Every time I take Ms. Ella for a visit the doctors there perform a thorough examination. They carefully explaine any changes or abnormalities and walk me through what they are doing or what I may need to look for if they have any concerns. They provide me with useful information and professional recommendations. I have never seen the doctors there assume anything. Sometimes they have more questions for me than I have for them. The staff is curtious, friendly and they are always asking about my family... especially Dr. Lineberger. Many thanks from the Henderson family!

I'm sorry that we haven't been back after we had to put Angel down but I just have to say that although I don't have another dog right now, every animal that we have had for the last 40 years you and ur wife have taken the best care of all our animals!!! And Dr. Reed before you take of all my poppaws animals before that!! I think I missed my calling because of your father in-law. I watched intensely as he work on all his large critters when I was about 5. I had my whole arm up a heffer that was in trouble at 12 to turn her baby so he could put a chain on her front hoofs a I learnt that from Dr Reed!!! You are the only Vet I will ever take my future animals to!!! But we decided to wait for a year so we might be ready!!! We have her ashes and in the spring we are going to put them at the roots of a white cherry blossom tree in tribute to her being an albino!!! Thanks so much for all your help and support!!! My neighbor is a disabled gentleman, his dog was hit by a car on Dec 13th 2017. He was in the hospital at the time and had given me permission to take her to the vet and have her seen. I feared the worst and of course I was told euthanasia was an option since I probably wasn't interested in a expensive surgery. So I decided to wait ended up going to a Urgent Vet in Belmont thanks to the caring ladies over there and I am happy to say the little girl not only survived but keeps getting stronger with every day. I am not happy with the emergency visit on Dec 13th but for regular visits maybe.

Our mini Schnauzer got really sick on a Friday night after our normal vet's office had already closed for the weekend. We started to panic that she might not make it through the weekend. I called Lineberger Animal Hospital Saturday morning hoping the would be able to see her since we weren't a patient of theirs. They got me an appointment for 30 minutes later and worked hard to find out what was wrong with our puppy. Dr Lineberger treated her and we were able to bring her home the same day. We were treated with respect, as was our puppy. The entire staff was courteous and you could tell they really care about the animals who come through the door. I would highly recommend them for your pets needs.

Unimpressive at best. After explaining I had recently adopted an Exotic shorthair cat apprx 8yrs of age w/ an unknown history aside from verbal confirmation from breeder who had health issues and needed an immediate home for the pet. We were told Cat had all shots and the diet was Royal Canin so we felt cat was provided good care prior and shots weren't due again until summer. Dr there went on a super strange, endless rant about rabies vaccine which I had already stated at checkin to do boosters as soon as she was well enough. We came to these folks with a cat that had fallen ill w/ in the last 48hrs and she was fading very, very quickly. After the pointless continued rabies rant and crazy story about a bat could fly in my house and get my cat, all while the (assistant) held this dying cat down with her eyes bulging like she was a rabid mountain lion examine her! Dr continued on his rabies rant to throw in the insult of "I doubt you could afford to keep her here for 6 mos if she bites!" I am thinking omg this cat cannot lift her head! Help her get well, save your unwarranted insults and strange rants (as from step A I had suggested boosters!!??????) and help this cat before she passes. After the first failed attempt to get enough blood I called the game and said thanks but no thanks and we left. Phoned my husband and he said he would meet me and to go to our regular vet that was a bit more of a drive. It was worth it! Our reg vet was familiar with this breed and their mouth structure and flat-faced quirks, challenges etc. This was not the case at the Lineberger facility. So glad we now have a happy, healthy cat again! As a medical professional myself, I was flabbergasted at the how the visit went and the rant and financial digs! My family knows his former staff and some relatives and my hubby and I took our Boston Terrier to him many yrs ago. He did not remember. A very strange experience, maybe they had an off day???

Dr. Hassan was very kind, very capable, and understanding of two frantic cat parents. We were well-treated by the entire staff, and this is exactly what I experience every time I visit the practice. We got his antibiotics and his regular shots for under $70, and nothing was pushed onto us. The staff handled him like professionals, and given that he's a 15 year old cat, the fact that they were gentle but firm and careful was much appreciated. We got there just as they opened, and they took us back almost right away. Awesome service all the way around.

