The staff is great and the office is always clean. My 16 year old cat had heart problems and then kidney failure a year later. When the time came to put her down Dr. Park was so compassionate. The staff allowed me the time I needed after she passed to say goodbye. They took care of cremation for me which was really nice and sent a condolence card shortly after. I adopted a cat recently from the shelter and took him to Dr. Park because he was sick when I got him. I received the same amazing care that I did with my first cat.

I'd give a zero if it would allow me. I will never recommend this vet to anyone, ever again. Incompetence cost my dog her life. How about unnecessary dental surgery? How about a misdiagnosis that cost my dog her life? We paid well over $2,500 for care for my Koko. I took her to another Vet for a second opinion after 5 months of a continual worsening of her health. Within 1 hour, a tumor was found in her nasal cavity, which was eventually diagnosed as terminal cancer. I spent many sleepless nights researching this diagnosis/treatment options. Sunranch should have found this! Koko had every single one of the symptoms but Dr. Parks said she had a sinus infection caused by the roots of her teeth invading her nasal cavity. No.. It wasn't that! It was cancer!!! IF Koko had been correctly diagnosed when she first exhibited her symptoms we, may have been able to save her life, rather than spending over $2,000 for an unnecessary dental surgery! In addition, we were recommended dental surgery on our 2 older dogs, at the cost of over $1,500.00 each. Well, guess what? It was not needed. Appears that expensive dental surgery is their way of collecting large amounts of money. I learned an important lesson by losing Koko. ALWAYS get a second opinion, no matter who the caregiver is.

We adore this place and are grateful to have found it. The staff has gone above and beyond to save the life of our dog on several occasions, and are always willing to accommodate any last-minute appointments we have needed for our dog or two cats. We trust Sun Ranch so much that we boarded our animals here during an extended overseas work trip. We live in Albuquerque now, but still make the 30 min drive to Los Lunas whenever our dog needs care. Couldn't recommend this place any higher and are always appreciative of the expert care they always provide with genuine care and genuine smiles.

I am so glad I found this place!! I had my last Vet for 35 years. I was very anxious about taking my dogs to a new Vet. I honestly think she is better than my previous Vet of 35 years. The doctor is so good with my Rottweiler and my Not-weiller. I was impressed. (My rott is also an amazing dog). She has no fear!! Which is nice when you have a 150 pound beast. The prices are very reasonable. The doctor listens to you . The assistant's are wonderful. I highly recommend this place!!

This was one of two sources I used for kenelling my dogs when I was away. I can’t recommend them enough. They were very accommodating and helpful for off hours drop offs and pick ups - and even made sure my dogs still had their doggy manners. Large, VERY clean kennels, and they have a sort of “daycare” during the day. The price is ridiculously awesome for the service.

We love this place. The staff is amazing, professional, talented, and kind. Even though we've moved to Albuquerque, we continue to bring our dog down to Sun Ranch in Los Lunas because we trust the people there and want the best. They've come through for us in several life-threatening emergencies over the years, and took great care of our dog when we boarded him there for 6 weeks as we traveled internationally. Couldn't recommend a better place for your dog or cat.

Not from the area and my chihuahua needed a stitch removed from surgery two months ago. The stitch didn’t fall out like it was supposed to instead was sticking out . Called up sun ranch and they said bring him in! 2 minutes after arriving my dog was good to go. Plus they didn’t charge me for it . I will definitely go back if I’m still in the area for other pet related situations .
