I really urge you not to listen to the negative reviews of a few people. Dr. Walsh is really wonderful. She is upfront, informative, and truly listens. I called her office at 1230 on a Friday to get an appointment for my golden retriever and they squeezed me right in at 2! I had just moved to the city about 2 weeks prior and didn’t have a vet in the area. My golden puppy started limping out of no where and I was really concerned. Anyways, I bring her in at 2, Dr. Walsh spent over an hour sitting with me, getting her history and listening to her problem. I never once felt rushed, she did a full exam on my dog, well over 15 minutes ranging her legs to check for pain. She sent me home with doggy Advil and strict precautions to rest my dog. She never pushed unnecessary tests or imaging on me and was truly looking out for my and my dogs best interests. I was so happy with my experience I came home to write this review first thing. Go see Dr. Walsh if your furry one needs a little extra TLC, you won’t be sorry!

I find the office friendly and professional. Dr. Walsh takes extra care while examining my pup. I would recommend her highly. The only draw back is lack of high tech, online appointments, and processing claims.

Dr Walsh seems to have lost it. Completely arrogant and out-dated. This clinic is probably good if you just need to pop in and buy some pet food but apart from that, don't take your beloved pet here. She was completely useless when I needed her the most. I made an appointment where she started it, then "went out for an appointment" (wth?!?! I made an appointment!!!) and came back TWO HOURS LATER!!! She is truly a disappointment for the vet world. Dealing with her is like dealing with an old, prehistoric grandma, set in her ways, knows info from the past, and a giant pain in the a-- when you try to explain your situation. Would I return? Absolutely not. Would I recommend? Only to my worse enemies.

Dr. Walsh is an excellent vet. She takes her time with my dog, who is 17, and has excellent diagnostic skills. It is easy to get an appointment with her. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Walsh and her attentive staff at Columbus Veterinary Hospital have made adjusting to life with an energetic toy poodle puppy considerably easier. My previous dog was the patient of a very gruff veterinarian in midtown, and I expected a baseline level of service and nothing more. What a pleasant surprise to have a cheerful, caring and informative experience when tending to pet maintenance like vaccinations, microchip, spaying, etc. From our first visit, Dr. Walsh has spent an hour per appointment examining our pup while offering us advice on ear and nail care and grooming that has been very useful. On a recent visit on a sunny spring, Dr. Walsh was tending to an emergency but came out to suggest that the pooch and I take a walk around the block rather than sit in the waiting room. My pooch was delighted with her extended jaunt and I was once again grateful for Dr. Walsh’s thoughtfulness.
