I called All Creatures in a last ditch effort to help save my dog.First, the telephone answering system is the WORST! it is unintelligible and it took 3 phone calls before someone came to the phone. I expressed the dire straits that my dog was in and i was told that the Dr. couldn't come to the phone nor would she call me back. I could however, make an appointment for 5 days later! The receptionist had no concern for the needs of the animal nor was she able to assist in obtaining alternative care for my dog. The vet. i saw there was good, but the receptionist (Brittney) has ZERO business being employed as a receptionist!!

This was not only the best vet I've ever been to, it was run by the kindest, smartest staff I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. Our hamster was very sick, and Dr. Wood gave us every option available to make sure he got the proper care. The entire staff was incredibly supportive, and it made a stressful situation that much easier to handle. Very affordable and fairly priced - this really demonstrated that some people love animals and love helping them. Highly recommend.

I could tell I really loved this place when I walked in, because the receptionist was so kind. She checked my cat and commented on how pretty he was! She showed me in almost immediately. The place is clean and spacious. The wait time was about 10 minutes, and allowed my cat to calm down a bit. The nurse was very nice to my cat, and eventually I met with Dr. Wood who was so caring. She was really careful when it came to inspecting my 15-year-old kitty, and had a great second opinion. I walked away with 3 medications for my cranky old cat, and the total visit was a little over $150. I definitely recommend this vet!

Anucha Browne

This was a complete joke. If a pet owner is trying to get a range of how much it should cost to repair an ACL injury and the vet refuses to even discuss what one should expect without charging for a visit. The money grab is more important than the well-being of the pet. Nice

Grant Hand

Very friendly people, good facilities, and they do not overcharge! Very good at communicating and explaining costs

Delaneau W

Care credit for emergencies. Why use that when you can use your own credit card if you have one. Screw your pet otherwise. I don't understand how all these so-called we care very much for pets would hear of an emergency and think of the money first.

SO AFFORDABLE, especially for a 5 star vet! Very friendly staff and amazing doctors! My dog actually likes her vet, and whines when she leaves the room!

Every doctor I’ve seen here is gentle, thorough, informative, and knowledgeable! I am very particular about treatment for my cat, and I love this vet.

I recommended this vet to my mother after having adopted 2 cats from their establishment, as well as bringing my older cat there prior to her passing away. I thought they were wonderful. My mother brought her dog there on Monday, July 29. It is now Wednesday, August 7 and after calling almost daily to speak to a vet, still has not received a call back. A generic and useless email was sent with NO explanation as to what is wrong with her dog was sent by Erica Morgan who apparently owns the place but did not see the dog. Apparently she is the owner, however maybe someone should explain how a business owner should conduct business. She sure knew how to take the $417 the visit cost, but she provided barely any services. Do not bring your pets here if you are looking for a vet who CARES for animals. And don't be fooled by their responses on here to call them and discuss your experience because you will NEVER speak to anyone but the front desk. Ms. Morgan, because I won't even address her as doctor, should be ASHAMED of herself.

I absolutely love this vet. Friendly and professional staff. Great facility. My doctor was great with my dog. Most importantly she took her time and really cared about his issue. So happy they are here!!

James Kohli

Super friendly new vet! Dr. Morgan was great and very enthusiastic, the office is new and clean, and they were helpful answering all our questions before we got there and during our visit. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Barbara Delano

Very happy with the service there. Clean efficient. Excellent staff. Dr Morgan great

I've probably been to most of the top exotic animal specialists in the city over the past year and All Creatures has become the go-to vet for my rats! Over the past several months Catherine Wood has proven to be extremely knowledgable and caring for my pet ratties. Just the other day she was even able to give one of them an immediate operation to remove a very fast-growing, potentially dangerous tumor. Thanks to Dr Wood's fast action, attentiveness and care, my little lady is alive and well. I highly recommend this vet!!!

We struggle to have a good experience here. There is always miscommunication and it just isn't worth it anymore. We will not be taking our 2 dogs here anymore.

