Highly recommend! Can not thank them enough!! We were having a getaway at the coast, when our dog was starting to having a severe allergic reaction. On our way to Newport, we were calling ahead to find a vet on Saturday to see her right away. After the Newport Veterinary Hospital said they were booked and could see us in 3 hours possibly!!! We went to Grove Veterinary Clinic, they worked us in, in between there other patients and treated her. Dr. Burton and all the staff was fantastic, thank you for treating Chloe with such care! Thank you! If you need attentive and compassionate people to treat your pets, call them!

We’d recently relocated here and our Lab suddenly exhibited acute distress on weekday morning. Grove was the only vet clinic in town that would help us, even though they were booked solid. They fit us in immediately and when it was determined she needed detailed emergency surgery beyond the scope of their on site technology, they paved the way for us at OSU so it was a seamless intake as soon as we arrived 45 minutes later. They're very busy, and yet they were the only local option that made time for us or was even willing to have the conversation to inform us of options for emergency care. They really do care, from the front office inward, and went above and beyond to address the initial emergency right away, make the qualified referral, get the previous vet records, and fax all of her records combined to OSU so they would have time to look them over while we were in transit and be ready to go. and were equally as professional and caring with her follow up care. I know their quick caring action saved and extended her life (that’s priceless), and our bills there have been honest and comparable to previous vets who did far less. They’ve earned their preference as our family vet. Many thanks to everyone at Grove!

I was given options and plenty of information from the Veterinarian about my pets issues and the remedies to improve his quality of life, which I plan to do. 5 huge stars and 2 fat thumbs up!!!

First and formost, I am very picky about my fur babies and how they are treated. They are my four legged kids and I love them to Pluto and back. So, when I look for a vet I look for true, honest loyal and find a vet that really cares for my fur kids, not just to make a buck. THIS is the place, they are warm, kind caring and they actually care for your fur kids from the way they interact with them, they are patient and kind and always listen. Here is our story, we are very new to the Oregon Coast and have learned ALOT from being here. The one thing we have learned is the Ocean is NOT a good place for pets, as both my fur kids got sick from playing on th beach. I called Grove Vet and was treated with respect, kindness and all. Today, i had to take my 11 year lab/whippet mix in because she was not eating and had very bad diarrhea and was dehydrated. Of course it is very close to payday and funds were tight, BUT that was the last thing the Dr was concerned about, they wanted to get her better! after drawing her blood, and checking her vitals, they decided on an action plan, and gave her 2 injections 1 to re hydrate her and another to stimulate her tummy to eat again. The Dr sent her home with some meds and pro bionics and said that they will call us tomorrow to make sure that she was doing well. I got home and forgot about when to give another pill to her, and called the vet and they were so nice once again and reminded me. Over all If i could give a 10 star rating I would. Because, they cared about my fur kid hands down, they were caring and kind and patient the entire time they had her! They talked to her, warmed up to her, helped her and made comments about her too. My other pup went with, he is an 18 month old border collie mix and they loved on him too They talked to him and reassured him about his sister. I can not say enough kind caring words about this place. Trust me when I say that I am picky about the places I take my fur kids too. 10/10 star :)

Amazing! Took my pup there while living in Newport and had a great experience. They also did our flight paperwork extremely promptly and we traveled without issues. Contacted them from Germany to request records via e-mail, answered immediately. Call them from another part of the country and get immediate response. Today we were given the run around by the Texas vets and we could not get ahold of any of the local clinics for hours, having to drive from one vet to the other begging to release records; while Grove answered phone calls right away and faxed records within minutes without any issues. Pretty much thanks to them everything got sorted out. I'm so grateful!

Im new to the area recently moved and we just ran out of his flea medicine. Went here july 10, by appointment the staff were really welcoming much different (thankfully) from our old vets. I wish I remember the veterinarians name but she was wonderful with my dog. We only needed a standard check up to get our medication, she notices my dogs nails were a bit long (we usually do it at home because my dog always comes back with bleeding paws and peices of long nail strands everywhere and scared to death) but we gave them a try. He came back nails trimmed BEAUTIFULLY you can tell they went at some angles and took there time. He wasnt scared or shaking. She also sent home some free samples of oral chews. (I talked about getting his teeth cleaned hes almost 2 but she stated we weren't in need and should try a alternative until then) We will be returning if my little guy needs anything done. From the minute you walk in the door you can feel your in the right place. Friendly staff, my very skittish dog was comfortable and instantly she was happy. They won't talk you into care you don't need, your pet is their pet when your there. This is a place that when you say my pets vet it really means my pets first rate team. I was so impressed this is a great clinic with people who care for you and your pet not the bottom line. Don't bother going anywhere else your pets is in terrific hands and so are you. How many places do you feel things will be ok. I don't trust Ariel with alot of people I do trust Grove with her care!

My experience was amazing highly recommend these guys! The Veterinarian I met with was great and really cared! Helped me choosing the right test to figure out what was going on with my baby and understanding I was on a tight budged but not letting that fase the treatment one bit and everyone there helped me get some assistance with the bill. I recieved really bad news my kitty of 11+ years had cancer but still the vet helped with so much compassion and ease. My experience here was really good despite the horrible news and the help was truely heart warming. Will def highly recommend and bring my animals back when ever needed. More concerned about PR, sales and marketing than care. Repeatedly told by staff Comfortis was safe, even though there are seizure warnings, especially for small dogs. Took dog in with seizures. Vet constantly talked about how old he was, when that breed lives long and his age was not that unusual. Claimed dog had brain tumor with no diagnostic tests. Did not offer even inflammation drugs, no x-ray and had to push for blood work. Said call if seizures continue, called, they did nothing. DID NOT RETURN AN EMERGENCY PHONE CALL, DID NOT OFFER A BETTER Hospital to do diagnostics, while OSU is only an hour away. Dog DIED. Did necropsy and diagnostic tissue tests. NO BRAN TUMOR, nothing except phenobarbital. and eye inflammation which I was in for six months previous. They did NOTHING, except talk me out of doing something, to save the most precious thing in this world to me and charged me for the visit. DO NOT GO THERE. What a betrayal of trust.

Absolutely Excellent Our Dog needed an ultrasound just to see if all was good with his gallbladder and liver. We found a small problem which Dr Hurty addressed. The entire staff was Professional. We live about an hour and half away but well worth the trip. I recommend them Highly.

Dr. Burton was great yesterday with Levi. she went over him top to bottom and with process of elimination determined what was wrong with him. today he is right as rain. back to his normal self. I cant thank them enough for the job they all do there. Very professional courteous and considerate group of people. I tell everyone to take their animals there. today is May 6 and I tried to get Levi in for an inflamed eye. was told they could work me in at 9 30 but there would be an extra charge of $25. I hit the roof. Since when is it about the money and not the welfare of the animal? I have been a good and loyal client for a few years now. But thats gonna change. I called Ms Denise back and said I want a copy of my records and to cancel by two cats appt on Wed. I will also pass the word along about their business practices. I also told them if they were that money hungry they just lost a client and maybe many more if I had anything to say about it. My rating has changed from a 5 to barely a 3.
