Very knowlegeble about guinea pigs-had my boy neutered with no problems at all!
Great people truly an animal caring group
The absolute "WORSE" Veterinary Hospital to take your pet to. After bringing my pet home from having her paw treated I found my dog licking her paw. After closer inspection I realized that they had bandaged the wrong paw. I placed a call to them and the front desk was rude and nasty and the tech who had done the bandaging lied about it. I went back and the Doctor said it was because they were busy that day. (meaning bad care if their busy)> The Doctor who owns the hospital wouldn't even come into the room. (Dr.T.) Stay clear of this place*******
Dr. Martin Trerise (pronounced tree-rise) has taken care of our dog, Eina, for all 13 and 1/2 years of her life. he is kind and caring and honest and forthright. We have always been comfortable talking with him and now, as our dog's life nears its end, we appreciate so much the way he speaks truth and comforts as he helps us through this hard decision. We will absolutely continue to bring our current and any new animals to doctor Trerise for as long as he is in practice. He is an excellent vet, the best we've had. We so appreciate him.
Love having my regular vet and an after-hours emergency vet in the same building. Service is always great, but the prices are really steep.
Great Veterinary service. Our vet is knowledgeable and gentle. The receptionist who answer my call to schedule an appointment seemed rude and annoyed by my questions though. I really didn't appreciate it. Correction: Another person I spoke to today was great - friendly and helpful! My previous experience must have been just a one time problem.
Love the Dr's and the staff.
Dr "Gregg" Takashima is all you could ask for in a vet. He has been caring for our animals for over 20 years. Thank you Gregg.
All of the staff are friendly & awesome. You can tell that they are true animal lovers. Dr. Inman is my fave - he treats my cat like the little beauty that she is.
Great vets. Convenient hours.
Have been taking our cats here since they were kittens.
Parkway and Dr. Tanner are the best ever! We have taken all of our animals there and they always give the best! From having our regular checks ups, have two knee replacements and having to put one dog down. The love and support they give is over the top and you know they truly care about your animal and your family. They just get it. Dr. Tanner usually gets down on the floor with my dogs because she knows they are nervous and need that extra love, attention and security!
Wonderful vets! I've been going for over 5 years, and just love the staff.
Very clean and took wonderful care of my rat. The doctor was very patient with all our questions, and the staff took the time to show us exactly how to administer meds and clean his wound. Also, the ointment has sped up healing so much! Quite astonishing.
Great staff! Really helpful and polite!
Had another wonderful experience here this week when my little dog, Emily, had to have a mass removed. The staff and Dr. Todd were all fantastic, and Emily did great while in their care. They even created an adorable Bravery certificate for her for being so good on her big day! While it may seem small, it was really special for us. Emily recovered very well, better than from any other procedure in the past, and her incision looks great, albeit ouchy! Every experience I have had here has been excellent, from the reception staff to the techs to the kennel to the doctors to the manager, we are treated with kindness, compassion, and genuine care every time. I have been in the field for 20 years and am very cautious about who I trust my pet to; I CHOOSE to bring my pup here because I know she will receive the best possible care from an amazing team.
Friendly, excellent staff. They will treat your pet like family..
Excellent care for our dog. Dr Juvenile cares deeply, communicates often, and gave great care to our dog with urinary tract blockage. Dr. Juvenile went above and beyond to get our dog the care she needed, checking in with us afterwards to ensure our dog was doing well. Be aware overnight are is expensive; however, the care and attention is amazing and top rate at this veterinary hospital. Also the surroundings spotless, and care for your dog/cat anxiety level while waiting was obvious. :)
On August 26, 2017 we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down our 8 year old tabby cat named Karlson. The compassionate care we received from everyone at Animal Care Group was above reproach. From the time we first brought our boy in a week earlier for triage, to the follow up cardiology exam, and up until the very end we were always treated with respect and had confidence that Karlson was in very capable hands. The services provided by Animal Care Group through the Parkway Vet Clinic, Cardiology Northwest, and Lake Oswego Pet Emergency are truly the very best that you can give to your animal. Superiority comes at a premium price, but if you have the means there really isn’t any better place to take your loved one. To Dr. Mel, Dr. Bryan, Dr. Lisa, Dr. Dustin, Kiri, Stephanie, Brogan, and James, thank you for taking care of Karlson and for your overall love for animals. We look forward to introducing you to our two new kitties, Rosey and Lola very soon.
