Had a great first experience with harbor animal hospital. From the helpful and friendly employees at the front desk to the vet assistants to the veterinarian himself. He was spot on with his diagnosis and my dog was doing better in no time. Prices were extremely fair as well. Which is always nice. Definitely my new spot for animal care. Going to try out the grooming services next. Great overall experience and highly recommend them.

I have been a client at Harbor Animal Hospital for about 16 years (maybe more?), practically since they opened in Barrington. I have 5 pets; 3 cats and 2 dogs. I trust the incredibly capable and caring staff and the fabulous doctors implicitly! Through minor problems and major surgery and the loss of aged beloved pets, they have always been there for me in every way. Dr.Cordy is a gifted surgeon and excellent diagnostician. I chose him over Ocean State on both occasions of necessary complicated surgery and would do so again without hesitation. I have referred many people to Harbor and every single one has been grateful.

Couldn't even get an appointment booked due to reception staff. It sounds like the veterinarians are great here, but their reception staff specifically the ones answering emails could use some skills in customer service. I live out of town so didn't want to use long distance to call... conveniently they had a 'book online' link on there website. Asked for an apt after dec 26, their response was to book me in on the dec 23. replied asking for after the 26...no response, I contacted them a few days later asking for an update and explaining alittle more of why i needed this specific day....no response. Frustrating but thankfully there are many more options in the area.

Harbor Animal Hospital is VERY clean!!!! The doctors, vet techs and front office staff are very patient, friendly & knowledgeable. Whenever I need to come in for an urgent problem i.e. "sick visit" the staff here usually can accommodate with an appointment on that same day or the very next day. When I bring my cat Portia there I know that my she is in caring, capable hands. I highly recommend Harbor Animal Hospital.

I made my appointment on line which was perfect. Confirmation was speedy. I have been going to HAH with my cats for some time now and it is always clean, neat, people and pet friendly and NO ODORS! The staff members confirm why my cat is there, spend the time with me in asking detailed questions about the cat's past year healthwise, and habits. Then they explain everything as they go along. Sadly, my cat has a fractured canine and very happily, they gave me my options and a detailed estimate of cost-printed out! I also get my cat groomed there because they are so wonderful with her. I am very happy all the way around with Harbor Animal Hospital and would most definitely, and highly recommend them. You will be very happy and your pet will be treated like royalty.

Harbor is awesome! They are so kind, caring and supportive to my rescue dog who is intimidated by most men and all strangers. When I have needed emergency appointments, they are most accommodating and their diagnostic and medical care has been top notch. They provide sage advice when treatments are necessary and advise against those treatments that are very costly and not worth doing. I am completely satisfied as a customer!

Really disappointed by my experience with this vets office. When I call, no one seems to know what's going on. Very real communication issues here. I've called 2-3 times in advance to make sure my cats medication is ready and correct, and shown up and they have no idea what I'm getting or where it is. Then I sit for 20-30 minutes waiting, and watch one patient after another come in and deal with the same issues. The veterinarians hours are very irregular so you may pay for a test with results in 24 hours and get a call back over a week later because no one is there to give you results. Really poor care.

Although I have only been going to Harbor Animal Hospital a short time, I swear by this facility. I have now brought 2 of my pets and each time I visit it is always apparent all of the employees genuinely care about the pets and their owners that enter . I unfortunately had to put my cat down one visit and each employee gave support and sympathy making my unfortunate situation a bit more bearable; Treatment which I have not received at other facilities. The prices are very reasonable and the cleanliness, friendliness/affection by staff makes the costs worth every penny and even more! I always feel fully informed and educated about my pets when I leave, and never pressured into making a specific decision about my pet's health. Harbor Animal Hospital has not let me down by any means, and has definitely raised my standards for other facilities - if I were to go elsewhere!

I can't recommend this hospital enough!! Everyone is so caring and helpful. I had to rush my African Grey parrot over there with no appointment and they were very nice about it. Dr. Cordy was very honest about the health of my bird, and, unfortunately, Rocco didn't wake up the next day. I was heartbroken and still am. I'll never forget that Dr Cordy came in on his day off to say how sorry he was about Rocco. I can't say enough good things about Harbor Animal Hospital! If and when I do get another bird, Dr Cordy will be his/her vet, for sure!!

I was very dissapointed in the care of my dear 16 yr old Russian blue Kitty . After several trips to Clinic and a diagnosis of diabetes I was just left with a very hefty vet Bill. The doc who was treating her left on temporary leave . I got no concern or assistance from the other doctor. I even asked for help by phone but was told the doctor would not talk to me unless I made an appt. It was difficult for me and my Kitty we would have very much appreciated some professional caring and help . Since then I found another vet and she is doing very well thank God. I got the assistance I needed there.

We used Harbor Animal Hospital to board our Old English Sheepdog while we were on vacation for 12 days. It was very stressful having to leave him somewhere, he is our baby. I have to say, we was very pleased with the experience. Facility is very clean, staff is friendly and there are webcams so you can watch the dogs playing in the inside play area. It was very important to us that he got out of his cage during the day. I will certainly use this facililty each time we need to board our dog.

