The team of Veterinarians , technicians and staff at Casselton Veterinary Services are amazing. They truly care about the health and well being of each of our dogs and cats. There is no "one size fits all" plan but each animal receives the unique, individualized care plan. The veterinarians and support staff are always striving to learn more and expand their abilities to treat the tough cases.

I absolutely adore Casselton, if I had left my cat at Prairie Winds Vet in Fargo I'm certain she would be dead. Instead Casselton did everything in their power to help my baby girl and I am so thankful for that (surgery, medications, syringe feeding etc) They actually cared about Rose's comfort and well being and worked with me to allow me to come see her everyday (the one day I didn't go see her she became withdrawn and depressed). She was in their care for almost a week so yes it was a pretty penny between meds surgery and almost a week of hospitalization but it was so worth it because now I have my baby girl back. My favorite moment was when I took her in for her 2 week re-check and the vet tech who was our initial vet tech (Brandi I believe, we had a lot by the end) heard she was in the clinic and came into the room just to see her. That made my heart soar since she was the one who had to remove Rose from the carrier by dragging her bed out because Rose didn't have the energy to stand, she carried her so gently then that I would have been happy knowing her last moments were in the arms of someone so caring if Rose wouldn't have made it. At her re-check Rose was walking around and rubbing up against everybody and talking to all that would listen so I am glad Brandi got to see Rose how she normally is. I will never bring another pet to Prairie Winds Vet again, Casselton is my go to vet from now on!

great service by all.

I have always loved Casselton vet clinic and recommended them highly, however the last time I called there to ask a simple question the receptionist Allie, treated me like complete trash. She laughed as she put me on hold and then made several condescending remakes to me before I chose to end the phone call. They’ve obviously let the quality of their staff slip because in the ten years that I’ve been going there I have never expirenced anything like it.

Worth the short drive from West Fargo. They treat my dog like it is one of their own pets. Very kind and loving staff. Dr. realized my pup was nervous and took the extra time to make sure he and my pup stayed safe and got him called down. Pricing is very reasonable and I promise you won't get sicker shock.

Tyler Walker

Great experience! This was the my first visit and everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. They got me in quick and they were able to get my pup back to full health in no time! Our Veterinarian was Tyler Bengtson and she was absolutely wonderful! They definitely earned a returning customer here!

Aaron Meyer

The doctors are great but the service from the vet assistants is unreliable. After a surgery the vet assistants forgot to remove all the stitches from my dog. I had to ask the doctor to remove the rest.

I am very disappointed with my latest Casselton Equine emergency service. This spring I had a septic colt (he didn’t get his colostrum so he didn’t get his antibodies and his body became infected). I realized he was septic when I got home that night at 7pm and he couldn’t stand up. So my only option was to bring him to the vet or he wouldn’t make it. I called Casselton and they were willing to meet me at their clinic later that night. We drove to Casselton with the colt in the back seat of the pickup. He was going down hill FAST. Before I had gotten there I had requested that he gets plasma right away. So they started to thaw it before we arrived. There were 3-4 staff on site when we arrived. We carried the colt inside and laid him on a table. They got his bloodwork down and confirmed he had an infection in his blood. The vet tech first tried to get the catheter in (he was very dehydrated) so it was challenging. She tried for roughly a half hour. The clock is ticking at this point. Then the vet attempted to get the catheter in and he was unable to after multiple tries. He called another vet to come in and he was unable to. So I was left with the option of leaving him to die or go to another vet. Luckily we knew another vet close by so we called and they were able to see him. This was at 12:30pm. As we were leaving, the vet specifically said “I’m really sorry, we will only charge you for the bloodwork”. I really appreciated that after all that had happened in the last hr. Or that didn’t happen I guess. So they sent me on my way with the plasma and a few other consumables (because they were no use to them now as they were prepped for my colt). The other vet was able to get the catheter in and start running fluids. Thank goodness. This colt was only a few days old and he had cost me roughly $3000 already with the other vet. And I accepted the fact that he still might not make it. A month later, I get a bill from Casselton for $691. This blew my mind. I looked at it and instantly thought “Wow they must have not communicated to the person putting together the invoice what had happened.” So I called and explained to the staff what had happened and how it had to be a mistake. Long story short, they took off $100 for the 10 catheters they used to poke the colt. But still charged me for all the consumables, that they would have thrown away if I wouldn’t have taken them, because they weren’t able to get the catheter in. I do not recommend the equine vet clinic to anyone. Very poor communication and skill on their emergency crew that night. I’ve done quite a bit of business with them before. I was very disappointed with how they handled this situation. They are charging me roughly $600 for poking my colt about 15 times and failing to help him. So sad.

