REVIEWS OF Petroglyph Animal Hospital IN New Mexico

Our 18 year old cat suddenly fell very ill last night and we knew it was time to let her go. We called Petroglyph animal hospital 20 minutes before closing and asked if we could bring her in, not only did they say yes but they stayed open late to help us with this painful decision. Dr. Ku and the rest of the staff took great care of us and provided amazing service. Thank you for being there in our time of need.

I've been to petroglyph a few times due to connivence and timely matters, but realizing the scam they are doing to animal owners is absolutely terrible. Our dog got a laceration under her eye and they charged us $81 JUST FOR WALKING THRU THE DOOR. Then they continued to quote us $834 (LOW ESTIMATE) for the procedures she was going to need. ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THE REALM OF AFFORDABLE. We told them NO and took her to Acequia (supposed to be the pricey vet) and they quoted us $377 for a next day surgery or they referred us to one of the emergency vets for same day procedures. (Acequia did not charge the exam fee and could not have been nicer and more resourceful.) That EMERGENCY vet quoted us $536. ALMOST $300 less than this place. They seem to care little about your pet and you. Would never recommend. Our dog is being well taken care of for much less.

We are new to Albuquerque, and just needed to refill flea and heartwork medication for our dog. We were told they were unable to refill a prescription without first doing a wellness visit. First, we move a lot and had never experienced this before (especially since we had up-to-date information from her previous vet visit 6 months prior) but thought it couldn't hurt. Our dog is fearful and always nervous when going to the vet. The less time we have to spend waiting around other animals is always appreciated. Our quick wellness visit and prescription refill took an hour and a half. We waited in the exam room for over thirty minutes before someone came to let us know our doctor had been pulled away for a procedure. By the time our vets came to see us, our dog was terrified. When we received our paperwork and went to head home, the receptionist informed us we needed to wait for the documentation to go through before we could pay and go home. Another 25 minutes later, someone asked if they could help us and finally checked us out. This may be a good hospital for emergencies, but I do not recommend it for routine needs.

Been waiting more than double the time I was originally told I would (close to 3 hours now) Slowest vet I've ever been to by far.

Terrible, no service if you go in first you get helped last would not recommend this at all unless you don't care and just want help I would go to ponderosa animal clinic

Have been there twice, saw one female doctor there and very cruel she was...changed to Dr. Hudgell and he's great very compassionate. Just operated on my dog and everything went fine. He was recommended by our dog's regular vet. A bit expensive.

I have nothing but great things to say about this office! I have a small accident prone little dog who eats everything she sees. A few months ago she was having very strange shakes and tremors and couldn't walk at all. We had been out at events all day so I have no idea what she could've gotten into. We took her in very late and the young female doctor helped us. She researched her butt off, performed multiple exploratory tests, asked other vets, and no one could figure out what was wrong. I'm a big Google person so I researched a ton as well and couldn't find anything that fit all her symptoms. This vet was extremely reassuring and comforting and told us she'd do everything she possibly could to save my little dog. She charged us a base rate because almost all tests were completely exploratory and told us not to worry about the price because all those tests were totaling around $800 at that point. We got out with a much lower price than we thought we'd have after tons of tests, fluids, and an overnight stay. She called me every few hours overnight just to check in. She saved my little dog by some miracle and I could not be more grateful!

Our dog ended up having a neck injury. We called and told them our financial situation and they said come in right away we still want to see him. We got there 20 minutes later and they got us in a room right away. They were very caring and compassionate to our situation. They took amazing care of our dog. They are amazing! Now our dog is on the road to recovery and is almost back to his old self. Thank you so much!!! Love, Flash’s family

I have been going to Petroglyph since I first got my dog 11 yrs ago. They have always been great to deal with. Recently I had to take my dog in for an emergency. They were fast, kind, and within an hour of being there my dog was acting more like himself and we were out the door. Highly recommend this place!

