We’re new to the area so we were looking for a great place for our dog. We made an appt online and when we showed, the receptionist went away for 20 min all confused and then told us we would have to wait another 20-30 min w/ no explanation as to why even though she said we were confirmed in the computer. We were put into a room 20 min later, answered questions from the receptionist and then presumed to sit in the room for 45 min where we debated leaving until the doctor came in at 9pm(when they close). The doctor and vet technician were all over the place and it was evident they hadn’t even looked at his info before consulting with us. We were there for a check-up, vaccination and to receive tick meds and they made it all about my dog throwing up once because the receptionist had asked but we showed no concern about it. We were definitely put as last priority because when we finished there was no one left and no vehicles in the parking lot. Thought the prices were fairly high. Fur parents will understand we wanted the BEST care for our little love and he did not get it. Not one to write bad reviews but we thought this was pretty bad, we won’t be returning nor will we be recommending this vet.

I was able to get an appointment scheduled the next day. No wait time after I arrived. The staff and was very friendly. The price for the office visit and prescription was a little high. I would recommend them for the level care and service provided.

My daughter recently moved to this area. I am in town cat sitting and had a concern over Mr Mac. I called the animal hospital and they were amazing. Helped me over the phone. Assured me that the cat is most likely fine. Told me what to watch for in case I need to call back. When the time comes, this will be our vet.

Great place to go to if you have an animal I will recommend this place to anyone they are so compassionate that I was there for a friend of mine whose dog passed away and they treated me good imagine how they treated him but the place I would recommend to anyone if you have any pet any type of pet to bring them there they will really help you out

Our cat Leia was having some issues one morning, so I looked to find a vet open on Sunday. I ended up taking her here, and it was great (except, ya know, for the whole sick cat thing...). The staff is friendly, and the waiting rooms and examining rooms were very clean. The office seems to be split in two, with one side for cats, one side for dogs (I don't know what happens if you sprain your hamster). I was charged $125 for an emergency visit, and various labs and such were about $150/ea. We have a follow-up on the 19th, so I'll be able to add more details then.

Claudia Soscia

This has got to be the greediest hospital. Every I ever went there they overcharged. I called tonight with a cat suffering from cancer. I wanted him euthanized because he has stopped eating. He saw a vet last week and one yesterday. He is not going to get better. I told this to the receptionist. She said because he had never been there before they would charge in addition to the euthanasia a $120 emergency exam fee. For what? I don't even know why I called such a rip off place. Cause it was close.

The staff are always welcoming and attentive to your dogs needs. My pup ended up needing surgery and they were amazing to work with. Plus, they accept care credit which was very helpful when paying for his surgery.

I recently had to bring in a very sick cat that ended up being put to sleep. Everyone here is professional, kind and very understanding. It seems to be a nice, clean and spacious facility. They made the process a little easier.

I have been having my pets treated at Warwick Animal Hospital since 1979. Dr. Gustafson and his staff go above and beyond to see that your pet gets the upmost care and that you are reassured throughout the entire treatment process. I would never consider taking my pets anywhere else. Number one in my opinion! So give them a try, I feel sure you will be satisfied with not only the veterinarians but the assistants and office staff as well.

Christina Oconnor

Love the staff here. They are excellent with their patients and are very compassionate

A little pricey but couldn't have a better vet. They truly care for your animals. If you can afford they are they best around.

Pam Wilson

Dr D. Dr G and the entire staff go so far out of their way to make you feel welcome , to get to know both you and your animals , and to provide excellent care. I would recommend them to anticipate animal owner in the region.

DR. Dan Echt is great and highly recommended. Also, the facility is very clean and organized and the staff was extremely friendly.

NekoCake

Very uninformative, unprofessional when it comes to surgeries. Seek another place for anything serious. This is not a "hospital". More like a simple vet..

Great team, friendly and knowledgeable. Prescription prices are a bit high.

There are very compassionate people that work here. Dr. Spinella and the staff are wonderful. Flexible appointments are available too. I was shocked I could get an appointment for my dog so quick. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is the prices. I found it to be a little more expensive than the other places. My fur baby had an ear infection and they got him in right away and took care of it. Even showed me how to so I could do it home too. I definitely thought it was worth it.