My dog received great care. The doctor and the vet technician took time to answer my questions and care about me a well as my dog!

Dr. Bartholomay and his staff were great! My dog was there for acupuncture and chiropractic care, but every visit they took the time to do a full exam to see how my dog was doing. He suffers from chronic ear infections and during one visit they found out he had an ear infection and aggressively treated it until it was gone. Without their attentive care it wouldn't have been treated so quickly and could have gotten much worse. I highly recommend Casselton Vet! They really care about the animials.

One of my favorite vets I've seen in the area!

Amanda Heley

Thank you so much for ACTUALLY listening to my concerns and treating accordingly. My puppy is my baby and you ladies truly treated him as such. A special thank you to Bailey for listening to every concern and making me feel like each point needed attention before the vet came in. After using a vet in Fargo for mediocre care and concern I will take the drive for this vet. Bernie loves you all!!

I have a 14 year old cocker spaniel and a one year old feline that go to Casselton, and I have been satisfied with their services. In addition to my two traditional pets, I also have a miniature potbelly pig. I had a difficult time finding a vet that would provide porcine care or services, but Casselton didn't hesitate. Recently, Helan (pig) began a series of grand mal seizures in the middle of the night, and lost the ability to walk or even stand. She was initially taken to the nearest emergency vet, where I was told there wasn't anything they could do. I called Casselton and spoke to the on-call vet, Dr. Peterson, and drove to Casselton. Helan was seizing when I arrived with her and within a minute of walking in, the staff had Helan in the back and was treating her. After no more than 20 minutes I was brought back to see Helan, who was resting and given IV fluids. She stayed the day and I was updated by phone- the staff even texted me photos of her to assure me she was doing better. Eight hours later, I was able to take Helan home and she has been successfully treated with anticonvulsants. I was especially impressed when I received followup phone calls from Dr. Peterson in the following days, just to see how she was doing. I, without hesitation, highly recommend using CVS for all your veterinary needs .

Great place to take my long haired Chihuahua - the vet and staff are always thorough, kind and helpful! THANK YOU!!

Very upset and disappointed with the Fargo location. This past Thursday, I brought my healthy cat in to get a common wellness check and two shots, but she ended up passing away during her examination. My cat was visibly nervous traveling to the vet, but once in the exam room she seemed fine. The vet tech lifted my cat up with her hands fully around her neck for an extensive amount of time in order for the vet to check her belly. Once she let go of her, my cat collapsed, unconscious, onto the table. They checked for a heartbeat, but it was beating slowly so they took her to a back area to try to resuscitate her. When they returned, they told me that they had given her CPR and a shot in her heart because it had stopped. They also tried putting a breathing tube down her throat, but they were unable to revive her. There was blood around her mouth when they brought her back into the room and they told me she had blood in her lungs. Furthermore, the vet said that she could have died at any time because she probably had some sort of pre-existing lung condition, but nothing was said when my cat's lungs were being checked just minutes before with a stethoscope. And before that day, my cat did not have any visible breathing issues and seemed perfectly healthy. I will never, ever be returning or bringing another beloved pet to this place.

David Hoffman

They are the best ! They are so good with my dog.

