MaryAnn and Ginger get excited when we park outside the vet office, because they know the girls inside will spoil them and give them the best care! Every time I have had a question, they have answered it or will research it and let me know what they find. Emergency care is one of the special reasons why I go here.

I am so happy to have found a veterinary clinic with doctors and a staff who take our pets' health and welfare as seriously as we do! With their help I decided it was time to let her go to a place where she no longer was feeling miserable. It was a tough thing to do, but they let me stay and pet her until she peacefully said goodbye

My chaweenie, Honey, possibly had the worst breath on the planet and needed her teeth cleaned so badly. The staff at Bismarck Animal Clinic took such good care of her and her mouth is now exceptionally healthy. I know she feels so much better. Our 6 pound Yorkshire Terrier broke her leg on Sunday evening, we decided to go in the morning to Bismarck Animal Clinic, upon arrival we were greeted by one of the grumpiest people I have ever encountered at an animal care facility, basically she told us they were too busy to look at our dog or make any suggestions on how we might be able to get her treated. She gave us the addresses of another clinic in Bismarck without offering any other solutions. Poor service and very uncaring if you are from out of State, if you require your pet to go for help please don’t take them here, best to go to Missouri Valley Vet, fast and prompt service, very caring business.

Dr. Parsons and Cassie were on call the night our hedgehog had an accident. They stayed till 1:15 am to complete a surgery on him. By 8:30 am the following morning they were back in the office and had called me letting me know how he was doing. Dr. Parsons gave us all the options and made sure we were making an informed decision. We are forever grateful for the amazing care, friendliness, and compassion of the entire team at Bismarck Animal Hospital.

My Maggie Doodles got very sick with vomiting and bloody stools. Bismarck Animal Clinic and Hospital got her in right away. They were thorough with x-rays and blood tests to diagnose her condition. Maggie started improving as soon as she got on her medication and made a full recovery. The clinic called on a regular basis to check up Maggie's condition in between follow-up appointments. They have always been great, even for when I call and ask them to send a kennel a copy of the shot records. They send me reminders for shot records and I can make appointments online. Also, love the fact there are separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats.

They were very nice when I first came in, but I strongly disliked that they took my dog out of the room for her shots. I want to see what service I'm paying for, and I want to meet the vet or tech that is examining and giving shots to my animal, I did not like that at all. The estimate I got over the phone for cost was also almost double what they said it would be. I have to assume my dog actually got her shots, but the whole thing made me uncomfortable.

The staff and everything where ok in general, but when it came to actual animal care it was as if they knew nothing about my kitten and what was wrong with it. The vet kept on giving me meds to give to her without running any tests or anything. Eventually I had to take my cat the another clinic to get treated. The clinic I took her too was in disbelief that they where giving my kitten these meds without doing any work to see if she had this virus. Now my kitten is healthy and happy no thanks to Bismarck animal clinic. Wish I could’ve gotten all my money back on all the pills and liquid meds they gave me. Sad to see that a clinic could operate like this and still have there liscence.

Our two dogs visit the vet often. One of them has severe allergies and the other has severe separation anxiety. The clinic we used to go to weren't really willing to work with us to find solutions for our two dogs. This led us to switch to Bismarck Animal Clinic & Hospital. We are so happy that we did. The vets have worked hard to find the best solutions for our pups. They are also really great with the dogs. The vets will get right down on the floor and pet them and give them attention even after the examination is done. Everyone at this clinic is friendly and loves animals. We couldn't be happier with the service and attention we've gotten at this clinic. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

We have been using Bismarck Animal Clinic for close to 30 years. From Dr Bucholtz to the next generation of veterinarians, Dr Kubik and Dr Parsons. Along with the veterinarian techs and supporting staff, they are caring and compassionate. And not just for our dogs. This makes each visit feel that our dogs are getting the best care. They simply are the best!

Very professional, and they will spend the time with you to explain everything and answer any questions. After our old vet retired, we went to another vet office in Bismarck after my dog was limping. The other vet, Missouri valley, told us he had a torn acl and we needed surgery, anywhere from $1500-2500. We got a second opinion from Bismarck animal clinic and they found a cut on his toe pad. $8 of antibiotics and a $50 visit, the next day he was running around, problem solved. We will stick with these guys from now on. Like I said. If you have any questions about care, medicines, behavior issues, every vet I have seen here does a great job in answering these questions. They will take the time to answer all of them. A little spendy but I'm guessing it isn't any cheaper that anywhere else.