At first I wasn't really feeling them but my kitten has come around to like them so I guess I can. After several complaints or worries were addressed they have accommodated all of my needs...good customer service.

Marianne Stewart

very disappointed to find they can't do a simple thing as calling you to let you know that there's a problem with the grooming appointment you made for your cat, instead when I got there for the appointment I was told because they didn't have a record of a shot that was required for my cat to have in order for him to be groomed, and they couldn't reach my Vet....they sent him back home with me...a simple phone....

Kathy Tabele

Sadly I had to put my cat Murray down yesterday due to cancer. Thankyou to the Dr. and the staff for your compassion during a difficult time .

Thank goodness for these people they have provided several of my pets with life long care The caring and compassion of these people are second to none.

After receiving my beloved, Dog's medical records (from 1 visit) I noticed so many inconsistencies. I did not have too much time to process it as my dog never left Ocean State Veterinarian Services the next day. BUT I read what was sent. Those inconsistencies can be a huge contributing factor to decisions that another Veterinarian makes regarding the fate of your dog. Also, waiting 3 hours only to be seen at 9 pm, closing knowing they want to rush home, all the while being told: "well it's better than being at Ocean State as you could be there all night." No, actually it wasn't. The records also stated that I refused blood work for my dog. I absolutely did NOT. Thankfully I had a witness. I was paying almost $1,000 for my dog to stay why would I refuse blood work, it's just not true and it's disconcerting. Thankfully I took her huge Cuddly Dud blanket or she certainly would have been beyond uncomfortable. We waited so long the lights went out in the room.

Dawn Trudell

I called and asked them if they had an Emergency Dr. on and they said she was and to bring her right down. I said it would only take me 15 minutes to bring my cat there. I rushed my cat there and paid for an emergency appt for nothing because my cat was left in waiting room after the Dr. was told she couldn't take 2 or 3 steps without colapsing. They lied about that Dr being an Emergency Dr.. I brought the xrays to a second Dr. and found out she was wrong about her heart, missing that she had significant hypertention and also missed seeing 2 very obvious things found on her xrays. The second Dr.. from a different hospital was shocked that this so called "Emergency Dr." said that nothing was wrong on the xrays, nothing was wrong with her heart and she didn't know that she was severely dehydrated !

On July 31 we took our two pitbull puppies in for a visit to be checked for a urinary track infection stool sample and Rabies shot . The test results for the urinary tract infection came back positive and the vet and the vet staff never called us . This is not the first time this has happened . In the 35 years I have had as a dog owner I have never been to a vet that failed to notify the owner that their dog was sick . They have lost me and my three dogs as a customer for good . These people are extremely overpriced and negligent I wouldn't bring a goldfish to them. If my son had not called we would have never been notified that our puppies were sick .

We brought in our dog to the WARWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL yesterday 01/29/2019 and saw Dr. NATALIE DIAMANTI. Duke was not feeling well he was getting sick, shaking, having a hard time breathing and overall struggling. Dr. DIAMANTI ran some routine blood work and a small ultrasound and proceeded to tell us nothing was wrong with our beloved dog and that he was simply having a bad day. We brought Duke home where he continued to decline in health, something was not right but once again Dr. DIAMANTI said everything was fine and who wouldn’t trust there local vet? Around 9pm Duke was still having a hard time and left us with an uneasy feeling so we brought him to an emergency animal hospital. They took him in immediately and ran his vitals. Right away the doctors we’re able to tell something was terribly wrong. Duke’s stomach was full of blood and he had two masses, one in his stomach and one on his liver that went completely unnoticed. It turned out that Duke had stomach cancer, and a tumor had ruptured in his stomach bringing him severe discomfort. We were all shocked because not 5 hours prior Dr. DIAMANIT at WARWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL took blood work and did and ultrasound and said the dog was fine. The staff at the second vet hospital were so shocked by Dr. DIAMANTI’S lack of findings, that they thought they must have the wrong dog Due to the fact the dog they evaluated, Duke, was so sick they aren’t sure how Dr. DIAMANTI could have misdiagnosed him. In the end Duke had to be euthanized that night because of the fluid in his stomach, there was no hope or time for him. There was not enough time for his whole family to say bye to him and that is at the fault of NATALIE DIAMANTI and WARWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

