I've had difficulties and wonderful experiences at this vet. Way back when we first had our nervous German Shepherd she did not like the vet very much and vice versa it seemed. I think it was just a personality difference with the vet and our dog. That was a while back (1.5 years ago) However, they have been wonderful with our cat and I couldn't say better things about their care. It was really hard receiving the diagnosis and the vet who diagnosed our cat was very kind and caring and meticulous and we appreciated her immensely. They have also been excellent at handling emergencies. I think we may do a retry with our dog at once point because Pacific is more affordable than the vet we go to in Hillsdale and much closer to us.

We've been using Pac Vet Hosp for about 8 years. We've been pleased with Dr Grossen, but she seemed too busy for us to schedule an appointment with her. We've been scheduled with other vets at the same clinic and were not as happy with them. Our puppy had elbow and shoulder issues, but one of the other vets couldn't explain in plain language what was happening with her. It was frustrating enough that we were considering to go somewhere else, but Dr. Wikander started around that time. We gave her a try and loved her. We've always been able to understand her explanations and she always explains all the options plus what the benefits are with each option. I'm a stay-at-home mom, which means money is tight sometimes. Dr. Wikander has always taken this into consideration when she explains our options. We're definitely staying!

We love Dr. Paige Pierce and her team at PVC!!! We have been a patron & fan of PVC since 1996. Having a very sickly puppy we adopted and told early on that he had a life expectancy of approx. 7yrs, we explored many clinics and doctors to make sure we had the best care available for him. After meeting Dr. Pierce, we knew she was the one who would give us the most amazing care and she exceeded our expectations by loving & caring for our beloved Sidney for the majority of his years. He lived a wonderful & happy life of 14 1/2 yrs with us!!! Dr. Grossen, Dr. Frost, Staff members; Michelle and Ashley, Technicians; Patty & Beth, just to name a few, gave us such wonderful care, kindness & compassion, always! And with such fair pricing for their exemplary services. Sidney was more than a pet to us; he was a member of our family. Every person at PVC knew this, and they treated him like a member of their family. There is not a person or place I could more highly recommend for a position of trust! If this is not what you are looking for in a clinic to care for your beloved furry friends, then this place is not for you. We now have a new puppy, and I could not imagine raising him without having the care & love of our beloved Dr. Pierce in his life from day one! My babies have been well cared for here. I have two kitties, one is 5-10? he was a human society adoption, the other I got as a feral kitten, he is 6. The older cat had several rotten teeth removed here, the younger cat has developed a skin condition which was treated here, they both get their shots here. The vets here are wonderful, the prices are better than any other vet I've found, and when I call them for help with something like recurring flea invasions, they actually help me over the phone.

I love this place! Pacific Veterinary Hospital is a great veterinary clinic for pets. The doctors and staff are all so friendly and really know what they’re doing. They have been around animals their entire lives and I trust leaving my dog with them for surgeries or anything else. My dog uses to hate going to the vet but he doesn’t mind going here either which is fantastic!

Love the care our pup gets here, came back after going to Banfield for a couple years. However they charged my card twice ($345) and it is like pulling teeth to get this fixed. This is a massive extra charge and needs to be fixed immediately. Contacted my bank and Pacific Veterinary and was able to get this corrected. Still like pulling teeth to get fixed... Update: after having my bank hold funds back all was cleared up. Appears to be an issue with the company PVH uses to process cards, don't pay with a card is all I can say.

We've met 3 vets here and all are caring and professional. Also, when we took our pup for her first overnight at facility, the facility just contacted PVC, and she was cleared to stay. So easy!! Also, they accomoated our schedule to get our girl spayed at the beginning of wi ter break so one pf us could always be with her for her recovery. Highly recommend PVC

Pacific Veterinary Hospital is like a second home to me, thanks to our three fur babies, one of whom has a lot of health issues. The team at Pacific Vet is always kind and responsive when I call, and whenever we arrive they drape my pets with love. So of course, when we arrive my dogs are always thrilled, and my cat settles into a cool curiosity. A bonus is that they always call after we've visited to see how things are going. They've also helped shepherd former furry family members into the great hereafter with compassion and love. We originally started going to Pacific Vet due to the sheer convenience and proximity to our home, plus the added convenience of weekend hours and boarding. Convenience has been far exceeded by excellent service, compassionate care and loving vets and staff. Hands down our best vet experience ever in our lifetime with pets.

I've had multiple experiences with this veterinary hospital. The veterinarians seem educated and Dr. Grossen in particular seems to care a lot and to be accessible and compassionate. However, the receptionist staff provides extremely poor customer service. Every time I call to set up an appointment, I feel like I'm bothering them. I also feel like they don't value my time, because there have been multiple times that I've brought my kitty in and then found out that they didn't do everything they needed to do, so I have to bring my kitty back. For example, I once brought my kitty in to get her shaved, and when the receptionist called me to remind me of my appointment the day before, she failed to inforn me that she wasn't allowed to eat breakfast because they planned to sedate her. As a result, we brought her in and then were given attitude when we told them she'd eaten that morning. We then had to reschedule and bring her back another day. This was a new kitty rescued from the county and she was already stressed out from transition. She also had matts and was obviously uncomfortable, so waiting another few days to come back was even worse. This is one example out of three or four similar instances. I wish they'd appreciate their clients more. Maybe they're too busy to value each and every client, or maybe they're more dog people? Either way, I'd much prefer to take my pets elsewhere.

