Was turned away by the receptionist at this clinic this morning as "too busy" to see our 3yr old 8lb Shih Tzu who'd been throwing up all morning. We were extremely concerned about an internal obstruction - which can be fatal in these dogs without prompt treatment. This was an emergency vist - and we were turned away. Unbelievable! We then drove 18+ miles to Corvallis where the staff at Willamette Vetrinary Hospital understood her potentially serious condition and saw her immediately. We will NEVER return to the Lebanon Vetrinary Clinic. They were unprofessional, irresponsible and potentially dangerous to our animal's health

WORST PLACE EVER! Soulless vets, Connie is incompetent and does not get back to you in time, and your pet dies. They don't care about the well being of your pet. All they care about is money. They did not take the time and check on our cat, put in her in a cage and she died over night. We felt like we were just a number in their system. Been going here for years and they could care less! Was devastating for our entire family!

My cats have been patients of Dr. Vielbig for the last four and a half years. I had just moved to Sweet Home from Albany, where I had a great relationship with my Vet. I was brokenhearted that I didn't feel it would be kind to drag my cats to Albany to the Vet.I hated leaving him. My dad had always used the hospital so I gave you a try. Dr. Sarah is a Godsend to me. My time at the Vet is usually a very emotional one for me. She not only keeps my cats calm but she does me too! I have always gotten excellent care. I will also say, having a cat that takes regular medicine, I researched to get the best price. Out of all the several places I looked, your hospital was still the cheapest! My only complaint is I sometimes have waited way too long. I do realize though that there are emergencies.

Dr. Peters is wonderful. She has examined and trimmed nails on my cat, rabbit, and canary. She can diagnose and treat many kinds of animals and always made time for crisis situations. All of the staff are very helpful. Also, they can get a little busy because of all of the animals they help everyday. They treat the people very well too. Their prices are very reasonable. This is the place for your animals' care.

My chihuahua went in to labor and wasn’t doing well at home and we knew we needed to get her to a vet right away in order for the babies to come safely and Lebanon Animal hospital took us in right away and told us to come as soon as we can and helped my nova deliver all her babies safely via C-section and the team was absolutely amazing and treated my dog with such care as well as her babies and we couldn’t be more grateful for what they did for us and the price was also very reasonable for everything that they did. It was also a very busy day for them this particular day but they still fit Nova in as soon as I could get myself there because they care about the pets and not about the money . I was very impressed to say the least.

I TOOK MY SMALL PUPPY IN TO THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL BECAUSE SHE WAS VERY LATHARGIC AND ACTED LIKE SHE WAS HAVING A HARD TIME BREATHING. WHEN I TOOK HER IN I ASKED THE RECPTIONIST IF SOMONE COULD LOOK AT HER IMIDIATLY AS I THINK SHE IS STARVING FOR OXYGEN. THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME THE VET WAS IN SURGURY AND NO ONE WOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK AT HER. I TOLD HER SOME ONE NEED TO LOOK AT HER NOW. SHE IS NOT HARDLY BEREATHING. SHE THAN TOLD ME THAT I WOULD NEED TO TAKE HER TO ALBANY. I TOLD HER I DONT THINK SHE WOULD MAKE IT. SHE SAID THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. SO I RUSHED HER OVER TO FAITHFUL FRINDS VET AND HOSPITAL IN NORTH LEBANON. THEY TOOK HER IN RIGHT THERE EVEN THOUGH THE VET WOULD NOT BE IN FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTS AND PUT HER IN AN OXYGEN TENT. THIS HELPED HER BREATH BETTER AND GET THE OXYGEN SHE NEEDED. I WOULD NEVER EVEN TAKE A DEAD DOG TO THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL AGAIN. SEVERAL YEARS AGO WE HAD A CHOCLATE LAB THAT, UNKNOWN TO ME INGESTED MOUSE POISON. SHE WAS COUGHING IN A VERY STRANGE WAY AND ACTING STRANGE. SHE HAD HER HEAD TO THE GROUND WHEN SHE WALKED AND DIALATED PUPILS. I TOOK HER TO THEM AT THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND THE VET CHECKED HER OVER AND GAVE HER ANTIBIOTICS AND SENT HER HOME. THEY TOOK A BLOOD SAMPLE FROM HER AND THE NEXT DAY ABOUT 3PM, I NOTICED SHE WAS STILL BLEADING FROM THE NEEDLE HOLE. I CALLED THE VET AND HE SAID TO BRING HER IN IN THE MORNING. I TOOK HER IN AT 8 AM AND SHE DIED AT 10 AM. THEY TOLD ME SHE HAD BEEN POISNED AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO SAVE HER. WHY DID THEY NOT DO THE POISON CHECK ON THE FIRST DAY I BROUGHT HER IN. ARNT THEY THE DOCTOR. ON MY VISIT YESTERDAY THE RECPTIONIST WAS VERY COLD AND DISTANT AND SHOWED NO COMPASSION. THE ONLY REASON I TOOK HER THERE IS THEY WERE THE CLOSEST TO ME. I REALLY COMPLIMENT THE FAITHFUL FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL AS THEY WERE VERY CAREING AND KIND. THEY WERE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE LITTLE THING AND PUT HER ON OXYGEN IMIDEATLY. I ONLY WONDER IF THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL HAD DONE THE SAME THING IF SHE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE. THAT 15 MINUTED COULD HAVE MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I AM ONLY LEAVING ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY WONT LET ME LEAVE A NEGITIVE STAR