We just started taking, our two, dog's here. Aside from, vaccinations, my dog's, have not needed any, medical attention. We have two, male Yorkies,..Jack-16yrs old and Chompers-9 yrs old. I would have given 4 stars but after these past few days, something changed. My eldest, Jack has been seen and treated for excessive, scratching and skin allergies. We go through this every summer since Jack was a pup. He's also highly allergic to flea bites. Even with flea & tick treatment, "which he receives, every month", of a flea even looks at him, BOOM, skin flair up. Our first visit, the Vet ordered a series of blood tests to rule out, any underlying, illnesses. Everything came back good

Doctors are great" but the staff have no customer service skills they all look miserable and there quit rude. They do not acknowledge you they act like your not even there until there ready from picking there head up. Conversations don't go far with any of them either. I had to go there for quit some time my dog had knee surgery i only went there for doctor clark" he is great. Staff at warwick animal hospital need training on customer service skills. They will lose tons of buisness with staff like that. I know i wouldnt ever go back

I have had nothing but great things to say about everyone that works here. We have had to put a dog down there that wasn't even a patient and they were so welcoming to us. After that experience I switched my new puppy with them. We have owned dogs for 29 years and never had to experience what we went through with our new labrador puppy. He needed emergency surgery for an intestinal issue which was life threatening. Everyone there was so nice and courteous to us. Thankful that everything turned out okay. I feel so comfortable that I can call and when I mention my dogs name they know who I am. They take the time to answer your questions and don't rush you. My labradore is now over a year and loves to go and see his friends.

Jen Carone

Truly amazing! I was a walk in as well as an emergency and they took me right away!! Super sweet people and the prices were really inexpensive. Highly suggest and definitely coming back!!

Tina DiMatteo

When we had to bring our little girl Angel there for an emergency, they were amazing. Sadly, she was in full heart and pulmonary failure, and her prognosis was very poor, we made the decision to let her go and not suffer. The entire staff from Vet to front desk were nothing short of caring and compassionate. They placed me, my family, and our little girl above $$, and made a very difficult decision a little easier to bare. From the very bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone at WAH for everything they did or tried to do for our little girl.

Ok they do a good job taking care of my dogs. My pitbull just had knee surgery and is recovering very well. My only complaint is I was told that 80% had to be paid before they'd do the surgery. That's fine, but being told 80% was due up front lead me to believe that the remaining 20% I'd be billed for , but 24 hours later when I picked my dog up I was informed that the remaining 20% was due. Luckily I had the available fund's with a credit card, if not would I not be allowed to take my dog home? If 80% is due up front and the remaining 20% is due the next day then just tell me to pay the full bill up front.

Great hospital! Take extra care of your pets!

The hours are great but the vet is horrible! I brought my dog there shortly after I adopted her and I told them that I thought she had issues with her hips. I brought her back several times because she was limping and I told them again that I thought there was something wrong. Every time the vet wrote it off as a remnant of an old injury and said that she was fine. After almost a year of being told she was fine, I decided to bring her to a different vet for a second opinion. Turns out she’s not fine; she has arthritis, hip dysplasia, and had a torn ACL (which technically was an old injury, but it hadn’t been repaired — so not fine). Save your money and your time, do not use this vet!

I've been bringing my cat here for the last 4 years since I got her and I've never been disappointed with their doctors. Although they are a bit pricier than elsewhere in my opinion, they are open during convenient hours and accept online appointment scheduling. Dog and cat areas are well separated and the place is clean. Does not smell at all, although last time I was here (April 2017) there were blood stains on the floor! Scary!

