Service was horrible, wasted $45 for nothing. My pet wasn’t seen for more then a half hour. You tell them what’s wrong with your pet, besides actually examining to see what’s wrong they just went along with my complaint towards my pet to tell me she needs “blood work and over night stay” which cost $780. The only proper service and attitude I received was from the receptionist. Vets were rude and careless lucky I don’t remember their name cause it would’ve been published as well. Place needs a better attitude environment and more care towards people’s pets. How you a vet? But show no symphony towards pets. Scam for taking money, don’t waste your time here.

I brought my Dog here just for routine shots and they were very professional . The wait was rather long but that might have been due to an emergency with another animal . The staff was very professional and very knowledgeable in there subject matters . They even called me the next day to ask about my dog. I would recommend this veterinary office to anyone . There is no parking in the immediate area so you have to park a few blocks away .

My first visit with Bronx veterinarian center great they were able to pinpoint my dog needs and for me to get the things she needed to get her back to health however, I had an situation regarding my dog that sent me back to the Bronx veterinarian center. Her declaw grew a little into her skin so she was bleeding from it so I took her to the center again they told me what was wrong gave me meds for her and put a collar on her so she wouldn't lick her paw. So I gave her the meds for a week as directed then made a follow up appt for her. So on that day early in the morning I called to ask them would I have to pay for her follow up visit. The receptionist looked in her chart and told me no I dont have pay for her visit. I asked the question because I didn't have the money to pay if I did have to pay and didn't want to come all the way to the center for that purpose. So I went to the center checked in and as I spoke to the receptionist she was new and she had called another woman over and she told me I have to pay for the visit. When I heard this I wished I got the name of the person because that was the reason why I called to ask the question if I had to pay. So the woman told me that when your dog is giving meds to take when you come back you have to pay for the follow up. My question is why couldn't the receptionist who I spoke to tell me what she told me as I was told by a previous receptionist that they all know the policy and share the same information. The receptionist need to be trained on professionalism and how to speak to customers I dont appreciate someone calling me honey over the phone. I will be terminating my relationship with this practice am disappointed in the way I was treated there no one said sorry for the misinformation I was given its was like oh well you have to pay or be charged extra $45 dollars for not calling sooner.

I've been going here for a few years now. The staff and doctors are always friendly and knowledgeable. I can see that they actually care about animals in the way they treat them. I appreciate all the answers to the questions that they must get hundreds of times a day and the way that they make sure that I fully understand it and the treatments for my dogs. Great prices! BUT!! The vets don't check your dog really. They just look at them and that's it. I could just look at a dog and say good to go guys! I told the doctor for a couple of years that my dog keeps lifting her paw up when we touch it or get close to it and they brushed it off. When it became visible that there was something wrong with her back legs they suggested a couple of places and the one we went to was on the East side of Manhattan. Honestly they brushed that question off too. It wasn't till my baby girl turned 4 years that we learned after taking her to the Best Vet in White Plains NY that she had Autoimmune Disease. We could have caught this earlier and treated her before all the pain she went through. Like I said in the beginning they have really good prices.

I don't like this. They said my was fine hes ear was fine, but theres still stuff coming out of his ear now his tail is not moving . it's just straight down now. When we touch him it doesnt go up. But the doctor said he was fine so what happened now. When we got there and the doctor came in he didnt even great me or my sister . Just no they need to do better

I brought a newborn kitten who had a bad eye infection without an appointment and the service was fast and everyone there is super caring. They did an amazing job she’s already feeling playful and much better. The fees and medicine was an excellent price, I highly recommend this vet.

The only reason I gave this place one star is because the front desk staff was nice and helpful. The vet himself was the rudest and most impatient person I’ve ever met. My dog was in a lot of pain and he barely looked at him. Touched a few bones and said there was nothing wrong. He didn’t take his temperature, he didn’t check his glands, didn’t look in his ears. He ran in and out in the span of 30 seconds and then happily took my money. I really really needed an affordable vet and this place is less than others but it’s not worth saving the bit of money knowing that my animal was NOT in good hands. I’m really upset about it and would like the office to reschedule an appointment for me with a different dr. My dogs name is Louie. White chihuahua.