SUPERLATIVE PEOPLE AND PRACTICE: I have two dogs with very different needs and personalities. I've lived in many different places and travel a lot, sometimes with my dogs, so consequently have frequented many different veterinary practices (at least four others in Brooklyn alone). All Creatures does the best job BY FAR at balancing excellence in care, price, warmth of staff, and efficiency, and does an incredible job at putting both humans and animals at ease. Dr. Morgan will present all available options, so that YOU can be fully informed and make educated decisions for your pet and your situation. Everyone has different needs and financial constraints, so what is best for one client is obviously not best for another, and she is sensitive to that. Even though we have been to some very fine practices in small towns, where personal attention is perhaps easier than in a big city, we have received the most personalized and devoted care at All Creatures of any practice. They help with the often confusing maze of pet insurance paperwork, offer acupuncture and laser therapy (among others), do research on weird issues by consulting with other vets, and have even recommended we see another practice for an orthopedic issue. I am surprised and dismayed by the unhappy reviews, and want to address them for any new people who read them and wonder. My thoughts: one of the bad reviews is pretty unintelligible; I would be wary of trusting a vet from another town who can make claims on something as delicate as a possible amputation without reviewing an actual medical chart; care credit is an extra payment option in ADDITION to credit cards; I have never had an issue with any of the receptionists or with the phone system. Yes, they are a very busy practice and are very loyal to their clients, so even if you are having an emergency, it may be impossible for them to just ditch people and pets who have appointments for their own issues that need medical care. And yes, this is not some cut rate "treat-em-and-street-em" kind of place, so it's not the cheapest place you can find. However, I have never felt that their prices are unfair or out of line with practices in this area, and would gladly pay more for the level of education, knowledge, skill, and expertise that is shown at All Creatures.

We got to Dr. Morgan after moving to the US and looking for a good vet for our Alice. I can say we are super happy with our choice! Both my wife and I are super anxious when it comes to our dog so it was really great to see that all the employees, from the receptionist, through the nurses to Dr. Morgan were very attentive to our questions and concerns and were super patient with us, giving us thorough answers that really assuaged all our concerns. The treatment seemed professional, on point and not too expensive, without anyone trying to get us to do things that aren't really needed. This will def be our go-to place for all our dog needs from now on!

Donald Lee

Dr. Wood and Dr. Morgan & Co are wise and wonderful for all creatures great and small, even their owners. All Creatures offers comprehensive veterinary service including dental and holistic treatments. Dr. Wood detected symptoms of a deadly autoimmune disease (immune thrombocytopenia) in our shih-tzu Marshmallow and advised us to take her to VERG for emergency medical care. I had no idea the gravity of Marshmallow's condition until we got to the ER. After a hallowing week of aggressive treatment, VERG saved Marshmallow thanks to Dr. Wood's early diagnosis.

I love All Creatures. From caring with gentleness and understanding for our 16 year old pup when we realized it was time for her to leave us, to kind and quality care for our 2 year old pup, all creatures is the best. The Facility is clean and comfortable and receptionists are very helpful.

Incredibly friendly and professional staff; they’ve taken great care of my puppy, and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure she’s safe and happy.

I could not be happier with this vet. They took excellent care of my two geriatric cats. Unfortunately, I have moved out of state and wont be able to go to them anymore, but I would recommend them to anyone!

All Creatures Vet is a godsend. I’ve been coming here with my dog Jonesi since the day they opened and they’ve been nothing but kind, efficient, beyond helpful, and most important of all super skilled in what they do. I had a huge scare last year with Jonesi and in an emergency had to take him to 2 other vets to try and figure out what was going on with him and no one could diagnose the problem. The moment I was able to take him back to All Creatures they took extra special care in figuring out what the problem was and fixed it!! I feel very fortunate knowing Jonesi is in great hands with everyone that works there.

The best place to take any animal! I came in with a bird I rescued named Jon, and Dr. Wood was very careful with him, as well as polite to me, making sure that I understood every aspect of the situation, and helped me through the experience. The other patients at this clinic also came in to check on the situation, and were polite, and very friendly as well! Dr. Wood even included a carrier for Jon, and a blanket to help placate him, and food for him! Amazing experience, only the best from this clinic, and the only place where appointments are not a MUST. Dr. Wood, if you read this, Jon is doing well! I decided to hold on to him because his family is in the area, and check up on him daily, so I wish to help nurse him to health, and then have him join them afterwards!

You have found the best vet in brownstone Brooklyn. Dr. Wood and her partner Dr. Morgan are amazing--smart, kind, good listeners, sweet and gentle with animals and people alike, amazing diagnosticians . . . they are also frugal--and they know dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small creatures, hence their name. Dr. W has been our vet for a long time and we are thrilled to pieces she now has her own office. Please check them out--you and your creatures will be so happy.

