I have taken my two cats here for years. I had heard many things before going and after about high prices and such. First off, I want to say I've seen other vet bills and really, Valley is not crazy off on prices. My husband and I recently adopted a cat retiring from a nursing home. He had been having health issues with incontinence that the nursing home couldn't quite figure out. We brought him in and an x-ray later, we were able to know what was going on and started treatment. He started a supplement and almost a month later, he has had no re-occurrence of the health problems he had been having! He is more active then ever as well. We are truly grateful and would guess that this active senior kitty is as well. We will continue using this wonderful vet location where everybody knows their name.

This place is just a money grab. Wouldn't prescribe my cat antibiotics for what was obviously a urinary tract infection. Basically just a throw every possible costly solution at the wall and see if it sticks mentality (instead of the obvious one...antibiotics!). Said the urine sample was insufficient after finally agreeing to take my concerns seriously. I later went to a different vet and sure enough, I was right! UTI and the urine sample was sufficient. No, Valley Vet. I won't take my cat to the emergency clinic. And no, I won't have him euthanized. I'll go to a clinic that isn't a money grab and has the common sense to diagnose a urinary tract infection. Go elsewhere if you want some common sense care for your furballs. Good grief!

My cat had a severe respiratory infection. when i went in there he had lost a lb and a half and the vet had informed me that he WOULD NOT have lost that weight due to a respiratory infection. They said that him losing that weight was equivalent to me or the dr. losing 80 lbs. 80lbs?! I would be non-existent if i lost 80 lbs. so to me it sounded like he was on his deathbed. they said he could have leukemia, heart disease/worms, they had to test his liver functions, AND take x-rays. I felt very taken advantage of. they did all this testing and $700+ later they told me "oh, they came up clear so he is losing weight because of his respiratory infection" ??? are you serious?! my cat had to be put on anesthesia for these tests and he didnt eat for two days after because he was so traumatized. 3 days later with the antibiotics he is perfectly fine and dandy. so, in all i paid $700 for you guys to tell me what i already knew. I was in distress and you guys completely took advantage of that. I am never going here again and will not recommend. Please get rid of my records. Molly Herndon/Black Kitty

You know your pet is in good hands when they greet them first :) my family has taken our pets to them for over 20 years & have no complaints! They are gentle & kind to everyone & animal that they come across & their hearts break just as much as ours when we loose one.

Do not take your pet anywhere else. These guys know their stuff. On top of being the most knowledgeable Vet we have experienced in town, they are kind and understanding. They get truly excited when you bring your pet in and show you that they are doing this for the right reasons. You will love this place and appreciate their attention to your animal's care. Valley Vet is the only trustworthy place in town. We have taken our animals to a majority of Vets in town and have had issues or felt uncomfortable at every other place in some way. Most other experiences have been money grabbing and greedy. Valley puts your animal's health first. We have learned our lesson a handful of times that all of our animal's care should always go through the people that actually care about your pet's well-being. Not making as much money as possible. Thank you Valley Vet for always being great to us!

My cat and I were treated very well at Valley Vet. We arrived early and were taken to a room quickly. The tech was thorough and friendly. The vet was knowledgeable and presented all options. I did not feel pressured, but decided on testing and treatment. It was a good experience - they did not add to my stress level!

I brought my kitten in for his first appointment and I was worried because all my previous pets dislikes going to the vet. My kitty loved Dr. Haroldson and her vet tech. He was great for them and they answered all my questions easily. Also, didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes before we were seen, and his appointment didn't last more than an hour. 100% recommend.

We love Valley Vet. We have used them twice now. Once when our dog was ill and once for a normal visit and vaccinations. When our dog was sick they gave me options for a treatment plan and let me decide what I wanted to do. I thought prices were low compared to other vets we have used in the past, that combined with the level of care they give makes this the perfect place! All of the staff truly seem to care about the animals and enjoy what they do. We will happily continue to use Valley Vet!

This place has been my go to in Fargo since i adopted my dog and they have been great. I loved their service for the most part but one of the doctors and techs were apprehensive to help and acted as though they have never worked with a dog before

They told me that my dog had the flu. so we took her home and a week later it got worse and they said no its nothing then a week later it was getting more and more worse so then they told us "you should've come in along time ago shes gonna die if you don't goto Minneapolis to see whats wrong" and she died the next day and its all they're fault.

Yesterday I took my very sick ferret to see Dr. Ohman. She was so caring and gentle with him and in fact had made space to see him that very day, even though the schedule was already full. I only discovered Valley Veterinary because our regular vet doesn't treat ferrets. I was so pleased with the expertise and care here! Unfortunately, Melvin's prognosis is not good but Dr Ohman was very professional in diagnosing and explaining our treatment choices. Thank you to Dr. Ohman and the staff at Valley Veterinary.

Our cat had never been to the vet before, so when she got sick last week we took her to the vet closest to our home which happened to be Valley Veterinary Hospital and we are SO glad we took her there. They were so great in handling our cat, as well as reassuring us and letting us be there while they examined her. Dr.Webb was very knowledgeable and kind, and Erin the tech was fantastic - we were both blown away that Erin called us the day after we took our cat home to see how she was doing and if we had any concerns. Our little girl is doing just fine now and I think it's because she was in such good hands. Highly recommend!
