I have four toy poodles and a cat. I have been to a few veterinarians in the area and Dr. Allen is by far the best. She and the other staff at North Smithfield Animal Hospital are always friendly and clearly love animals and care about the work they do. Also, their prices are very reasonable when compared to other veterinarians in the area. Rare find and would highly recommend!

My dogs love going here. The staff is friendly and caring. The doctors are thorough, and always make time to answer all your questions. (This has been my family's veterinarian since I was a child. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.)

Love the staff and dr. Keene have never met a vet like her she is caring compassionate and loves her job everyday I could have never found of that that cares so much about her animals as she does. She calls you up at home to check on your animal not her staff herself and she also will continue to further check on blood work etc and if there is any abnormality she will call you to let you know if she found something extra and the price is by far better than any other place in this area and she will do things if the dog has to be under anesthesia and get all the other things done so you don't have to come back again which is great so the dog is not traumatized more than once. I love love love the staff and dr. Keene especially

I truly trust them with my animals! My Aunt worked there when she first became a vet. My other Aunt brings all of her animals there too for years now. She recommended them and I'm grateful I took her recommendation. They care and they really know what they're doing! Highly recommend going here!

Today was my first visit there, the staff was so friendly and helpful and answered any question I had. They went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% Informed on how to care for my animal. The staff was also very personable and made waiting and being there for some time actually pretty fun and they tried to set my cat at ease and actually got my cat to calm down while getting shots and made sure to be gentle with her. I really appreciated all there help and would recommend this place to anyone who cares deeply about there animals!<3

I love NSAH! My 3 year old American Staffy has been going there since she was 8 weeks old. Dr. Keene is thorough, loving, and extremely gentle. Kim, and all the others that care for her, are so patient and loving as well. Minnie gets nervous going in, but she gets lots of extra love, belly rubs, and of course cookies, to make her comfortable! I cannot say enough great things about the amazing care they provide. Their prices are reasonable too! Keep up the great work NSAH.

If I could give it a 0 or -5 I would. Support staff in this place is so rude, I have never experienced worse level of service. They should either be fired or trained extensively on how to talk to people and how to have manners. They act like they are not paid and doing you a huge favor. I am not going there ever again.

We have been taking our pets to NSAH for years and find them to be the best in the business! Over the years we have bred and shown dogs and have been through just about all the animal hospitals in the area.. Dr.Allen and the staff at NSAH are heads and tails above the rest, providing the best care for our animals. They take the time to listen and explain. They have proven time and time again that our animals health comes first and the billing second!! We appreciate everything they have done for our animals through out the years..

Staff is very personable and polite and they are all very good with the animals. Up until yesterday, may 16,2018 i loved this place and the staff but now i have changed my opinion. After being cluents there for 3 yrs, yesterday i rushed my dog there because he was having a seizure. I had him in my arms i was upset, i walked thru the door and receptionist blurts out we dont take emergency walk ins here you can try northern ri vet hospital and sent me on my way. Thankfully northern ri took me on emergency treated my dog and myself with loving care. I am no longer taking my animals to n. Smithfield animal hospitL i am switching to northern ri. I feel n. Smithfield was very rude and did not handle the situation very well.
