Dr. Schoen is a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. His easy going manner is welcoming to his patients and their owners. Maci, our three year old cocker spaniel, became very itchy to the point her scratching would wake us up in the middle of the night. Dr. Schoen discussed various options with us and together we developed a treatment plan. By process of elimination, it appeared Maci's itching was due to environmental allergens and not dietary. Dr. Schoen prescribed a medication to immediately reduce the itching and recommended a course of action to help reduce the medication to the lowest possible effective dose. My husband and I were thoroughly pleased with how Dr. Schoen took the time to discuss with us the possible causes of Maci's itching as well as various treatment options. Additionally, we were impressed by Dr. Schoen's conservative attitude in prescribing medication by suggesting that we find the lowest dosage that was effective for treatment. We feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Schoen. His staff is as patient and supportive as he is. And Maci loves him!

Unfortunately we came here to put our 18 year old dog mersifully down. The staff was super kind and understanding. They gave her an ice cream sandwich while we waited. They gave us as much time as we needed with her before and after. They let us leave though a side door as to not have to pass by other patients and their families. Her remains were packaged up nicely and respectfully in a very nice urn. And a week later we received this card with her paw print and signed by the staff. For being such a sad moment in my family's lives; it was handled with so much care. And it is greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend Dr. Schoen and the staff at the Hill and Harbour Veterinary Center! My wife and I have a 7 year old chihuahua named Berkeley, who is a "handful" when it comes to his vet visits. We were amazed at how well Dr. Schoen and his vet techs were able to not only handle our little guy, but also tried to calm his nerves. In addition, we have been able to schedule our appointments with ease, the office is incredibly clean and the staff is attentive and welcoming. Dr. Schoen went above and beyond the call of duty when Berkeley was having some stomach issues...from squeezing him into the schedule and making sure we clearly understood the course of treatment, to follow up phone calls and even a special food delivery. It is clear that Dr. Schoen has put a lot of thought into all aspects of this Veterinary Center, making it a positive experience for the pets and their owners as well!

The staff is kind, thorough, attentive, and skilled. Dr. Packard is exceptional. She is detailed, thinks critically and carefully about each case, and takes your intuition and preferences as a pet owner into account. it is truly a collaborative experience. The facility is clean and inviting and they generally run on time. Perhaps a bit pricier than places we've gone in the past, but I feel I'm paying for high quality care. Very pleased.

We had an issue with our dog Bailey this morning. Spoke with the doctor and he had us bring her in right away. As ALWAYS, he took exceptional care of our dog today. He is completely thorough and EXTREMELY smart. He treats his patients like they are his own pets. He is kind, and compassionate and all of his staff are extremely helpful and professional. This is a wonderful establishment! I have been taking my dog Lola here for many years. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the doctors are incredibly knowledgeable. They have a great price range and I never feel as though I'm being sold things just for profit. Even though you can see they are always very busy, I never feel rushed or unwelcome. Love this place and everything about it!

The crew at Hill and Harbour Vet Center is fantastic and I would definitely recommend them for your dog(s) -- and cats too, I guess. We have two pugs and have been taking them to Dr Schoen since before he opened Hill & Harbour (when he worked close to our house). We have always been appreciative of the excellent medical care and considerate advice he has given them/us. Since opening Hill & Harbour, the service and overall experience has elevated to match that medical care. The only thing I wish was different about HHVC is that I wish it was close to home -- but it's worth the drive!

This is a team of people that cares immensely about animals. I know because I was once part of their team. Before moving to Florida I worked for Dr. Schoen. He is extremely knowledgable, loves what he does, and strives to make 'going to the vet' a better experience than many animals have had in the past. I learned a lot from him and the techs there. They dedicate so much time and energy to seeing that things go the right way every step of the way. Proper procedures for sanitation are always implemented. Patience and compassion for the animal they are treating is always a top priority. They have unexpectedly busy days/times but they do their best to space appointments out so that no customer feels rushed in and out. Most vet offices cram patients into 20 minute slots which affects the animal greatly when they have everyone rushing around them. This place reaches new heights everyday, strives for perfection, and is setting an example for the way vet offices should run.

I have been very happy with Dr. Springer at Hill and Harbour Veterinary Center and the excellent care that my cats have received from her. While I don’t know the rest of the staff at Hill and Harbour very well yet, we love Dr. Springer and followed her to HHVC from her last practice. She is wonderful and clearly cares very much about her patients. I always appreciate the extra time she takes to explain everything to me about my pets care.