Mariah Knutson

We brought our new puppy in for a check. They found things the breeder's vet had missed! I got different suggestions for the problem and was assured it would be watched as she grows. Got lots of info from the vet tech about different things she's done in trainer her dogs, suggested different classes, and gave advice for problems we were having. Ladies out front are very polite, and willing to answer any questions about med refills, and scheduling. Will continue to see any vet from this practice, even when their office in Fargo opens.

Rhonda Franek

I called them and explained my cat wasn’t doing well and needed her to be seen. It turned out we put her to sleep. Dr. Galbreath treated us with kindness and was empathetic towards our saying goodbye to our cat. He treated our cat like it was his own. His technician Morgan also showed empathy and treated us like anyone would want to be treated in that situation.

Over the years,20+, I've been taking my pets to Casselton Vet Service, I've been very satisfied. We've done everything from spay and neuter, wellness exams, orthopedic surgery, dental work, and cataracts. I've had all my questions answered quickly and in depth. With offices in West Fargo now it will be much easier to get to the vet service from my own home.

Julie Devries

Appointment went as scheduled, drop off and pick up were seamless. Questions were answered. Ava Joy came home with us, well taken care of

Heather R

I have to go to Casselton vet on a regular basis due to an ongoing health issue with my dog. I have always been pleased with the vets and vet techs.

Chris Armbrust

My Newfoundland and my Great Pyrenees were both groomed and what an amazing job the groomer did!!! I have use several different groomers in the past but have found my grooming home!!! Plus an attached awesome doggie daycare. Love it!!!

Jessica Van Cleave

The Castleton vet is way better than the emergency vet clinic because whenever I called the emergency vet they’ve just made me have anxiety and cry and doesn’t help the situation when trying to get answers the Castleton vet has always answered my questions and has eased my anxiety when calling they really make me feel better and don’t just give me a “you should really come in”

Susan Vitalis

Sari Harris

They were excellent, ready when we got there and were amazing with my cat who isn’t a fan of strangers. When he got his shots they were so good and quick he didn’t even flinch! I definitely recommend them and will be taking my cat back to them.

Great service and friendly people! They were able to get me in the same day when I was worried about my fur baby and took great care of him!

One star is one too many. We went there for end of life service for our dog, big mistake. We paid upfront as required along with two cast paw prints for my wife and our daughter. What a joke the prints are. I called to see if they were ready, the gal on the phone said yes they were ready. We went to pick them up and the girl said they made a mistake and only made one. Apparently the person making the prints can't read. We have copies of the paperwork showing two. They wrote it off as miscommunication. I guess the person making the prints was in too much of a hurry to read the paper work. The casting sample on the counter was much larger than what we received. U can hardly see the shallow print and it wasn't much larger than our dogs foot. Too make it worse we paid 15 dollars for each one and got about 50 cents worth of modeling clay. They couldn't even bake it. We receieved a soft piece of clay and directions to bake it ourselves at home. If u want a valuable end of life memory with your pet go elsewhere. They did refund the one they didn't make. Gee thanks.

Brought my black lab here due to hearing good things about this vet . Upon An almost 9 month ordeal and around $3,000 dollars later, the mass in my labs ear was left undiagnosed and untreated. I brought my lab to my regular vet in northern MN and he biopsied the sores and the mass. A simple biopsy lead to diagnosis and an unfortunate life expectancy of less than 2 months, this costed about $500 The staff at the casselton veterinary service are worried about nothing more than lining their pockets by running uneducated, unneeded tests and procedures. They are not worried about providing sound health care to correctly treat your pet. The only service the casselton veterinary service provides is a drain to your wallet. They are extremely impersonal towards your pet and treat their customers extremely poor. Upon confrontation of issues with their service they'll give you the run around for months before you have to show up to the business in person, to speak to anyone. If I could give them a lower rate believe me I would. Bring your pet elsewhere and save yourself the headache of dealing with their low quality veterinary services and save yourself a couple thousand bucks. An extremely poor example of a veterinary service in a small community.

Brady Brudvik

This place always goes above and beyond. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will always use this clinic for my pet needs!