Over the past many years, I have turned to Warwick Animal Hospital for emergency care for very ill cats. My cats always seem to need care at night and on Sundays, so even though they are not my usual vet, I have sought their help. The first time I found a small kitten hanging by his neck in a bush. He had expended all his energy and I (and the vet we saw there) didn't think he'd make it. The doctor said that I could leave him there overnight, but he didn't think it would help, and be very expensive. Instead, he taught me how to give him fluids by injection. Against all odds the little guy survived. Two times I have had to bring cats who were dying there so their suffering could be stopped. On all three of the above mentioned occasions we were treated with tremendous respect and compassion by all of the employees. The care was not cheap, but I am always shocked by the cost of vet services. I think since most of us have health insurance and only have to pay co-pays and deductibles, we aren't really aware just how much medical care of every kind costs. I did not find the fees at Warwick Animal Hospital to be excessive compared with other vets. Today, a very special little cat that has been my companion for 17 years made it known it was time for her to go. She had breast cancer and I knew it was just a matter of time, but she went from doing fine yesterday, to awful this morning. I immediately called Warwick Animal Hospital and they told me to bring her right in,.Gilly passed on her own a few minutes later. I called to explain and asked if I should bring her in anyway to be sure. When we arrived they took her right back to the vet, although by now it was clear that she was gone. The vet confirmed this and they returned her to me. When I asked what I owed, they said nothing. To me, that shows a real caring for the animals they treat and does not reflect a place whose main concern is monetary. I expected there would be a charge. If Warwick Animal Hospital was closer, I would definitely switch my other animals to them. I will always be grateful that they treated my ill animals so kindly, and even showed great respect for Gilly who was beyond knowing, carrying her with tender care. It brought comfort to me knowing my animals were treated as if they were their own animals.

All 3 dogs had kennel cough simultaneously...my regular vet is too far, so I needed a new one. Warwick Animal Hospital was well recommended so I tried them and they were wonderful. The staff were friendly and Dr. Eicht was knowledgeable and all my dogs liked him. I'll be going back again for sure.

The standard of care here is exceptional. It's obvious that the vets and techs love animals. The facility is clean and the grounds are well kept. I took my dog Inga in 9 years ago for end of life care and the compassion they showed was remarkable. They even manage to keep my new dog Bailey, who is nervous from having been a stray, calm and happy.

Nick Bentley

I agree with BritGirl. People don't understand the cost and value of owning pets, especially when they are neglectful and end up needing thousands of dollars in surgery. I have been bringing all of my pets--3 dogs, 2 cats-- to WAH for years now and the staff there is the best. The medicine that is practiced and the way they go about doing things is phenomenal compared to some pleaces that I've been in the past.

Dr. Spinella (sorry if i spelt that wrong) and her staff were excellent and thorough with our cat. She even saved us some money on lab tests and worked diligently to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Very professional, I would recommend to any pet owner.

tammyrules2000

My labradoodle had skin issues and his primary doctor kept saying it was fleas but I knew it wasn't and the medicine just kept making my dog sicker, so out of frustration I tried Warwick Animal Hospital and they knew exactly what his skin issues were. 9 years later I still bring my dog there

L Blansett

We love Dr. Hirschmann, who we think treats our cats as well as she would treat her own (and she appears to be an excellent cat mom). We've been taking our animals there for several years and have seen several changeovers in doctors, but Dr. H has been there a long time, so it feels like we have gotten consistently good care from the same doctor. The staff has always been friendly to us and seems competent. The staff was particularly kind to us when one of our cats passed away from kidney failure. Since one of our older cats passed away, she has asked that we bring in our other older cat every 6 months for blood work, and so our oldest kitty is going on 17 now, and she is still here after her younger sister went because we've made the visits to the vet part of her "senior care." Our other two cats are youngsters, and they like Dr. H. (The senior cat is a terror with veterinarians, so we do those as sedated exams.) It's sad that other people have not had good experiences, and I feel for them and their lost pets. I just thought it worthwhile to share our very positive experiences.

Very nice and caring people, we brought our cats there and they were excellent. One of our cats had surgery here and they called me everyday with an update.

