Although I sad time for me and my family, Instavet was very responsive and professional. My elderly dog had to be euthanized and Instavet was able to get a vet and nurse to come to home within 2 hours of me reaching out to them via their website. Everyone that I dealt with was very kind, sympathetic, and professional. I would highly recommend Instavet and will continue to use their services in the future.

These guys were amazing, Elijah was so helpful with all my questions, it was a breeze getting an appointment, we got Dr. Tarek Youssef, BVS, he was amazing, even at visit time he stuck in NY traffic he called and was right there, he was great with our cat, whom is not a touchy-feeling type, he needed an antibiotic for a week, Dr Tarek not only was great he is dropping off the medication this evening....InstaVet is just amazing, 24 hrs a day I can get better care for our cat than any Vet we have ever used, fast appointments, at home, less stress for us and way less stress on our cat....all my website, email, or chat.....five stars in not enough....

Our beloved 17 yr old cat Puma was in her final days after a long battle with cancer and we could not bear to watch her suffer anymore. It was the hardest decision I ever made in my life to euthanize her, but it was the right thing to do. After looking at several similar mobile vet services, I felt that instavet were the people I could trust with Puma's well being. I spoke to Dr. Fisse in the evening about if it was possible to come the next day. She was very understanding and compassionate about our situation and assured me it was possible. I hung up expecting to call her in the morning but then our Puma was having trouble breathing and we just could not see her in pain anymore. I called back Dr. Fisse around 8:30 pm and asked her if it was possible to come to our house that very night. She made sure with the nurse and then was on her way. They arrived one hour later and put our dear cat out of her misery. The process was of course heartbreaking and hurtful but it was quick. Overall my experience with instavet has been positive and I am thankful that Dr. Fisse and the nurse were able to come in such short notice in a difficult time.

I am just overwhelmed and grateful for InstaVet. Our 18 year old cat, Rocky, was on his last days of life...we decided to euthanize him to spare him of any pain or suffering. I found InstaVet on google and immediately got in contact with them. Dr. Fisse called me and we discussed the process and made an appointment for the same evening. She and her technician were professional, kind, sympathetic. The procedure was quick and Rocky was in peace the entire time. Then he was picked up to be taken for a private cremation. The gentleman took his paw print in a lovely leather bound book with a beautiful poem. We will receive his remains within the week. This was such a painful loss as we have had Rocky in our lives since he was just a few weeks old. He was a tough, scrappy little cat who was a troublemaker but was so dearly loved. We will miss him. We are glad that InstaVet made this much easier to endure.

Based on our regular vet's consultation, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our 22 year old cat down. We still had a number of "what if" questions and were clearly not ready for this. We decided to contact InstaVet who responded very promptly and supportively. We arranged for a consultation and potential euthanasia depending on the recommendations. Dr. Tarek Youssef and his wonderful VetTech came, they examined the animal thoroughly, went over her recent tests and were able to explain the options in such a way that we had no doubt about our decision to put her down if quality of life was a priority. The sad process was full of tenderness and loving peace. We are deeply grateful to this InstaVet team for making this very difficult decision as humane as possible.

My pup was feeling under the weather for a few days and I was getting more and more concerned. I expressed my concerns to Eli, who quickly put me in touch with Dr. Leshanski. I spoke with Dr. Leshanski and told him all about my girl's symptoms. He quickly gave me some advice for an at-home remedy (I had changed her diet) and explained it should likely resolve within a day. He explained that if she weren't better he would come over. Thankfully, she was back to normal very quickly. Dr. L responded quickly and gave me some advise over the phone.

