Always wonderful. The staff and vets love the animals and they are well organized and clean. I've taken 6 pets over at least 15 years and they are still my go to vet. My only complaint is that as of now they don't have a vet that sees rabbits

I absolutely love Queen Village Animal Hospital!! Everyone was very kind and compassionate from the ladies at the front desk to the vet and her assistant.They were very kind and patient with my dog they made her feel comfortable and calm, which is very hard for a dog with anxiety.They explained everything thoroughly and not only took care of my dog but gave me helpful advice.If you are looking for a great vet this is definitely the place to go!!

Dr. Collada literally saved my cat-son’s life! He had to have emergency surgery and the doctor rearranged his surgery schedule and stayed late so that his life was not jeopardized. He even called me late at night after the surgery to let me know how it went. He was also very considerate that I may incur more charges if I were to go to Penn Vet ER, and took care of my cat-son overnight at his facility, which he really did out of generosity and love for animals. He even went back in the middle of the night just to check on him. I absolutely respect him for his skills and his kindness. Thank you very much.

I'm sure there are good vets here, but we have had several experiences with a poor level of service from the doctors. One of our other dogs was mis-diagnosed and another doctor seemed uncomfortable giving shots. Of the 8 times what we went there, half of the experiences were less than acceptable. We are thankful that Penn Vet started an out-patient community clinic.

Had nothing but good experiences here over the last year and a half. In particular Dr. Yallof, Dr Freeman, and Dr Greiner have all been super helpful and and knowledgeable. All of the techs and office staff are polite and on top of things. They even give you quarters for the parking meters out front.

My family has been taking our pets to Queen Village for as long as I can remember. (at least 15 years - I'm only 24) The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility is very well maintained and meticulously clean. Occasionally I have been caught waiting for up to an hour past my appointment time, but this is only because the staff is so meticulous about making sure that they render the best service possible that they occasionally will end up spending longer then the time they allotted on each appointment, putting them behind schedule. Honestly, even though it can be an inconvenience, it is worth the wait to get the level of care that they deliver when it becomes your time to see one of their veterinarians or assistants. The only negative thing I can say about this vet is that they are one of the more expensive ones that I have tried. (I went to several others when I first got my cats in college to save money) Despite the somewhat higher cost of using this vet, I really think that the price is well worth it due to the far superior facility, staff, and overall experience I have had here. The fact that I went back to them after having found several other cheaper options should speak very loudly about how I feel about Queen Village Animal Hospital. Overall, a great vet. I have not found a better one. If I had, I would be going there instead. I hope this helps. -Will

Before I moved to Philly, I had an amazing vet in San Diego who really knew his stuff. When I moved here, I went to 10 different vets trying to find a new one whom I really trusted, but was not really being impressed by anyone. Finally I read some reviews about Queens Village Animal Hospital that sounded good, so I tried it. I saw Dr. Goldener, and he has been great. He seems very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer questions and solve the problem at hand. I feel really relieved to have someone I can go to, if one of my dogs has an issue. I highly recommend him. Also, the prices are much more reasonable than a lot of the other vets around, who aren't nearly as good.

They are nice. My only complaint is that it takes a while to get an appointment. i was told that they have a lot of patients and that they have become very popular. Also, you never get to see the same Veterinarian. So they aren’t familiar with your pets health information every time.

These guys are always great, they care about animals and it shows. We used to order our prescription food for out pets, (3 dogs, 3 cats!) online, but now just order from here, price is close and they always are helpful when I am running behind. We also foster and adopt out about 15-25 kittens annually, and they always come to QVAH for their checkups and when they need shots or get a cough. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about these guys.

We've been going there for a long time and wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Wellens; they don't come any kinder or knowledgeable.Dr. Maguire; knows his stuff and is a gentle, lovely person. We trust them completely with our darling pets. The facility is clean and the assistants are very helpful and kind. They have other doctors but our experience is with the above mentioned two. We couldn't ask for more. We feel quite fortunate to have them available for the care of our cats.

Our dogs get excellent care from the staff at Queen Village Animal Hospital. Our little Chihuahua had to have his front leg removed because he had a cancerous tumor on his elbow. They did such a good job. He healed up super fast, and the sutures were down very carefully.

I took my rat here because the small animal vet at Girard is away for the month and they recommended Queen Village. The wait was longer than expected because they were running behind, but otherwise I would recommend this animal hospital to other pocket pet owners. The small animal doctor on call (Dr. McGuire) did a thorough physical exam of my rat, and even though the news was bad, he delivered it kindly and honestly, and he took the time to discuss my options. The vet technician was also knowledgeable and able to answer the questions I had about medication. The hospital was very clean and the prices were fair ($55 for the checkup without medication at the time I visited). Update: A week after visiting our rat did have to be put down (she had an inoperable brain tumor that developed quickly) so my spouse and I brought her back to Queen Village. They were able to schedule a same day appointment and the vet and vet tech who were there to do the procedure were incredibly kind and compassionate, providing us with tissues and space to be with our girl as she passed. A week letter we received a hand written condolence card from the hospital. We will definitely be using Queen Village in the future for our pets.

I've been taking my cat here regularly and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating to my pet's needs. My cat had some issues with itching and the veterinarians and staff were incredibly friendly and listened to what I had to say. I had tons of questions and everyone was patient and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend taking your pet here!!

I can't review the Drs or the care, as I never got that far. I had called to inquire about an ultrasound and was told that I can schedule one when necessary. When I called back to schedule, I was told that I had to make an initial appointment and then schedule an additional imaging appointment. When I asked if we can schedule both at the same time i was told that was not how they schedule the appointments. After stating that I had already called and was told that I can schedule directly, I was told to contact Penn or VSEC. The undue attitude that the woman gave me, on the phone, is enough to turn me off from their business and write this. Below is a direct quote from their website that contradicts everything that the lady on the phone condescendingly told me: "With the addition of our advanced portable ultrasound machine, what was once reserved for a visit to a specialty emergency center, is now capable to be incorporated into your pet’s general exam. For more in depth cases, full diagnostic ultrasounds with one of our full-time associates, can be arranged most days of the week either by appointment or by drop-off." I don't understand why the attitude was warranted for a request that their website states is commonplace, even for a drop-off...

Those old reviews about callous front of house staff are spot on. Never try talking to these people. Even just small talk will trigger them to lash out. The only reason why I don't give them 1 star is because of the amazing vets. Dr. Yallof is amazing and tries really hard for your pets. I would easily give her 10 stars if I could! Why does she have these terrible people working the front office? I'm sure there are tons of young college students who would love to take their jobs!

Queen Village is exceptional. All of my dogs have their vets there, and one of them gets happy and excited when we say to her, "Wanna go to the doctor, wanna see your doctor. " The staff is very good with the animals ; very kind and thoughtful and they take their time. Unfortunately, we had to put down two of our dogs, (both for heart failure in old age), even then the doctors were great ; private time both before and after, and very compassionate and gentle. Five