A bad experience does not always need to be because of the cost as some people are suggesting here. I brought my dog to this vet several times before a friend called me in an emergency because their dog had just been brutally attacked and was on the verge of dying-- and it was on a Sunday. I told them Warwick Animal Hospital. I found out afterward that they had been turned away, that the receptionist wouldn't even open the door. Thanks to the team at Ocean State Animal Hospital and after several surgeries, she is going to survive. So, Warwick Animal Hospital lost a 4-figure bill for no good reason.... why would they turn away a dog bleeding to death? It seems that Warwick Animal Hospital received all 5-star ratings and 2 or less stars on Yelp, and there has to be a reason for that. Zero Stars If I Could

Crystal Frates

Had to bring my dog in in an emergency called several places closer to me and no one could take him including his regular vet... We got there and they took us right in tears and anxiety attacks and all and was nothing but extremely caring towards me and my kids and dog the original estimate was to high for me so the vet scales back and got to be affordable to get him through the night without suffering and being in pain. Seriously thinking of making this place the new vet if he makes it even though they are pricier and a little bit of a drive but they will work with you and exhaust all possible help outside their facility. They are not a low income facility nor claim to be but they will help you as much as possible and talk you through every test procedure whatever and treat you like you're family. I received nothing but respect and compassion and THE TRUTH as hard as it was to hear.

Brad Kirton

Pleasant staff and able to see me the same day, but charged me $110 to check the vitals on my cat and tell me to take him to another vet because they didn't know what was wrong. Thanks.

Melissa Dixon

The facility is nice enough and the staff all seen kind. They have my dog under the wrong last name and refuse to change it. My dog usually goes to a different vet and we are only here for an ortho surgical consult. This facility can't retrieve records because the names don't match. Yet they refuse to change it. Not sure how much sense that makes. Update: This place is horrid. Due to said name confusion, the old woman at the front desk was offended that the paperwork was inaccurate and that i was upset about it. She complained so much that they now refused to perform the surgery my dog desperately needs. After I spent $500 of course. What animal loving facility denies a pet needed treatment and creates prolonged pain/ suffering?

I brought my dog there just to get a echocardiogram done for her heart murmur and have the results sent to my vet. I told them my dog had severe separation anxiety. We dropped our dog off at 8 am and I kept calling checking and found out they just started the echocardiogram at 4:30pm. So finally I went there and waited for my dog. I got my dog back after 5pm very stressed out. It took over 2 hrs to calm her down at home. It was a horror show. I never got to talk to vet concerning the results other then telling me my dog doesn't need medication for her heart murmur. They said they would fax everything over to my vet and found out they didn't. My vet called Warwick Animal Hospital and they said they had no record of my dog. I then had to call Warwick Animal Hospital again and told them to fax all results over to my vet. I find Warwick Animal Hospital very disorganized and lack of communication. Never again will I go there again. I don't recommend this Hospital.

Jasper and his family say thank you so very much, Dr Karcher, Dr Belair and most wonderful stuff of the Warwick Animal Hospital. Worst experience ever! My Partner and myself our careers require us to travel. So my partner had an assignment in RI so we took our dog here for a check up/ shots/ ect.. After our dog was in the back he came out shaking and he was scared to death. When we took him back home he would shake and hide under the bed. As if someone had been mean to him. The entire office staff are very rude and disrespectful. Then when we moved to Texas we called and tried to get our dogs records and it took 2 WEEKS to get them faxed to the vet. They are very unprofessional, and rude. Please take heed to my advise DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

