Hamilton Veterinary Hospital is a Shining Star in Hamilton Township. I have been bringing my pets to Mary Moon for the past 25 years and I would not take them to anyone else . The staff is caring, warm, and friendly and above all pays very close attention to your pet. They go beyond caring by calling to see how your pet is after surgery and answers any questions you may have or finds the answers and calls you back. Not pleased with my visit to this animal hospital. When you go to a vet, you trust them to be honest and give you every bit of knowledge you need to successfully raise a puppy. I did not have that experience here, I was not informed by the vet about several vaccinations my pup should have gotten during our 4-month old visit. That left my puppy at risk for so many illnesses.. Not to mention, lied about where I could buy heart-worm medication, because she wanted me to buy from her. She is only looking out for her pocket, not your pet. Thankfully, I was able to go to a new vet and they caught him up on everything this vet missed for a fraction of the cost!

The staff at VCC are amazing! Dr. Horn and his vet techs treat my rabbit and I as if we are a part of the family. I have gotten nothing but the best care for my rabbit from their team and will continue to recommend his practice to anyone who inquires. Extremely not happy with this place. We brought my parents dog Simba here for some shots and to checked as he wasn’t feeling the greatest. Dr passmore was very snippy and treated me and my fiancé like idiots. She definitely showed a lot of fear towards my dog because he was anxious but showed no signs of aggression. He got his blood drawn with ZERO issues. She decided instead of giving him his shots afterward she wanted to mess around with his ear which got him excited. I was then forced to put a choke collar around his neck and I was basically told to choke my dog to restrain him so “he doesn’t bite”. Then because I told her I’m not choking my dog she decided to send in some retired old goon with an attitude. I guess he thought he was going to try and restrain my dog and when I told him he’s not touching my dog he became extremely frustrated and I was told to leave. All because simba is a pitbull. The dog is around all types of people and my son on an everyday basis. Pitbull owners beware. If your dog shows any type of anxiety they’ll try and say he’s gonna bite.

Been meaning to review this place but never got around to it. My puppy broke his leg when he was around 6 months old and I had been taking him here since I got him when he was 2 months old, so of course I brought him here when this happened. Never had any issues on any visits before this, aside from hearing my puppy scream bloody murder every time they changed his splint for the next 2 months. On the day of his last splint removal they informed me that they didn’t think his leg was healing well and they recommended no other options aside from amputation. There were no x-rays done first of all. And second of all once the conversation was finished they already had the bill ready for what the amputation would cost. I learned right there that clearly all this veterinary office cared about was and is money. I took my puppy to NorthStar Veterinary Hospital that same day and they actually examined him and did x-rays and said the other doctor had no idea what she was talking about because he was healing perfectly fine. My dog to this day has no problems with his leg and continues to have all four of them!

My Sweet Baby Girl, Piper a Beagle/Boxer Mix just 3 months shy of turning 11 yrs. Old had an EMERGENCY On 1/11/2019. She's had A few EXTREMELY Large Masses including 1 on her Toe/Paw and 1 on her Leg. The 1 on her Leg Burst Open out of NOWHERE and WOULDN'T Stop GUSHING Blood!!! I brought he right in, they Quickly Assesed her and Surgery was the ONLY answer. Even though I'm living on SSD Benefits they did work with me on the Amount So I could ENSURE her A Happy Ending. Dr. Emma Did a SPECTACULAR JOB On Piper's Wounds, I couldn't be Happier!! I've been a Patient of Hamilton Veterinary for over 15 years and The Entire Staff has ALWAYS been Sweet, Caring, Professional and Definitely all about making your Animal stay Happy and Healthy. Now how to Cover her Wounds when she goes out in this Rain and Snow, Uuuhhhggg She also Despises the SATELLITE DISH With the power of a Thousand Suns!! I had good experience with the hospital. I took my 10 week puppy for the first time check up. I was able to request the appointment at night and I got confirmed appointment the next morning from email. The check in was easy and I was quickly sent to the examination room by the staff. The staff took the notes and Dr. Passmore went though the exam very thoroughly. My puppy had bronchitis and she explain to me very clearly all the issues with it and the treatment. She did not push any extra service to me and explain to me the cost of the service necessary when asked. The staff also went ahead cleaned up the nose and eye for my puppy. The doctor and the staff are all very friendly and everything is very smooth and professional. The office is very clean just like any good professional Dr. Office with computer notes taking and viewing of the X-ray. What I asked about other service cost that I might needs and they printed them out and explained them to me. Most of the regular maintenance item are pretty reasonable. They also took the payment right in the exam room instead of going to the reception desk, which make it very simple. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We recently adopted a shelter puppy and after an initial honeymoon period of perfect behavior the first day home, she started acting up. Our first vet appointment happened to be scheduled the next day so we had a lot of questions going in. I moved to the area last year and I was really worried about finding a new vet. We have two dogs, one of which has severe allergies and requires Apoquel and routine testing. We rescued her from an abusive and neglectful owner and she is terrified of other dogs. She needs to be walked in/out when the waiting area is clear for her safety and the safety of other pets. The staff here is AMAZING! They are always so friendly and they are more than understanding when it comes to the situation we have with one of our girls. Her prescription is ready the next day and we’re greeted with a friendly staff every month! The doctors here are just as good. Compassionate, caring, and thorough. They address all your concerns. They’re everything you’d want in a Vet!

