Dr. Weldon evidently got into veterinary care because she cares deeply about animals and not just because it pays well. She’s extremely caring, understanding and friendly as is her entire staff. I’m so happy to have all of them available for all my animals here in Carlsbad.

Dr. Weldon and her staff are absolutely AMAZING!! There really aren't enough stars for this review. I was looking for a new vet, and decided to try out Weldon Vet Care....I was NOT disappointed at all!! At the time I had 3 dogs 2 bigger ones and a little one. My big dog thinks everyone is just alive to pet him, but he can look scary coming at you. I love that she treated them all the same. In the past I have gotten rude comments because of his breed. But he really is the BIGGEST baby ever!! My dogs loved her and I loved her for being so amazing with them. A few months after seeing our newest puppy for the first time, our puppy got really sick. I called the emergency line in a panic around 10 or 10:30 pm. She and her assistant were there in a flash. My poor baby was so sick, and Dr. Weldon did EVERYTHING she could to save her but she was too far sick. (later we discovered she had gotten a hold of a bird that had been poisoned) Dr. Weldon was so compassionate and even though I was ugly crying, I really hope she knew that I appreciated all of her efforts to save our baby. We received a sympathy card from the office which I thought was very sweet. She also remembered and asked how we were doing when I was in the office about a month later. I hope she never stops being a vet!! I won't take my dogs anywhere else!! I tell everyone to go to her and nobody has been disappointed yet!!