I am so impressed with BAC&H! My dog was very sick and they got us in right in that day. All clinics I have been to have been kind of dirty looking and smell like..well animals! This place smelled clean and fresh when walking in. It did not have that "grungy" feel I have experienced at other facilities. Our vet was wonderful too! She was on the floor with my dog to check him out, petting and talking to him so he would feel comfortable. They even followed up with a phone call a few days later to check on him. I am beyond impressed! I will drive the 1.5 hours to see this vet rather than my local vet.

We have used Bismarck Animal Clinic and Hospital for the past 23 years and all 5 or our family pets (3 current, 2 which we had to put to sleep, each at a ripe old 15 years of age). They have provided consistent, compassionate, up to date veterinary care for all the various things we have needed: new puppy/kitty vaccines; spay and neutering; dental care; yearly exams/vaccines; heart worm prophylaxis; occasional illness; and euthanizing when that sad time came with our first 2 pets - even sending our family a sweet card each time! The staff is experienced and friendly and all love on our pets whenever we come in. We would recommend them to anyone!

I am so grateful to the wonderful vet, Kelly and the tech Cassie. These devoted ladies spent 12 hours with me and my dog on Thanksgiving through the very difficult delivery of 7 pups. They did not rush to surgery and allowed my dog to birth 4 until surgery was our only option to deliver the last 3. All 8 are home, Mom is nursing well and her pups are fat and healthy. These ladies saved the day, my dog and the pups. Such a positive experience.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Finally found not only a good clinic, but a great one. Entire staff was friendly, polite and competent. I have been trying different places for almost a year, desperately trying to find a vet/staff that I found to be competent and compassionate, thank God I've found them! Staff are great but I had an issue. I was told my puppy could not recieve a surgical procedure if i didnt clip his bag's. I understand the concern. I had no intention of breeding my dog let alone allow him to mate! He is my property and it's my decision to have that done or not. Failing to provide a surgical procedure that had nothing to do or related to him being clipped had me upset in many way's. I appreciate the concern and opinion. But in the end it's my choice. Dropped the ball!!! Im takeing my business else where.

5 Stars is not enough. I feel like these guys care about my pups genuinely. When we had a sick boy, they took him in immediately, they told me the upfront cost, explained all his needs very thoroughly. I am lucky to live so close to such a wonderful animal clinic. If you are debating between two places, take Charlie's advice (big ole German Shepard) and go to Bismarck Animal.

They care about our pets. I get in right away, within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Only one time I had to wait, and I was informed right away that there was an emergency case that came in. I would say they are about average with prices. I do recommend them to family and friends.

We were just passing through ND on our way home from vacation and stopped at the clinic because our dog had inhaled an object that was giving him fits of violent sneezing. I was offered two courses of treatment - flushing out his nasal passages to dislodge the object (which would involve anesthesia) or a course of steroids and antihistamines that would give the object a chance to dislodge on its own and allow us to get him home. They actively encouraged me to choose the less aggressive treatment even though it obviously meant less money from a client they knew they would never see again. I will always deeply appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and obvious caring. If I lived anywhere near Bismarck, (I live in Georgia) I would absolutely choose Bismarck Animal Clinic for my animals' care.

ND is a gorgeous state but good, modern animal clinics and practices are very few - if at all. Dr. Visger is pure excellence in a town so small. She exceeded my expectations and was very attentive to my little girl. Very proud to have Paisley under her care!!

Bismarck Animal Clinic is wonderful! I have been taking my cat and dog there to see Dr. Hollee for a few years now. The staff is always very caring and compassionate. They truly care about your pet and have their best interest in mind. I had to put my 19 year old cat down there a few years back and the Animal Clinic went above and beyond to make the situation as best as it could be. We've been taking our kitties to Bismarck Animal Clinic since I moved here in 1983. Several cats and docs later, they're still taking good care of our animals. Outside of excellent routine care, we also experienced how they handle emergency care. The day before Christmas last year our elder kitty became dangerously ill and had to be hospitalized over the holiday. The doc on call (Parsons) and staff were great, and our kitty received excellent care despite the holiday. We were kept informed through regular phone calls and our kitty came back from what surely would have been a fatal event without intervention. We're loyal customers to this business and would recommend the staff to anyone.