Small place with friendly staff. I have lived in Hamilton for almost 3 years, but put off switching my vet because I was nervous and had no insider reviews of this place. I took my sick cat here, received an appointment quickly and from friendly receptionists (unlike so many other animal hospitals). I had a positive experience with every staff member and my cat was comfortable the whole time. i will certainly start bringing my dog here next! the doctor called me to follow-up with a culture and suggested i call back in 2 weeks for addtl follow-up. they have my vote.

I was very happy with the way the people of this animal hospital took the time to thoroughly examine, properly diagnose and treat my cat's ear condition. I thought my cat had ear mites, but it turned out to be a yeast infection in his ear. Staff is very friendly, professional and caring. I'm also impressed by how affordable it is to bring my cat here for his anual check-ups. I recommend this animal hospital to anybody that is looking for a great place to have their cat's/dog's routine and emergency health issues taken care of.

I have found our vet! My husband and I recently moved up to Abington from Philly and had taken our dogs to several vets in the area for general shots/check ups. Our one dog started itching and scratching causing damage to her skin. We took her to 4 vets over a 3 month period and each time the vets were saying it was a contact skin allergy. We tried medication, medicated shampoos, changing food, we threw out beds and blankets. We finally went to Dr. Amy Johnson at Hamilton Vet Clinic, and after a quick skin scrape, she found the source of all her pain - it was mange! (A highly treatable skin mite.) After months of worry and poor advice, our dog is on the mend thanks to her. We couldn't be more thrilled and more happy with our service there. We highly recommend! :)

I am highly upset with this place. I took my 5 month old puppy here for the first time today for his rabies vaccination. The woman said she was going in the back to get the shot ready and then she would come take him from me, do the shot, then bring him back out to me. I was extremely uncomfortable with that. And when she took him from me she didn't even really comfort him. I've never taken any of my pets anywhere where they didn't let you in the room (even just for a shot). I was almost in tears because he's a puppy and I'm sure he was scared, I would have felt much better being there with him. I seriously hope he got the proper shot and he will be alright. Oh and they also didn't explain anything to me. Usually the vet will explain how they may feel afterwards, or signs to look out for if anything goes wrong. They literally didn't say anything. I won't be going here ever again.

Very ignorant thoughless no regards to animals safety. They dragged my dog across the floor out of the room caught her back leg and kept pulling her like a garbage bag almost broke her leg she was very upset. When I brought it to Mary moons atention she ignored it with no concern. The man that idetified himself as the office manager was only worried that I called the stupid girl stupid and immediately threatened to call the police he needs to wake up. I will be reporting this horrific incident to the board of nj .they think they can treat ur animals how ever they want and ur not aloud to say anything .bad moon business. stay clear the office staff is no better they act like their doing u a favor with a eat crap and die attitude very ignorant non caring animal practice stay clear and spread the word around they have no personal skills Mary moon is in outer space sees nothing going on around her what a ignorant women . I love everything. Everyone is super nice since we walk in. The doctors and assistants are very concerned and listen and give advice. They put out recommendations but don't push you to buy things. Give my dog treats to comfort her. Are super careful with my pets and take their time. They always check my dogs history. My mother-in-law suggested taking our cat to Hamilton vet the Vets are fantastic there we were having a problem with our young cat who was a stray who showed up at our back door one day and never left she's absolutely beautiful we took her to get her shots and we were also having problems with her using a little box the vet gave us a couple of suggestions and they worked out beautifully the vet was also very gentle with our cat because as a stray she wasn't used to being handled by a lot of people now our cat is up-to-date on all her shots she's healthy and happy and she just loves people I will definitely take her back to Hamilton vet
