Here you will see the opinions of people who consume the services of Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic (Veterinarian) near Rhode Island.
To this day the business gets a rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 45 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is really high, and it is based on a very large number of opinions, so we may be pretty sure that the assessment is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian corresponds to the category of Animal hospital.
This place is great. They took my cat at last minute. They were very friendly and the facility was really clean. The veterinarian was very friendly and explained what had to be done and also gave us the price before doing any treatments. The day after they even called to check in and see how our cat was doing. Definitely seems like they actually care about you and your pet.
Called with a simple question about my dog and explained it in detail. Got put on hold. Someone new came back and asked 'is this for George?'....don't have a dog named George. Got put on hold again. A third new person came on and started discussing a cat with me. Sad...sad.....too many hands in the pot.
outstanding staff that put your pet first. Dr. Brown is one of a kind, that goes over and above everything she does. I cant thank her enough for getting our dogs through a very hard time. highly recommended, they care for all three of our dogs. Diva, Tyra and Zeus Richard
They're always friendly, extremely helpful and passionate about helping pets. However, they do not always explain miscellaneous costs.
They always take great care of my 2 boys, I'm super thankful that they offer reasonable prices for ferrets. Everyone there is always super friendly!
Our rescue pup can be nervous around other dogs and new people, and we were so nervous to bring him to his first visit but they were incredibly accommodating. They are so kind, respectful and always make sure we understand everything 100%. Our pup had to have part of his tail amputated and he had no complications. They kept us updated the whole day and took such good care of our furbaby! I have nothing but good things to say!
Brought in dog with life-threatening trauma last Sunday afternoon. First - they were open. Second - they saved the dogs life! The surgical team who operated on him later down at the full animal hosp said the vet at Compassionate Care did "amazing job" treating him, they "could not say enough good things" about her surgical work in stopping his bleeding and then stabilizing him for transport down to them.
Our elderly dog was sickly, so we were referred to this vet. I was impressed by the warm welcome by the staff and cleanliness of the office. The vet had a great bedside manner, and did the necessary preliminary tests to exclude certain diseases...prescribed a medication, however after nearly 2 weeks symptoms didn't get better. We had to return, and ultimately were told that it was likely something much serious, and very costly. We had to come to a decision to put our dog down. The vet and assistant were very kind, nurturing and compassionate during the visit and allowed us to spend as much time as we felt was needed before/after with our beloved dog. I was so happy we decided to go here instead of the place we use to go for annual visits....the level of care was bar none. Thank you compassionate care for professionalism and the sympathy card you sent was greatly appreciated too.
When my dog was very sick we took her here and they told us we had to put her down. They gave us time with her and help us through the process before anything happened they showed us all the details.
The best! absolutely the best. Compassionate care are not only compassionate to your pets, but they are compassionate to you as well. I have referred many of my friends to compassionate care, and they are the best in the state in my opinion.
The care and consideration provided by Compassionate Care is second to none. Made a really hard day a lot easier. So professional. I thank them and O'Malley does, too.
I would not even give this place one star. We took our cat for an emergency visit nearly an hour before they closed, and they refused service to her. Online it says that they are open until 11 PM, but the closed sign was already on their door and they were mopping their floors at 10:15, as if they were hoping to close and go home early. My problem is that they advertise being an emergency veterinary service, but denied service when we did have an emergency. We then proceeded to call after returning home and they said they were "emergency by appointment," which does not make much sense. I am sharing my experience to help others choose a better veterinary clinic- one that is more caring and concerned about the wellbeing of your pets.
Wonderful caring staff. They were kind and gentle with my elderly dog. The vet clearly explained what was going on and gave me options for treatment.
Our oldest cat wasn't well, and our regular vet was too busy to see us - but when we described his symptoms (his right paw was swollen to twice normal size, and looked totally freaky), she said we should get him looked at right away. She recommended Compassionate Care. The place was very clean, the people were VERY friendly and nice, and they got things done quickly. The care they provided was excellent, and pulled our old boy out of his crisis. It's really good to know that Compassionate Care is available in a pinch!
