Nice, clean facilities. Friendly staff, who obviously care about your pet. Dr. Williams is awesome. Checking in/out can be a little slow.

I easily could've picked another vet closer to home for my dog, but it is completely worth it to drive 30min each way. NorthPaws has been nothing short of amazing since day 1. They have been extremely accommodating, especially in recent weeks/months since our dog has gone through treatment for heartworm. He likes to react and bark at almost every dog, so the vets let us in through the side door to make it less stressful. Everyone has done a great job at explaining the different medications Tiger has to take during this whole process. The staff at the front desk (I think I've gotten Missy most of the time) are always friendly. I would definitely recommend NorthPaws to family and friends!

Does not even deserve one star. Walked in at 6:15 with my dog who we think has a broken leg. They asked for a payment as soon as we walked in the door, barely asked us what the problem was. Let us wait with our 12 year old dog who is in pain and cannot walk just to tell us they don’t have enough time to treat her. Website says they will do anything to treat your pet and they didn’t help us out in anyway.

Probably the best animal hospital in the area. Now that we moved out of state, I really wish we had Northpaws next to our new house as we did here. The staff is very caring and thorough. When my cat ingested a bunch of elastics and I brought him here for surgery, the doctor wanted to keep a close eye on Clyde right after the surgery, she took him home with her to make sure he is ok before releasing him back to us. This place always goes the extra mile for your furry family members.

Brought my senior cat in, he was gagging, choking, not eating and hiding under the bed. They did x-rays and blood tests. They could not find the source of his throat distress because he wouldn't sit still to get a good x-ray of that area, but they did find that he had hyperthyroidism, which explained his recent weight loss. They gave him antibiotics and fluids to help with the undiagnosed portion of it, and medication to give him to help his thyroid. A few days later, he violently sneezed out a long, wide blade of crabgrass which had been causing his throat problems. Funnily enough, the doctor had told me that she suspected that could be the problem in the exam room. Ten days later, I can tell when I pick him up that he has gained weight and looks much better. They even called a few days later to see how he was doing, and he will be rechecked in two weeks so they can monitor his heart and his weight. They did such a good job helping my sweet ginger boy, I am very happy with them.

So I went to NorthPaws because I had an urgent issue with my senior aged dog and my usual vet isn't opened on the weekend. The staff was great and I paid considerably less than I thought I would be. My dog has a follow up visit in a week and I will probably be switching to NorthPaws for all my pets' vet needs.

The very best!!! Friendly, fair and professional. You can really tell how much they care :)

Wow. I made an appointment weeks in advance gave them the information to my prior vet to obtain the past records. Show up then they proceed to tell me they never obtained the information and they wont be able to vaccinate my dog. I don’t understand why not one person called me to tell me this prior. I have two small children and going out is very hard. Dragging a 120lb german shepard along doesnt make things easier. Very inconsiderate on their part i will not be going back here, i didn’t even get any sort of reminder call before heading up there. They calim to have a text system but i got no text. Poor first impression. A simple phone call prior to my appointment could have fixed this. Thanks for absolutely nothing

If I could rate this place less than 1 star I would. Let me start off by saying my puppy of 5 months old now has been put on prednisone for the last 4 months and a series or antibiotics. Since her initial first day there I tried to tell this vet that I had the assumption that my puppy had a food allergy. They pretty much shrugged me off saying that no "puppy" gets allergies which is completely asinine if you ask me. They immediately decided to put her on antibiotics and prednisone. She's had a series of ear infections, dry/itchy skin, facial swelling, and eye infections. They never once tried to put her on something less extreme like a hypoallergenic dog food to see if her symptoms resolved. Instead they constantly kept my 4 month old puppy on steroids! I took the puppy to a reputable dog dermatologist who was appalled when I mentioned how long they had kept her on these meds because they thought she had a case of juvenile canine cellulitis. (such bull****!) The dermatologist right away without me even saying anything about "food allergies" said that her symptoms were common with food allergies. Wrote her a script for a hypoallergenic dog food right away and things have seemed to improve thus far. Refrain from going to this veterinary care. All they care about is your money and literally having you pay every 2-3 weeks at least $150-$300. Literally the ONLY good thing about coming here are their hours of operation.

Very caring & helpful, wonderful staff & we have Dr. Mark Paradise........sent our dog birthday wishes on line.......very happy that we've changed from Northern R.I. after being with them for over 20 years!!!! They're all completely "losing" it there!!! "LOTS & LOTS OF REASONS"!!!!

Recently, we had to put our dog down of 17 years. Walking in and seeing friendly faces who were extremely soft spoken and empathetic of how such a hard day it will be was much needed. To the vet tech who was so gentle with her before, during, and after and also who remained calm, soft spoken, and had so much patience for us during the whole experience made a world of difference. Finally, to the doctor who also explained everything to us again and let us go at our own pace and was also patient and understanding helped us. Just a big, overall thank you for such a wonderful staff who made us feel so much better knowing we were leaving our dog in such wonderful hands who would keep her safe. The card and the framed paw print were not expected but were highly appreciated. To anyone who has to unfortunately suffer the loss of a pet, I highly recommend coming here.

Mikaela Tejeda

They let someone have my dog neutered without my permission.

Sydney Morgans

Dr.Dyer and Dr.Servasio have always been so caring to my Budgie Banana. I won't go anywhere else, I couldn't ask for a more understanding and patient staff as well. It's hard to feel comfortable having a small bird at the vet; but I can tell that everyone there cares about my bird and his well being. It's nice to know that every animal is treated with the same respect and love! In the future I will be bringing my dog for visits!

Too busy to properly diagnose a sick pet. I too got a second opinion and dog was actually dying. Dr. Paradise and Williams failed to help.

Lori A Jackson

They sincerely care about all of our cats and our bunny. But on top of that they also care about the pet parent’s. I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else

We recently lost our beloved cat, Mimi. It was a very difficult ordeal, but the staff at North Paws went the extra mile to make sure Mimi was taken care of and to assist with her euthanasia. As stressful as the situation was, we were treated wonderful. Today, we received a sympathy card with our cat's paw prints included. Very heartfelt and such a wonderful thing to do. We will forever be touched by the caring and kindness of the staff at North Paws. Thank you!

I cannot speak more highly of NorthPaws. Our dog is a rescue who loves to get herself into trouble, so we're frequent fliers. We've probably seen all of the vets at this point and all of them have been knowledgable and shown a strong continuity of care. Our family trusts NorthPaws completely and if you're looking for a new vet for your family, you can stop looking now.