I put my dog down about two weeks ago. She has late stage lymphoma. Called instavet a day before and received a call from a vet couple hours later because of the heavy snow In NY. Scheduled appointment between 10 to 11 for the next day. The Vet Seith is from queens and did tried her best to be here half an our earlier upon my request with the help of the personnel of instavet. My dog became drowsy quickly after the first shot and went away quickly after the second shot. Maybe she was too sick to struggle. I regretted not having put her down one or two days earlier. Seith was professional and patient. I thank instavet and her for doing this last thing for my dog. Compare to the local vet I have been seeing for years, mineola animal hospital, way better. I did not even receive a postcard or email of condolences for losing my dog.

i can't be more thankful with Dr.Fissi i had my 13yo dog (Fresi) with a tumor under her tongue and after being dealing with the malpractice situation with Lower Cost Vet Movil (Dr. Rillen) for over 4months and when i released of what they were doing i went to look for other options and help but the 3 different vets i brought fresi said the same the there was nothing to do te tumor was spread it; after the advantage i got from LCVM i was devastated and i went to google to do a research and saw insta vet i read everything they have in their web page and was really clear for me and i showed to my partner he made the arrangements for 5/28 they came that day in the afternoon and honestly i can't be asked for more; they really do things quickly but at the same time really carefully and friendly the y give me some time and space to say gbye to my best friend for 13yrs im still devastated for my lost but i know my dog is not suffering anymore and is in a better place and all i can say is THANK YOU so much for the great service you provide for my beloved dog.

I couldn't be more pleased by the staff. Very contorting and the work was amazing. I just googled and took a shot and they were prompt and always available. My baby recently had passed and they took care of everything. Me and my family feel very blessed. In the state we were in and my cries because I lost our beautiful baby they picked her up so fast on a Sunday. I forgot his name but I couldn't be in his shoes with the crying and just out bursts of pain; he was very kind kind and understanding. The staff was was incredibly supportive I dealt with eli mostly. When we got her back home it lifted up our spirits we couldn't be more pleased and happy it was beautiful. Now we have our baby home and it was perfect. We don't have to buy an urn everything was perfect. I wish I knew about them prior.

We were so excited when we saw that this service visited our building on a monthly-ish basis. We easily scheduled an appointment online for vaccinations and microchipping of our new kitten in December. I selected a window between 6-7pm during scheduling. I was never told that the appointment would be at a different time than requested. The vet did not arrive until nearly 8:30 pm. He did not conduct a full exam of our kitten - he did not examine her feet/claws, teeth, ears, feel for a hernia, ask about diet/bathroom habits, or anything else that is included in a routine veterinary exam (despite the fact that we were charged an examination fee). Second, he did not bring the microchip with him. At the time, he said that the kit that had been shipped did not have a working scanner. Of course, mistakes happen, but we should have been informed of this prior to the appointment and given the option to reschedule when all the requested services could be provided. We were assured that they would come back the following Thursday to insert the microchip. Thursday rolls around and no one shows up. I reached out to customer service and was told the vet that came to my residence would reach out to me. Needless to say that never happened. Given the lack of an actual exam (which we paid for), failure to bring the microchip on the initial visit, failure to return when promised with a microchip, we ended up taking our kitten to another reputable vet to ensure she gets proper and timely care. Clearly there were some communication issues, but it was more on the part of the individual vet than the scheduling/billing team at Instavet. After speaking with Eli in customer service about our experience, we found out that the individual who had seen our kitten is no longer with the company. He also offered to schedule a new visit or work with us to improve the experience going forward. Despite the initial hiccups, the back end customer service was sincerely appreciated and I think shows how much they do value their customers. We would be willing to try the service again especially knowing we would be matched with another vet.

Highly recommend these guys. My 16 y/o boy was brought to the ER and came back with bad news. We didn't know when, but we knew euthanasia was something we had to think about soon. And we wanted him to be able to spend his last few hours at home. These guys helped us find someone locally who made an appointment to have an at home euthanasia. They were on time, respectful, and all things considered it was a very professional experience.

My cat had exhibited a behavior that I was wondering about, so I emailed InstaVet for a consult -- a vet got back to me right away and answered all my questions (completely free!). My building was hosting a clinic night, so I booked an appointment. Both Dr. Fisse and her technician Sabrina were excellent -- professional, thorough and experienced. I didn't feel rushed at all, they answered all my questions and let my cat get used to them before starting anything. Not to mention the convenience of the house call! Highly recommend.