I went to this location in February with my 8 year old cat. He had a urinary blockage. We were told he was in serious condition and it needed to be resolved immediately. The animals in my household are like family. I applied for care credit and said go ahead with anything necessary to save my cat. They were able to clear out the obstruction. After the procedure they informed us that this may happen again so to keep a close eye on him. At this point we spend more than a thousand dollars. About a week later it happened again so I took him in immediately, we had two options to do the procedure again, which if he came out of it it could just happen again, or there was a surgery they could perform where they could completely remove the issue. The surgery was thousands of dollars but he was family. So I thought about my finances and decided to go with it because he was an overall healthy cat and I was told there was minimal risks for the surgery. So mittens was admitted and they were taking care of him until the surgery would take place because the surgeon isn't available all hours or everyday. So we would call to check in and they would call us. We received a call that he had finished surgery and he was doing great and he would be able to go home on on such day. Which was about 2 days post surgery. So we called them the next day he was still doing good, no worries until we get a call at 2am. I answered the phone and a very emotional women is telling me I need to rush there because he need blood immediately and will not survive the night. Now I had the impression I was at an animal hospital. Why would they not have blood available after doing a surgery? I was very confused but rushed there at 2am scared and nervous. I got to the "hospital" and there are two women crying at the back door saying he needs to go now and to slap him in the face to keep him awake, they gave me a location and I drove as fast as possible 20 min away to a hospital that had blood. It was too late, they tried to give him blood but he wasn't responding to it. They revived him once but his body couldn't take the trauma. After this heartbreak I looked up the surgery. The surgery is known to have a significant loss of blood. I'm confused as to why they did not recommend I go to a hospital that was equipped and ready to save mittens as soon as the noticed something wasn't right. I was given his medical files afterward and a few hours before I got the call he was lethargic, drooling at the mouth...why did no one check is blood count until it was far to late? why wasn't I notified sooner? In the files you can clearly see that mittens was getting sick for multiple hours...and in the event of an emergency they should have someone readily available to get blood and get it to them, not have the family drive around at 2 am as they cat is hooked to bags and dying in the back seat. I truly regret not being more informed about this surgery, and not doing my own research but mittens was in critical condition and I trusted them with his care. I do not recommend coming to this location for any major surgery. The staff was great the first time around but very unprofessional when I went to get mittens to bring him to the hospital, they were sobbing...I knew right then he wasn't going to make it. This is my experience I know everyone will have a different one but I want people to know the traumatic experience I had to go through.

From the moment you walk through the doors you feel like family. The entire staff is wonderful. The doctors spend all the time YOU need to understand your pets condition. The first time I brought my dog there he was shaking with anxiety. Now he has no apprehension in the waiting room. Our baby is our world, that's why we keep coming back

Cameron Burroughs

Great facility, awesome staff and doctors.

Brian Tavares

Nice clean facility, with convenient hours in case you have a pet emergency. The only downfall is it's difficult to see a regular doctor here, as it appears they constantly rotate and are only available on certain days of the week. Nonetheless, each doctor we've seen has been very knowledgeable and helpful.

We took our cat Charlie last night and the doctor and team were helpful, knowledgeable and caring while our little fur baby was sick. They were also very reasonable as far as cost. Thank you Warwick Animal Hospital!!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Helps make it a little less stressful when taking your four-legged best friend for an office visit.

It seems like veterinarians can get away with being as incompetent, negligent and uncaring as they want to be, and instead of them paying the price, it's our beloved pets who do....WITH THEIR LIVES. My sister and I took our cat here for two years for regular exams and blood workups, believing that he was getting good care. Only to find out after his death (a month ago) that the crud it turns out he had for a vet had neglected to put him on a life-saving medication he needed-- and which is commonly prescribed for the health condition he suffered from. His last moments of life were horrible too--he died screaming from a massive seizure. WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. I'm so sorry that we ever took him to Warwick Animal Hospital. Sorry too, that we were fools enough to believe that he was getting good care from Dr. White. She was completely unapologetic after he died because, you know, in their own heads, vets can do no wrong. But she did do wrong and now our sweet cat is dead because of it. Do your pets a favor and stay away from Warwick Animal Hospital.

I am a life-long dog owner and have tried several local veterinary hospitals but I have not found one better than Warwick Animal Hospital. They always provide top quality care for my dogs. Heather, the hospital manager, and the rest of the staff are professional, courteous and my dogs love going there. I travel frequently, so I have also begun boarding my dogs here. The hospital is conveniently located near TF Green airport so I can drop them off on my way and pick them up upon my return.

