Lola was treated like the little princess she is at Veterinary Dentistry. Poor thing broke a tooth playing fetch but thankfully, we caught it in time and a little sealant went a long way! :) I highly recommend Veterinary Dentistry for all your doggie dentistry needs.

Superbly well run veterinary hospital specializing in dentistry and oral surgery. You and your pets are welcomed immediately by receptionist and a personal ambassador that help you through the clinic's induction process. Then, one of the veterinarians performs an in-depth consult, after which your pet(s) is (are) assigned a personal handler for their stay at the clinic. During the dental procedure both the personal handler and your veterinarian provide you with updates through your choice of phone calls or text. The waiting room is quiet and clean and the after surgery consult with the veterinarian is professional and comprehensive. I highly recommend this operation for the routine and special oral care requirements of your pets.

After my dog broker her canine in half everyone was very helpful, from being able to do a consultation over the phone because of distance to explaining post op procedures. Dr Littles and the rest of the staff care a lot about what they do.

They took excellent care of our 8 year old boxer. She had broken teeth, loose teeth, plaque etc. She had to have 9 teeth extracted. They called about Daisy for a couple of days to make sure she was ok. If you want the best care for your pet, call them.

If there was a Mayo clinic for animals - this would be it. Details of our unbelievable experience there would fill a page. Our Cat's name is Boo Boo Kitty and he gets the best dental care at this clinic. Dr Bannon and staff are so professional and gentle. They take excellent care of our sweet boy. We drive 4 hours one way once a year for Boo's checkup and cleaning. It is worth the time and expense to keep his teeth and gums healthy for a long and happy life.

We are so happy to have learned of Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery of New Mexico from our primary veterinarian. Dr. Bannon and Dr. Littles assessed our dog’s 3 broken teeth and provided a detailed, understandable explanation to us, along with their recommendation for treatment. This included a root canal of an upper canine tooth and removal of tooth fragments. Additionally, 2 other teeth were pulled, having been weakened through wear caused by an abnormal jaw structure. We are confident and appreciative that following the doctor’s advice was the best approach. We are also grateful that we were able to get an appointment the same week we made the initial contact and more importantly, that the surgery could be scheduled merely days later. We received follow-up phone calls as promised during the day of the procedure, as well as the day following. Daisy was lovingly cared for by the entire staff. J. Dennett

I was apprehensive about the procedure and the cost. Nina, the Admin Assistant, gave me several resources to help me pay for the procedure. Dr. Rossi did an excellent job removing Charlie's teeth and stitching him up. She was so patient and went above and beyond in caring for Charlie and me. Now, Charlie is back to his happy, fluffy self. I'm very grateful for the care and attention I received at Vet Dentistry & Oral Surgery of NM.

I’ve never been so impressed by a Dr. and her staff. My dog and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. I was put at ease and was even offered coffee. The consultation/exam was thorough. It was myself, 2 Drs (one of whom I had scheduled to do the surgery) and 2 other staff members. When they left, I was greeted by yet another staff member to give me more information and answer any questions. The estimate was explained line by line. I was called to be informed when he was going into surgery, and given updates when I arrived. I arrived early, otherwise they had already told me they would call me with updates once he was in recovery. I was shown to a private waiting room, offered soda, snacks and Netflix to kill time. Dr. Bannon came in after my boy was safe in recovery and explained everything to me after surgery. She happily answered all of my questions. I was even told I could reach her 24/7 if I had any concerns. Checkout was flawless and they even brought my boy out in a cute bandanna and heart bandage for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Rupert and his mama are very grateful for your help!! Thank you, Dr. Bannon and staff!!

Our dog and cat, Harper and Edie, recently had dental services with the superb professionals at Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery while we were visiting in New Mexico. Harper had injured her teeth and Edie needed extractions. Both pets were treated with exceptional care by Dr. Bannon as well as her medical staff. Dr. Bannon was so easy to talk with and provided me with thoughtful and thorough assessments of both pets. Dr. Rossi assisted with timely follow-up communications. Melissa and Amanda were so pleasant and helpful in our several communications. Should our pets need dental care in the future, we would travel back to New Mexico so that they could be treated by this first rate veterinary dental practice.

Highly recommended by this very picky pet parent! After many years spent sans-dental due to a terrible experience at another clinic, I reluctantly brought my best friend (a petite senior Chihuahua X with extreme sensitivities) to VDOSNM for a much-needed teeth cleaning and extraction. It's official: I will never take her or any of our animals anywhere else! I couldn't possibly hold Dr. Rossi and her amazing staff in higher regard after this experience. Not only were they exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and considerate of the holistic management model we have chosen for our sweet girl - they were incredibly kind and gentle towards us both to boot. It's very obvious that they care about what they do, why they do it, and how they do it. My pup came back to me with an appetite and wagging tail (practically unheard of after any kind of clinic visit), adorned in a colorful bandana and an artfully decorated pink "band-aid" complete with teal flower. It is literally invaluable to know that we have friends who will care for our beloved fuzzy family in the same way that we do. I am so grateful. My heart overflows. <3

From the minute I called to schedule a consultation, to the follow up appt. for my dog after surgery---I have received the utmost best and most professional customer service. The staff is very attentive and caring for your pet and take the best care possible. My dog, Buddy went in for a teeth cleaning and had to get 10 teeth extracted, and I was extremely pleased with the results. Prior to coming here, I had taken him to our primary vet to do a teeth cleaning, and he had a severe reaction to the anesthesia and went into cardiac and respiratory arrest, and stopped breathing for 30 seconds. He had a very slim chance of recovering to 100% normal like before. After 2 weeks, he was completely back to his old self, but I never wanted to get his teeth worked on ever again. After getting referred to Dr. Kris Bannon, I was still very skeptical and worried that this might happen to Buddy again. I decided to put my trust in Dr. Bannon and her staff, and I am so glad that I did. For all of you that are worried that you have a high risk pet during anesthesia, please come and see Dr. Bannon for a consultation. After discussing all my concerns with her, she gave me several options for Buddy's care, in which I chose to have her do the cleaning and extractions. Now my dog is happy as can be, free from mouth infections, his breath smells great, and he has more spunk than before. I highly recommend Dr. Bannon and her staff for any of your animal's dentistry needs! Thank you again for taking such great care of Buddy!