I was extremely disappointed by the lack of care we recieved here. Dr. L is the best vet we ever used. He kind and loving to all the animals. We had a yellow female lab puppy and grew old while the kids got older. She developed cancer later in her years and Dr. L gave her the best care and advice to us when it was finally the best time to put her asleep to keep her from any more pain. Our family was in so much pain when we took her to Dr. L for the last time to watch our baby girl being put to sleep. After Dr L saw our family in so much pain as you could tell that it bothered Dr. L also that he told his staff that he would not charge us for the sedation and told us how sorry he was that this the best decision for us to finally take her from any suffering that she was going through. If I could give negative stars I would. The misdiagnosed two kittens in 2017, so every year I warn people about this place and Wilkinson. I was told they had heart murmurs, that they were un adoptable. So I had a rescue pull them because they didn’t deserve to die in a cage. I was given a little money by the rescue to try to do what we could to save them. I also started a fundraiser. After being told by these places that there was nothing to be done for them, I turned to grace animal hospital. I was told it was pneumonia and they were left there over night to be treated. I was called in the next day to be told that one was doing better, but the other wasn’t. We put him down. I took the other to the 24 hour animal hospital where they could be with him all day and night. He was doing good when we first got there. But sadly only had less than 20% chance. didn’t make it either. They told me had I brought them in as soon as I got them, they would have lived. 2 weeks I had them. Had they examined them better, they would still be alive. Two misdiagnoses.. idiots work here and they over charge for “caring” for your pets.

The concern at this place is about the money they make and not about the animals. The vet was hesitant to offer his advice because he overheard us speaking about how money is tight. He had no problem asking if he found anything wrong with my puppy if we would even be able to pay for it to be fixed. So rude and so disrespectful. I will NOT going back here and will not recommend it to anyone.

Lost my money and my dog. I just got a puppy a couple days ago, and after the next day I got him, he got sick. I though he just ate something bad. After a day, he stopped eating, drinking water, and lost a lot of weight. That's when I knew something serious is happening to my dog. I took him to this vet, cause I though it's a good vet after going through their website; but even that my dog was in a really bad shape, they made us wait for 20min. Then, they started doing some painful testes on him even that they knew he was dying, because he had an incurable virus that kill most puppies, just so the can charge me as much as they can. After that, he died 30min after we left the vet. I though a vet is suppose to save sick animals, I think these guys are just making money out of sick animals. they made my dog go through more pain than he was already going through. It cost me 132$ and watching my dog dying. I hope that 132& will help you to buy a new Conscience.

I have known Dr Lineberger for years. I even worked with him while I was in high school one summer through a school program. I have brought many pets to him but I won't ever again. I brought my pet in for a scheduled spay. This was scheduled weeks ago when I brought her in for a check up and she was brought current with ALL her vaccines. Today I bring in my girl as scheduled, having taken off work, with my sick daughter in tow, and they tell me she needs another vaccine (one she was already given and we had this conversation weeks ago when I was in there with her and she received all the necessary vaccines) and they won't do the surgery unless she has it. First the front desk check-in lady told me this and I explained that she already had it and I was told she wouldn't need it again. So she brings Dr Lineberger to the front and he was SO rude. He has never spoken to me like that before and I've known him for YEARS. All of my family have brought their pets there for years (at my urging) and so did I but that will not be happening anymore. I don't know what is going on with him and if it was just his attitude and how rude he was with me, maybe I would overlook it/chock it up to a bad day, but you are asking that I pay even more money for something that is not necessary in a time when money is tight for everyone. He spoke to me like I was trash, trying to kill everyone else's pets with my "unvaccinated" pet (ahem, she already had the vaccine) and he "just wasn't going to let me do that." If that vaccine was required AGAIN to do this surgery, it should have been required a couple of weeks ago when I brought her in and scheduled this but it seems you guys are hoping I would rather just pay the extra $$ than worry about the hassle of taking her elsewhere and wasting an entire day. However, that is not the case. It is not ok to treat your long-time clients like that, Dr Lineberger. Shame on you. I see I am not the only client that has written reviews about the way you've treated others and hidden costs. I remember the way you were years ago. I don't know what has happened to make this change in you, but it really is a shame. You were one of the best around.
