We came up for vacation and our bulldogge, Joey, was sprayed by a skunk on the first day. After scrubbing him down, his skin developed a rash that was worsening each day. I called for an appointment and the receptionist fit us in that same afternoon. When we arrived everyone was very friendly. Simone and Dr. Corey were terrific in helping Joey. In less than 24 hours, Joey's skin improved with the medications that were prescribed and he is back to his happy self! Thank you all at Atlantic Animal Hospital!

Witches Journey

This vet is terrible and doesn't even deserve one star. After spending thousands on my dog's ear infection, that wouldn't go away, they finally said, we need to test the bacteria in his ear. What? They also gave him a rabies vaccination and never gave me the tag or the paperwork. I had to request this several times. 6 months later, I finally received it.

We were on vacation and our family dog was hit by a vehicle, they were very accommodating! We were scheduled the same day and the staff were exceptional! Dr. Segall and his staff were professional and empathized with our predicament. I highly recommend this vet practice to those on vacation and need immediate help , as well as, those who live in Rhode Island!

Great care for our animals. We we're taking our cat for another option and after thousands of dollars of tests at other vet they found the cause of the illness in one visit and $40 a month medication. They saved his life and gave him quality of life back.

Exceptional care for my extremely fearful (of vets) pup. I brought him here because he became so fearful at our other vet he would not get out of the car anymore. He certainly wasn't happy, but he tolerated a thorough physical exam. The staff is well versed in behavior and knew just what to do with him. Once he was done, he happily performed tricks and practiced muzzle training while we waited to check out because you never know when you will need one! Especially at the vet with a fearful dog. When dogs are sick/injured/in pain they can lash out with their teeth and having him prepared ahead of time for that extra stressor of the muzzle is one less thing he would need to deal with in the future.

High quality, high cost. They're holistic and popular, but it can add up. My small dog needed one tooth pulled. They wanted to put him under, give him a bunch of novocain, and some other strong sedative. That's two more than I get from the human oral surgeon for much worse. And at the cost of a root canal just to pull it! I know they have to put them under for dental work, and I don't want him to be in any pain, but I could never afford to spend all that on one tooth... So he could be in more pain, because I couldn't get it done at all.
