Hopefully you will never need to use their services, but if the end is near, it is such a gift for your pet to be able to die peacefully at home with loved ones. Compassionate Care made a horrible day a little easier to get through, and made the end peaceful for my dog. I picked up the paw print today and it's a very sweet memento.

Our sweet pup of 13 yrs took a sudden and alarming turn and we knew it was time. I made a call after hours and at 10:30pm Dr Gibson came to our home. She was so kind and thoughtful and helped us through this difficult process of saying goodbye to our fur baby. I will recommend Compassionate Care and we are so happy we did not have to move our girl and could let her go in the comfort of her own home.

We will never be able to give enough stars to this company. They accommodated us twice in moving our appointment to an earlier date and time, without any hesitation. Everyone we spoke with was kind and considerate. They could not have sent a better Vet to our house. Dr. Meg McNabb was compassionate, caring, understanding, and absolutely amazing helping us get through the loss of our beloved Oscar....thank you Meg!!

Katy Beveridge

Wonderful service. Kind, thoughtful vet and reception staff. Highly recommend.

Haley Spriggs

The hardest call I’ve ever had to make, but everyone was so helpful, kind, and informative. Meredith helped our Daisy girl pass with so much love and dignity. I don’t think there could have been an easier process for such a hard time.

Melodee Bray

They made a very difficult situation as easy as possible. Very compassionate throughout the process. No rush. Gibbs was able to pass in his home, surrounded by people that loved him without the fear and anxiety of a vet visit.

Andrea Richardson

My heart is so heavy from the loss of our sweet old cat, but I am also so grateful for the loving care that was given to us by the vet/this company in such a difficult time. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember the vet's name, but she was amazing, and that's no exaggeration. Not having to transport our sick kitty to a vet clinic and having a patient, kind, and caring vet here who talked us through everything was priceless. We are so glad that we found Compassionate Care; from the moment I called to the moment the vet drove away with our sweet Cooper we felt supported and treated with the utmost respect and kindness.

We had to make the heart wrenching decision to euthanize a member of our family. Our black lab, Grover, was at the end of a happy life. I never in a million years would have thought I’d be writing a review on a euthanasia service. The doctor that arrived was so very nice. Dr. Meg McNabb was understanding, patient, kind, relaxed and never made us feel rushed. She even offered to leave if we wanted to change our mind. She shared her own personal story. The doctor showed true empathy and sympathy for what we were going through. We would highly recommend her to any one seeking any form of veterinary care. I read a few negative reviews of the company, Compassionate Care. Most negative remarks centered around having to help the Vet in transporting the pet/dog to a stretcher and then to the vehicle. We were informed of this in advance. At first, I wanted no part of it. My husband on the other hand viewed it as a final farewell. The decision that one is making is very difficult and traumatic. I know first hand how my mind was not focused as normal. It is a possibility the negatives reviewers didn’t hear or retain all the details Compassionate Care explained to them. We Euthanized our Grover on the lawn, he was at rest in the shade and on the grass. The doctor’s truck was very close. The walk to her vehicle was short and sweet. She did not leave until she knew we were ready to walk away. My heart goes out to any person reading this and facing this horrific decision. Marcus (Tyler is my nickname)

Yesterday was a sad day. Our cat Wilbur left us after 14 years being a part of this family with his love, personality and silliness. However as emotional this all is, the patience, care and support of Doctor Jennifer from Compassionate Care Home Pet Euthanasia Service and their well thought through process, made this a very nice and dignified experience for my wife my two kids and I at our own home. Both their process and the care of Doctor Jennifer created the best circumstance to say goodbye and let Wilbur start his next adventure. Yes there is an emptiness in our home and our hearts, but we have beautiful memories including the last moments – thanks!!!

Kathi Ellingwood Burdge

On such a difficult day, our fur baby was treated with care and kindness. The Vet explained everything in detail before she proceeded. She let us say goodbye without feeling rushed. I can't speak highly enough about their care. Peace and love to you and your pet.

Jenn Thomas

Thank you for making a very sad and emotional part of life a little bit easier. We knew for years the only way our Bones would be put to rest when it was time, was to do it at home. On recommendation from our vet in Vancouver- from the phone call to taking him to cremation- Compassionate Care treated our family and our kitty with the exact words of your business. Thank you so very much.

Unfortunately we have had to use their services twice for two of our elderly dogs. Both times they couldn't have been more wonderful and caring. I can't think them enough for helping us to get through a very sad time.

