The only place we will bring our 11 year old pitbull. Doc is always willing to get down to her level when working with her. He also isn't afraid to wrestle her around for her nail trims. Its wonderful. We had to take her to get a tumor removed and had to leave her overnight. The staff was nice enough to let us come in and pick her up on a day they weren't even open. We were so thankful.

I brought my 6 month old male rabbit in to be neutered. The veterinarian called and told us the rabbit was a female and asked if we still wanted it fixed. We thought this was strange because we were sure he was a male but told them to go ahead. They performed surgery and were unable to find the uterus (which makes sense since he was a male) and after digging around for who knows how long on an unnecessary surgery our beloved rabbit never recovered from anesthesia and died.

Dog named Cookie died while getting spayed there because of a reaction to the medicine. I understand that happens. We go to say goodbye (Wife, 10 year old son, and I) at the end of the day. The help desk tells the doctor we were there to see Cookie and the doctor comes back a minute later with a bag of cookies. I did not appreciate his sense of humor in that situation. Really cold.

This was the worst vet I have ever been to. He gave me my pet back after surgery covered in her own blood! It was disgusting and horrifying! Someone then gave me a gross towel to wipe me and my pet off with but I will never forget that experience! Dr.Williams sucks!

Poor quality of service. Never even got an introduction from the vet the first time I brought my dog in. He just looked at my dog and moved on. If you want to go to a place you and your dog feel like a number, this is it. Was also provided very little information on licensing my dog, how to care after getting neutered, etc. Was only advised after proactively asking. Not a good place for first time dog owners.

Review was: Best small animal vet in town, period. Boy was I wrong. We used to use, and refer, Dr. Williams but have since realized that all animal pet hospital is a VERY unreliable clinic. First he misdiagnosed one of our pets as untreatable and recommended having her PTS. Another vet said his diagnosis was super weird and cleared up the problem with basic antibiotics. It literally cleared up in two days. Still, we thought that since they were so cheap that we'd go there anyways for routine stuff like shots. Then we needed proof of vaccinating stuff like bordetella and when we contacted the vet, we found out they hadn't even given half the shots they were supposed to. All animal SEEMS like an affordable, quality clinic. But they're always busy so Dr. Williams never has sufficient time to talk to you and, apparently, make proper diagnoses. I recommend trying a vet like Sioux Nation or Prairie Creek - there is no comparison.

Dr Dayton has been extremely fair, helpful, and doesn't charge a crazy amount like normally vets could for our animals. He truly cares about the well being about the situation at hand and wants to help you without breaking the bank. I would recommend him to any pet owner. Hands down the best vet in Sioux Falls. He was the old vet at the Sioux Falls Zoo and has a special touch with every animal I've (or my parents) sent their way. Everyone here is personal, cares for pets, and doesn't try to sell you on products. The last three times I've went their it was to neuter my sugar gliders. Not only was the procedure non-invasive, but very reasonable (at $80 when I thought I'd have to go the the cities and pay $180+). I just scheduled another appointment tomorrow (called a day in advance and they were able to fit us in). Overall 5/5. I've experienced great care with parakeets, dogs, cats, sugar gliders and even an injured squirrel my friend and I found when we were young.

First off, I would like to say that Dr. Williams is hands-down the best vet I have ever been to. He understands my pups like none other and doesn't gouge on prices like a lot of other vets in this city. I have an old corgi who hates his shots and has tried to nip every vet that has ever given him a rabies shot. However, Loki did not even notice when Dr. Williams gave him the shot, just kept letting Dr. Williams love him. My newest pup, a shiba inu (and breed known for being standoffish) also liked him. That being said, Dr. Williams is a SINGLE VET OFFICE and is HUGELY POPULAR. Even when I had an appointment, I waited upwards of thirty minutes to get into an office. The man doesn't look like he even has a chance to sit down between seeing his large furry customer base. If you're looking for a quick in-and-out, probably not the place to go. If you're looking for a man who has your pets' interests at the top of his priorities, this is the vet for you.

Took our dog here for a surgery that other vets in town wanted 2 or 3 times as much money to perform. He explained everything to us in plain English and really cared about our dog. Surgery went great and our dog is back to being himself. We now bring our dog here for annual shots and checkups.

I've been going to Dr. Williams and All Animal Pet Hospital for over 15 years. We started with him for my birds, and then have continued with my dogs. He's empathetic, a clever diagnostician, and practical. And, his staff ROCKS. Their ability to not only deal with the dogs, but frankly, the very high maintenance owners (like me) is fantastic. They not only take care of my dogs, but when I was bitten by a dog at my old doggy daycare, I called them (in tears) to ask about how the process went when animal control was involved, and what to do, etc. They are the GOLD standard for animal care.

This is my favorite vet clinic in Sioux Falls. The staff members are super friendly and really make my dog feel special when he comes.