Our dog Quimby had been part of our family for 15 years, and it was incredibly painful to say goodbye. But I can't express how thankful I am that we chose to have her put down at home, before her heart failure brought her to an uncomfortable and scary end. It was awful to watch her suffer and not be able to help. We were able to have a really good last day with Quimby and say goodbye at our own pace. Dr. Fisse and Sabrina were so kind, understanding, and compassionate. When they arrived they expressed their condolences and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye, and then they calmly and matter-of-factly led us through the process, showing great respect for us and for Quimby at the same time. They acknowledged how hard it was, and even hugged me when I was falling apart. The man who came to take Quimby afterwards was just as respectful and patient with us. This meant so much to our family. Losing a pet is unbelievably sad, but being able to do this in our home made it much easier to handle. I think it helped our children to say goodbye too. Thank you, Dr. Fisse and Sabrina -- you made a really wrenching experience as good as it could possibly be.

I love Instavet they are very knowledgeable highly experienced and professional veterinarians. They do all my Fur babies vaccinations they also run test by drawing blood with quick results. They will prescribe medications if needed they basically do everything that a animal clinic or hospital will do without taking ur pets to see them.. I personally have two dogs with High anxiety so it works out perfect for me and my animals.. my animals love their personal Veterinarian Randi .. Randi is an amazing veterinarian.. she is highly knowledgeable and experienced and answers all questions and concerns.. she’s warm and loving and easy to talk to and loves all animals.. she showed my 2dogs and 2 cats so much love.❤️. I’m very comfortable w/ her and I trust her w/ my fur babies .. they love her as well.. I highly recommend Instavet .. InstaVet is AMAZING. I have four dogs, two who are very difficult to deal with and Dr. Leshanski came over and took great care of them. They got their physical and all their shots and they were so good. Dr. Leshanski's bedside manner was so good that even my two dogs who would likely bite a stranger who came in the front door were happy as can be with him. InstaVet was so convenient and easy to use and the vets are great! I will definitely be using their services for all my future vet needs. This service for me is far superior to going to a vet or clinic. Thank you InstaVet!

I have very mixed feelings about my experience with Instavet. I called them for a home euthanasia. On the one hand, Dr. Fisse was very sympathetic over the phone and I appreciate that. She and her nurse were 2 1/2 hours later than our original appointment, but emergencies happen and I was happy to spend more time with my cat. But when they showed up, they seemed very rushed, even though they told me I was the last appointment of the day. Her nurse didn't even take off her coat, which frankly made it seem like she couldn't wait to leave. I know it's different for a vet, they aren't attached to the animal and this is a part of their job, but I would really have appreciated some sensitivity and calm at that moment, instead of the loud rushed bustling that happened. Also, the description of what the euthanasia would be like is VERY DIFFERENT than what actually happens. The first injection with a "tiny needle" made my normally very needle-tolerant cat bolt and scream. I had narcotic painkillers for her - if I had been told honestly what it would be like, I would have given her a dose beforehand so it wouldn't have been so painful. It upsets me that the last moments of her life were so painful and upsetting for her. And the "peaceful relaxation" that was described is not an accurate description either. It is not like your animal falls asleep. They are immobilized and put into a dissociative state (they used ketamine). They are not actually unconscious, they are just in the twilight zone. It does not do the pet owner any favors to describe the process in such an inaccurate way. Don't believe the description in the email you get beforehand. Be prepared for the fact that the first injection is extremely painful to the animal and that if they are using ketamine, your pet is not going to look like they are "peacefully relaxed". If I had to do this again, I would not hire Instavet, even though (again) Dr. Fisse was warm and sympathetic.

My dog was in a lot of pain and needed same day end of life service. My regular vet told me an at-home service would be easiest on my dog. Three other services could not do it that day, but InstaVet was able to send their person from Queens to Westchester where I live, within a few hours. Dr. Fisse and her assistant (I believe her name was Susan) were utterly competent, caring and sensitive. The people manning the phones and helping me submit the information while I was having to go through the awful process were also completely understanding and kind. I am very, very grateful to all involved at InstaVet, particularly Dr. Fisse and her assistant. Despite going through the repeated stress of what they do, they are able to sustain great sympathy for the dog and the people involved.

