Great staff! Reasonable prices!
Absolutely love this Veterinary Clinic. Dr Jim gave our pug Otis the best care, updated us twice a day after both of his surgeries and did an outstanding job getting our fur child well again! Thank you so much for everything you have done for our family, our daughter is so happy he's well and at home :) Cannot say enough good things about Dr Jim and his staff!! Bless you all
Great place and great people, they love animals and always do everything they can to help your pet.
Horrible & Unbelievable...My wife and I recently lost our Dachshund of 16 years, it was the most heart breaking loss of a pet either of us have ever experienced...He was like a child to both of us. As I had to take him in for this I called this West Valley for their assistance: During the call I specifically stated that we wanted a paw print as we have always gotten them for our animals. I then reiterated this on arrival as you have to pay first in this situation and it was on my receipt, then teary eyed asked again as I left for the print and was told the crematorium would send it over in a few days. A week past so I called and no one could answer the question and promised a return call. No call so the next day, today, I call again....I am told that they forgot!!!!!! For us, and what is a awful day for any feeling person, they forgot!...Forgot the one thing I repeated over and over that was important to us! Forgot the last memory we could have had. If they can't get this right I certainly won't bring the ones that need loving care to this un-compassionate un-thinking clinic. If it matters to you..Think twice
Didnt help wild animals
Excellent care for my cat! Top notch; very friendly and caring staff. Excellent vet!!
Love the old fashioned way of doing things. I was very pleased with the vet. The receptionist? Not so much
I've never had any problem there
Great place to take your animals.
The staff are all so friendly and the vet is very no-nonsense. I really love taking my animals here.
The West Valley Veterinary hospital has a ramp to get into their business and a lite door so kudos for them for having a handicap friendly business! I have a cat that absolutely hates going to see the veterinarian! I have to put him in a carrier to get him there. When I got into their building I said hi to the receptionist and checked my cat in for his appointment. He had been scratching at his right ear. It didn't take long before it was our turn. The nurse called me back to the examining room. The vet came into the room and I told him what was going on with my cat and he said well let's take a look at him. The nurse had to help me get my cat out of the carrier and then help me hold him still so the vet could look into his ears. The vet looked into my cat's ears and said he had ear mites. He said it was common with cats to get them and gave me some medical ear solution to put into my cat's ears until the medican was gone. I told him thank you and the nurse helped me get my cat back into the carrier. I went out into the lobby to pay my bill. Then with a cat in hand, I left the building. If you're looking for a vet who cares about your animals and great customer service then, West Valley Veterinary Hospital is the place to take your animal!
Wonderful staff. Very reasonable prices on services and products. They are so friendly and good with our pets.
Super good people
Friendly staff. Fair prices. They're great with your furbabies!
Very caring staff and no question to to big or to small for them to answer.
They can't get your money fast enough! My dog desperately needed meds and they refused to give it to him because he was 5 days past his 1 year check up! 5 days!
Could not ask for a more friendly and qualified place to take your pets. Both Vets are wonderful with the animals and very good. Can't imagine going anywhere else.
Very reasonable prices, friendly staff
Doc was nice, kitty was happy in the end
Always a good experience! I trust the staff completely with my Yorkies. I have a busy show dog kennel and the staff keep my dogs in tip top shape.
My new Basset Hound baby, Mabel, so far so good with either Dr. Meyer or Dr. Jennifer...they both seem very compassionate and caring. Couldn't get a quick enough schedule for her spaying, so I took her to Baker Street Vet, again, very compassionate and able to meet our timeline. I would recommend either! Loreli Wright
Extremely disappointed after out last visit. Our dog is slightly timid, and the veterinarian acted extremely nervous and afraid of her which made her even more nervous. Mind you she has NEVER bitten anyone or anything. He came in and barely examined her, gave her a shot, then took off. We had noticed gunk in her eyes for a couple days but assumed the "examination" Would include eyes. Next day she has a full blown eye infection and when I call to ask about it they insisted that it was our job to tell them to look at her eyes.... Apparently the examination we paid for doesn't include examining. They also tried telling me the doctor fully checked her and was "in there for awhile" When my husband said the vet barely spent 5 minutes in the room. And the time he spent in the room he was acting afraid and made it impossible to discuss anything. They also skirted around the fact that we were charged for services we clearly didn't get including saying "An examination includes checking; nose, ears, mouth and heart."... But not eyes? And the only one of those 3 things he did was check her heart. So now they want an additional examination and tests run, when she was literally in there yesterday. And we have to pay for a second examination. Had they said "okay bring her in and we will run tests and examine her and not charge for an additional examination and you pay for the tests " I'd happily do that. But then again he was so nervous to be around her that I'm not even sure that would have been best. A veterinarian should know how to behave around scared dogs. If you have a timid animal or an animal that doesn't enjoy being poked and prodded then do not go to this vet.
Excellent vet. Very caring.
They take care of our pets. They are close to our hone.
Friendly and helpful
Our dogs and cats have been cared for here for many years and we have always been very happy with the quality of the care, the cleanliness of the facility, the caring vet and staff and the reasonable prices. The vet has always taken the time to explain everything to us thoroughly. We are very happy and grateful to have this facility in our community. Thank you!
Unprofessional!!! This clinic needs a lesson in manners. Didn't even make it past the initial phone call. Definitely won't go here.
Great Vet-and the office staff was very helpful and kind. My dog got hit by a car and they worked me in . Vet very compassionate with my dog and us as this was a very Trumatic time for both of us . Gave pain medicine and spray for the abrasions .
The best place ever for your pets
The staff is efficient and professional and the vet always takes time to listen to my concerns.
