Thanks to the staff my dog walked up the stairs a couple of weeks ago which he hadn't done in 3 months! He couldn't even walk to the bathroom or drink from his water bowl without assistance. I honestly thought he would never walk up he stairs again. My Cooper is better health now then he has been in the past year. If you are considering physical therapy, this is the place to get it. It was worth every penny and it was cheaper than PVSEC. Go TEAM KVETS!!!

Just the place I was looking for my dog. The staff are understanding to your pets needs and what they can do. Was so glad to find a place to take my pest that practice eastern and western medicine. Sad my pet has to have surgery, but the cost is so much more reasonable than the other referred places. You will love them, too! Going thru the rehab program with your dog is a great experience. The girls teach you what you can do everyday to help your dog get back on her feet. This whole experience is a process designed to give your dog the foundation to a better recovery. My dog still has to be more confident in using her leg but she is so much more ahead of the game than she was before. She loved the doggie treadmill and wished her brother was there to do the agility, but she made it thru! Getting her a life jacket for her to use in the summer to swim in the pool! Woo hoo!

Have brought several of my cats here, will bring the rest as they need care. Three of the Drs are trained in holistic veterinary medicine, so we can choose various pathways to alleviate symptoms, and hopefully solve the root of the problems. I am trying herbs and pheromones for an anxious cat. Dr. H. took time to explain how vaccines are now safer than in the past, as I have heard of serious problems. The vets and staff seriously love animals, and they enjoy getting to know their patients.

We moved to Greensburg 2 1/2 hrs ago and was told about KVETS. We needed a local vet and they have been great with our 2 doxies. We have one with cancer now and thought we were losing him yesterday and they took us right in and have already followed up with 2 phone calls. He is ok for now by the way. We have had three cats there over the last two years....each one had clean bills of health from their previous vet. Seeing that our cats were just not right, we took them to K Vet. They not only told us that our cats have had certain diseases....but also showed us they were misdiagnosed by our previous vet. Our cats are happier now and we would recommend K Vet to anyone in search of a caring veterinarian. The staff is kind, patient and loving. They explain all Options. They have alternative medicines as well. Even massage and water therapy. Couldnt ask For a more rounded vet in the area.

Phenomenal place... I have been to 2 other vets in the area and K.Vet surpasses with care and knowledge by a landslide. They offer both Eastern & Western Medicine approaches. We went for the Eastern Medicine approach. Dr. Konegger solved months worth of skin irritation and digestive issues with our bully that we couldn't figure out with previous vets, that only wanted to shoot him up with drugs. She took so much time on our first visit getting to know him and me as well. (He loves her)...2 years later he has been great and has no issues per her advice. It is not the cheapest place around but you get what you pay for... and in their case that's 5 star quality care and expertise.

K-Vet is the very best vet in the area! I highly recommend them to everyone! Dr.K is a wonderful caring vet who really takes her time with her patients and their humans, she gives options that include traditional medicine as well as natural, and alternative medicine. In the past few years K-Vet has grown exponentially but the quality of the staff remains top notch! The only way K-Vet could be better is if Dr.K was a people dr as well.

I called Kvets because my dog had been failing mentally and physically and my vet was out of town. The girl I spoke to was very nice over the phone and explained everything thoroughly. We arrived at our appointment time and both Hanna the tech and Dr Wong couldn't have been nicer. They were very supportive through the whole process and very professional. I loved that they had a home cooking recipes for dogs book right in the room and asked me about my dog's diet. I'm a big believer in food being #1 key to health. Another vet misdiagnosed my dog's leg and had me exercising it, which hurt her, and made it worse. Dr. Barnhart diagnosed it properly and Dr. Halden was great working on her with chiropractic care. Staff was respectful and kind.

I think the prices for services are in range of most other good veterinary services in my past history with other providers. My dog was near death this past January and Dr. K has made every effort to get him well again with lots of follow-up as well as my input. I would highly recommend K-Vet for your pet(s). Recently I had to end the suffering of my beloved pomeranian Ginger from lung cancer. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do and the compassion and care that myself and my pet received couldn’t have been any better from the front desk people to Dr. Barnhart and the vet tech. I am currently taking my elderly chihuahua there and he is being treated by Dr. K and she is also compassionate, caring and calming. While she was out of the office an emergency arose with my dog and Dr. H saw him and also helped out tremendously to treat and put my mind at ease with any concerns. I can be relentless with questions which means a lot of phones calls to them about my pets cause I love and care for them so much but I have always been treated with respect and received answers quickly. No words can express my love for kvet. Even though they are pricey, they love each and everyone of my animals I bring in. Today, I broke down crying in the office because my stray cat I took in off the street, Nala, was tested positive for FIV. I was assured by the vet that she will live a happy long life. Dr Konegger even went as far as saying WE will make sure that she stays healthy as can be. Words can not describe how full my heart was to hear that. I am never in these things alone with Kvet. These people are God sent & I can not thank them enough. UPDATE; unfortunately Nala only got more sick from another disease & had to be put down, this was the hardest thing in my life. Dr. Wong assured me I was making the right decision & comforted me for the euthanasia . Hannah, the vet tech was a God send to me. She was there for me through all the tears, and handled Nala like the angel she was. She even cleaned her up afterwards. I am so grateful for all of you.