Big Smooth

I've used them twice. Both times were beautiful experiences given the circumstance. Prompt, professional, and compassionate.

In April I had to put to sleep my lovely old kitty who had hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. Unfortunately it was about 9 P.M. when I returned home from school to find she had crashed and the other option besides at home euthanasia would have been to rush kitty to the vet E.R. for euthanasia with two small children in tow. I tearfully called Compassionate Care and they sent out a very nice vet to put her to sleep. They gave me an accurate quote and accurate arrival ETA on the phone. The vet who came out was extraordinarily professional and compassionate. She explained at every step of the way what she was doing. She expressed care and concern for my family and for my kitty. And she allowed this very, very sad time to at least be peaceful and comfortable for my kitty and for my family. She even gave us a clipping of our kitty's fur. She handled the process of transporting kitty to the crematorium, taking her out in a little lovely basket which was such a thoughtful, humane touch. The vet even left a packet with information on the crematorium where my kitty was being brought, my receipt, and pet loss resources in the community. It was not much more expensive that what I was quoted by the emergency vet for an emergency euthanasia at the animal hospital. What difference in price there was, was more than worth it. These people are doing wonderful work and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

Neena

Dr. Jessica was considerate, patient, and so very kind through the whole process of helping my 18 year old cat, Sam, go over the Rainbow Bridge. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It meant so much to me to have this done at home and make the passage as stress-free as possible for my sweet boy, Sammy. I also appreciate how the entire cremation process, even down to the box the remains are placed in, is done with consideration for the environment. Thank you Compassionate Care, and thank you also to the schedulers I talked to the night before and morning of the euthanasia. They could not have been kinder or more patient with me at such a difficult time.

Megan Vowell

Dr. Beth came into our home with so much gentleness and kindness! She was a true blessing at a time of great sorrow.

Cassie Sorensen

Compassionate Care was absolutely amazing. They were genuinely kind and took time to learn what was happening for our Jackpot and how to best support us. They gave us privacy when we needed it - and we didn’t even have to ask. I can’t say enough positive about them. Picking her up after cremation was just as kind and positive as it could possibly be. And they made sure to handle everything exactly as we asked. I will come back to them any time we need to. Being at home was the best possible option for our Jackpot and for our other pups and kitties.

We recently took in our elderly cat who had been experiencing labored breathing to a local Portland vet. The initial visit was great and was performed with upmost care and sensitivity. My cat, Kiki, was experiencing plural effusion due to heart failure that stemmed from undiagnosed hyperthyroidism. Her chest cavity was tapped and fluid was removed. Kiki's labored breathing was treated as an emergency and we got seen the same day we made the phone call. A month later Kiki is under sever respiratory distress that is worse than the first time. We call Friday afternoon and expect to be treated with the same urgency. Sadly, we are asked to wait 24 hours until an in-house euthanasia can be performed or are told to go to an emergency clinic. We were advised to take her to their office to get a Lasix shot, even after we repeatedly expressed our concerns in regards to her motion sickness. Kiki urinates, vomits and defecates while traveling, including walking or vehicle transportation. This was not an option for a cat who cannot breathe. I felt our situation was disregarded by the vet and we were left to play the waiting game with a suffering animal who clearly needed help. I feel like a simple referral to an immediate euthanasia provider would have been more prudent instead of the 40 dollar discount they offered, and a long torturous wait. We ended up making a phone call at 6am Saturday to "Compassionate Care 24/7 Home Pet Euthanasia and Cremation Service" to give our Kiki well deserved rest. I can confidently say that the vet who helped Kiki pass was respectful, sensitive and attentive. I could have not asked for a better vet who partnered with Compassionate Care. I feel guilty for making her suffer while her primary vet did nothing to help her.

We had our sierra put down after having her in our lives for 14yrs. The best thing we every did was to have it done at home she was so peaceful and happy on her own blanket not feeling stressed( which is how she felt every time we took her to a vet)we will never go any other way than with compassionate care at home euthanasia. They are such warm and caring vets that we just wanted to say > Thank you with all our hearts for making our baby girls journey to heaven so peaceful. Sincerely ,The Lockaby's

what kind of outfit are you running I called three different times and was put on hold over 15 min each time before I had to hang up.. if this is the way you run your business I would be terrified to have you take care of my animals

Cody Moore

Thank you to my Vet Jessica for being so kind and caring during this process. You made a very hard experience as gentle as possible. I appreciate all you did for me and my Girl, Mojo. To anybody that is considering using Compassionate Care, please do. It's worth it and they truly care about you and your pet.