I sent the following note to InstaVet earlier today: To whom it may concern, I wanted to follow up on a series of appointments my family made with Dr. Tarek Youssef. I completed the survey, but I thought that an additional note was necessary to outline the outstanding care that Dr. Youssef provided to us. We had utilized a mobile vet in Brooklyn in the past and always felt that the experience was less than ideal. Considering the dire situation we had with our dog, Sasha, we needed a mobile vet desperately, and decided to try the InstaVet service. As promised on the website, we were given an appointment time promptly and everything came together. I received a follow-up call from Dr. Youssef shortly after the appointment was set up, which was after 9pm. I greatly appreciated his calling us so late in his day to provide a pre-exam discussion. Before, during and after the appointment, Dr. Youssef contacted me as I had requested since I wasn't present at the housecall. Dr. Youssef treated Sasha and came back later in the evening (after 8pm, again after regular business hours) to conduct further testing. While on these housecalls, Dr. Youssef demonstrated an incredible amount of empathy and patience with our whole family, and we can't express enough how grateful we are to have had Dr. Youssef there for us. For me personally, I also appreciated his sensitivity of the situation, as well as his candor in determining next steps for Sasha. We ended up deciding to end Sasha's further pain in what would've been an extraordinarily difficult journey, but I'm truly glad that Dr. Youssef was there to make Sasha as comfortable as possible. I'm happy to speak further about my experience if you'd like, but I will always be grateful to the InstaVet House Call Service for connecting us with Dr. Youssef, whom I would recommend to everyone without reservation.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Foxie, a 14 year old Schipperke, who was in end stage kidney failure. Instavet was able to arrange in home service for the same day I called. Dr. Fisse was very professional and caring and Foxie gently and peacefully went to sleep. The funeral director arranged pickup of Foxie for cremation. For Pepe it has always been difficult to visit the vet, since he gets very nervous, summer is especially bad for him, because he is a French bulldog and does not tolerate heat very well. I decided to try a veterinary visit at home, Today was the visit of Dr. Gugel. My dog just needed a routine consultation and to catch up on his vaccinations, since we will soon be traveling. They arrived punctually at the agreed time, the doctor and her assistant were extremely nice they were very friendly with my dog. My 18-year-old cat recently died at home, peacefully, thank god. IT was a Sunday, late afternoon. I contacted Instavet and they came and picked her up a couple of hours later to take her for private cremation. The two people I dealt with were kind and professional and discreet. Five days later I received the ashes in a very nice wooden box, as well as a paw print, from the Regency Family Pet Memorial Park. A little metal plaque with her name was included in an envelope with lots of publicity materials (I didn't see it at first, so make sure to dig around in the envelope). I would recommend this service for grieving pet owners.

Instavet is truly a life saver. When our beloved mastiff was so sick that we feared him unable to make it to his euthanasia appointment the next morning, they linked us up with a vet, who came to our home at the late hour of 11pm (and arrived in less than an hour). The Vet (and their call center) was incredibly sympathetic and caring, professional and courteous. They allowed my dog to pass with dignity and without pain. I hope no one ever has to go through what my family did, but am relieved to know that there is a service out there like Instavet, should the need arise.

My dog had cancer and all of a sudden seemed like her body was shutting down. We had to make a quick and painful decision, and this was at 11:30pm. Since it was an emergency situation to prevent her from being in pain, Instavet did everything they could to find a Dr. that would come to my house. We didnt want to take her to a hospital bc she couldnt walk, plus she hates the vet and we wanted her to be comfortable with my other pets surrounding her. Dr. Tarek Youseef spoke with me on the phone and came all the way from NJ to Long Island at 1am. Him and his assistant were very nice guys, and made us feel very comfortable. They gave us the time we needed to say goodbye to our dog. It was a good thing they came when they did, bc her veins were collapsed most likely from another rupture causing internal bleeding. The Dr. was very professional, caring and respectful. My baby girl got to cross over laying down in her own bed, in my arms with our heads face to face. It was the hardest night of my life, but I am comforted knowing that she went in such a peaceful way. I would honestly use Dr. Tarek Youssef for any future visits for my other pets.

