On Dec 8th 2018, I had to take my cat Zoe in for an emergency. She was seen by Dr. Jessica Rizzo & Jennifer. My husband & I received devastating news that day, our beloved cat Zoe of 15 years was very ill & we made the tough decision to let her run free. I can tell you how sweet Jessica & Jennifer, they were so caring & comforting. Today we picked up her ashes... Thanks so much for the paw-prints. Thank you Dr Rizzo & Jennifer, you made a very difficult time... comforting, Please don't ever lose that <3

I had a horrible experience. There all about the money. Took my dog had to pay 350 and didnt even fix the problem. I wouldnt bring your pets to this place . you wont get any results. My dog still in pain. Dont waste your time. There all for the money

KUDOS to your awesome staff and service! Dr. Rizzo and Paul were so professional, efficient and skilled at handling my 100 lbs aggressive ( only at the vet) rottweiler. Shes been tossed around between 2 other well known veterinary clinics in the area that have been unsuccessful at properly treating her. Your staff approached her without fear and with a gotta get it done attitude. We appreciate how quickly you were able to schedule her visit and how reassuring you were to us that there are defenitly options out there for dogs like mine who behave very badly in the office. You didnt chastise us for being irresponsible dog owners or make us feel bad about how she acted out. So, THANK YOU very, very much for such a positive experience when we have had SO many previous negative ones....

never been there until i noticed little dogs running around loose. went in to tell someone had to yell to get someones attn. they got out no one knew theu were asking me if those were my dogs. no clue vet seemed confused .

Just came home from there, my small dog was treated for stomach pains. They were very professional and got me in the same day. The vet and vet techs were very polite. They treated my dog with a lot of respect and they seemed to really care. The prices were reasonable. Will be going here from now on.

This place use to be the BEST place ever to take your pets. My dog was taken there when she was a puppy 13 years ago, the original doctors were the best!! The new owners are money hungry snakes!! They charge you crazy prices with poor bed side manner!!! I had to put my dog to sleep and she couldn't go to her normal vet for this process because the prices were so high. The ONLY person within this organization that was at all sympathetic was Bill who answered the phone. I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend this place to anyone. Unprofessional, highway robbery for prices and uncompassionate with the pet owners!!!!!! Please DO NOT go here you will regret it!!

Dr. Munson has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with our French Bulldog! Our baby had been sick for WEEKS and we went to SEVERAL different veterinarian hospitals/clinics and we could not figure out what was wrong. No other Doctor took the time to hear our concerns. Dr. Munson took the time to hear us out, explained our options and was so wonderful with our Fiona. She has even called a few times after our visits to check up on our baby and to see how things were going. So glad we found her!

Brought our older dog in for an exam with short notice because he just wasn't acting himself. Tyler was so caring, thorough and extremely helpful! He made us and our pup feel comfortable and answered any of the questions that we had. It's reassuring to know that the staff members actually care about the pets!

Gansett Animal Hospital has always been wonderful . I have been bringing My Baby Bella there for over 7 years since she was a puppy and first brought home . All of the veterinary Doctors are great , caring , and always explain everything with great detail . Thankfully I haven't had many health issues with my baby except allergies which they are still working on getting me a cure for ! Also all the Vet techs are really very tentative and caring . I always tell anybody if they need a great Vet , go to Gansett !

Our chocolate lab began with seizure 6 weeks ago an a Sat. night around midnight Gansette like most Veterinary "Hospitals" wasn't open. Which was fine we took the drive to Ocean State in East Greenwich who would get 10 stars if I could! We had multiple visits with the neurologist at Ocean State and tried to adjusted or pets medications. Good success for the last 5 weeks. Dr. Munson would check in with us quite regularly (She's great). This last week we deteriorated quite significantly and saw Dr. Munson for blood work. Everything for the most part was fine. This past Saturday morning our girl developed vomiting and incontinence of urine, and was very unsteady on her feet. She would face the wall when trying to walk and not be able to turn herself around. Took her outside and had to hold up while she tried to poop. We knew the time had come to put her down. We called Gansette Animal Hospital and explained the situation to the receptionist. She said they could squeeze us in on Monday. I explained we didn't thing she would make it to Monday and thought she might be in pain. She again said Monday was the best they could do. I told her this isn't right we have been using them for the last 20 years, multiple dogs. She said we could take her to the walk in and gave me the number. I hung up and called Ocean State (who doesn't do regular visits emergency only) they said when would you like to bring her in. It was a very sad day. We will never use Gansette Animal hospital again. After 20 years of bringing animals to them, and on one of the hardest days, putting down our baby, they couldn't have cared less about our family member suffering.

Had to put our girl down. The staff at Gansett are caring, compassionate, wonderful people. It was the worse day ever. From the moment I spoke to them on the phone until we had to pick her up the following week, they were so kind. This is not our regular Veterinarian but they were close by and they stepped up and helped our little girl. I won't soon forget how compassionate they are and how well We were treated. I'll miss out "Dewey" for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Gansett. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

On june 15th i had to put my baby of 17yrs to sleep, the doctor was amazing answering all of our questions, her assistant was also wonderful, they let us stay with Angel for as long as we wanted, been coming here for years & not one complaint. Thank you to both of them, God bless