Their name says it all. We got nothing less than compassion from the person who answered the phone to the Dr. who came to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved chihuahua. She was patient and so kind. Dr. Gibson even cried with us. I highly recommend their services.

Jenna Bollens

After the horrid experience my friend received with this company when she had to make the heart breaking decision to put her dog down I would advise people to stay clear from this company. The decision to put an animal down is never easy to say the least but then to be given the run around and not told the truth makes it that much harder. She had to help carry her 50lb+ dogs lifeless body out to the car, then wasn’t told that his ashes would have to be picked up in Oregon city (she lives in Vancouver) and then to top off this horrible experience her beloved dogs ashes were put into a bio degradable card board box....how sad is that. Most companies that do cremation send you home with a beautiful box, a paw print, and a touching poem so you have a nice memorial to remember your family member by, if this is something you want, do not use this company.

I am so thankful I was referred to this vet to help us with the passing of our beloved Aussie, Buddha. After 3 months of battling hemangiosarcoma and another bout of internal bleeding, we rushed Buddha to our local vet where they gave us the devastating news that that night would be our last together. We originally wanted him to pass in our home when the time came, however the vet made it seem like we wouldn't make it home in time so we opted to stay there. As we were taking our time to say goodbye, they came back in to tell us that although they "didn't want to rush" us through the process, they were closing and we had to do everything quickly. Of course, something like this cannot be rushed and we decided we would indeed have him pass at home which we suddenly had enough time for again. On 2/19/19, compassionate care came to our house within 15 minutes of calling them to put our Buddha to rest. The Dr. that helped with everything was so extremely patient and kind during the process and told us every detail of what was going to happen. I am so glad he was able to be home on his bed with us, comfortable and at peace. I really couldn't recommend this place enough for their attentiveness and care when having to say goodbye to our furbaby. They also take care of cremation and offer to give you a clay or ink paw print which we opted for and will soon pick up. Not a day goes by where I don't miss our sweet boy, but when it came for his time to go, I was glad we went with Compassionate Care.

Tommy Dourgarian

Very compassionate and took great care of our old friend. Will always use them in our time of need for a best friend.

So much better than a bright, cold room at a vet office. For what was a horrible day, this service did an outstanding job with my large (70lb) dog. The woman was such a calm presence and my dog liked her a lot. She was very kind and compassionate (gave hugs, was 0% rushed). I was so pleased with this service that I recommended them to a friend a few months later for her cat... I was present for this too, and the service was spectacular. The woman brought a basket and a blanket to take the cat out, and even picked lavender flowers from my friend’s driveway on her way up to place in the basket with the cat. Above and beyond. Highly recommend and will use them again, in the invevitable future. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely kind, caring, and sincere from the folks on the phone to Dr. Meg. Thank you all for making a difficult day for our family so much easier. Love

Yesterday, sadly, we said goodbye to our 12 year old chocolate lab, Quinn. I'm sorry, it my emotional state of mind, I do not recall the vet's name that performed the procedure. I do recall how compassionate and caring she was, however. She explained the procedure and what to expect. She allowed Quinn to pass in peace, with dignity at home. We were treated with the utmost respect. When it was time to put his body in her vehicle, she let us know that there was another dog in the vehicle, covered with a blanket. She asked if we wanted extra time with him after she had euthanized him. She traveled all the way to Keizer, took her time, arrived on time, and gave us each a hug when she left. What a sweet, caring soul. Thank you so much!

My dog Queenie was a large breed mix. She re gently became paralyzed loosing complete use of her hind legs. She was 11 yrs old. I could not bear to let her go on in suffering. I knew I needed to make the call, I needed a Doc. to come as soon as possible. They came in less than 60 min. I made sure my dog was comfortable ,the operator on the phone told me what to expect. I can't say enough about Dr. Meg she was so kind professional even double checking vitals. I'm so sad, but I would hate to be in a clinic to do this. This was personal & kind. I cried and the doctor gave me a hug. I hope you consider calling them if you have determined to give your pet some peace and freedom from pain. If you love your pet and want kind care and compassion don't hesitate to call.