WE HAVE BEEN TAKING OUR DOGS TO K-VET FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS NOW. CURRENTLY THEY SEE OUR TWO FEMALE SHEPHERDS BOTH OF WHICH ARE EPI DOGS. THE CARE THEY RECEIVE HERE IS TOP NOTCH. THESE DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL DIETS, IN ADDITION TO ENZYME ADDITIVES ON THEIR FOOD TO KEEP THEM HEALTHY. ALL OF THE DOCTORS, ASSISTANTS AND OFFICE STAFF HAVE BEEN GREAT WITH THESE TWO. OUR THIRD SHEPHERD IS A MALE. HE WAS BORN WITH SOME NEUROLOGICAL AND MUSCULAR ISSUES WHICH REQUIRE HIM TO ATTEND REHAB PERIODICALLY. STACY THE TECH AT REHAB ALONG WITH DR HALDEN HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN GETTING HIM ON THE RIGHT PATH. WE WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT K-VET !

We go to Kvet on a regular basis, for check ups , however, Our little 10 pound toy poodle, Katie, got very sick a few days ago. Dr. Donohue stayed later than she was supposed to so she could see KAtie. Katy ended up having a uterus infection (pyometra) Dr Donahue is the most caring, and compassionate vet around! She explained everything we needed to know since this is a life or die situation. I couldn’t be happier with this place. The other doctor and the whole entire office staff is nothing short of wonderful I would never think about going Anywhere else!! ❤️ For the reviews I read down below about them being very costly and ordering tests at the animals do not need, I have a comment for them, first of all, I do not feel the prices they charge are very high at all! They are very competitive but did you ever hear the term “you get what you pay for” I would rather pay a little more and get expert care with doctors and staff that go above and beyond for my pet. And as far as the test that they want to run, they advised you that you are under no obligation to get it, it is just what they suggest.

Max was in pain and needed to be seen right away. KVet was the only place willing to help him. Dr. Konigger walked into the exam room and connected with Max immediately. While I watched, I realized she was conducting his exam as she petted and talked to him. He had a broken bone in his foot. Their connection continued until his recent passing. The doctors and staff who knew Max felt our loss as keenly as we did. They are, and always will be, family.

I am so impressed and felt lucky to have found K-vet! My puppy is a shitzu mixed and he went crooked on us... didn’t know what happened. We went to our vet and they didn’t realky seem to know what to do... I got the number to these vets and called... got an appointment quickly and my daughter took our pup. My daughter was impressed at how thorough they checked him out... our pup loved each member he met... his neck was out of place and the doggie chiropractor popped it back in... we are now switching to this vets office... the follow up calls were a great surprise! After a phone call staffing is very pushy for unnecessary testing. This isn’t the first time I’ve been shocked by staff last appointment I had in April my friend and I were waiting to take my cat to the back. The phone rings the staff ask if it’s an emergency or not like normal. And they put the person on hold and go like I was saying continuing there conversation while the person was on hold. They didn’t get back to the person on the phone till the conversation was done very unprofessional. Note that the conversation was only between staff about there personal life. My friend and I were the only customers in the office at the time.

Been taking our dog here since he was a puppy. The staff is friendly and really cares about the health of your pet. The rates are reasonable and you wouldn't want a better place to bring your animal. Our kitty crossed the rainbow bridge three years ago and they sent us a sympathy card. They really care about furbabies and their families.

Our one puppy was starting to snowball into a world of worrying symptoms.... Overeating, overdrinking, constant accidents as a result of overdrinking, oversleeping and lack of motivation... He only gets excited when someone comes through the door or he sees another dog. If he every actually plays, my boyfriend and I are really surprised. He is a six month lab/pitt mix. We took him to our original vet (Indiana/Kittaning) and all they did was chalk it up to him being a puppy... Really?? I called K Vet as a last resort kind of deal and already the vet tech understood my concern and the vet as well. He got a full work up of tests to check for anything possible and the vet already seemed to have an understanding of what could be wrong. Will definitely make this my permanent vet for my pups... Simply the best!

The majority of the staff have been professional, kind, caring , understanding, and willing to work around our busy schedules. Several times when our Yoda got himself sick they squeezed him in. When i first brought our dog to Dr. Hougentogler at KVETS he was paralyzed on one side and could not walk. We were concerned that our 5 year old Lab may have to be put down. With a very good examination by Dr. H, he suggested acupuncture treatments as well as an aggressive therapy of Chinese herbs. Admittedly i was skeptical, but as time passed my skeptical concerns were wasted energy. Dr. Hougentogler and Dr. Alex Konegger and her staff are the best. My dog continues treatments today and he has improved and is now walking. More improvement is needed as this may take some time, but it sure beats MRI's and surgery. THE BEST VETERINARY CARE i have ever experienced.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon as she is just a puppy and will get a few visits in before she is one. Please always tell me special things about her breed, rather you think I know them or not. And any general puppy advice is always nice to hear from the vet.

Dr. K has been so patient with me. Captain loves her and she has taken such good care of him. I have never had a vet take the time to explain the science behind what is happening with my pup. She helps me to understand the steps that need to be taken to arrive at a positive end result. And then takes to time to touch base with me by phone to make sure things are going well. Who does that???? :) We are lucky to have found K.Vet Animal Care. The entire staff is so helpful and just down right nice.

I take my boy, Meezikeen, here for acupuncture. I adopted him from my local shelter, after falling in love with him where I work. He was there for treatment of a urinary blockage. We had come to find that he also has nerve damage that hinders his urinary and bowel function. Acupuncture has been amazing for him! As for KVet, the facility is clean, the staff are kind, and most importantly, the doctors are very knowledgeable and experienced. We have a treatment protocol for Meeze and it has been nothing short of amazing. Working in veterinary medicine, I was apprehensive about alternative therapies. I urge anyone questioning to give this facility a try for alternative, as well as, commonplace medicine. I am very thankful for KVet and how much they care for my boy. <3