My Maya had her first visit Saturday , staff was excellent and my Maya felt very comfortable. They would had gotten a 5 star but only one vet and the wait was a little to long. But I recommend it to everyone, friendly staff and the Vet is awesome.

They are no good .. my dog has a severe ear infection and they said they can’t see her Bc it’s booked when I ask can walk in he said yes but it’s 45 plus additional 80 to walk in .. it’s sad Bc not everybody has that .. it’s like ya robbing somebody I will never bring my dog there ever

Me and my wife took our cat to this clinic cause he was not doing to good.We found out our cat had a blockage and could not urinate on his own.Upon further evaluation the Vet doctor told us the bad news about our cat having kidney failure.We were very saddened of the news about our cat and took him home.A couple of days later our cat was not doing to good and spoke to a staff member named Rosie that sounded very concerned and told use to bring our cat to the Vet clinic again.We then met staff members Rosie and Noel in person.They were very professional and loving people.We then met Doctor Katz and explained to him about our situation.Doctor Katz was very understanding and humble about our situation.Dr. Katz was very thorough and explained exactly what our cat was going thru.Dr.Katz was working with us through the whole process and did his best to make our cat feel better again.He recommended that we leave our cat in his care for a couple of days so he can try his best to see if he gets better.Upon further evaluation Dr.Katz took an X-Ray of our cat and found out he had a tumor.Even though we ended up putting our cat down Dr. Katz gave us comfort and helped us out so much thru this tragic experience.Dr. Katz is an incredible human being who cares about his pets and clients.I will most definitely bring my pets there in the future and recommend everyone to Dr. Katz.

My visit there today with Luna was wonderful everyone there was nice especially the doctor's assistant he was a guy very friendly very soft-spoken and he explained everything to me very well. This Veterinary Center is very reasonable . If you go there with your pet for a physical if they need any shots you get that for free. I look forward 2 taking Luna back for her next to shots. I am very glad I found this office. The options in the Bronx are not large but wow did I pick the perfect place for my French bulldog pup! First the office staff are amazing. They always call for reminders on appointments and they also called to check on my puppy after her shots to make sure she was ok. They doctors and professional and they truly do not rush your appointment. They answered all of my questions, even the silly ones. I will never take my baby girl any where else. I wanted to update my review to include some photos of my puppy's cherry eye surgery. It just happened last week 8/7/18, and it was her first surgery since she is only 4 months old. The doctors and staff were so amazing and gentle with my baby girl and I was able to pick her up the same day! The office also called me after she woke up just to make sure I knew she was ok and hand no complications from the surgery. I did not pick her up till a few hours later but wow, what a relief to get that call, I was worried sick all day. To most animal lovers they are not just our pets, but family. I shared photos of before and after! Hope this helps others.

Dr. Catz is extremely sarcastic, arrogant, ignorant, and emotionless. He is extremely rude and does not deserve to work with animals. I have a large dog and him treating him so aggressively and as if he was a wild animal made him have a negative response and screaming at the us about him. Honestly extremely rude and while in the room one of the other nurses who was scared of my dog stood outside as if he was a show. The one that seem the nicest and answered all my questions was Stephanie I believe, short middle hair tattoos. Would NEVER recommend this vet or this doctor to anyone!

Long story short... I brought my cat in to the Webster Ave. location for Surgery in January, she didn't make it and I suspected foul play. I disputed the charge for the surgery with care credit, I won the dispute and vowed to never go to this location again. Yesterday my dog had a stroke and I called today to set an appointment with their Westchester Sq. location (as this is the only location I trust) and was refused service because they notated my account stating I owe the Webster Ave. location $2k. I called care credit and confirmed I DID win my dispute, there is a $0 balance due. No one from Webster Ave attempted to follow up on this alleged debt, there is nothing on my credit showing I am in collections and when I called their office I was placed on a 10 minute hold. I do not recommend their services, at all. Any animal hospital that could be so vindictive to refuse service to a different animal in need over a monetary dispute that they lost.. is not working whole heartedly for the benefit of the animal they service. I had no issue with paying for my cat's surgery, until I started asking questions to prove my cat died AFTER the surgery (which is what I was told) and they were unable to provide VALID proof of their account. I found inconsistencies with the documentation that was provided to me, which is what ultimately led to me winning my dispute. RIP to my princess, mommy will always fight for you with everything she has.. we didn't even get to say goodbye.