Jeremy Zurek

Have brought my rabbits in to get spayed and neutered. Great service and everyone is friendly. Only place I will take my pets.

Samuel S

They were great until my dog needed real help. At that point they ignored messages I left and misdiagnosed my dog multiple times. When I visited another vet they immediately recognized cancer that had spread through his entire body. The way Casselton Veterinary treated the situation made it go from bad to unbearable. I advise you to go elsewhere.

Tiffany Judd

We had our first trip here for a checkup and to schedule a dental clean for our 5 year old pup. The facilities here are outstanding! The vet and technicians were very thorough and explained everything in detail. I felt very welcomed by all the staff and enjoyed the coffee/cappuccino bar! Our family moves a lot so we’ve seen our fair share of vets but this place is by far the best we’ve experienced. I highly recommend!

Amanda Beckley

Went to two clinics before this one to figure out what was making our puppy sick. This great staff got me in for an appointment in SHORT notice and successfully diagnosed my puppy. He is doing great now. I appreciate their service greatly and highly recommend this clinic and their services to all.

Jill Hough

Love Casselton Veterinary Services!!! When living in the area, this was my veterinary location of choice. They provided terrific care for my dog Angel. I was back in the area and brought my beloved dog in for an emergency appointment. The care that she received could not have been better. Everyone from the front desk, technicians, to the veterinarians show care and concern for you and your pet. They provide the small town atmosphere that I like so much along with the quality care and knowledge that provides confidence in the service.

Been going to Casselton vet for many years with my horses, dogs and cats. I have always been happy with the treatment my pets have received. Allie was very helpful when I had some questions about a medication that lost in the mail. She took the time to check into the issue and got back to me as soon as she figured it out.

They went above and beyond to help me get my international pet certificate. Randi worked on the weekend, just to meet my tight deadline. Very kind staff.

We travel from Fargo to Casselton vet because we love how they treat not only our pets but us as well. Always such nice staff, vet techs, and DMVs no matter who we get. Very impressionable customer service and we will continue to travel to get such awesome care!

Janelle Marcotte

So thankful for Dr. Petersen's care I received for my dog Rigley! Everyone is so kind and helpful, their services are the best! I drive 2 hours just knowing that Rigley and myself will feel so much better when we drive another 2 hours back home. Thank you!

Bernie Mortenson

I have been going to the Casselton Veterinary Service in Casselton for years. I would not take our pets anywhere else. We live 50 miles away, but will always make the trip. They are so kind, caring and very knowledgable. They treat our pets as if they were theirs. From the receptionists, techs, lab assistants, to the veterinarians ALL are wonderful. Great place and experience.

Becky Cronin

Their website made it super easy to book appointments for my 2 cats. The wait time was less than 5 minutes when we got there. We were brought back to the room right on time. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything in detail. She answered all of my questions. My cats were definitely in good hands. It's very convenient having them in Fargo now and not just Casselton. Would highly recommend!

Julie LoylieBroette

My dog was feeling sick and I got him to both locations. It's quite a drive from the FM area to Casselton, I'll tell you that, but it was worth it; I highly suggest this location. The Veterinarian and the Tech were so nice. They did all the tests and imaging, informed me on what was wrong with my pet, even went out of their way to step out of their office to say goodbye to my dog and I before we left. They understood my feelings. The Fargo area one has a newer facility, but it seems like the workers over in the Casselton area are more genuine (it could just be my experience too). I said "Thank you" so many times.

Randi was the most helpful person I have ever worked with. She helped me with all of my paperwork to bring my dog to Germany, going above and beyond when Fedex sent the time sensitive paperwork to the wrong city, and made sure that I got everything back and signed from the USDA with days to spare. Cannot recommend enough overall and especially if you need to transport a pet.