I would like to thank Dr. Farrington and all of her staff, for the personal and professional care given to my Mom and her Husband with the passing of both of their beloved dogs on the same day. I cannot put into words how genuinely caring and kind you and your staff were to both of them. You made a very difficult day a little easier, and put their minds at ease about the difficult decisions they had to make. Thank you, and bless you for what you do every day. They have also taken great care of my "problem child" and i say that lovingly.. as well as my other pup for the last 5 years.
Appropriately named. The whole staff is there for you when you bring your pet in.
Great Vet! Highly recommend!!
Very pricey for subquality service. Don't recommend this practice for any pet.
The best vet we have used thus far. Very caring vets and staff as well as reasonable rates AND hours that work with busy schedules. A really kind touch is the burning candle when a family is taking a pack member to the rainbow bridge request quiet and calm. It's always the little things.
Very caring and understanding. I guess with most vet clinics, the expense of care is high. So, sometimes we experience "sticker" shock. However, the doctors and staff are great.
They are fantastic!! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet.
The veterinarians and staff at CCVC are amazing! I have been using them since they opened in 2008. They live up to their name as they have shown much compassion when dealing with emergency situations and being there to support me as I have dealt with the loss of a beloved pet.
Very impressed with the staff and doctor. Soo very nice and explained everything thoroughly. This was my first visit and I am very pleased with the experience. Highly recommend!!
Extremely thorough doctor, answered questions in plain English, even explained procedures in detail. Very friendly very helpful A++ Edit: docs are still extremely on point, they figured out my pup probs real quick, he feels better already
All the docs are great and the staff is excellent...
Love the care we have received there!
Great pet care. Friendly, helpful staff. Total confidence in all the doctors. Love this place...top notch!
They're very kind and answer questions. I have a 18 year old dog and they understand the elderly needs
Have been twice, with two peta in emergency situations. Staff was caring and helpful in understanding options and costs. Thank you for your compassionate Care!
Fantastic staff
Took my dog here for months with issues with her feet also asked about why her nipples didn't look right was told her nipples are just ugly looking nothing wrong with them and her feet they said just had a infection well after a biopsy blood work pills and the visits came to over $2000 and she never got better . Went to another vet to have a 2nd opinion and come to find out my dogs nipples are ugly because she's riddled with cancer tumors as well as tumors in her feet and the dog had a small stroke they didn't pick up on 2 months ago my dog is now dying because of this place do not go her ever they also never sent in the biopsy I paid for witch would have certainly indicated cancer robbed me for over $2000 and my heart is dying because of there neglect
They helped me right away it was 2 days before Christmas and they were so so great. They even took money off the bill for me. They are great if they were closer to me I would be bringing my fur baby there. 5 + stars love them.
I've had 2 of my 4 legged family members taken care of here the vet explains everything good and bad and they took care of my dog that needed emergency surgery. I had taken my other dog to east Greenwich for the same surgery and it cost 6 grand which I paid without question when my other dog had the same problem someone told me about compassion and they were close to my home they did the same surgery for 18 hundred and she great the 2 dogs surgery were 3 yrs apart. They don't keep you waiting in the waiting room and the care and after care is great. I just think people should check around for a good vet when they bring there 4 legged family members into there home.
For my small dog having a Sunday emergency, I feared the vet expence was going to be astronomical. But it wasn't, it was more than reasonable. So much so, they are now my new vet for both dogs. They were beyond friendly, very thorough and highly informative. Thank you for fixing my Boogah. We will be in soon with Charlie.
I've been taking my cat here since I adopted him. I've always been pleased with the quality of care and their ability to deal with my little buddy. He's a very peaceful loving cat...until you touch certain areas, which are of course all the spots a vet needs to touch. He has been in for regular checkups as well as an an emergency appointment on a Saturday for a UTI. I called shortly after they opened, described his behavior, and they said to bring him in right away. As soon as I walked in they announced his arrival and took him for evaluation. The cost was reasonable and he's been happy and healthy since.