A bit pricey, but great service.
I've been taking my pets there since 2006 when I moved with a dog and 2 cats. Since then, they have taken care of all those pets until their passings and they all lived until 17-19 years of age. They also saw our hamster and now our 2 new dogs. The front desk service, boarding, techs and all the doctors have always been wonderful.
Very caring staff and excellent veterinarian. The physical therapy group is top notch.
Love the vets here.
I made an appointment with Dr Martin Trerise for my 8 year old Boston Terrier to get a lump checked on her back leg. He confirmed her lump was a mast cell and we made an appointment immediately to get it removed. During surgery he called to inform us she had another lump in a difficult area and gave us the option to see a specialist or let him continue with surgery. We chose to let him complete the procedure and I am so happy we did. He was able to completely remove both mast cells so she won't need additional surgery. Dr Trerise is caring and doesn't make you feel rushed at your appointments or when you call asking questions. He gives you different options for treatment that don't make you feel pressured to proceed one way. He is an amazing Vet and I can't thank him enough for the care both my dogs have received from him.
I've trusted Parkway Veterinary with the care of my animal companions for over nine years now, and the veterinarians there have always provided the highest quality of care. Although I primarily take my pets to Dr. Feliciano, I've interacted with five of the veterinarians there over the years. They are very professional, take time to explain options and answer questions, and demonstrate genuine concern. I recently found myself out of town when my siamese was ill, and I can't thank Dr. Takashima and staff enough for the care provided during this time. Although stressful being so far away, knowing he was in the care of Parkway was very reassuring. Keep up the good work!
overpriced compare to a normal vet and pretend to care.
Our doctor loves his work. Wants the best for his patients. Practical solutions. Everyone is friendly and kind. My dog likes going there.
Dr. Takashima was excellent! We are new to the area and this was my 3rd vet I tried for care of our senior dog. Our dog has several issues and I was having trouble with other Vets not really treating a skin condition. Dr. Takashima came up with a through treatment to not only make our dog more comfortable but also attempt to eliminate or at least control the outbreaks.
I LOVE the vets and vet techs here (and the front counter staff!). I've been taking my 2 cats and dog here for years and have always been very happy with care and respect they show towards both me and my animals.
Taking our pets to Parkway Vet has definitely been the best experience we've ever had with a comprehensive vet hospital. We were referred to them after my dog was treated for bloat by an emergency clinic a couple of years ago. I couldn't believe how kind people were and how well they took care of our Shepherd. Again, I called this morning in a panic about our aging dog and was seen by 8:20 by a kind, knowledgable and compassion team that took excellent care of my dog. I highly recommend Parkway Vet Hospital!!
Simply the best staff.
The best doctor's. Great staff. Get communication.
What a wonderful caring vet. hospital have been using them for 15 years. They love your animals like they were their pets. Highly recommend!
I lived in Tigard for years and after trying a bunch of other local vets, I ended up at Parkway. They have been my primary vet for my two dogs for about three years now and I have zero complaints. Recently I moved to Vancouver Washington and STILL drive to L.O. for vet care because of their quality of service.
Dr. Steve Haley and his colleagues have been providing care for our feline and canine family members for over fifteen years. The quality and high standard of care is consistent, and we feel very much a part of the Parkway Family. The professional staff at Parkway is always welcoming, patient, kind and empathetic. It's not a reach at all to say we've made wonderful and valued friends at Parkway.
The staff at Parkway are the best! Kind, loving, supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Trerise and Dr. Todd have been providing health care to my family for over 20 years. My little Shih Tzu, Lily Anna, loves the Parkway staff. We have also utilized boarding at Parkway with very positive experiences. Thank you Parkway for all you do for your patients and their families!
Love all the Drs and staff here. They love all animals.