AWESOME SERVICE! TAKE ALL MY DOGS HERE FOR THEIR CARE AND THEY ARE ALWAYS SO PROFESSIONAL AND PRICES ARE VERY RESONABLE! ALSO HAD MY DOGS PUPPIES IN FOR SHOTS AND THEY WERE SO ORGANIZED AND HELPFUL, 10 PUPPIES IS NOT ALWAYS EASY! WONT EVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I normally go to my local vet service since it's close and convenient (and kind as well, I"m definitely not knocking my local vet!) but when my dog Kimber needed a surgery my local vet couldn't provide, I found Dr. Laurie at Casselton Vet Services. Aside from the beautiful and clean facility the staff was amazing, kind and thorough. Kimber needed an x-ray to help figure out her knee issue, and when I mentioned (as an embarrassed side note, like when you notice your kids are still wearing their pajamas at Walmart and you run into someone you know) as a side note mentioned that her nails needed clipping..they did it while she was asleep getting the x-ray. These kind of little thoughtful things, added in with all the big things, make this an office I'll be sticking with.

Neil Hoefs

We brought our lab in Saturday morning and the dr and tech were awesome in helping her and took great care of her. We were able to make it back the next morning and bring her home. Great service especially on a weekend! Will be taking our future business to them from now on.

Avery Keller

We started bringing our animals here when we adopted a kitten in August of this year. From day one, they have treated both of our cats amazingly well. Our kitten can be squirmy and a little fiesty when getting shots, and they always handle her gently and with the utmost care. The doctors here have patiently answered any question I have had, and explained any kind of treatment for my cats carefully. An incredibly talented team! I am very excited for them to open their Fargo clinic!

Love the care the put towards my dog, and the information they give me to help take the best care of him. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I feel that my dog is treated the same as one of their own and not just a patient. These people are wonderful!

Lootz

Excellent veterinarians and staff! No pressure, gave us all of our treatment options and recommendations. Went above and beyond our expectations.

Jaxine Carlson

Very clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I love the divided waiting rooms to keep pets from getting to anxious. Great service.

Casi Sprecher

My papillion has uncommon brushite stones and the staff has been so accommodating with remmington in making sure his surgery went well. They have even called twice to check on him. It is so nice to find a vet that is not in the business for money, but solely for the love of the pet. We love casselton!

Andy R

Best veterinary care for my pets. They are very helpful and answered all of my questions when my pets have been ill. Wouldn't take them anywhere else!

Desi Mcgoven

I will not be going back to this place. Brought my 5 month old German Shepherd puppy and was immediately told that I need to put her in puppy classes because that’s what that type of dog needs. Then they took her back to get a urine sample and when she was brought back to me they told me that they got the sample using a needle. They did an invasive procedure on my dog without my knowledge. Any other vet would try to get a sample by taking them outside before deciding to be invasive. And of course it costed more. They are ignorant to certain dog breeds and are condescending. Not worth the money.

Charlie Johnson

Wonderful kind staff and are in the best interests of your pets health and happiness was very relieved to have such experienced and knowledgeable vets.

Kimberly Neisen

They were very friendly, helpful, and my kitten was extremely comfortable!

Mark Magelky

Brought my rabbit in on Monday, April 15. The vet had never seen the issue but seemed to get it figure out. He scheduled another appointment for Friday. The sad and poor thing is he didn't do a consult with anyone who actually knew what needed to be done. So when I came for the followup for the bunny his suggestion was to get surgery. So at that time he called a specialist and was told surgery was not the best route and there are other ways to treat. Now it's Saturday and the rabbit is not doing well and I have to wait until Monday to talk to the specialist. I don't think the poor little guy will make it to Monday. This consult should have been done right after we were in on Monday not 4 days later. Poor execution and the words that they care about the bunny are disproved by the vets actions. Very disappointing.

Sara Wakeford

My now 12 year old dog had a serious back problem that caused her to barely walk. After getting in and 3 days, you'd never know anything was wrong. They are really amazing!! Her chiropractic and acupuncture have done wonders for her. I've switched all 4 of my furbabies to there. I recommend them to everyone!!! I simply love this place, total top notch.