If you are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to take care of your pets' needs. Look no more. Dr. Leshanski has been an angel to my dog and myself and we've never even met. Let me explain. My dog was under the weather and I called InstaVet. Eli was great and Dr. Leshanski called me back very quickly said he would make time in his schedule to come see my dog. As it worked out, we had to go to emergency where I was faced with a very critical decision. I couldn't get our regular doctor and I chose to call Dr. Leshanski and ask for his advice. He was amazing and did not hesitate to guide me through and give me the right questions to ask and give me support. Happy to report that my girl is recovering quite nicely. AND I have gotten a couple of calls following up to find out how my doggie was faring. Then, I needed to get some medication and I called them again. They couldn't sell it to me, and Chris gave me the information for a vet pharmacy where I could get the medication very quickly. These people are amazing and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the city.

Initially there was a bit of work overload (due to the holiday) so it took a day to schedule -- but Eli and InstaVet quickly made up for it with their kind subsequent efforts to communicate and explain the situation. The vet tech I finally spoke with was super helpful and even guided me through a test to see if my dog might have an ear infection before the appointment, which was the next day. Today, the vet and tech were super communicative and took their time trying to diagnose what might be wrong with our senior dog. They offered to answer questions later, and were very gentle with our dog. We will call them again if we need a house vet!

Two days ago, we had to make the agonizing decision to euthanize our 17 year-old Chihuahua, Gino. Dr. Youssef came to our house. Gino had been under the care of another wonderful Veterinarian, since we received diagnoses of kidney failure and dementia, among other things. (He was an old man, after all.) If anyone were to ask me to "design" a Veterinarian to assist in making such a difficult decision, and to perform the procedure, the result would be Dr. Youssef,. He gave Gino a surprisingly thorough examination. What he told us corroborated that which we had already heard from Gino's primary Veterinarian. He sat with all of us for what seemed like hours, listening to memories. Although we had already told him that we had made a decision, he never once gave us the feeling that he was in any sort of hurry. He acted as if he was prepared to stay with us all day. When "the time" came, initiated by me, he put our "baby boy" to rest, with the most profound care for him, and for us. As much as I've written here, I really have no words to express how grateful I am that it was Dr. Youssef who was here with us, and with Gino, for those last hours.

This is an amazing service for pets. Think Uber, Seamless mets Fido (but with extra care and veterinarians come to your door!) My little dog Allie was feeling so well...it's always due if she eats anything outside of her prescription ID food. I've been going to the same vet (Upper WestSide Vet) for two years but the vet always require you come in (even though they have been seeing dog for two years) and the vet, even after listening on phone to you end up with the same recommendation always: come in. Once you are in its costs $250 for the office visits plus they force tests on you and make you feel guilty if you don't do them. You can't walk out of a vet without a minimum $500 bill. This is where Instavet comes in. Why stand on line at a vet (and put your pet through stress) when Instavet comes right to your home for less than half the cost (I had a house call last night and whole thing costs me $186 with medicine.) The owner first called to confirm the appt and listened to what was the symptoms with my pet, then the vet called, listened again and within a hour a licensed certified trained vet showed up at my door. He was knowledgeable, listened to me and best of all was great with my little Allie. The vet who came out did complete physical, diagnosed, prescribed meds, plus if your pet needs it, can do an ultrasound and blood tests right in your home. Instavet is hoping to get prices down even further if more people sign up. I hope they can do that because it is a great service. And you can book them via the mobile app on your phone. I can see going to the vet if it is a serious issue that requires immediate hospitalization but these vets also partner with vets, so if you pet needs further testing (beyond the ultrasound, blood tests) they have recommendations for vets to bring your pet to right away. Most times your pet doesn't need to go to a vet for expensive tests but needs basic medical and care and a loving vet to care for them. Instavet does that and more. The vets really love pets and the care shows. p.s. Today is the next day and Allie is already feeling better.