This business and staff are AMAZING, and have most certainly earned their angel wings! I cannot begin to express the level of gratitude I have for their kind, compassionate care during one of the toughest times of our lives. For pets and families in the surrounding Portland, OR area, they are a true gift and I feel so grateful to have found them! My elderly Chihuahua sisters had reached a point where everyday was a struggle and I loved them so much I couldn't stand to see either one of them suffer any longer in their old, ailing bodies. I knew it was time. Compassionate Care 24/7 cared when a list of others really didn't. They just wanted to make more money off of our elderly, suffering pets by suggesting a whole big list of costly services to perform, putting their little elderly bodies through even more stress and turmoil. Thank you so much for caring like you did, Compassinate Care 24/7! Our vet and everyone I spoke with was wonderful!

Jenny Brown

Dr Lori Gibson was extremely kind and patient. It was the best we could have asked for given the situation. We were also very happy with the quality of the paw print and service after the fact.

Paula Wade

I cannot say enough about my exceptional experience with Comapssionate Care. I called in the middle of the night having made the heartwrenching decision to say good bye to my beloved dog. Early the next morning Dr. Meg McNabb arrived. Dr. McNabb had such a gentle manner, respectful and skilled. I am forever appreciative that at no point did my dog appear to be in any discomfort and for her genuine, kind support on that very sad day. This is an exceptional service and highly recommended.

We highly recommend Compassionate Care. Our 18 year old cat was in pain and not eating or drinking and ready to go. The gentle vet came and was so kind and sweet during the most difficult time. She went in peace, in her home with no extra stress or any extra pain added. Thank you for truly being so compassionate.

So hard to say goodbye to a four legged loved one and this group of amazing veterinarians help make this easier. I highly recommend this group to help take your furry loved ones over the Rainbow Bridge. In house goodbye is better than any other option.

We had to put our beloved pet dog to sleep last week. For a sad and heartbreaking occasion their staff was amazing through the entire thing. Our initial phone conversation with them set the tone for the entire experience. The person at the other end was compassionate, kind, and answered all of my questions. They were able to schedule us in that very day! The veterinarian doctor arrived right when they said she would. She was also compassionate, kind, answered all of our questions, and addressed our concerns. We never felt rushed. We were grieving and emotional and the doctor showed us and our pet the utmost respect. Our beautiful dog was able to pass with dignity and peacefully. I cannot express how much this has meant to us. We value their service a great deal and have told many friends and family about them already. They are worth every single cent! We are so grateful that our beloved pet was able to pass with her loved ones around her, surrounded by the smells and sounds of her home. Their business and service is invaluable.

Unfortunately the answering service told me my cat at age 14 will have to suffer and that they will not even consider helping my cat with interstitial cystitis and major allergies that erupted all of a sudden. My rescue cat is suffering!

Hanni Borgens

We had to make a very hard decision, which we all don't want to do, but have no choice, to put our dearly loved kitty, Scamper to sleep last Sunday. I have heard so many good things about Compassionate Care in the newspaper last year and recommendation from my Vet to use this service and we did not regret this at all. Our Scamper had a very peaceful going over the rainbow bridge and we want to thank you for this from the bottom of our hearts. You made this a good experience without stress. He was a good boy and made it to 19 years young. What an age. We adopted him while stationed in Idaho from Pet Smart at the age of 7 months. What a handsome boy he was. We loved you so much and miss you dearly, its not the same any more in the house without you, your brother and sister are missing you. Love always!

Courtney Godfrey

The vet that came to our home to help our dog cross the rainbow bridge was so compassionate about our feelings and patience as we said our good byes. The energy she put off was so calming for us and our dog who was suffering from cancer. I can’t thank her enough for her patience as she explained the process to our children and took there questions and waited until we were ready. I would recommend this company to everyone that is in need to there services. Thank you for making this hard and emotional day a little bit easier.

Great staff who are understanding and respectful in your distressing time

Thank You Compassionate Care, for your team's professionalism, patience and support. August 4th was a very hard day for us because sadly, we had lost are first dog two years to the day in a clinical setting. Yet, today on a Sunday the same day we called, Dr Stacy Chrillo showed up at our home and gave us a hospice or spiritual comfort by answering all of our questions and walking us through each step with a professional and considerate manner. We will never forget how comfortable our molly looked until her last breath. She would normally shake due to anxiety but she seemed at peace doing what she loved which was eating treats before she passed on.