I would give all the front office staff, the techs, and of course the vets, high marks for all their care over the course of a year and a half or more of my mother's cat's intestinal problems. Appointments were made available on an urgent basis, the receptionists were always welcoming and helpful, and the vets were thorough in their review of the problems and making an assessment, as well as caring treatment. Dr. Bukowski, Dr. Frost and Nolte all kept in touch by phone when the cat was kept overnight, and every consideration was given to providing not only what was best for the cat, but also considering my elderly mother's limitations.

We’ve had great experiences for nearly 20 years at Pacific Veterinary Hospital, through quite a number of pets (including a ferret). Everyone has treated our pets with the utmost professionalism, concern, and kindness. I can’t say enough about them. Our current dog, Oso (a corgi, who got his name because he is oh so cute), actually is glad to go see his friends there. Maybe it has a little to do with the treats, but everyone is very kind and seems genuinely glad to see him.

Everyone from the office staff, vet techs, and veterinarians is caring, attentive, and has my pets' best interests in mind. We've also boarded our dogs overnight, and I've had the peace of mind that they are well taken care of while I'm away. I highly recommend their services!

Dexter and I were treated like family the second we walked through the door. If someone would have been in the lobby they could assume we had been coming there for years. Dr. Story was amazing with Dexter and gave me lots of tips and tricks (in just one visit!) That I wish I would have known a long time ago (cheese on his nose for shots?! Water with pills?) He was kind and didn't rush. He made sure we understood what was going on and gave us our options and why he was making these recommendations. Dexter is 11 and this is the very best vet visit we've ever had. Thank God they're affordable because I never want to go anyplace else.

I wanted to talk to a Dr re my dog and the "Girl" not a woman who answered the phone would not let me talk to the Dr due to a balance on my acct that I was making payments on. It appears that they only care about the money and not about the pets care. In fact the person said "Can we transfer your chart somewhere else", instead of showing concern for the animal. My family has been a customer for over 40 years and this is how I am now treated because I owe them a couple hundred dollars?

My husband and I are moving to Belgium. We were told to bring our cats in for their final booster shots on 8/14/18 . We fly to Belguim on 8/19/18 . The receptionist informed my husband that we ALSO NEEDED USDA CERTIFICATES FOR BOTH CATS AT 5:30pm FRIDAY 8/14/18 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now > we don't have time to overnight their medical information to the USDA in Washington State and hopefully get it back in time as government agencies are notoriously backloged !!! We now have to rent a car and drive to the agency to get the certificates in person!!!! We have to leave a day early AND secure a hotel that takes pets ! This has caused us great anxiety and needless expense ! Why didn't the receptionist tell us we needed these certificates 3 months ago when we first started the process to get the proper shots, chips etc so we had everything in order to take our cats overseas????!?!!!!! They offered us ZERO compensation! The least they could of done is apologize or given us our money back for the final pet exam and shots !!!!!! This receptionist needs to be retrained and written up ! Make sure if you are traveling with your CHILDREN (pets) overseas you educate yourself so you can ask the proper questions in this lame unprofessional office . Buyer beware !!!!!!!

We have been taking our pets to Pacific Veterinary since back when they saw large animals! This includes myself, my entire family and some friends. Currently they are caring for our cat and dog, as well as day boarding our dog during the week. From the beginning, they have always treated our pets as their own pets and have always made us feel special and more than just a client. They spoil our animals and they spoil us. In fact, our dog is more excited to go there for day boarding then she is for coming home. She loves it there! Dr. Grossen is our main doctor; however, we get the best treatment from all the doctors there and trust them all explicitly. Dr. Grossen has been a solid support for us since the beginning and has given our pets the most amazing care. We could have not survived our pets with their illnesses and injuries and just plain quirky behavior (not to mention our questions and concerns) without Dr Grossen and the entire staff at Pacific Vet. They are amazing and we appreciate them so much!!

My dog was losing chunks of hair leaving bald spots, got dandruff, and her skin was very red and irritated. The vet that we previously went to didn't have many answers or a solution on what we could do next. Our neighbor recommended Pacific Veterinary Hospital and having seen no results at the other place I was eager to go. I was greeted by Dr. Laura Bukowski who was amazing! She is very straightforward, had a plan ready to go by the end of our visit, and did not feel rushed at all whatsoever. We went home satisfied and with new meds for our dog. Not even a week later our dog was doing SO MUCH BETTER! It has been a few weeks now and she is back to normal. I am forever grateful for the help we got, so without a doubt, I highly recommend coming here.

I just moved here last fall to start school and I'm happy to have finally found a vet in the area with what I consider more reasonable prices than the first two I tried, AND who does great with my fearful mini schnauzer! Went there for a dental cleaning Special they were having for the month of February because it was time to get my 8 year old doggy's teeth cleaned, and now they are my doggy's vet. I was impressed not just with Dr. Bukowski's bedside manner with Captain but also with how personable, kind, straightforward and reasonable she is, plus her great attitude! The doctor that did his teeth cleaning also seemed very nice and was very thorough with his intake when we dropped him off the morning of his procedure. PS during this same visit I asked for a rabies shot for my doggy he was due soon. They did some medical records research by calling his old vet on Texas then told me it was actually a little early still and that we could do it now but we could also wait a bit too. They prioritized my doggy's health -- and my financial situation -- instead of their profits, since it's not like they could be sure I would ever return...

They also offer pet boarding with a rewards system, something like after 7 days you get an 8th free. Which is great when traveling for the holidays.