I found a little kitten on the streets that had an eye infection I took him there and they cleared up his eye infection after charging me $80 for the visit and $30 for the eye infection drops. After a check-up they told me he was perfectly healthy. About 3 weeks ago he began to get sick with diarrhea but I thought it was the food change from milk to kitten food. Last Sunday on the 26th I took him to them and told them I believe he has worms they put some stuff in his mouth told me you can get him fluids if you want to because it's $45 and I did and didn't think nothing about how they said it until the next morning when my kitten was deceased these people don't know what they're talking about and they only want to push for more money more money more money do not take your pets there if you value your pet's life he was only 3 months and 4 days old and now he's gone. His name was Mr.Asta Jones 05/24/18 to 08/28/18. That bald-headed doctor that is in none of the pictures on here is the one who told me he was perfectly healthy the one who told me he would be fine that the dewormer they gave him would work the one who charged me so much money knowing my kitten was going to die and they told me nothing. They just wanted more money and they could have told me he was going to die so I could make him comfortable for that nevertheless he died between me my best friend and his best friend Handsom another cat that I have who took him in as his son. All three of us have been depressed from losing little Asta.

We needed to board our black gsd for a weekend. Once Bx vet took a look at our dog we were told some of the staff were intimidated by him. We explained when we called we were told there would be no problem leaving our pet. The day we were to leave him no one wanted to get near our 4yr old gsd. Dr told us he wouldn’t force his staff to do something they were afraid to do. It wasn’t until Bryan Tim walked in and played with our dog. Bryan felt safe with our dog and stated to the dr he wouldn’t mind taking care of him for the weekend. Our gsd took a liking to Bryan and felt safe with him as well. Bryan would send us pics & videos of their time together just to make us feel everything was ok. We were so grateful for Bryan for giving our gsd a chance and believing he was no threat. Our dog enjoys walks and attention and this is exactly what Bryan gave him. Thank you again Bryan!

This was my first time there. The staff and the doctors are concerned for my pets care. Unfortunately, one of my pets was terminately ill and had to be put down. Both the staff and the doctor treated my pet and me with the utmost respect and care for euthanized my beloved pet. They give me the time to be with my pet until the end of life. For that I am very grateful.

Update: After two different ointments/drops (Animax and Tresaderm) and a bunch of steroid and antibiotic shots (and of course hundreds of dollars later and weeks of administering ear drops to my cat day after day around the clock every 12 hours) my cat still has inflammation in her ears and has not been fully recovered. At my last visit I was told to continue with the second medication and when I’m out of it to start administering the first ointment that didn’t do the job to begin with. A follow up was not scheduled this time as if they’ve given up on experimenting with my cat’s ears and don’t know how to cure my pet. I feel let down because it seems I’ve wasted time, effort and resources to no avail. I am downgrading my rating since my pet is still having an ear inflammation. My kitty has an ear inflammation and I took her in for a check up. They gave her some shots and prescribed her an ointment and so far it looks good. The nurse that was helping me was sooooo cool, friendly, kind and made the whole experience less traumatic for my kitties as she was playing and caressing them (had both my cats checked because I didn’t want to have one treated to have the second one infected later and repeat the whole shitshow over again) of course I forgot her name cause I never remember names but I’ll make sure to ask her again on my follow up and update this review.

First of, I had to look at the photos and make sure I would leave my honest experience to the correct business. From the photos I know I have the correct business and location. So let’s get to the core of their service. Awful! They overbook, and overlook. My two cats went in for spaying, they gave me back two peed on and filthy pets. My cats must’ve been marinating on piss for I don’t know how long. Second, one of my cats developed hoarseness and a cough right after the surgery. I brought the cat several times to only find the vet kept wanting to pump my cat with antibiotics and nothing was working. 4 different visits and they could not find a cause and “the only solution” was more antibiotics. Horrible! My purpose is to make the consumer aware and to beware of leaving your pet overnight or allow any surgery. Worst case, just go in for shots because at least you can have an eye on what is being performed to your pets.