I would highly recommend them. They were fast and speedy during my busy day and were very considerate of any of my financial needs. The lobby was clear, and even though it is a vet clinic I didn't get hit in the face with animal smell. They even called to check on my animal a couple days later to see if we had any questions. I would have given 5 but waiting for a half an hour to be seen isn't fun. That being said this was my cats first vet visit ever and he was so mellow and they just adored him and got him all cleaned up and we were on our way .No crazy charges just what we came for. I have had the worst experience with these ppl. We have a dog named oscar who had a boil. We told them this and they not only didn't listen but they made it worse. They gave us pills that made it worse and tonight it exploded. He was in so much pain, crying, yelping, etc. Last time, my dog Kitty had a mass on her throat and they did nothing to help her. They gave her pills instead of just fixing the stupid thing. Honestly I will never come back to this vet for my three dogs. We were going to have our third dog fixed here but I will never take them here again. I will never recommend them

Carries Country Inn AFH, LLC has been using Lebanon Animal Hospital for a long time. We currently have a dog who is 14 years old and had two cats. One of the cats just recently passed at 25 years old and the other that passed at 21. Through all of those years we have gotten the best care ever and above. I have been taking my animals, and numerous other animals, whether they be strays or owned by friends/acquaintances, for over 15 years. The staff there has always been welcoming and understanding. Just in our last visit, we took my wife's cat to be neutered. After explaining the concerns about her cat's previous complications, the staff took more than one extra step to ensure the safety and comfort of our pet. The staff at the animal hospital even went to the extent of call us at home after the procedure just to make sure our pet's recovery was nothing less than what it should be. After having awful experiences with other veterinary clinics, our family feels that this is one that can be trusted. Cheers!

Dr. Vielbig is so caring with our pets. We have had to have two very elderly cats euthanized and everyone was so compassionate. We have three dogs and they don't suggest any unnecessary treatments, like some others I have been to. We won't take our pets anywhere else.

This place is a joke. Take a bleeding animal in that needs attention now life or death situation and they say we will put him in a kennel and try to get to him but the doctors all have appointments. (Not emergency's) but appointment all day. They don't care about the animals it's all a pay check to them. Will never go the lebanon animal hospital again.

