Knowledgeable, professional, caring and friendly staff insure that our first experience boarding our two dogs will not be our last; we first boarded a beagle and a terrier mix in November and have now reserved a stay for them in mid December. We toured Sakonnet before the November stay and were also pleased with the cleanliness of the boarding facility. We highly recommend Sakonnet!

I have been going to Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years. I have been bringing my 3 dogs (now ages 15, 11 and 5) to see the doctors there (Dr. Belinski and Dr. Hopkins) and have always received such top notch attention and care. 4 years ago I moved away from the Tiverton area but made the decision to keep bringing my dogs to Sakonnet (now a 40 minute drive) because I trust all the doctors so much. It's clean and accessible and the receptionists and vet techs are wonderful, too! Highly recommend Sakonnet.

She saved one dog's life by her rapid response to mushroom poisoning and has been a caring coach and caregiver. The Sakonnet Vets and their staff are an important part of our lives. We brought our puppy into Sakonnet Vet to be spayed. The facility is so welcoming and the staff made us feel right at home. She received excellent care and was on the mend from her surgery a couple of days later. I highly recommend Sakonnet Vet.

Our experiences with Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital have been wonderful. Every time we have had a medical issue with our Lab Baylee, the staff has been extremely helpful and responsive with getting us in to see a doctor to address her needs in a very timely manner. We have seen several of the doctors and have been pleased with the manner in which they consistently treat our pet as well as communicate the best treatment options available, etc. Baylee has also boarded at SVH where she has received special attention during pre and post operative periods. We feel very fortunate to have that level of expertise and compassion available for our pet.

I have been taking my dogs to Sakonnet Veterinary since the early 80's, love Dr. Condon and Dr. Rix the original partners. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and clearly love the animals in their care. Over the years I have lost a few pets and have had more than my share of emergencies and serious illness, but always knew my girls were getting the best care possible, and if they felt a specialist was needed they never hesitated to recommend making an appointment or taking a trip to Angell Memorial. Dr's Rix and Condon are semi retired now, but I love Dr. Hopkins, could not ask for a better veterinarian, smart, very up to date on new procedures/issues, and a great guy, and he will tell you like it is. Would never consider going to a different veterinarian.

I have been going to Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital since 1980 when fortunately they were they only vet practice open on a Wed. My puppy had accidentally gotten loose from a tether and gotten hit by a car. Dr. Condon put her broken and separated legs back together and she lived to be sixteen and a half. Her legs were functional until the day she died. I start by telling the reason why I started going to Sakonnet but the reason I stayed is because they have always been professional in treating my various cats and dogs. The building is clean and the staff always friendly and professional. Unfortunately I have had a few tough cases with my Huskies and they were diagnosed and treated compassionately by all members of the staff. Dr Rix the original co owner with Dr Condon is a kind and well educated vet that I am happy to say you cannot go wrong going to.

I have used the Sakonnet Vets for many years. My last yellow lab lived to be 15 years old and my present Lab (Maggie) will be 15 in March and still enjoying life with medication and lots of TLC. We love Dr. Rix and Maggie has been known to jump out of the car and run up the steps and right into the office. That says it all!!! Cele Halsey