I was going to bring my dog here but then I realized I brought him here when he was a puppy at a different location. When I brought him it was for a check up and something else and when I got him back he was limping and couldn’t put weight on his leg so when I confronted the doctor he said he was like that already I was furious and when the nurse was taking my dog to the back for X-rays my dog was putting up a little fight because he was scared I saw the nurse raise his hand to hit him! Horrible place would never go here again !

They are amazing -Dr Katz and all the staff - my kitty was dying of an incurable virus , FIP and they kept him overnight and tried everything to comfort him and save him . They didn’t even charge me for him to stay an extra day and cremate him . They were super sympathetic of my baby dying and treated him well- they even bathed him and had him wrapped up in a clean blanket -

Had a 10 am appointment made weeks in advance, arrived at 9:45, but didn't get checked in till 10:20. At 11:20 I was next to get into a room and then would have had to wait for the doctor to reach my room which would have been at least another half hour or so (they wouldn't give me an estimate). I asked for a refund and left because I was going to be late for work. It was over crowed, over booked, and made for an extremely stressful environment for the animals. I would not recommend.

It's a pitty that I didn't know of this place any sooner. My first time was Tuesday becuz I was looking for a place for an ultrasound that my cats regular doctor took more than 3 weeks n still didn't make my cats appointment. On Tuesday was his first visit n sadly his last. They explained he didn't have long to expect it anytime soon. To keep him comfortable n that I did. Today I called and asked if I can take my pets remains becuz he passed on my chest at 12:15 this morning. I called his regular Drs office n their price just to take him n cremate him was outrageous. This place just being the 2nd time going gave me a great price. Offered me if I needed help or someone to talk to. That there was the right thing to say at the right time. Very much appreciate by the staff n giving the condolences as well. Thank you guys will recommend this place to anyone that has a pet. Rest in the garden of heaven my sweetheart...

It sad to say that something as simple as removing the stitches that was in my dog ears had to be done by another vet for free. In one day my dog ears have improved. This vet office who charged my $95 could not do that. Would never recommend this vet office and those that I did recommend I called and told what they did. Will never come to this office again. No customer service, they make you feel like the money is more important than the your loving pet.

I wish I saw the reviews before coming here I had an appointment and they told me that their machines were “down” for the blood work. I took my cat to the vet for his Diarrhea and vomiting and they gave me liquid metronidazole shortly after my cat wouldn’t eat so i stopped the dosages, 4 days later he died. be aware of the horrible side effects of this so called medicine. It’s death in a bottle. I’m convinced the doctor gave it to me on purpose because the cat had kidney failure and they probably thought I was selfish for not putting him down. Doctor gave it knowing it would kill him. nothing but ratchet ghetto people working here. Super unprofessional don’t even waste your time or money they are completely incompetent

Called to see if I can schedule a appointment because my dog had a good amount of blood in his stool, I understand I called on New Year’s Eve so there might not be any space available or what ever the case might be. But I was told I would receive a call back and got nothing considering the situation, a simple call back would of been great instead of me waiting for a call that was never going to happen.

Amazing vet. My dog had an eye infection and I had paid another vet to treat him. Their diagnosis was vague and treatment ineffective. Then I went to this vet and they diagnosed my dog with a specific issue, created a drop that was infused with his blood to help it heal, and three days later he is on a solid road to recovery. They even called me on day two to ask how he was feeling. Amazing work, BVC!

I ran in with my barely breathing dog, and the staff jumped up to help right away. He did not make it, but everyone was exceptionally kind. They did not even charge us for the emergency care, since my baby died a few minutes after the doctor rushed him in for oxygen. We only paid a nominal amount for cremation services. It is rare to see a place that is not greedy, that responds immediately to help the pet and where everyone was very kind. They made the painful process a bit easier.