Ashley Zumbaum

I decided to take my animals to Casselton after my late Daisy was diagnosed with anal gland cancer in 2018. Dr. Bartholomay provided excellent care for us from the beginning. He did an amazing job on her surgery and Daisy enjoyed her recheck appointments. I recently took my 4 year old to see him due to her snapping at her previous vet the year before. I was impressed by how well she responded to him! I will not be going anywhere else for my veterinarian needs! Thank you Casselton vet staff for all you do!

Jenn

I appreciate that casselton has a doctor that has knowledge about natural remedies rather than prescribing meds for everything. Dr Bartolomay looked at the fresh food diet I’m feeding my dog and told me what to add to it to make it more well rounded. He also gave my dog some titer tests at my request, because I want to stay away from vaccine boosters. The front desk staff and vet techs are always helpful too.

Aja Davis

Being a 1st time pet owner: Casselton Vet went above & beyond my expectations. They were super friendly & more than willing to help address our French/English bulldog mix allergies. Poor pup had a double ear infection & won her over right away. They were very caring w/ her. I couldn't have been more happier with our experience.

Marti Olson

The vet tech and the doctor were very nice and caring towards are animal n Us. And they explained things to us very well. And I like that they call and check up on are animals to see how they are doing and if we have questions or concerns.

Haley Frost

Our puppy has had a rough start in life due to idiopathic epilepsy, but Casselton Vet helped us get our little girl's health back on track so she can get back to being a normal puppy. We've had many ups and downs over the past few months, but they've been with us every step of the way. They've offered encouragement and tactile solutions to keeping our pup happy and healthy.

Jay Sandt

I called yesterday and stressed that I was advised by a local vet my dog has less than a week. I wanted a second opinion, possibly using Casselton Vets CT machine which most vets do not have. I received no call back. Kinda sad since I use to go here, and I am in desperate situation the make the best choice possible for a supposedly dying dog.

Caleb Stubstad

Awful experience. Vet seemed nervous and uneducated. We were charged for services we did not ask for, weren't told about and were unnecessary. Our cat received shots that were up to date and we were charged even with records proving they weren't required. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone that cares about their pets.

Timothy Zentgraf

This is truly the number 1 place to bring your pet for any and all types of services. I would recommend Casselton Veterinary Service to anyone, they are great!

Kory Johnson

Took under 15 minutes to register and get my dog his shots. No wait times. They love to give your dog an abundant amount of treats.

Allie Ressler

This is a good area vet. Sometimes they get a little busy up front and you end up waiting awhile to get checked out. I like they have reserved emergency appointments each day if you call early enough you should be able to get your dog in the same day.

Janka Masinda

I moved from Edina MN and i try few vets for my 3 shar peis in Fargo. I was disappointed by few. So my friends recommended Casselton vet. So i took my babies for check up. One day my 2 females got in horrifying fight and i had to take them to Casselton vet in Fargo. I cant thanks enough for all stuff and especially Dr Bjerke who took very good care of them. I highly recommend Casselton vet in Fargo and Casselton .

Stephanie Manesis

Dr. Bartholomay rocks! He is an awesome holistic vet. Well worth the drive out there. Would highly recommend this clinic!!!!

Tehryn Odermann

TL;DR: 10/10 Would recommend. My kitty was acting off after I had gotten home from work, and as we had experienced something similar before, I called our usual vet. I was told they were booked until Tuesday, but it did sound like something that should be seen immediately and to call the ER. Several of my friends have taken their cats to Casselton on an emergency trip, so I decided to call up to see if they could fit us in. Two hours later we're in the room and she's getting checked out. We were given two options, both of which they said would help the problem, I could take her home and monitor (cheaper) or we could have them help her along with her problem and they'd monitor her (more expensive). We took the more "expensive" route, and it was HALF the price we paid the first time this happened at the Red River Emergency Vet Clinic. Dr. Bengston was super knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. She made sure we understood the issue, the fix, and future preventative measures and didn't pressure us either way on which treatment option to take. I would highly recommend this clinic and I plan on bringing all of my pets here in the future for their care. Knowing that I don't have to take her somewhere else in case of emergencies because they're full for the week is definitely worth the slightly longer drive.