I have been going to the Harbor Animal Hospital for about 6-8 months now bringing my little Pomeranian for several upper respiratory reasons.The patient's physical cost visits are comparable with others and but the affection the animals get is evident as I notice that Jazzie DOES NOT SHAKE WITH FEAR when I take her there. I can't tell you how wonderful they are to the patient (Jazzie) and her grandmother, (me). I also have Jazzie groomed there and the groomer is wonderful--she treats Jazzie like her own and the grooming prices and VERY REASONABLE, having been to others in the past. My two dogs went to see Dr. Cordy and he wrote antibiotics but at CVS and Wal-Mart are asking 500 bucks for it. Since, the office stated they don't have the antibiotic on hand and I'm forced to wait additional three days. So I have no choice and got them at CVS for 330 bucks. I will never come back. I rather go see vet where there medications on hand which cheaper than going to CVS and Wal-Mart.

Harbor Animal Hospital is a good resource to come if your pet is sick. I like being able to specify one veterinarian all the time so he gets to know my dogs but if he isnt there, I can still be confident with the others. The new place is bigger than before so they can do more. The prices are high but unfortunately so are any other vets around the area........the way of the world these days. But they are trustworthy for my dogs who I love very much and would not trust just anyone with their care. It is not difficult to get an appointment if you need one quickly which is a big plus. The wait time can sometimes be long which is probably because they make the appointments close together so that is really my only objection.

Compassionate, kind, and caring Vet Dr. Cordy. as well as his staff. A difficult time with our 14 year old dog, Sandy . We struggled with a decision for surgery vs putting her down. Dr. Cordy was patient and very empathetic. He made our dog very comfortable and processed the decisions with us. We had a horrible experience at Bay State previously. Dr. Cordy coordinated care with Mass RI Veterinary E.R., also wonderful staff and Vet there. We are sad that in the end our Sandy had to be put down but she was comfortable and loved. Harbor Animal Hospital is what all Veterinary Hospitals should be like.

I boarded my little tea cup yorkie at Harbor and would only do it because they were so thorough and careful. They required a hands on examination with the veterinarian, a flu shot and a kennel cough shot. The facility was so clean and they had three play sessions a day with my dog. One year ago I would give Harbor five stars, but unfortunately most of the daycare staff has left over the last few months and the front desk staff as well. Too much turnover in staff, understaffed daycare, I was really sad to pull my dog out but I was concerned about the lack of trained staff and staff in general. Hopefully they can turn things around.

I went to Harbor Animal Hospital with my sister and her dog when he was sick a few months ago. It was my first experience there. I am a vet tech from california and have seen and been to every vet hospital from smelly holes in the wall to very high tech beautiful hospitals. I am very choosy and very particular when it comes to where I take my pets because I've seen it all. I have to say I was VERY IMPRESSED with Harbor! It is very clean, the front desk staff was very nice and Dr Cordy Was a very nice Dr. I recently adopted my own dog and it was not a hard decision where I should take my Baylee for her first exam. I highly recommend Harbor Animal Hospital!

I am a proud parent of 2 cats, now only 1. My oldest cat began acting funny, almost like he was drunk. A friend suggested to take him here. After some tests, Dr. Cordy found out that he had high blood pressure! A cat! Thanks to the Dr. and the wonderful staff, with the help of medication, I was able to keep my cat going for another 2 years. We came to Harbor Animal Hospital for our first visit as an emergency visit for our 12 year old golden retriever who needed immediate surgery for a ruptured spleen. They took excellent care of her (and her crazy owner who requested photos overnight post-surgery) and referred us to an oncologist for treatment for her hermangiosarcoma, which ultimately took her from us in July. We finally got a puppy and have since returned for care for our new addition. Dr. Cordy is awesome, loves goldens, and is incredibly well-read and researched on various topics relating to allergies and other canine care. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and took care of every detail including loving our pups throughout the visit. Highly recommended!

I board my two dogs here whenever I travel - wouldn't take them anywhere else. The facilities are wonderfully clean, there are indoor and outdoor play areas, the kennel people are terrific - they send e-mails and photos during my dogs' stay. It's not inexpensive but it's worth it for the peace of mind.

Recently I boarded both my beagles at Harbor Animal Hospital for 8 days in October and I was very satisfied with their services. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my beagles while they were there. They were able to play at Doggie Daycare each day which kept them busy thorough out the day while they were there and I was able to view them on their webcam which put my mind at ease while I was away. I have been a client of Harbor since they opened in Barrington 15+ years ago. Wade is a good vet and has been great with my two dogs, but the business side of Harbor is awful! Back in March, I called Harbor at 3:30pm as my dog had a severe laceration and needed to be seen and was told that they had no room for an emergency and to call the 24 Hr. emergency Vet office-okay- long term client here in need of service and you blow me off? Noted. A couple of months ago, I called to order Nextgard, and I was told they don't carry it anymore- "they don't sell enough of it"- okay- I guess I'll switch to Advanitix, Saturday I called to order Hartgard- (the most common heart worm med.) and was told they were out of stock, when I asked when they would be receiving their order, I was told "that they had no idea when it would be arriving". I then said okay, I'll need a prescription then because I can't wait - I was told "Oh- there is a 24 hr. notice policy for prescription requests " - Huh? okay- WHAT awesome customer service!!!! So, to make it even worse, The on-line pharmacy won't accept copies via the internet for the prescription, so they called contacted Harbor and they were told Harbor's policy is for the customer to mail the prescription in. Again, awesome customer service at Harbor- NOT!! If you want to be treated POORLY by RUDE, in-experienced people who have no clue about customer service- by all means go to Harbor Animal Hospital and get treated poorly. It's not just about good bedside manner and animal care but it's also about running a good business.

I was refereed to them by a family member when my 13 year old boxer had issues walking all of a sudden. They took her right in and treated her. Everyone was extremely nice friendly and caring. She was treated now she back to her normal self. I would highly recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone I know in the area.
