Called to have my dog seen as an emergency because they WERE my dogs vet. My dog came in from the backyard with his backside ripped open. They declined to see him saying they were closed in 20 minutes. Glad they care about our pets.

After many years of attending this veterinary clinic I was suddenly asked not to come in any more. I am only guessing it is the Breed of my dogs. They are Americans Bullies not the same thing as a “pitbull” however share many of the same features. Nobody told me this place was pitbull intolerant but I was sent a letter in certified mail saying me and my dogs don’t make for a safe work environment for their employees. Their was no incident. I was never asked to leave. Last time I was in there I had a rather charming conversation with the receptionist with the same name as my pup who was in there for a rabies shot. It was rather heart breaking to find out me and my bullies were t welcome in there. Honestly I hope the place goes out of business. They charged me 350 bucks for an ultrasound when my dog was 7 weeks pregnant and then came back and told me my dog wasn’t pregnant... two weeks later... turns out my dog was pregnant

We moved from Texas 3 weeks ago, my 12 yr old female corgi has chronic hepatitis & had a serious flare up. The clinic team were all awesome, kind, compassionate and patient. I called at 3pm & we were able to be seen same day. In addition the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend North Kingston Veternary clinic.

We were new in town and had not yet established a relationship with a vet. When one of our Golden Retrievers, Tiller, suddenly became very ill, they worked us in for an appointment right away. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and friendly. They treated Tiller with gentle and caring hands with a comprehensive treatment and he fully recovered very quickly. They even called the next day to see how he was doing! We hope to make this our regular vet when we are permanently settled in. Highly recommended!

This is, hands down, THE BEST place for all of my precious Ginger’s medical needs. The veterinarians, vet technicians, and office staff are always kind, caring, knowledgeable, and highly skilled in their work. I have total faith in their treatment of my elderly Rat Terrier, who has some serious health issues that are promptly and successfully addressed by NKAH. It has been a pleasure having such excellent partners in my baby’s care.

If you care about your pet like I do, this animal hospital is by far the best! I brought both my dogs here for check ups and was very pleased! My min pin is 7 years old and was looking very malnourished due to diabetes I brought him to 3 other vets before this place and finally hes gaining weight and is looking great again, thank you! My boxer is 10 years old dont like vets and he always needed a muzzle, until he came here, i trusted this team of vets to do his surgery and he is so happy and alert right after surgery, amazing, oh yah the surgery was a success and the price was more than fair! This place is by far the best!!!! Thank You North Kingstown Animal Hospital, you guys and girls are great!

On my last visit to North Kingstown Animal Hospital, the female veterinarian was so caring and competent with my 11 year old feral cat who was not well behaved. I highly recommend this hospital for all of your animals' needs. Their hours of business are very convenient for those working after 5:00 PM.

It good place but they are not patience. I brought my dog there they didn't give a time for the medicine to kick in to do the work on her that need to be done. So no work got done except clipping only two of her nails. What a waste time and money. They are also lazy.

I guess the best way to say this is I drive 35 minutes just to come to this veterinarian Hospital. Where I live there are three veterinarian hospitals that stink. I highly recommend North Kingstown Animal Hospital. They have a great staff. They are always super friendly, but most importantly is the veterinarian and shame on me for forgetting her name, but she is the best! If you have a pet that you love like mine I highly recommend bringing them to North Kingston Animal Hospital.

Kristoff has been seen by the doctors and staff at North Kingstown Animal Hospital for a couple of years, and we both could not be happier with the professional and gentle care we receive there. Everyone at NKAH is welcoming and so nice. The doctors and technicians are very professional, well-informed, and knowledgeable. This is also true of the people who greet you from behind the desk when you first arrive. There are many veterinarians closer to where I live, but I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes to receive the kind of care that the staff at North Kingstown Animal Hospital delivers. Extraordinary vet care and very, very reasonably priced.

I took my adopted dog there today Dr. Amy Hopper treated us like we were really an inconvenience to her because we have a high energy dog. She vaccinated our dog before giving him a blood test to make sure he was healthy enough to withstand the vaccines. It’s in my opinion that Dr. Amy Hopper should be fired for not having regard for our adopted dog Chase.

I want to give minus five stars to this place. They did things that were so unprofessional and rude. They gave my dog a test which could tell me nothing about my dog's illness. My dog had the test in another place already! I showed them my dog's record in the other clinic. But they still asked me to pay the money to do the test. They said the test's result would be ready in 1 day and they would call me when the result was ready. But they never called. I had to call them to get the results. The lady who answered the phone only told me that anything looked good, but could not tell me more details about what the test for. That's so interesting. I felt that their staff were not fully trained and they did not know what they were doing. When I wanted more info and wanted the lady to explain more, she became rude and declined to disclose more. Finally, she accepted that the test could NOT help me to know anything about my dog's illness. SO WHY DID YOU ASK ME TO DO THE TEST? If you want to waste your money in some tests that can tell you nothing about your dog, please go ahead to this place. Don't forget their staff probably underpaid and always unhappy and yelled at you! UPDATES: This place contacted Yelp and blocked my review on Yelp! Great job. Liars. SO DISGUSTING. Who would use real name on commenting? Who knows how would you treat me after knowing my real name?

I'm willing to drive 45 minutes to take my cat here whenever he is sick rather than trying to find a closer vet. I know they'll take good care of my boy. Prices comparable to anywhere else I've been, and they've been great getting us in whenever my cat has needed emergency visits due to complications with his diabetes. When he was first diagnosed they kept him until he was stable and eating on his own, which was a load off my chest

Great service and friendly staff. On two occasions had vet emergencies as a non-established patient and utilized their urgent care to get my pets much needed excellent care without the huge expense of an emergency vet. Also great prices on prescription food.

Their genuine concern for and sweetness to Lily--as well as the top-notch medical care they provided to her--gave her a great quality of life up until the very end. With this review, I am sending a very heartfelt, deep thank you to all of the vets, the technicians, the owner, and the staff, and I am also providing the highest possible recommendation for North Kingstown Animal Hospital. They care for your pets as if they were their own pets. You do not find that everywhere, and it is invaluable. They are the gold standard for animal care, and they have hearts of gold.

We've been using NK Animal Hospital for years, since we got our first dog. We love it there. My current dog has a lot of anxiety but they always give her lots of love and make her as comfortable as they can. She also used to have terrible stomach problems and they were always so helpful and fit her into the schedule when they could to check her out. Luckily she no longer has those problems and we only need to go for her check-ups/shots!

Heard good things about this place but do the vets here except Reptiles? I bought an iguana from Petco he’s about 1 year old? Not sure they didn’t tell me much of his age, recently he’s been making these weird clicking noises in his throat, dont know how to explain it but i wanna take him to a vet to see if they can figure out what’s wrong with him.

Good Doctors - extremely expensive service since Dr. Baumforth took a step back in the practice. Front desk is ALWAYS vague on prices until service is complete - then they want large sums for seemingly small time. Not what I would call a customer friendly practice for the last two years.
