He plays rough so sometimes we can't schedule his visits, whenever that happens they get us right in. When we moved here from SWFL I tried a few vets b4 finally finding them, and in the year that we have been receiving treatment from them, me &Mr.Mann(my pittie) have no complaints. SFAH's staff is wonderful nd caring, so glad/blessed to have them as our Home Vet.

I love this full-service veterinary office because they are always very flexible on scheduling hey, the staff is very friendly, they're not pushy about trying to force extra services on you. So far we've taken our dog and two cats. I love that they have two separate waiting rooms one for dogs one for cats. Reasonable prices and good service.

This veterinarian office is amazing for animals!! Everyone is so sweet and gentle. My Chihuahua has passed away November 2017 from different sicknesses such as heart conditions. Saint Francis Animal Hospital did everything in their power to give my sweet baby boy all the medicine he needed so he can stay on earth for a few more months with me and my family. My black chihuahua a little more than a year ago. Again, this animals hospital thought it was time for my other sweer boy to go to heaven and release him from stress and suffering. Thank you Saint Francis Animals Hospital for everything!!! I love Animals so much and I especially love my pets and y’all have done so much help for them❤️

This animal hospital was great. From the receptionist, to the vet assistant, and the vet herself, Dr Trudyanne Swanda. Very caring & professional. Although I wasn’t able to afford all that was needed for my dog at this time, I wasn’t treated like I was the worst mother ever. They were understanding of my financial situation and I was able to choose the services I felt was the most needed at this time. I was also given information about what was needed to understand why services are needed. I’ll definitly be going back here. I’ve never felt strong enough about a vet to give a 5 star review or a review period.

I started going to Saint Francis from the beginning, when Dr. Swanda opened her first location about 17-18 years ago. She had a receptionist, and a couple of techs at the time. They have taken care of my 5 cats over the years. I currently have 3 cats as 2 have passed. My eldest cat, Buddy, was recently diagnosed at Saint Francis with stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Dr. Bruner spent 30-45 minutes with us, he was very thorough, explaining the diagnosis and possible treatments. We made an appointment to take Buddy back 2 days later, to have them administer fluids. I requested an estimate for the procedure on 3 different occasions, was promised a call back each time but never got the call back. When we showed up for the appointment, Dr. Bruner was in surgery that day, so Dr. Oden was the available Vet. On a side note, Dr. Oden helped us nurse one of our other kitties back to health several months prior, and we were happy with her services. But on this day that we took Buddy in for his fluids, we were hit with a $230 estimate for that day's procedure . So of course we had no choice because we wanted to do the right thing for him. That is also when we found out that they had purged the files on all 3 of our cats. Our files were in unlabeled boxes in their attic, "no rhyme or reason" to how they were stored along with other purged files. We were told numerous times that files are purged when you haven't used their services for 5 years. And numerous times I told them that we bring our cats in every year for their check up, shots, etc. Not to mention the in between times when they are sick. Needless to say, this was very upsetting to us. I understand that they are extremely busy and see a lot of patients but we have been patients from the beginning and have spent thousands of dollars over the years and they don't even remember my babies....WOW. And now we are dealing with our very sick Buddy, having 2 days to wrap our heads around his sudden illness and then Dr. Oden totally contradicted everything Dr. Bruner had told us, i.e, possibly another illness and different treatments. Instructing us NOT to give him the prescribed meds (we had just spent $60) but to give him other meds that we needed to buy that day. I may have been somewhat unpleasant by this point but decided to take her advice, purchase the new meds and treat Buddy as she had instructed. She stated, and also made a hand written note on his chart that she would follow up with a phone call that Monday to check on him. This was one month ago and still no followup phone call to check on him. This is the first review that I have ever written and it saddens me to give them a bad review, because they have been kind and accommodating for so many years. Even after I made the choice to switch Veterinarians, I haven't gotten a response from Saint Francis.With the MANY receptionists, technicians and Vets in their office, you would think someone would have reached out. Is this to be expected with the growth of residents and visitors in the area and the growth of their business? Long gone are the days of small town care and compassion. I sure miss those days when Dr. Swanda gave me her personal cell number in case of an emergency and the days when they knew my cats by name. :-(

I would like to start by saying St Francis has by far the most caring and compassionate staff I have ever encountered. I am going through some very hard times personally and now I am facing putting my dog Skip to sleep. I came to St Francis to get confirmation that it is the right decision to put my baby down. The receptionist was so caring and came right over and hugged me.....needed it!!!! Dr. Trudy examined my boy so carefully and even got on the floor to look at him and keep him comfortable. She and her vet tech took their time speaking with me and even listening to my favorite stories of our time with Skip.....and being a Vet Tech myself I know how busy their days are but they didn't rush me during my difficult time. The vet tech even found a treat Skip would like since he turned his nose up to the healthy one lol. Thank You Dr Trudy and Staff....just know how much comfort you brought to me and how truly grateful I am to you all. I will never forget what you have done for me and as soon as I get through this heart break I will be back with my Allie girl. Thanks and may God Bless all of you!!!! They helped our little girl cross with dignity and kindness. They took her very quickly and relaxed her and explained the process and eased our minds. They gave us needed information and answered every question. They made a terrible horrible day just a little bit easier...of that's possible. It was obvious that they care about the animals and their people. When I picked up Gypsys ashes 4 days later, the staff had written lovely cards and notes for us and had even made a paw print for us to keep. I will be making St Francis my permanent Vet. The entire staff was amazingly kind. Thank you all

This is absolutely the best place to take your furbaby to. My cat is a senior and although friendly and loving with people while she's in her comfort zone, she does NOT get along with other animals and doesn't do well leaving her home. So the moment she gets a sniff of another animal in her presence, she immediately becomes defensive and almost like a completely different animal. Because of this, it's very difficult taking her to a vet. Past vets have always treated her like she was a nuisance and their body language let me know that they didn't want anything to do with her. I know my baby is hard to deal with, but you never want to feel that way. Saint Francis was absolutely wonderful with her and knew exactly how to handle her for her own well being and everyone else as well. They were very informative and was patient with me while I asked a million questions. They cared, and that means more to me than what they know. I will continue to go there and recommend their services to anyone and everyone who wants the best care for their pets. Thank you so much!

Sparkle and I have gone to St. Francis for over 10 years. He is now 16, deaf, and with heart and rear end problems but still thinks he is a puppy. That says a lot about their care. The staff and super and ever single one is on a first name basis with Sparkle. It's great to go where you know everyone knows your pet and he is not just a number in a huge practice. Based on Google reviews I picked Saint Francis and I have not regretted it. They are wonderful. I have 3 cats and a dog and they have taken EXCELLENT care of all of them. Spend over a hundred for FLEA drops and spray 35 dollars 2700sq ft they said good for 7months a week later same problem said buy another can utill problem was gone then it would be good for 7months for less than a thousand sq feet that I have I am treating my house 2 and a half times for every 35 dollars and they said bring cat back and retreat him with more drops another bill really

We took our dog here the entirety of her life. We always felt blessed she was in such good care. The staff was always very courteous, educational, and gave our Halle so much loving. They wrote us the most heartfelt letter with a lock of her hair attached when we had to let her cross the rainbow bridge. The staff did not need to do something like that, but their kindness continually brings tears to my eyes. This is a great place to take your pet!

I called and they were able to give me an appointment the same day. The entire staff was welcoming and caring. My cat and I could not have been treated better.