Dr. Morgan has been my vet for five years now and I'd never go anywhere else. I saw her regularly with my previous dog for his various age-related ailments. My current dog and (his) cat now go to All Creatures and they get excellent care at the clinic.

PLEASE READ AND NEVER EVER CONSIDER THIS VET. Zero stars. Horrible and I'm out about $400 for nothing. I rescued a cat from my yard in the Bronx, she was missing her tail (stump infected) and had an infected deep gash on her leg. I went through someone who does TNR who got a discount, then we decided to adopt her then no more discount (understandable I guess but just because we adopted her doesn't mean that she was no longer a rescue and if I would have known that I would end up paying the same rate I would have gone to my regular vet). They recommended that we don't amputate the tail right off the bat and just give antibiotics and keep bandages on it. I went back every 3-5 days as we were told to get her bandages changed and it was about $100 every time because she was scared of them (understandable) and had to be sedated (the second vet we took her too was capable enough to not have to and saved us a lot of money). Then the third week comes around and they say we need to amputate the tail, de-bride and stitch up the leg wound. I know nothing about animal care so I listened to them the whole time. I never saw her wounds past when we saw her on the streets. They never let us see what was going on under the bandages and were very vague when answering our questions. Amputation and all that costs a bit more than $1,000 so after all that her care would be about $1,500. After they decided she needed her tail amputated and leg done I went searching for other vets who were more affordable and told my story to one in White Plains and he saw pictures from the beginning and said it should have been amputated and taken care of immediately and the care I had at All Creatures was just putting off the inevitable and letting her suffer. Going to this other vet I talked to the owner/actual doctor not just a vet tech, he talked to us with respect and used real terms to explain what was going on and took the time to explain what they meant. We got my cat's bandages changed then they told us we needed to amputate, we waited 2 days longer than recommended to go get her bandages changed/surgery done but her leg and tail were so crazy infected that the second vet was shocked. He said it was definitely infected for more than a week or so and the vets at All Creatures saw it and let us wait it out. All creatures told us that her leg wasn't healing, they didn't say it was severely infected still, we were under the influence that the infection was gone and we were given zero medications to help the infection they knew about. So my thoughts are they were just trying to suck as much money out of the situation as possible before it was absolutely necessary that it be amputated. They did the least amount of work and used zero resources to help her. She was found on the street and they didn't give her a single vaccine, they didn't test for Fel FIV even though they knew from our conversations that we had another cat. If this stray we brought in had Fel FIV that they neglected to check for gave my first cat the disease they would have both died within a year or so (to my understanding of the disease) or have to be put down. She was moping around the house miserable with her bandages on for 3 weeks when she could have had the surgery done and probably been healed by now. I also assume they didn't want to do the surgery right away and give the TNR discount with it. Only good thing about this place was two nice receptionists I saw and the four cute kittens in the front. This place is far over priced and I felt they did not have my pets best interest at heart. A lot of neglect and I am praying that no one else take their pets here especially if they have a serious illness or injury. I don't know if anyone wants to make the trek but for surgery and more intensive care go to "White Plains Veterinary Hospital" it is THE BEST vet I've been to by far, they are my new regular vet for both my cats, and they really helped me understand what was going on with my cat and talked to me through the whole process (didn't just do the surgery and say here you go bye).

I take my dog here, based on recommendations of the rescue where we got my dog, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. They always take the best care of my dog, Trudy, and explain any added costs upfront before they are made. When we had to do a surgery, they gave me a range of costs based on what I was able to afford. It was awesome! If you need a vet in Brooklyn this office has some of the best!

OMG!!! You guys are everything.....We called this morning and spoke with the front desk about my dog having an allergic reaction and everything was explained to me about bringing him in. So we brought him in and he was seen right away just made me feel you guys care and services is #1 in book!! My baby is doing much better and is resting happy, thanks again for your service and care ❤

Best vet experience in my last 5 years of Brooklyn vet visits. Wish I came here sooner. I was able to get an appoint within a few days, all the staff were super lovely and Dr Morgan was fantastic. And my dog is not an easy dog, she makes a 70+ lb scene at every appointment. Plus the bill was only 1/2 of what I was expecting based on other places. Just so good all around! Don't hesitate about bringing your pup here!