Wonderful staff and gentle Dr. They treated me and my dog very well.
I don't understand what happened to this place....my family has been bringing animals here for years and they were once a great vet. Unfortunately, my beloved dog is about to pass from an unknown internal issue. I brought her here to be evaluated and the prognosis was very poor and needed surgery. I explained that we don't have thousands of$$ and directly asked for payment options and was told that there was no payment options at this place...kinda funny since they have always made payment arrangements for my mom and dad! I was not offered the option for care credit at all. After figuring out about it myself, I was approved and immediately called them for an emergency appointment as my dog is now even worse, and was promised a call back from the doctor. I never got the call! Two hours later I called back and they had to be reminded who I even was....and then was told that the doc left a half hour ago....on an emergency apparently more important than mine. Now here I am the next morning and they have been open for over an hour and no call. Clearly they don't care at all! I wish they would have been honest and told me that they do not want to help my dog! I now have to find a new vet and pay a new initial exam fee and hopefully I can get this done before my beloved friend does. This is a TERRIBLE PLACE and I would never recommend it to anyone who cares about their pet.
Great with my animals!
A good clinic to bring your pets
Losing my best friend was the hardest thing I've been through... West Valley help us through this transition & did so with an Urgent appointment.
Called after my cat had a seizure, told them I thought it was bad, and she needed to be see right away, they said she should be ok till their next opening at 4pm the next day. Our car had another seizure later that could have been prevented if we had seen someone, and our cat passed away at the Salem animal hospital. Do not listen to these people take your animals to the salem vet right away, it's worth the drive to have you animal alive. I will never consider even calling this place again.
Great place to treat your animals. Been going there for years now. The best part is that you do not have to go to McMinnville if you live in Sheridan.
No frills, no be, just great doctors, service and price for you extended fur family!
Best vet ever
are they good with open wounds
Dr Myers is wonderful caring and A great vet. I have always been treated nicely even if I know I must be driving them crazy. Over the years I have had to part with pets due to cancer and other issues and the staff has been caring and empathetic of my situation thank you West Valley for everything
Fast, caring and reasonably priced. So glad to have a veterinary clinic close to home.
Very good with the pups. Makes them and you feel at ease
They we're super friendly and helpful.
Very helpful and patiencent staff.
Curtous and helping
We love the staff at West Valley. They were so loving and caring when we had to euthanize our old dog after exhausting resources with seizure care. The vet (female, who's name I've forgotten) took the place of Dr. Meyer that day (whom we also love) and ensured us of the process and gave us privacy when we needed it. It was so peaceful, best possible way I could have let our old boy go. We still take his "sister" there, as well as my mother's new pup.
Got worm med for cat with no appointment and minimal expense!
They took care of our kitty Vizzy after he hurt his paw. They are exellent with animals and the prices reasonable
Very caring and gentle with humans and animals
The staff and doctors at this clinic are very nice. Prices are reasonable.
Friendly people and fast. My son and I brought his two poopie-pups in for their shots. We were in and out in a snap!
Very caring & compassionate about our situation
Good drs
Great they care
Dr. Meyer is a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Front desk staff Shanda and Shaylien are amazing! Christina Rojas
Awesome local vet with wonderful & caring staff! An asset to our community
We recently moved to this little town and thay have been helpful knoledgeable and just down right wonderful to my pets. My dog even after his neuter and shots still look forwards to seeing their staff. And furthermore my dog is high maintence as he has skin allergies and is a large breed and my kitty is older and needs care too. So we are now regulars to here because of their performance alone. The great service is just a perk.
Treatment of our animals has been with love. They charge what they promised. Answered all our questions.
They were there when we needed help. What more can you ask for. They were nice and very helpful.
I generally pretty acceptable staff I've never had no troubles
I took my dog in because he had an open wound on his paw. I wanted to make sure it wasn't infected. They advised me that they need to put the dog under anesthesia to put stitches on his paw. We did all the necessary tests to make sure the dog was healthy and could handle the anesthesia. About ten days later my dog took out two of the stitches so they advised me again that they would have to put the dog under anesthesia again to fix the two stitches . I got a call saying MY dog died. They said the charges would be waved.. please don't go there if you want your pet to live.
First time there. Just a wonderful experience. No waiting. Great treatment for 11 puppies and Mom.
Good veterinarian good people make you really feel comfortable bringing your dogs to them
Dr. Meyer is the best vet anyone could hope to find. He is inexpensive and does not do procedures that are unnecessary and will not run up your bill. I would go a long way to send my animals to him.
I went here today completely emotionally distraught about my sick cat, and when asked what the reason for today's visit was, as I started to explain I started crying and the older receptionist behind the counter snickered and disdainfully asked me: "And why are you crying?" Then she proceeded to tell me that she could possibly schedule my cat for an appt. at 2:40, so I went ahead and made the appt. and went back out to my car. I immediately scheduled an appt. with my usual vet in McMinnville, 45 minutes away vs 20 minutes away from my home, and cancelled the one at West Valley Come to find out later, my cat had a 104 fever and more than likely has a viral infection that is incurable. Only time will tell along with a strong regimen of antibiotics and fluids (administered by the vet daily). If she hasn't made any progress in the next 10 to 14 days, then it will be time to consider putting her down so that her quality of life does not diminish. **** So now, can someone please tell me : "AND WHAT WAS I CRYING FOR?" **** In my opinion, this woman would be better suited to work in a morgue... I have never in my life been treated like this by someone that works in any area of medicine.....
Staff is rude and uncaring.
Very well organized, need to call for an appointment
Dr. & nurse, very kind & gental with my dog.
Highly qualified and very professional personnel and very caring
