Recently, my Golden Retriever had a hemotoma on his ear. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, less than a week after his final re-check, he had another one the same ear. Dr. O'Niel was very empathetic and got it taken care of right away! She was informative, she didn't try to make excuses, nor did she try to explain why this happened again. It could have been as simple as him shaking his head and the vein was weak from the trauma of the previous surgery! The staff has always been welcoming and inviting! As I would wait and observe others come and go with their fur babies, I had the opportunity to see that the staff has treated all their fur patients and their humans, with the utmost respect! I have seen this clinic, assist, with rescue animals and offer what they can to ensure the animal was safe and healthy! I personally, appreciate the welcome we get and the team environment they welcome me into. Great Job and THANK YOU ALL!

Took my 5 year old cat in on a Friday he had surgery on his stomic and got some fluids. Was told he was doing better and was best to leave him overnight for "monitoring" well they called and said when checked on him he was dead. They are sure happy to charge to house the animals but can't have someone there at night watch them??? Or on the weekend. Will not ever bring another animal there horrible care of animals

Care is okay, but vet is very rude and when I tried to ask questions because this was our first puppy, she kept trying to blow me off and made me feel awkward when I was trying to ask questions like I was stupid. She also didn't explain anything she was doing. When my husband took her in, the vet took a blood sample and didn't tell him why at all and just said, "We'll let you know if we find anything." Find what? And when I made an appointment the woman said the cost would be $40 but because of that blood test they took (and didn't tell us why), it was actually $80. The vet is extremely rude, but her assistants are nice. We will never be taking our puppy here again, however.

i rescued a kitten and took her in for a general exam. the vet ran the usual tests and the FIV came back positive. she didn't think the blood cells looked like FIV so tested again, but the second test also came back positive. she came in to tell me this and right away said "shall we just put her down?" when i responded "absolutely not!" she said "well, it's basically a death sentence." i took the kitten home and did some research where i found that FIV+ cats can live normal happy lives and, more importantly, kittens often times have false positive tests and should be re-tested at six months. well, guess what? that cute little kitten the vet thought should be put down recently tested NEGATIVE for FIV, and if this vet knew anything about it, she would have known about the false positive tests rather than immediately suggesting death. what kind of vet does that?!?! i will never take another pet there and would not recommend this vet. (and if i had a choice, i wouldn't even give a one star rating but i have to choose something before it'll let me post my review.)

Been here a few times. Last time I felt extremely rushed out the door and my concerns about my animals dismissed. $50 later and my cat is still sick.

We tried to have our 7 yr old dog seen on the weekend by calling the emergency service number and they didn't seem too eager to have us bring him in. We were told a couple things over the phone to try and he ended up passing away that night. It's been 3 weeks since he passed and we have never heard anything from them- past experience with other vets and even dog groomers is a note of condolence. Maybe it's not their practice, but it should be. If we do get another pet we won't go here.

I think that you just need to get to know Robin - she is very caring (maybe with a dry sense of humor) and her staff is amazing!! Last year, we had to put our poodle down because of cancer and Robin made sure we had time with her alone, as much as we needed, afterwards. Her staff is simply amazing - how many people will you find, as you exit that room, come around the counter and hug and cry with you?? I've been taking my puppies to Animal Health Clinic - now Animal Care Clinic for years and don't plan to go anywhere else. Hats off you all of you at Animal Care Clinic!

Aberdeen's Animal Care Clinic has been my pets' primary veterinary clinic for 7 years. We have both a cat and dog. The staff is friendly and have always taken good care of our pets. Their prices are fair and they are good about sending out mail reminders of vaccination due dates.