Bob London

A very kind and not overpriced place, they seem to be expanding so like other places you may not get the same doctor on each visit. But beyond that a great expereince

Took Kodak, my lab mix, in for a general check-up as I had some concerns that come with age. He will be 10 in the Spring. Dr. Wood was so patient as I went through my list of things that I was curious about. She even tested a few lumps that I was worried about on the spot. She was great with Kodak, who after a long day, was a bit of a grump. The office was clean and inviting and the staff was warm and friendly. Icing on the cake is they're just down the street from me, so if anything should come up, they're right there. They also have later hours a few days a week, which was really helpful for me.

I took my cat here after having a horrible experience at a 24-hour hospital in Park Slope. Not only was the entire staff loving to my cat, but also compassionate toward me. Dr. Wood is smart, kind and amazing at her job. I HIGHLY recommend this vet.

We are so lucky to have found Dr. Morgan and Dr. Wood at All Creatures. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgable and gentle -- our dog adores the entire staff! Dr. Morgan is our main vet and always takes the time to thoroughly answer every question. She has been amazing during our dog's slow-healing paw injury.

The staff seemed nice and friendly, doctor too. However, there was ZERO follow up from them. I even called to ask a question regarding medication the doctor prescribed and never received a return call. It’s been over a month since they’ve seen my dog, prescribed him medication, and not a peep from them! My senior dog has a couple challenges in his life (osteoarthritis and separation anxiety) and we just moved to BK, which is why we were referred to this vet. I can not believe they haven’t checked in on their patient at all! None the less give me a return call when I tried to follow up with them. Very bizarre practice. I can’t say they’re worth going to. Our previous vet in Manhattan was superb and always checked on their patients regularly! Dear ACV, if you’re reading this, I’m still waiting for that follow up call AND that returned call from Dr Morgan regarding the dosages! You should be ashamed of yourselves. We paid you hundreds of dollars for your services and you left us hanging!! How do you not care about your patients?!

I brought my cat in this past March and twice in the past few weeks (unrelated issues) and both Drs Morgan and Wood have provided excellent care and helped my girl to the road to recovery. I highly recommend them for their expertise, bedside manner, value, facility cleanliness and quick turnaround time. All staff have been consistently caring and warm. Great vet!

I brought my dog here after discontinuing visits to AnimalKind whose rates keep going up, up and away! The veterinarians here are very knowledgeable and caring with all the pets that I have seen brought here. My Maltipoo, Rocky, loves coming here and they treat him well. Prices are good and not too exorbitant!

Fantastic and reasonable vets. I cannot recommend them enough, they took fabulous care of my cats and the street cats I brought them, showing them all tremendous care and respect.

I started taking my 14 1/2-year-old dog here on the recommendation of another dog owner whose dog was going for acupuncture. We did a few acupuncture treatments and then switched to laser therapy, which my dog tolerated better. It seems to really be helping with arthritis. Sadly she suddenly started having seizures early one Sunday. By the time I arrived at All Creatures, she was already dying. They were very caring and compassionate. I really felt the love. When I got a new young dog, I decided to make All Creatures his vet and had him neutered at there. The staff is wonderful, very caring and have taken me quickly in an emergency.

All Creatures is a wonderful addition to the Prospect Heights neighborhood. Drs. Morgan and Wood are knowledgeable, courteous, and gentle. Dr. Morgan has been treating my cat Darlene for years, and I am always impressed with her thorough examinations and explanations about Darlene's health. Vet staff members Kimmy and Charles are also professional and kind. The new clinic space is clean, bright, and spacious. I highly recommend this new vet practice!

I began going to All Creatures right after they first opened. I heard about them from Dr. Morgan's husband Dr. Slade. (Who is also a veterinarian) I absolutely love Dr Morgan, her level of expertise surpassed what I had found at my previous vet clinic. She even discovered (through tests and research) why my dogs nose was cracked and splitting and gave me a solution that worked. 3 other vet clinics did not find an answer or solution. I no longer go to this clinic because 1. I moved further away 2. The last two times I called they were so busy that they couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. They don't do unecessary tests and aren't pushy about adding on services.

My labradoodle ASLAN needed urgent care after a bite gave him an allergic reaction. All Creatures saw us immediately. They were friendly, professional and had water for me and ASLAN in the heat. ASLAN's treatment was comprehensive and it cost less than I expected. Love it.
