DO NOT BRING YOUR VERY SICK ANIMAL HERE! They keep animals overnight but have NOONE there to look after them!!! Our most dreaded day came when I found our 17 year old cat paralyzed. We took him to Dr falcon and after a quick look and some labs he said let's put him on IV drip and wait. They've seen miraculous things happen. And we hoped. When we visited him in the afternoon, we learned that noone will be with our cat overnight. That everyone leaves at five and doesn't come back until morning. That's a very long time! So I asked if we could take him home. Given the chance he could die, we wanted him home. Plus if noone is there we could do much better than that while taking him home. Dr falcon who seemed annoyed that I would even ask this, said we would take his only chance of surviving to take him off the IV and home. So we did leave him there and told our kitty we'd be back in the morning. Bad mistake to listen to a vet vs your own intuition. They said call at 9am but couldn't get anyone on the phone until 10.30 when they said to come in to put him to sleep. In the morning we learned that he had bitten through his IV line and didn't have what was his only chance of surviving but noone knew because he was alone and noone was there all night. Also we learned that he kept hitting his face against the kennel door but noone called us about that we only got that info when we asked why his face was bloody and that was during the day when staff was there. Also we understand that people do their work. But it is a vet where people bring their sick animals and sometimes it's the last time they'd see or hold their loved pet. However we got a lot of rolling eyes and while they said take your time to say goodbye the actions did not reflect that. The coming in and out of our room. The annoyed looks on people's faces (not everyone but quite a few). Them always calling him it. Never once knowing his name. We had our cat for over 17 years and he was very special to us. So if you care about your animal more than it just being a pet take him somewhere who cares!!!

Very disappointed: brought my cat in for urinary symptoms and they said the solution was to buy prescription food from their website and feed it to my cat for the rest of her life. What a convenient racket for them. I went on google and most search results said that the solution to “struvite crystals” was to switch to wet food and increase water intake. Do they care about my cat or just creating dependence so they can profit? They are very nice to talk to, but can you trust them?

We traveled from out of town to All Creatures Veterinary Hospital for a second opinion with Dr. Falcon about a mass in my golden retriever's neck. The location is easy to find, nice waiting room and exam rooms. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Falcon is very knowledgeable and has great "bedside manner". He seems to be well educated and up to date on best treatment and surgical techniques. He and his team successfully removed the mass from my Golden's neck that same day and we we're even able to take our pup home that night. We received excellent communication via phone about how his surgery went and Dr. Falcon followed up with us the next morning to check in on him. Costs were as expected and our pup is recovering very well! Highly recommend.

Can't say enough good about this clinic and staff. We were referred to Dr. Falcon by the owner of Whispering Pines RV Park where we were staying. They got us in within an hour of my call and knew immediately what was wrong with our 12 yr old blind dachsie. Dr. Falcon even called the next morning before work to check on the 'patient'. He truly cares and the staff are equally deserving of praise for their service and care. God Bless all of you.

I have a little dog, Jax. Who ended up w/ bot worms. When I took him in to All Creatures I only knew that my poor pup had a couple open wounds that were only getting worse. He knew at a glance that it was a parasite/bot worms. If it wasn't for Dr. Falcon and his awesome team I wouldn't have been able to afford treatment anywhere else and would have ended up having to give my 11+ year friend up to the Humane Society as a surrender. Had my cat of 16 years treated for a UTI there. Never got into an argument with a stranger before until I met the main veterinarian (Falcon). Bizarre. Not sure why I went back to have my cat "put to sleep". Took me two years to realise he injected fluid directly into his lungs to kill him, instead of what I just learned as the standard of injection through the foot with an actual sleeping agent. I could tell he suffered because he screamed in pain. And the guy did it in a rush while my wife went to the bathroom. Sleazy and just wrong. They also rushed us through the goodbye like a busy restaurant. The guy couldn't even refer to my dear pet as a"he". He called him "it". Charged us for a week of care for an overnight stay which we where promised someone would be there all night. Then told the next day after my cat chewed through the IV that no one was there to deal with it. Multiple bad experiences, and the worst I've experienced of 16 years of pet ownership by any veterinary clinic. I'm wondering if I even have my actual cats ashes. My wife and I where left traumatized and with a terrible sense of betrayal. Not how a clinic should operate. Especially during a loss of a family member.

My dog was run over and severely injured. Dr. Falcon was patient kind and decisive - everything I was unable to be t the time. He did everything he could to make sure Rusty would regain full function, but once it was evident the femur healed crooked and use of his leg would be limited, Dr. Falcon advised me to just allow him to live with the leg as it is. Rusty has adjusted very well. He is joyful, active and happy. I am so grateful for Dr. Falcons skill and his wisdom. I believe he is probably one of the best Vets I have ever known and I have been an animal lover for a very long time. Thanks Dean and everyone else at the clinic. You are amazing folks.

