A welcome addition to our neighborhood. I had been using another veterinary office since we got our dog, Coco, a little over two years ago. Although convenient, they were ridiculously expensive and I never got to see the same vet twice. Dr. Herman’s love for animals really shows through. He does not test unnecessarily, and his prices are extremely fair. The only vet I know where people stop in with their pets just to say hello. Coco doesn’t mind going and I am thrilled to find someone caring, excellent and convenient. Welcome to the neighborhood Dr. Herman!!

Dr. Herman and his team are truly the best. They take the time to make you and your pets feel comfortable. It's a really nice office right across the street from a parking garage. Also it's only a 4 min walk from the Q! Dr. Herman is really good with my cats Lucy and Aidan. Lucy is very difficult but he's super patient with her. I also appreciate that Dr. Herman is honest and doesn't try to push extra services or unnecessary fees on me. He's easy to talk to and relatable. I'm so glad I found an awesome vet. Even if I have to travel all the way from Queens to see him!

Love this place! Love Dr. Herman and his caring and attentive assistant. My dog, Clover, does too and has changed her route at night so she can walk over in the hopes she might see him. Very caring, Dr. Herman explains everything thoroughly, especially to my 10 year old who told him she may be a vet herself one day. As she puts it, Dr. Herman and his staff really seem to be in this business because they truly love animals and care about their well being. Worth noting, Dr. Herman will not over prescribe. He considers everything before deciding the best treatment for your animal. Prices are reasonable.

Veterinarian Spencer Herman at the York Vet Center at 417 East 77th Street has become my vet for Charlie who is a precocious 5 month old Weimaraner. This majestic breed seems to be always getting into trouble and needs the care and concern of a savvy vet. Dr. Herman’s expert full service office is highly affordable and you know that he loves his profession. There seems to be no dog or cat problem he cannot effectively treat. .

Today was a difficult day. Thankfully, I was fortunate to meet Dr. Herman and visit York Veterinary Center. Dr. Herman and his amazing assistant lovingly and sweetly eased the pain for our beloved Thundar. There are no words. Thank you! More. I didn't even look at my receipt until I got home. I was shocked how LOW the charge was for this visit - especially compared to other clinics in my neighborhood. Impressive! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Herman and his team for all of your veterinary needs! This is a great neighborhood veterinary practice. My dog, Winston, loves Dr Herman. He has a great bedside manner. He has taken care of Winston since we brought him home at 8 weeks! Dr Herman has a full practice and takes great care of Winston. His rates are reasonable too!

Dr. Herman and his staff are quite remarkable. My 14 tabby Minnie was not feeling she was pooping outside the litter box and going into corners at she . wouldn't usually go. I took her to see Dr. Herman in late March and she was very sweet with him. Dr. Herman diagnosed with having a growth in her stomach mainly her intestines. He was very honest with me from the beginning and I could have had surgery on my kitty but it would given my kitty many years just a little more time. I did not want her to suffer and he gave her a steroid and a little bit of an I because she was dehydrated. On May 6th I took her back because she was very thin and did not want to eat. She weighed 5 lb and dr. Herman gave me the option what to do and I laid my kitty that I love so much to sleep. Dr. Herman and his staff are so genuine and caring they made me feel welcomed. I was able to say goodbye to my kitty and hold her in my arms once more. Dr. Herman is a phenomenal doctor with a heart first patients and for the people that bring in his patience. I recommend Dr. Herman to anyone seeking help for their four-legged friend or any animal that they have that they love.