You got love Dr. Sarah (Vielbig). She truly cares about your pets. She has saved our dog, she said he wouldnt make it for our vacation. That was 1 year ago, and she refers to him as 'our wonder dog'. Honestly I have to say I have never been so disappointed with the care. I have taken my service campanion to them now 2 times. The very first experience was almost 2 years ago and was with a very very nice doctor so of course I felt comfortable coming back only she wasnt the doctor any longer. The new doctor was so not a people person nor do I feel like she should ever care for anyone's pets. She was very very short with me and my little dog didn't like her what's so ever. She didn't try to be warm and friendly . She was the exact opposite. Right away she is yelling for a muzzle. My dog is a weinnir dog not even 8 pounds. Ok I stepped up to hold him and she tells me to back off and let her do her job. Well first off my dog was very sick and he was very scared . The first visit the doc had me hold him for his shots. This lady was something else . She basically was just looking down on me . She tells me he has flees. Ok he is a dog and by the way he didn't really but I told her he hadn't even eating in 2 days there for I wasn't going to give him a oral flee treatment till he could at least eat. She then tells me I need to trim his nails. Ok I wasn't there for a pedicure for the dog. My dog hadn't eaten or peed in 48 hours and he was getting lathergic. So I told her he needs his teeth checked what does she do muzzle him instead not ever checking. What I got was a 690.00 dollar vet bill and she did nothing. She wanted me to do a blood work thing on him which I agree could have been ok but not for 449.00 dollars plus I already had the walk in cost of ,59.00 All I got out of this visit was more worry and heart sick. I bought the 30 dollar flee treatment mind u it's only one pill that last one month. I thought it was a supply of a few months any way I paid 90.65 for a walk in flee treatment. This woman has no business bcaring for pets let alone someone like me who has exterme anxiety . My dog is my world . When she muzzled him and telling me to back away from my own animal who really wanted me because of how she man handled him. Well I well NEVER go there again. She is a horrible horrible person.

In the 11 years I have been going here, they have been most considerate and kind. Whenever a procedure of one sort or another needed to be done we were given a sheet with what the procedure entails. What they felt was really necessary and a column next to it what we could get by with if we were financially unable to handle the full load. Such as extra pain med for just in case. If we approved of one or the other we signed the paper and they proceeded with what was agreed to. Before hand. When my baby was dying of cancer the vet wanted to keep her going as long as possible with pain meds until there was no other option. For the vet up to the last minute was her option. She did want to see Chloe die any sooner than absolutely the last minute. But my little lady had always lived with dignity. So we wanted her to die with dignity. The vet was it's only 2 months, let her have them. I was even with the meds she would be in pain and she fought taking meds a few years ago when she had cystitis. I will not put our cat through that. No pain. No fighting. Put her down. Vet said I disagree. But I will respect your wishes. She had tears in her eyes as she gave Chloe her final peace. These people have always been very caring and respectful. We had fallen on hard times and our dog needed surgery. It took 5 years to save the $700. By the time we did. The vet said she has lived past the usual life expectancy of this breed. I think doing the surgery would only hasten the end. She is not in pain, nor in danger from the tumor. We can keep her comfortable until her final passing. That was a year ago and our little girl has yet to slow down. I so appreciate these people and all they have done for my "kids".

The staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable. Getting an appointment is so easy, I just request online. My puppy loves the doctor and she makes me feel like my puppy is the favorite dog she has ever seen. When we brought our puppy in for a vaccine , the doctor gave him a mini check up and nail trim at no extra charge. The prices here are also very fair.

We travel in our RV and took our cat here last year and they were great. Had to take the other cat here this year and loved the vets and assistance. Very common sense approach. Didn't go to the most expensive alterative first. Explored other options first and we found a solution that worked. We would definitely go back.

We have been using Lebanon Animal Hospital for more than 30 years, both for our house pets and farm animals. I am trying hard to reconcile the negative comments I see with the fabulous, caring, supportive people I have ALWAYS dealt with. In my world, the humans of Lebanon Animal Hospital have been by me during some of the most trying heart breaking times of my life: putting my beloved dogs and cats down, euthanizing old rescue horses, figuring out why a baby goat was born not just right. They have stood by me thru it all. They never turned from my tears, and even shed a few of their own. Never once have they failed to listen to the full details before making a judgement, they never discarded or ignored my thoughts or ideas, they have always made time for me, day or night, at the office or on my farm, for an actual emergency as well as just my own fears(not even an extra bill for my own stupidity). I am sorry for anyone who has not had this wonderful experience with these wonderful people. I truly hope that you eventually found someone whom you could trust with your loved ones.

