This vet took amazing care of my dog during surgery and after surgery. They are incredibly friendly and caring on the phone and very flexible to work with. My in-laws had to bring my dog because of my work schedule, and the vet and staff really went out of their way to keep me informed about her progress. They are very loving and caring and super thorough about explaining everything. I got to speak with the vet on the phone personally and she was very attentive and put me at ease that my dog was in the best hands possible. Everyone from the receptionists to the techs to the vets really care about your pets and treat them like they are their own. I am very happy and super pleased and would highly recommend this vet to anyone.

Great Office. Great Staff. We haven't had an animal in years, until recently. We adopted our dog from Adams County SPCA, so we needed to go through the normal checkup to make sure he was healthy. The staff from the counter to the vet assistant to the vet were great, and no hidden costs, which in my years past with vet offices was always a surprise, but, I will definitely keep our new family member with Confederate Woods Veterinarian. Very nice animal hospital! The staff is always super friendly and caring towards your animals. The vets really know their stuff and are awesome with the little furry friends. The faculty is spotless and really welcoming. The only downside is that it does tend to be more expensive than the other offices in this area.

I took my new kitten Moses in to see Dr. Jody Dickey today. Dr. Jody was a very nice woman who is very knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff was friendly and understanding. They were able to give my kitten the treatments he needed. He was treated for ear mites, fleas, and dewormed, along with a physical, all for 106.00. I recommend this veterinary office to anyone with pets. The only thing is i think it'd be better if they medicated the pets in front of the owner instead of taking them to another room.

Inwent there to get flea and tic meds. For my cats my other vet didnt hav it they took me and my cat to room talked a bit then they took my cat in another room to giv her tick meds i did NOT like that at all they could hav put that on my cat in room with me if my cat smells me hears my voice helps to keep them a little calm i will not go there a gain i asked them why they took her in other room they said meds are in that room i said its was just flea and tick med i did NOT like that at all will not go back vet was nice

My experience here was amazing. I was 3 hours from home with my two dogs, and one got sick. I was so scared and worried about my little guy who was shaking from pain and there were only two vets near my hotel, so I chose this one because of proximity and I'm so glad I did. At 8am sharp I called Confederate Woods and spoke to a very friendly receptionist who accommodated us no problem. I was able to get an 11am appointment and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. You can tell that the staff truly love animals and treated my baby like he was their own. Dr. Becker and the vet tech (I never got her name) were so patient and sweet towards him and my other dog, too. She identified the problem, gave him some shots, and I was sent home with detailed instructions on when/how to administer his meds. 20 minutes after his pain med and antibiotic shots, his fever was gone, he wasn't shaking, and he was pretty much back to normal and the next day it was like he was never even sick. The only negative thing I have to say is that this vet is three hours from home and I wish I could take my dogs here for all their veterinary needs. If you live in the area, go to Confederate Woods.

We were very pleased with the care our dog received at Confederate Woods. When he got sick on our vacation they were very pleasant on the phone and gave us excellent directions, getting us in the same day. When it was determined that he had to be put down, they were kind and compassionate during the whole procedure. I wish we lived closer. We would change our veterinarian.
