I have been taking my two cats to the New York Cat Hospital for over 3 years, and the staff has always been phenomenal. Dr. Soboroff and his colleagues are very thorough, gentle, and are wonderful with my kitties (same with any other cats I've glimpsed being treated). The vets are always clear about the diagnosis, treatment options, costs (and alternatives, if available). Moreover, whenever either cat has required urgent care, we were able to get an appointment right away and could get in touch with Dr. Soboroff after hours for emergency advice - far better treatment than most human hospitals. I highly recommend bringing your kitties to the New York Cat Hospital.

I love New York Cat Hospital! It was recommended from a friend, I had been trying to find a vet I was comfortable with, these are the people to see. The office is beautiful, the staff is extraordinary! They go above and beyond, they are not only cat friendly they are people friendly too, (that was important to me after having been snapped at by my previous vet for my choice in carriers) The office is cat only so the waiting area is stress free and actually pleasant. My cat needed surgery and the office again went above and beyond, their follow up on my cat was better than my own Dr. after I had surgery! They inspire trust and faith in their practice and have amazing customer service. I highly recommend them and wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.

Dr. Soboroff and the staff at New York Cat Hospital have been absolutely wonderful through thick and thin, and, most importantly, always have their eyes out for your cats' best interests (which sometimes it's easy to lose sight of). I've lost count of the after-hours calls Dr. S has gone out of his way to provide to offer me advice on my schedule. After I lost my first cat to cancer, Dr. S was thoughtful (even went out of his way to provide a donation in her honor to feline cancer research) and, ultimately, helped me find a great pair of older cats when the time was right. It's well worth going out of your way to make NY Cat Hospital your primary vet - I could not recommend them more strongly.

I am am so glad I found Dr. Soboroff and New York Cat Hospital for my girls. I have a diabetic cat, she recently had to have oral surgery and on top of that she seems to have allergies. Needless to say we need to go to the Vet fairly often. Dr. Soboroff is so gentle with her, he clearly loves what he does and is knowledgeable in his field. He offers solutions and advice to take care of your pet without having to break the bank. He recommends what is absolutely necessary and you should listen to him because he will be right. My old girl became like a new kitten once Dr. Soboroff helped regulate her diabetes and took care of all those painful teeth. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional and clearly all cat lovers as well.

Dr. Soboroff is an amazing veterinarian! He is so great with both of our cats and displays a calm demeanor and patience, putting everyone at ease. Our male cat is not a huge fan of getting check-ups and tends to hiss and growl, but he is all talk. Dr. Soboroff speaks softly and does not manhandle him, but instead gains a little bit of his trust to get through the exam. Our female cat definitely prefers Dr. Soboroff to other vets and did not even flinch when getting her rabies vaccination. We tend to ask many questions and express concerns which he addresses thoroughly, recommends options, tests or treatments, but will never push for anything unnecessary just to charge your account. We could not be happier and even if we move from the area we would probably travel to bring them here. Everyone is super nice, friendly and truly loves cats!
