This is above and beyond the best place I have taken my pet. I have a ferret, which is considered an "exotic animal" and after 1 visit to get his teeth cleaned, they diagnosed him with a more serious issue. A spleen multiple times its own size. The amount of care and professionalism each staff member had was apparent immediately. They fit him in to surgery quickly, and were extremely nice caretakers during and post-operatively. The vet herself was personable, comforting, and informative. I am so happy to have had my pet in their care. I'd recommend to this clinic to anyone.

Had the best experience at Core clinic today. I recently adopted a dog from the local shelter. I brought him to Core clinic to get a second opinion regarding questions I had about his ears and a spot on his leg. Veterinary Raby and Vet Tech Natalie were both so knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer my questions. Unlike the first vet office I took my dog to, the staff at Core took my concerns seriously and confirmed that my gut feeling about the original vets diagnosis was not a good diagnosis. Turns out that my dog has a double ear infection and some bacteria on the spot on his leg. Vet Raby and Vet tech Natalie treated my dog and now he is on his way to getting better. Thank you so much!

All the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. I bring all of my dogs and cats here for all their health concerns. I love their new location as it's much closer and convenient to access than it was previously.

I'm not sure what's happened. This used to be the only place I would take my pets. The only place I trusted. But now getting a call back or any sort of help is non existent. My elderly cat who has never been anywhere else is now needing a new vet for end of life care. I'm so disappointed.

The Dr. is kind, and thorough. She treats your pets like they are her own. The staff is amazing. We unfortunately had to put our dog down due to cancer and age. They gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye even though it was after closing time when we finally left.

If I could give negative stars I would. Took our pet to her, she swore she could treat her. Gave incorrect meds for a yeast infection which caused a fungal infection, then REFUSED to treat pet. Took pet to another vet for treatment and she REFUSED to speak with the vet re prior treatment. Her incorrect treatment caused major issues with pet, which eventually resulted in her death. This was an ETA for my child, so the trauma to her was great as well. Would never take another animal to this place or recommend

I brought my dog here for a second opinion after being hit by a car & receiving terrible care at Pinkerton. The staff was so compassionate and knew exactly what they were doing. They found issues that Pinkerton never even acknowledged and by their actions & care, saved my dogs life. I'm so beyond grateful for finding this vet and I'm amazed at their knowledge and attentive care. My dogs will forever be going here. Highly recommend!

This is not a "mass appointment" clinic. This is the vet to see if you love your fur babies and want the best care possible. Doc M. and her staff have been wonderful from day one‐from routine visits to helping one of our Danes transition to the afterlife recently. We would never consider taking our puppers anywhere else!

I could not begin to thank the staff enough for the treatment of my cat Cookie at Core. I learned ALOT what the vet community in Minot is all about. Before I write a story what I have to say is thanks a bunch for not price gouging to the nth degree and now Cookie is laying on his back purring like a cat that just needed some love by a person that could give him the treatment he needed.

Absolutely amazed at the uncaring attitude of this place !!! Brought my 15 yr old retired police canine in an emergency and was told “I’m sorry we’re totally booked.” Might reconsider this place if your family member has an emergency.

I called Sunday for my cat who wasn’t acting like himself,I brought him in for emergency service which is fine, the following day the vet called and said that she gave him a catheter and sedated him that he would be good for a discharge on Tuesday. Tuesday came around and I went to pick up my cat they said he wasn’t friendly so they weren’t able to give him an iv because he woke up from the sedation and hasn’t ate or drank he might be better at home. I bring him home and he could barely walk, he threw up twice, wouldn’t stop moaning and literally couldn’t get off the ground. I called back to tell them he was worse off and the receptionist said that the bill would be the same or more from the initial visit,$430. All they did was argue with me about the bill. Very insensitive and negligent towards stress and emotion.

Dr. Merwin and her staff are absolutely amazing. I trust them 110%. My dogs and I have been through quite the ringer over the past couple years with knee surgeries and what not and Dr. Merwin has been there every step of the way. Vet techs Nat, Chels, and Jeanie are so awesome, you can trust your animals with them no matter what!