They also offer house calls which is a god-send for my old lady, a 13 year old shelter mutt, who gets anxious in the clinic. Have used Lebanon Animal Hospital for many years for my cat rescue plus my dogs, two of which are disabled. The care is fantastic and we have struggled through surgeries, some of which have been major and life-threatening. The staff are caring and compassionate and we have always been very well treated. I could not recommend them any higher. They are great!

I took in 3 kittens that needed spay and neutering. I had a certificate from an animal shelter to spay for $25 and neuter for $20. By the time I was done with 2 cats the cost was $200.00 after they pushed to have all mandatory and recommended procedures. My 3rd cat didn't get neutered because he only had one testicle drop and it would cost over $100 to proceed with the surgery. I was trying to do a good thing by taking in the kittens but it was just not very affordable. So if you have spay and neuter certificates make sure you ask how much it is really going to cost when you book the appointment. The staff was very nice and treated my cats well but I will not return to their establishment or recommend them to anyone.

My pets care is always stellar, however the wait time is often close to an hour this last visit was just over an hour to get in the room and then another 20 minutes with no staff in our room. Finally vaccines were administered total time with 3 pets, less than 15 minutes.

will never take my dog there again, she had large cut on bottom of foot and made appt. for 9:30, finally got her seen at 11:00, had to leave for stiches and when I got her home she had flees.... dog got sick from antibiotics after two days and when I called they said come back in and than got charged for the new ones, never even got a credit, I was told they wouldn't take them back... than in two weeks brought her back to have stiches removed and made appt for 11:00, when it got to 11:45 I had to complain because I needed to get back to work, about 10 minutes later they finally came and got me and it took them 2 minutes to remove the stiches and you could see from the vet with her attitude that she new I complained about having to wait so long..... well I say too bad, its my hard earned money that is paying for the vet bill there, and they are more expensive than everyone else, so I don't mind paying it if my dog gets better care and I'm treated the way I should be!!!! BUT THAT DIDNT HAPPEN!!! a few years ago when I came in they were really great, so I don't know what has happened sense then, but they have gone totally down hill and I'm finding another vet , I will never take any of my animals there again!!!!!!!!!! or ever recommend them to anyone that asks for a good vet !!!!!!!!

I have recently taken my dog in because of an eye issue. Turned it her eyelid rolled in and was hurting her eye. She needed surgery. They werebwondefful with my baby and she loves going there. Only reason for 4 stars is I was not expecting to pay for follow up visit. They "have to have" a follow up, then include that in the quote. Don't wait until the follow up appointment to tell me it is going to be $40+ AT the follow-up.

I am not very happy with this facility. They didn't exam my animals in front of me. They was suppose to only sedate one cat, not both when they shaved them. There excuse is that my male cat got feisty mean and hissing. Well i know that is a lie right there. I get my cats shaved every 3 months. I've had them both for over 9 years. Not once did I have to get my boy sedated! The worst thing about it is they shaved him to the skin!! Another horrible thing about this situation to is, I told them to call me, if they had any issues with any of them. They promised they would. Well they didn't. They just did what they wanted. Now that is not costumer service!!!! All they want is that damn money. Well i got news for you. Not again will I ever bring my animals in, even if you are the last place on earth. You guys really disappointed me!!!!!

We have been taking our pets to the Lebanon Animal Hospital for more than ten years. The doctors are caring, knowledgeable, and so gentle with my anxious little fellow. All of the procedures are carefully explained as are the results and after-care. I would certainly recommend this clinic to all pet owners in this area.

AWFUL. The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I can't even tell you how bad it is. 1st the Vet Cary or whatever her name is acted like she knew my dog better than I did and wouldn't even listen when I said certain things "weren't just allergies." I'm so frustrated right now. ALSO they have a TON of hidden fees. They told me over the phone their neuter special was going to cost $108 so that's what I expected right? It ended up costing $230!!!!!!! WHAT!? Then when I called back to talk to the vet about something with my dogs ears she said she would check out she again *via receptionist* said it was related to allergies. I asked for her to call me back personally... Later the receptionist called me again and said the Vet WOULD NOT CALL ME.... What the heck!??! Literally the worst service i have ever gotten. I feel bad for the sweet vet-tech who worked there.... she needs to move clinics because I actually liked her.