My cat, Saki, had a UTI Dr. Falcon was able to see her fairly quickly. He is an amazing vet and all his support staff are well trained and experienced. Saki loved her visit until she had to be tested and given shots. She threw a hissy fit then. But the tech that brought her back to the room was so sweet. It was rather funny really and I felt calm and relaxed knowing that Saki was merely communicating her displeasure with the situation. She felt so much better by the end of the week. I called to see if an abandon dog I aquired had previously had previously been treated there for a rabies test. They said they couldn't give me that information without the previous owners request. We are talking a dog here folks you can't tell me if this dog has had his rabie shots? That is absurd.

Over the years I have taken my animals to many different Vets in Rapid City. A few were good, a few were not so good. Dr. Falcon is the best I've found. Ours were not easy issues, and we ask a lot of questions and do a lot of research on our own. He always took the time to discuss things with us, and answer questions. I trust his knowledge with animals the same as I trust my own doctor with me. Yes, he has a busy office, but that's because so many people want to use him. And he will try his best to find time for everyone (even at 2am). If a situation dictates spending more time, he does it. He made calls to colleagues to research any available new treatments for our pets. But he always had the best interest of our pets in mind, even when we ran out of options. He, and his staff, truly care about animals and their well-being. He will be the only vet I ever use.

We went to Dr. Falcon for about 1 year. He neutered our German Shepherd puppy at about the age of 6 months and our puppy use to get regular check ups there. Ever since a very young age our dog had anxiety problems, allergies to almost everything, displayed some early signs of hip dysplasia, and struggled with trying to gain weight. We wanted to take immediate action with everything before it got severe. We chose to voice our concern to Dr. Falcon. He did NOTHING. we are the type of people that have extra questions and concerns about everything, and we like all facts backed up by evidence. he would always just brush off our questions, glance at our dog, check his ears and say, "it's fine". Now don't get me wrong he's a great person and my dog really likes him, but my dog also loves our neighbors, so what? He treated our dog well, but as far as helping him, he didn't, there's a difference. When it comes to emergencies and excellent customer service, he has that, he makes obvious diagnosis and takes immediate action on them, I give him that. But when it comes to a more deeper diagnosis, like for the symptoms previously mentioned, he doesn't even try. Dr. Falcon didn't even sit down and take the time to get to know our dog and now 1 year and a half later we are still struggling with all of our dog's symptoms and no answers to our questions. We understand our dog is probably the ultimate test to a vetinarian, and because of the positive feedback we had heard about him and his credentials, we thought Dr. Falcon was the best for the job. Guess we were wrong.

All Creatures goes the extra mile with your pets with care and financially without trying to overcharge like many vets do. From my hamster with an eye infection, to my two large dogs who receive their vaccs and one who was spayed at All Creatures, all have received exceptional care from the nurses and doctors. I referred my mother there and the services were 1/3 of the cost compared to her usual, local vet. She has also decided to switch to All Creatures and will be fixing her dogs there because of the excellent staff, and extremely reasonable prices. He just doesn't have the time to talk to you or even exam your animal. He barely peeks his head in the room with one foot out the door. Another time he hollered at me from that room he takes the animal into. He's nice enough but think he has taken on more than he can handle. As a result services are cut to minimal time but then time is money So if he can squeeze in 6 animals an hr. He can make more money if that's his goal?

Dr. Falcon is probably the best veterinarian doctor Rapid City has. Dr. Flacon treats your pet as if it was his own. He will even do follow up calls to see how your pet is doing, not the tech but the doc himself. I have referred my family to him and they have switched to Dr. Flacon. We all have been to the one on Canyon Lake road but they do not show the love and attention Dr. Falcon shows. He really cares about the pets he sees. I would highly recommend him for your next vet appointment.

I have two of the sweetest dogs and we have moved around a lot. We tried to take them to Black Hills Animal Hospital and they were treated so poorly that they bothacrually got severe anxiety to go to the vet. We finally decided it was time to fix our Borderpit. My husband took him and said he knew where he was and started getting really anxious and terrified. As soon as he was pulled in the back room the nurse acknowledged him and calmed him down immediately. The rooms are so immaculate you would never guess another patient had been in there before and the staff is so amazing. The next day I personally got a call from the Vet checking on how our pup was doing. Best Veterinary hospital we have ever been to and I will always tell everyone to take your furbabies here!