The women who came to our home were the most professional, respectful, courteous folks and I couldn't have been happier to have them leading us through such an unreal experience. In the past we had been going to one particular vet but our big boy Cody would always be terrified of going and would shake uncontrollably so we thought we would give InstaVet a try to relieve Cody of the stress. This was our first time using InstaVet and we had a great experience with it. Our Vet, Dr. Aparna Arun, and the tech were extremely kind to us and Cody and were very patient with us answering our anxious questions. Cody can be hard to deal with sometimes when he doesn't know you but both Dr. Aparna Arun and the tech at hand handled him with great care and made him feel calm at home while getting his tests done. For 14 1/2 years, Gus was our faithful companion. He was a doofy lab/newf mix who couldn't swim, but loved tug-of-war. He loved his family and was never totally content unless we were all home. He was sweet-natured, fun loving, obedient. Really, he was as close as it came to being our third child - our eternal toddler. When cancer finally won, Dr. Josel came to our house. She took the time to carefully explain what she was doing and what would happen. She was patient, gentle, respectful, and caring beyond anything we could have hoped for - exactly what our big guy deserved. I want to give them the 5 stars but they get here half hr after the latest they were supposed to be here by 5-6PM made a appointment at 9AM for a home euthanasia visit for our 14 year old dog whose leg's finally gave in once they got here, they were professional and compassionate.Our dog got to go peacefully without any pain in his home surrounded by his family and for that I will always be eternally grateful.

I found this mobile vet online for my very sick cat, when my local vet's office brushed me off b/c I wasn't a current client. I needed to put my cat, Maxi to sleep b/c he was in kidney failure, very ill and old. I wanted a house call b/c my cat was too sick to move and I was so distraught from having to do the terribly difficult but necessary task at hand. I called instavet that morning, left a message about my emergency, the asst called me back right away, and a vet and asst came that evening... BTW there was a terrible rain storm outside that night and it didn't matter, they assured me they'd come, even in bad weather. They gave me a time for the appt, called to say they'd be late b/c they were coming from another borough which I expected but they were still only 20 minutes late. They certainly knew what they were doing but the vet didn't rush and understood how visibly upset I was, she walked me thru the whole procedure in advance. She was very compassionate as the asst helped and they both didn't say much, there was certainly no judgement b/c this cat needed to be put out of his misery and they could see that. The whole horrible event was done within 1/2 an hour. I had him cremated which they took care of as well. All in all I was pleased with them. But with house calls, just be prepared to have your credit card ready b/c they have to charge you in advance for euthanasia. They were clear about the prices and it wasn't horribly expensive, not more than if I brought my cat to a vet in person to do the job. I would use them again, they were professional and actually encourage coming for a house visit, that's something you never see from a vet which is really life-saving in certain situations. I still have another cat and I wouldn't think twice about using them again. I'm located in Queens and they have a Queens vet's office you can go to in person but they'll gladly come to you as well, good to know! Thank you so much for helping me with this heart-wrenching task.

Calling instance was the best decision I could make for my beloved friend Trey. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer I did all I could to make his end of life as comfortable as possible. When time was up I feared I would have to take him to the vet to be euthanized. I did not want to do this since he was always scared and stressed when arriving at the vet clinic and I wanted to have his last moments be at home surrounded by peace and good energy. Instance did not rush me or put pressure on me. They came within 2 hours of my call. Dr Fisse and her nurse were very friendly compassionate and helped me through the worst. Trey passed peacefully in my arms stress free at home. Thank you Dr Fisse for makimg this experience as painless as possible. I miss him but I'm happy his passing happened the way I hoped it would.

Dr. Leshanski is an extremely friendly, knowledgeable & caring veterinarian, and was able to examine my cat like no other vet has been able to do ever before! He was so calm and gentle with her. I have seen Dr. Leshanski twice through Insta Vet and both times have been very positive experiences for me and my 8 year old cat. I would absolutely recommend this service for all dog and cat owners!