Brought a elderly hospitalized neighbor's pet to be cremated, insisted the frozen chiuaua was 5.3 pounds which adds $30 to the price over 5lbs, had to shame them into giving the poor woman the lower price. They contacted animal control said we killed the dog, turns out one of the other dogs attacked it and killed it, but had police & ASPCA come do home interviews for an hour. After we found out we weren't guilty, shocker!, had to contact them almost 3 weeks later re: ashes. Were told ASPCA would have them, found out ASPCA was handling the cremation. Had to contact WAH as to a refund since they were not handling the cremation and we weren't getting the paw print we paid for, acted like no idea about the refund which ASPCA said they should have actively contacted us about. Also ASPCA told us dog weighed 3.2 lbs, when mentioned they should be aware they are overcharging people was told we were charged the unded 5 lbs price and didn't seem to care that was only because I fought for it and even called the crematorium to get ok with them, so buyer beware, you may be overcharged in your grief. All and all awful experience and embarrassing since I was the one insisting we should use them since I have used that vet for 15 years at least. So disappointed and dissatisfied with everything, not even mad they were concerned with how the animal died, due diligence, I get that, I love animals and want them safe, but can't tell another animal hurt it? Tried to rip off elderly woman and then were going to keep payment for services they didn't provide. Almost feel like animal control was contacted in retaliation for argument over price of cremation. Embarrassing service for WAH and pretty sure I need to find a new vet.

"Great facility with good staff."

I brought my baby Gucci to the emergency room a few days ago, and everything was perfect from the front desk girls, tech and vet! They were so sweet, concerning, loving towards my Gucci and myself. The best part, they were NOT money hungry at all, like Ocean State, their main concern was my Gucci’s health. I received a phone call 24hrs after the visit with my buds test result! Words can’t explain how grateful I am. Xoxo from Gucci and myself!

My boy was not easy to deal with. He was aggressive and always needed a muzzle. He was 15 years old and his quality of life was not great anymore, Dr Spinella was awesome. Incredibly sweet and understanding, and was there when we had to put our sweet boy down. She was there with me as I sobbed.. they truly care. They even sent me a print of my sweet boys paw. Worth every dime I ever spent there. Be good to these women they see it all from amazing to the very end. I will always recommend this hospital.

Today, I asked for all my pets records. I will not be returning. This weekend, I needed boarding for my dog. I called on Sunday to make arrangements to have my dog boarded from that Wednesday to Sunday. They told me that he needed to seen prior to update his vaccinations. I took the first available appointment, which was Tuesday. I asked if my dog was good to board on Wednesday then and the person on the phone said "Yes". Today, I was told that pre-boarding appointments must be booked 5 days before boarding and they cancelled my boarding reservation leaving me without care for my dog during my 5 day trip and 24 hours to find it. When I asked them why they would schedule a pre-boarding appointment for the day before, they blamed me for making the appointment. The vet stared at me offering no help or apology. No suggestions of places I could call or services in the area. I wouldn't have made the appointment if they hadn't said my dog was set to board. I have a day to find a dog sitter or cancel my trip. Thanks.

I love Warwick Animal Hospital! Dr. Echt is wonderful with my nervous basset hound. Everyone at the counter is super friendly and the vet techs are very kind and patient with my Peggy. Their prices are fair. Their appointment times are super convenient, especially if you have a hectic schedule. The facility is very clean. The waiting room set up is perfect, especially for my nosey pupper. I've had trouble in the past finding the right vet for my sweet girl, but not anymore! We will certainly be regulars here.

When my old vet became too hard to get in touch with, I began looking for a new vet and am very happy that I chose Warwick Animal Hospital. They're not the cheapest vet in the area, but I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and so far, each time I've visited, the care and attention provided has been well worth the cost. I've been fortunate to have had two of my pets seen by Dr. Belair and can't sing her praises enough! She's one of the most thorough, professional and compassionate veterinarian's I've met. She takes the time to listen to concerns and questions and offers thoughtful, reasonable recommendations. She's a doctor that you can trust and feel completely comfortable with, which is extremely important to me. Lastly, the convenience of their scheduling is amazing. Getting an evening appointment for your pet when you work a full time job is not generally an easy task, but thankfully Warwick Animal Hospital offers it! All vets aren't created equal, do yourself and your pet a favor and consider Warwick Animal Hospital! edit - I see some negative comments about the wait times. I don't know every specific situation, but I will say that it's important to understand that this place is also an emergency vet. That being said, during our appointment last night, Dr. Belair needed to leave to attend to an emergency which is entirely beyond the control of the hospital or the staff. In these situations it's important to put yourselves in the shoes of the pet owner who's pet is suffering the emergency and remember that you'd want the staff to drop what they're doing and save/attend to your pet, which is exactly what I saw.