We woke up with a very sick puppy on our hands and my boyfriends brother recommended we take her here! I was very impressed by how quickly they got us in. I called at 8:00 in the morning (right when they opened) and was told to immediately bring her in for testing. No waiting. No appointment. It was awesome. Decided to cancel her appointment to be spayed next week at a different vets office and made an appointment here! They were all super friendly and there is quite a large price difference compared to other vets. About $70 cheaper than when I brought her in for the same thing a few months ago to a different vet.

We normally don’t go here, we went because of the pricing and we need to save money due to moving but honestly I regret it. I would have rather paid the extra for my dog to not be treated like she was vicious the entire time we were in the facility due to her breed and high energy. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and I’ll stay continuing to recommend our old vet as they’re amazing and don’t treat anyone different or animals due to their breed and size.

First off, let me say if I could give zero stars I would. I took my cat to All Creatures to get spayed and afterwards she was having complications so I took her back in. At this point, I was appalled at how the head veterinarian, Dean Falcon, treated both me and my cat. First, he acted as though I was wasting his time and that I was a nuisance for even coming in to see him. He was doing a lot of eye rolling and making short remarks during our conversation. Long story short, he was a condescending a** to me but that's not the worst if it, he was also very aggressive with my cat. The veterinarian I had when I lived in Wisconsin would have never took a cat carrier, turned it upside down and shook the cat out so it first hits it's side on the exam table before falling to the floor. I mean seriously? You can take apart a cat carrier! For anyone who is looking for a GOOD veterinarian, I wouldn't waste my time with this place. I will NEVER return to All Creatures! I now take my cat to Mountain View Animal Hospital, the staff it's curteous and knowledgeable, I could immediately tell my cat is in better hands than she was at All Creatures!

Kind, caring staff. When our Sheppard mix, Ginger, got sick they were so efficient and helped us figure out what made her sick. She stayed the night and they monitored her gave her fluids. We picked her up the next day and she has been on a steady upward recovery ever since. I was referred by a friend to Jamie. My Boston Terrier has had issues with ripping his Dewclaws because he plays so hard. We decided to remove his dewclaws. Anyway, the second Jamie walked in the door she was so excited to meet Murphy, she was very happy and could tell she loves her job and loves animals! She didn't mind that my over hyper dog was jumping and licking her face. :) Jamie explained everything to me and was very sweet. I was very comfortable leaving my pup with her for surgery to get his dewclaws removed. When we picked him up he was of course happy as ever to see us. Jamie met with us and explained very well how to take care and how to disperse his meds. His incisions healed very well! took about 2 weeks and he is glad to be back playing fetch! I would recommend her over and over again! she is AMAZING!! and will now be coming to Jamie for all of our Veterinary needs. Thanks so Much for being so Awesome!!

When you question his methods and how he treats his customers and their pets and share your experiences of his practice with others he will threaten you with a lawsuit for slander even though every word you have spoke was the truth. If you question him further over the phone he will threaten physical harm. There are recordings to prove it. In my honest opinion, it's best to steer clear of this "vet" and seek more qualified care for your four legged loved ones.

Dr. Falcon met me on the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a 45 minute notice. He and his wife spent as much time as needed to care for my dog after being hit by a truck. The follow up visits were of the exact same caliber. I was amazed at how much time and attention Falcon put into our visit. I’ve worked with Dr. Falcon and Dr. Hillary and both are fantastic vets. Over the years and several moves we’ve taken our cat to 5 different veterinary clinics and I have never been treated as well as at all creatures. They truly listen to your concerns and show compassion to your animals. Dr. Falcon even offered to come out and do an exam on our cat while the cat stayed in the car after we explained how stressed he gets going to the vet. He is the only vet that has ever managed to keep our cat calm. We just got a new kitten as a companion for our older cat and I wouldn’t bring her anywhere else! They are the best!

Dr. Falcon is the best Vet I have ever dealt with, and I've had dogs since I was 4. He knows what he's doing and he truly cares about his patients and their humans. If your pet is sick or has had a procedure done, you're likely to get a call from Dr. Falcon, not his staff, to check up on them a day or two later. If your pet has an emergency, All Creatures will fit you in if it is during business hours. Back in Denver, when one of our dogs needed an emergency appointment, and our Vet was booked, they told us to go to the Emergency Vet. That was a horrible day because we had to send our baby to her next journey, and it wasn't our Vet that delivered that news or that performed that final procedure. The only way that would EVER happen with Dr. Falcon would be if he was out of town. If you need a Vet in Rapid City, All Creatures is the only choice.

They ran a test on my animal that wasn't even necessary, never found the real problem, shoved a random medication at me, and charged me $200 for it. Not the first time the exact same thing has happened there. To both me and my mom. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Falcon used to be the number one vet in town but he's just greedy now.