I love this vet! They were able to get me a same day appt. for my dog Riley and were extremely helpful. They updated all of her shots and explained everything every step of the way. They also gave me price estimates before doing anything so I knew what I would owe ahead of time. They treated Riley like their own and I couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommended!!

Kathy Rossow

I was referred to the Casselton vet by my local vet and I will be thankful forever. I would have never thought that one of the most advanced vet clinics was nestled in this tiny town. Dr. Bartholomay is a gifted veterinarian. He accurately diagnosed my pug's problem and performed the first needed surgery. We will be returning to Casselton for the second surgery and this time I am going with confidence. The entire staff was extremely kind and professional making this whole experience easier. Definitely worth the three hour drive.

Jesse JTT

Beware! If you love your pet do not, i repeat Do Not! go to Casselton! I took my cat there for a few lumps i noticed on my cats sides and the doctor told me that they were just his organs bulging a bit because he was a thin cat. He put my cat on heavy steroids after tons of blood work, causing my cat to become very sick over the course of a month. The technician also hurt my pet by trying to take his temperature and slipped while holding him, causing bleeding from the back end and bleeding, they denied it! The exams were half done and the doctor cried about how he helped me with 25$ towards a bill that i did not ask for, my pet was treated like trash by them. The 1st visit he did not check under his tongue, the last visit over a month later he did and told me that there was a mass underneath his tongue and a liver mass, telling me its time... My cat never had these issue before the treatments (prednisolone) very dangerous drug and animals become dependent on it which is bad. Stopping there immune system. I spent a lot of money and trusted this doctor called Bjerke. My cat, a 6 year old healthy skinny cat is now gone... I had taken my pet to another clinic for a second opinion and Casselton said they had sent the records over, come to find out the records were not for my pet but of (conversation i had with casselton over the month) The 2nd doctor at the other clinic pretended to read his records telling me ( It's time, time to put him to rest.) fraudulent doctors and the worst staff. They have young girls work the counter for show and techs that put so much perfume on them causing pets to get stressed out due to the whoring up they do behind doors. God bless my cats soul, my life revolved around him, he is my everything! There are too many things that they did wrong to mention here but i am going to get this place shut down! for malpractice/ wrongful death due to these doctors that have no real knowledge other than to take your money and kill your pet!

Cindy Linderkamp

From the moment we walked into the door with our cat, the personnel from the receptionist to the vet assistant, we were treated as if my cat was at a day spa. As we entered the room, once again Beth, the vet assistant did everything to make our cat feel comfortable and needless to say, and spoiled him rotten. Dr. Schmid was very professional with her diagnosis. She knew right away what was the issue. The cat is doing much better. I would definitely recommend Casselton Vet Service. Our pets are important to us and the vet service definitely respects that and treats them like royalty. I really appreciate the follow up call regarding how the cat is doing and asked if there is any questions or concerns. Thank you so much!

We have taken our dogs here form many years and they are the best. They really care about your pet. They are a little higher priced than other vets in the area, but they are the best!

Great veterinary clinic. However, there is one receptionist who makes no effort to hide her unhappiness on site and on the phone. She is consistently unpleasant. The other staff members are wonderful, but visits could be even better if this particular receptionist would make an effort to be friendly and courteous, especially because she is one of the first people you encounter during a visit. Regardless of the receptionist, the clinic deserves five stars.

It's a bit of a drive for us but its worth it. Duke likes the people there and gets along with them just fine. They always do a good job at keeping Duke distracted and have peanut butter for him when he needs a shot or blood drawn.

Our dog was injured and this clinic was able to get us in right away. The doctor and his team took excellent care of him. The bill was reasonable. He is feeling much better now. Thank you. Edited to add- this was the Casselton location.

They are awesome to work with. They truly care about you and your pet and will do whatever they can to make sure your pet has the treatment, care and even medications they need when they need them. I'm a client for life!