Alesha Kuehne

This is the 3rd time I have used this service, each time has been a healing experience for me. Today when the doctor arrived, she remembered my animals from over two years ago when we lost another aged pet.... She was wonderful, kind and compassionate. I will continue to use this service as long as I have animals.

There are so many thing that went wrong it's heart breaking. My dog is my heart and with him gone i feel broken. I should feel at ease with how his last moments were handled but I do not. There are things I wish I would have known beforehand that I was not informed about. Things that every owner needs to know. I called a few weeks after i had time to calm myself and at first i talked to a very sweet lady on the phone, she said Dr. Gibson was going to call me back. The doc did call me back and I explained to her what had happened. First that I was not told I had to move my dogs lifeless body onto a gurney and help get him into the car, second I had to drive to oregon city to pick up the remains, third I was told he would be in a wooden box. What he can looks like paper mache and turns out to be biodegradable and will fall apart in my house one day if I don't put him in something else. Forth I was asked if I wanted a clay paw print or a ink print, I said yes and I never received it. Not only was Dr. Gibson horrible cold but said there is no way her people didn't tell me all of this. I wasnt asking for anything just that people should be told all the facts before they go through with this. This place is obviously in it just for the money and could care less about the pets.

Courtney Roth

I can't thank Dr. Gibson enough for being there to help my beloved Kobi pass peacefully in the comfort of his own home. Compassionate Care was available to help at 3 am, in the snow, when his respiratory issues worsened and was having trouble breathing due to a rapidly progressing tumor. She was gentle, compassionate, and gave us all the information and time we needed. Death is never fun, but if your pet is suffering, passing peacefully with the help of the folks at Compassionate Care is the way to go. Thanks to all of you for the hard work you do. You've made a tough time a lot easier.

On a beautiful sunny day, January 30, 2019, we had to say goodbye to our best buddy, 18 year old Chester, our beloved cat.. I am really not sure who came to our home to help us, Meg perhaps...she was very kind and supportive, and I will never forget her.

Heather J

Compassionate Care lives up to their name. Arrived within hours, explained everything. Never felt rushed. Dr Willey is truely an angel who led us through an excruciating experience with professionalism, patience compassion, and grace. Our dieing, deceased cat was treated with immense respect. Euthanized another animal several years ago at a vet office, never again. My sick animal passed peacefully at home without fear and my healthy animals were surpisingly accepting of her. Highly recommend and will use again without hesitation if/when that difficult choice presents again.

Rachel Nies

Dr. Meg just left our house with our buddy Doug; she was so gentle and tender with him. Incredibly compassionate and professional. We are so grateful for this service!

I HAVE UPDATED THIS REVIEW AT THE END WITH IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT A HUMANE ALTERNATIVE: I have used this business for 2 separate home euthanasias for cats and both experiences broke my heart because of the method used to render my pet unconscious before administering the lethal dose. Both vets who came to my home were kind and caring people. Both warned me that the first injection would sting initially, but I was not prepared for the amount of suffering and for the length of the time my kitty would suffer. "An initial sting" is an understatement. My first kitty, Lily, growled the entire time until she finally fell asleep, so it was much more than an initial sting. About a year later my old cat, Fiona, developed cancer and because I was told that the discomfort Lily exhibited was a rare experience, I hired the same company. Sadly, this time too, I watched my pet suffer until she finally fell asleep. She didn't growl, but after nearly jumping off my lap, she stiffened so severely that it seems she was having a seizure until she finally fell asleep. Again my heart was broken to see her suffer so much at what was supposed to be a gentle death. I have a friend who is a veterinarian and at my request, Lori Gibson, DVM, who is the owner of Compassionate Care, called my friend to see if she could find a different way to do the initial anesthesia. However, they both use the same method and both say it is standard medical practice, so I believe that Dr. Gibson is doing the best she can. However, if you are expecting a gentle passing for your cat, that might or might not happen, and I am writing this review not because I am unhappy with Dr. Gibson's medical practices, but to warn other cat owners that regardless of whom they chose, your cat might suffer more than you expect. Nevertheless, I don't see that any of us have a choice since this is our only option other than allowing nature to take its course and that option may prove to be even longer and more painful than what my pets experienced. UPDATE: We decided to skip the home euthanasia for the next old kitty we had to put down and we took her to our family veterinarian to do it in the office. The first part of the procedure was taking her into the "back room" in order to instal a venous catheter. This kitty has always been very vocal and she complained loudly about this part, but then she was returned immediately after that and she was calm. We were left alone with her to further pet and calm her and then the doctor came in to give her the pre-anesthesia through the catheter. Our kitty went to sleep almost instantaneously. The vet waited a bit to be sure she was fully asleep and then administered the lethal dose. This was the most gentle and peaceful passing and we will do this when needed in the future because there is no risk of a lengthy and tortuous experience while waiting for a painful subcutaneous injection to take effect. Also, this procedure cast half what the home visit costs.

