I really love taking my fur baby there but today I did not have a great experience. My dog broke one of his nails last night. When we called and talked to the on call Dr. We were informed how the process would go when we bring him in to get his nail checked out. When I took him in today, it did not go anywhere close to what we were told. I still plan on bringing him here for his checkups and stuff but I am never letting Dr. Gigstad touch my dog again! My grandma also took her dog here and he recommended him getting fixed and it made it worse. I will only let my dog see Dr. Pearson for now on!!

We love this place!! Prior we had gone here a few times when our primary vet, who worked at a different clinic, was out of town or when this one was on call. Those few times we visited, we had great experiences with Petcetera. So when our primary vet (who was at a different clinic) moved out of town, we knew where we needed to switch to here! They are always so friendly, caring and helpful! Our first interaction with this place was with Dr. Lorde a few years back when we had to put our dog down due to cancer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a terrible thing to have to do. With our recent switch to making Petcetera our new primary vet clinic, we had Dr. Pearson and she is so great!! I loved that she gave us two viable options and explained everything so clearly. Thank you for your top notch care you provide at this clinic! Another thing I forgot to mention is it is so clean in here too!! Plus they also have this handy app for your phone to keep track of items for your dogs and request appointments. I love this place and HIGHLY recommend it!!

I called the emergency number for my 4 month old puppy whom is having some type of allergic reaction for her eyes are swollen shut and she can't walk. They told me to get ahold of my own vet (which don't have after hours) and hung up on me. I could not believe the neglect.

I can't imagine this palace has that many "Excellent" reviews! (I guess, because they seem very nice when you go to visit them). Last year after we just got our dog from the humane society, we took him to here to get one of his lump (skin growth) removed and get him his shots, etc. They did a good job of taking it out and I am very thankful for that. But, once I came home, I saw that there was another tiny one right next to the one they took out. Had they told me about this, I would have told them to take this one out at the same time as he was already in anesthesia for the other one. Yesterday, I noticed that all of a sudden (in a day) the lump had grown exponentially. I got worried and couldn't wait for the night to end and called them today as soon as they opened to get him admitted and get his lump checked. They told me that they will talk to the doctor and get back to me "Quick". I waited and finally gave them a call again at 11:45 AM. The person said that she will talk to the other person and call me back. I just noticed that my dog's lump is bleeding now and I still haven't received a call from them! (It's almost 3 PM now) UPDATE: I called them again and this time they were very helpful and gave me some good suggestions. I am increasing my review from 2 to 3 stars.

We have had an amazing experience every time we come in to the Clinic with our Three dogs. Everyone is always so nice and helpful.My dogs love the Vet Techs and Front staff ! We almost always see Dr. Z who is an amazing vet to take the time to individually work with each dog and explain what our options are when it comes to treatment. She is very patient with all the commotion that is going on with the Three when they come into the clinic. We have also seen Dr. Hagen who was great with my male who is very needy when it comes to having attention when he is in the vet. He is not always the most cooperative and she was very kind with all of my questions and concerns.

They are a great vet for your pet. My dog had a scratch on his eye and they treated him wonderfully. Though I would have preferred they hadn't put a muzzle on him. But I can understand the concern since he's a big dog. They are kinda expensive but probably the best quality treatment for the money around grand forks. Though I wish they could do payment plans.

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. When I brought my puppy in we were patronized about feeding our dogs raw meat the entire visit and was diagnosed with coccidiosis. That following week they told me they were giving him a distemper shot. They gave him 3 shots knowingly knowing he was still sick!!!! They continued to rant on us about the raw diet that had nothing to do with the visit. And just today we needed ER services, sadly they were the only ones that have that service the Vet seemed to lazy to want to come in saying he couldn't do anything. Yeah I'll let everyone know you can't do your job! Sickening

Although my dog received care here, his passing brought to light the glaring customer service challenges and lack of customer importance. Upon the unexpected death of my fur baby when calling to inquire on cremation options I was very aware that I was interrupting their day. No words of concern or sympathy. A week later when I called to have his death documented in his record... Again no words of sympathy. I was acutely aware that the welfare of my pet was not why they were working. My disappointment made me question the care of my pet and seriously doubt I can trust their abilities to care for another.

They were very compassionate when I had to put down my old service dog. I then took my young, service dog in training, for her spay. They called & texted to remind me of her appointment. They also called to informed me when she was in recovery. I would definitely rate them higher than a 5.

I was happy with my dogs care. The only part that I thought could be improved is the level of communication before the surgery took place. I originally called and asked about what the recovery period looks like, and they said my dog would be back to normal in about a day. However, after I picked him up from a surgery, we had a big list of “no-no’s” that runs for 2 weeks. Not that it would change anything, but it caught me off guard and forced us to change our schedule to best care for our pet.

Will NEVER take a single animal there. Had been offered a FREE visit when my first dog was obtained many years ago and apparently due to a fee on this so called “free” visit which wasn’t paid because I hadn’t been told of this right away, they won’t work with someone regarding their overpriced services. Now thanks to this my current pet cannot receive his treatments here. The fee wound up being paid but now these “animal helpers” will offer no help to an animal whose life is in jeopardy. Unless you want to receive additional fees that aren’t disclosed, be treated very rudely to about the situation, and are able to pay in complete for overpriced services from a place only interested in your money and not your animals well-being; don’t take your pets here, they derserve better.

I called and spoke with Heidi and asked if I could pay over the phone and if they could leave the food outside someplace and I would pick it up after work. She did one better than that. Worst vet I've ever seen. Had no clue what was wrong and didn't want to put in the effort to find out. Prescribed two medications which are hard on the liver and can cause liver damage to a pet with a history of liver issues... and now has liver damage. Do your pet a favour. Go anywhere else.

Dr. Zolondek is great with animals and provides above and beyond service. A few years ago she took an emergency call for my animal that was in tough shape and reeling in pain. I wasn't sure what to do next and it was the weekend. I called in and got forwarded to Dr. Zolondek. She told me to come in as soon as I could and she would meet us at the office.