I used this vet about 10 years ago for one of my cats and I was very pleased. I called today to have two of my young cats neutered/spayed. It was $350.00 for each cat for this procedure. However, this cost did not include blood work, a collar or pain medicine. My local vet charges 70.00 for neutering a cat. They charge 89.00 for blood work and 25.00 for pain medicine. I asked the receptionist if it would cost about $500.00 to neuter my cat, and she said yes...that was about right!!! I have called various veterinarians, this is the highest cost. I have two cats, paying over 1k is just not fair or reasonable and is in fact extremely greedy on their part!!!! I took the time to call about five different vets. The best price and the best reviews went to Evergreen Vet hospital: they charge $125.00 to spay a cat or $99.00 to neuter a cat. This actually includes everything including the pre surgical exam. I asked about shots and the prices are low. There are no additional exam charges if I give my cats the shots at the same time as the exam. I am just trying to help others, because I do appreciate reading reviews that other people leave as well.
I had to make the sad decision to let my 21-year-old cat go. I knew the time would come, but it was on a Sunday that he became ill and I was so grateful to find a clinic that could help. Everyone was so kind. I was not rushed and the whole process was professional and extremely caring. Then they followed up with a card containing personal messages from the people I saw which made me sad but was so very thoughtful. This was not my regular clinic but any other pet I get I will definitely be taking here. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Parkway.
Our furry family members have been going to Parkway for 12 years. We have always found the staff and docs to be knowledgeable and helpful. We have spanned the gamut from rare diseases to the sad decision to let a terminal pet go. Always we are treated with respect and care. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.
Love all the people here! They take good care of our for babies.
Always clean, the staff really cares and knows about animals. They always put you and your pet first not trying to make you spend extra money. They are clear and have different ways of keeping in touch or giving you information.
Dr. Feliciano is the hardest working, most understanding Dr. of any kind I've ever worked with. Our family cat "Oatmeal" came down with a 100% fatal disease, and while she was very honest about the prognosis, she spent her personal time beating down every door she could to see if we could get her into a research trial, as there has been an experimental drug that showed promise. Ultimately, our race against the clock ended with Oatmeal not making it, and the pharmaceutical company who made the compound didn't have any more of the supply. One of the few good memories of this ordeal is that our Dr. was fighting the fight with us. Had we not received that kind of care, we'd wonder for years if something more could have been done. It's comforting to know we got that effort. She's a great person, very intelligent, and the staff there is great too. We felt like they were our cheering section for Oatmeal.
Took my cat to Parkway since my normal vet is M-F and she needed a diagnosis over the weekend of what was wrong with her. A previous review says the prices are "steep", could not agree more. Charged me a "deposit" of the highest estimate, who does that? Then took 20 min. literally to refund my $350 they over charged me. For the price they charged me with no real diagnosis or x rays, my vet did an ultrasound, xrays and medications. I am glad they were there to keep her alive over the weekend, but the prices here are the highest of any vet I have ever been too and I have owned 6 cats over the years. I will never go back.
We love Parkway! All the vets are awesome and take the time to make sure your pet is comforable. My dog LOVES coming to Parkway for her annual visits!
I cannot thank the wonderful veterinarians and all of the personnel at Parkway enough for the kind and thorough medical care my dogs have received over the past 13 years. Highly recommend.
I can't imagine anyone having a negative experience at Parkway. I have been taking my pets here for almost 20 years! Dr. Martin Is the best! Staff is wonderful also.
Dr. Takashima/Parkway have been our vet(s) for about 25 years +/-. First in Mountain Park w/our beloved Emma, a yellow lab who lived a long, good, and healthy life. Our black lab, Stella Blue, is now approaching 11, and she's been treating at Parkway Vet since the day we got her-she is showing a lot of white on her nose these days. Our daughter got her first dog last May and a new puppy owner has lots of questions for her puppy's vet. We have literally experienced the entire arc of our dogs lives w/Parkway. All of the vets and staff at Parkway are patient, lovely, warm compassionate people. We are very grateful to the everyone who has helped us. I highly recommend Parkway Vet Hospital
The staff really cared about my and my lil baby ruby! We are so thankful
Great Vet. Helpful, loving, and informative. They are my cat's vet and we just got a puppy so they will be the puppy's vet too.