We had our beloved 18 yr old Westie put to sleep last week, and Dr Amalie Hastings came out to help. She was unhurried, gentle, respectful, and above all, compassionate. It was a very, very difficult time for us, but she made it so much more bearable by her presence and demeanor. She was a gift, and it was a final gift to our Gretel to give her an easy and gentle passing. I can't recommend Compassionate Care highly enough. They're wonderful.

Paula Woods

Thank you for helping us get our little girl over the rainbow bridge. Your team was responsive loving and kind. Hardest thing for me to do but I’m extremely thankful you were there for us. Our doctor ga e be a hug and embraced me while I broke down. Am amazing experience as I never thought I could make it through this but they helped us every step of the way. If I could give 1,000 more stars I would. Giving me peace in this extremely difficult time is extremely calming and allowed me to spend quality love time with my sweet 15.5 year old Lhasa.

I had a pretty rough day, but I just recieved the very most professional and caring treatment I could have hoped for. DIGNITY, UNDERSTANDING, KINDNESS, PATIENCE, and LOVE. Those are all I can say now as this is very fresh, but I hope for all pet parents to have as considerate and understanding care as we did! USE THESE FOLKS.

Alex Brown

Dr. Meg was great, caring, compassionate, patient as we put our beloved Elsie to rest. We couldn't have asked for a more calm, caring experience. Losing your pet sucks, it's a terrible experience and I can't imagine anything they could have done better than they did. Thank you Dr. Meg and rest in peace, sweet, sweet kitty.

Jesse Tishkoff

We had to put our cat to sleep today and Dr.Jennifer did a wonderful job. She made us all feel comfortable and made sure to let us know to take as much time as we needed. I had never had an animal put to sleep in home (instead of at vet) and it was a much better experience. Our cat was our baby and I'm heartbroken, but if you need home euthanasia for your pet I highly recommend this company.

This was the hardest morning of my life, but Dr. Meg was amazingly calm and sweet during her visit to put our beloved Jasmine to rest. She was also sweet to my daughter and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. I highly recommend their services. Thank you Dr. Meg.

I just put my cat and best friend to sleep...Tenacious !I had him for 15 years and it was the best years ever. But as in all things there is one final road you must take with your friend and that is the end of life. Who wants to do this in a cold vet room spilling your emotions out with no privacy ? I had to this one other time and having to wait in the lobby knowing what I was about to do and then finally doing it only to turn around and walk out with tears streaming down your face isn't very comfortable. Enter Compassionate care and this can now be done at home. Your friend is comfortable, your less stressed, and they really do pull out all the stops to make this end experience better. Thank you!

Liz Sheridan

I could not recommend this company more. They were able to come out on short notice when we decided it was time to put our fatally sick cat down, which is not an easy decision. The timeliness really meant a lot as when you know it's time, it's time. Our vet was so compassionate. She accommodated our wishes to have the procedure done in our dark room with our kitty snuggled comfortably on me. The sedatives they give before helps you feel at ease about the likelihood your pet feels any pain upon passing. Our vet asked questions every step of the way to be sure we were comfortable with the timing of the procedure and when we were ready to pass him off. She took him for cremation wrapped in a blanket and placed him in a cat bed in the back of her car. She was so mindful of our needs and even offered a hug before leaving. <3

So grateful for Meg’s support and kind advice. I can’t image how much strength it takes to love pets and their families through these most challenging moments. I truly believe her presence allowed our family to grieve in peace.

For such a horrible thing to do in life, this company made my experience the best it could be. Deborah was so compassionate, calm, and just had the best presence. My dog was so comfortable with her. I put my last dog down at the vet, but after this experience I will do it in home every time.

One of the hardest calls you will ever have to make but the people at Compassionate Care are so kind and professional. They explained everything to me from start to finish on the procedure. Dr. Jenny came to my home and was very warm and caring and comforting. Never felt rushed, everything was done as I was ready. I highly recommend Compassionate Care. Thank you Dr. Jenny for the professionalism and care of my dog Elvis.