Our dog got a torn ear playing with another dog, so had to take him in on an emergency basis. They did the surgery at a cost of over $500, and brought him to us with a "cone of shame" on. The tech was distracted and in a hurry rattling off instructions. She mentioned a bandage. I asked "what bandage", she didn't answer, then let us go. Poor guy was shaking his head with the stitches in his ear. We made the follow up appointment and babied him for the weekend. The stitches started opening right before we took him for the follow up and they said we should have kept the wrap on his head. We told his head wasn't wrapped when he was handed over to us. They LIED and said all the techs claimed he WAS wrapped. They refused to take responsibility and then started claiming that WE were lying. We had witnesses that he wasn't wrapped!! They then wanted to charge us more money to correct their mistake. When we started threatening legal action, they started changing their stories and again refusing to take responsibility for not providing proper care. NEVER TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE!

Great place. The Vets are very knowledgeable

I took my dog here for a dental cleaning and saw Dr. Nash for the initial exam, but, like another reviewer, never saw her again and was unable to discuss treatment or ask questions. Everything after that was handled by techs, who ran a relay race asking the doctor my questions and getting her answers. Lab work is part of the fee, but I mentioned I had had the same labs done within 2 weeks by another vet and could I have a reduced fee since labs were not needed and I was told that I could not. The fee was $500. I declined to have loose teeth extracted because noone explained to me why it was necessary and later found out from another vet why I should have had them out. Overall I was dissatisfied with the treatment so I never returned with any of my 6 pets.

Every time I have gone to this vet the staff have been extremely helpful, friendly, and caring. I had to take my new pup in for shots this past week while toting around my 9 month old. The staff were wonderful and handled my pup so I could take care of my daughter. When leaving they stood by and carried my daughter in her car seat to the car. Extremely helpful to a new Mama. Not to mention that Dr. Espinosa was amazing and had tons of tips to give for caring for a new pup. This place is always packed when I have gone, so there usually is a wait even with an appointment, but the service I have received every single time has had me go back. Will continue to be my vet for my pets.

Olivia Cooper

Rude staff. Reception is terrible, they don't greet you or have no customer service at all. They just end up laughing at you when you're trying to check-in. The vet techs are super rude and make you look stupid when you ask questions. They interrupt you while you're explaining. They saw a few dandruff on my pet and automatically said it was fleas. I give regular baths to my dog and treat him with preventative. Absolutely no way my dog has fleas. They are super defensive when you ask questions or state your perspective. I know my dog better than then. They try every best way to charge you more. The worst is the reception, after an apt i wait nearly half an hour just to pay. And there's no one in the waiting room. They just retreat to the back and take their time. Super expensive! Don't blame this aweful experience on lack of communication, your staff and techs need customer service training. They need to respect customers! Don't waste time here.

Seliy Mata

Loved it here. Prices are good, all staff was really nice and the vet was able to calm my dog so easily which never happens. I will continue to take my dog here.

because we would not do an expensive surgery for cherry eye on one of my cats they told us we cannot take our other cats from visiting for other medical reasons, but that did not stop then from sending us reminder mail every month about our other cats needing shots and such to take our cats to see them for all the care. they only care about the bottom line. they did not care about my animals. just how much more money they could soak me for and when they told me to get shots for cats said I could not go there because of what they did to me. if this was Doctors office they would have there license revoked and the doctors banned. what kind of people do this? if your not rich and stupid do not take your pets to them ever. Getting your animals killed from wrong treatment is very possible when the company only wants your money. Update...these guys are real jerks as they never send you a message that you need to get. also...if you review them negative they will not let you take pets there even for emergencies...funny...they only care about your money...and they are rude on the phone...go to any vet but this one.

I have been taking my pets here for many years and have always had a good experience. I realize that at times the news you get is not always favorable and that can be stressful, however the veterinarians and staff are compassionate and honest. Many comments state that you never see the same veterinarian however if you request a particular doctor you can see that doctor. Remember, this is an emergency care center as well so emergencies are handled first. I don't get upset as I hope if it were MY animal in an emergency I would be treated the same way. The cost is reasonable and the care outstanding so I don't really understand the negative comments. Any problems or concerns I have ever had, which honestly only amounts to one, was dealt with immediately and handled professionally. I ask that you give this business a try before it is an emergency visit.

I just moved to Albuquerque and was having a hard time finding a good vet. After a few bad experiences I became skeptical of all Abq vets. My puppy needed neutering so I decided to try this place. I called around and they were the only vet that provided a firm, single estimate instead of a wide price range. Petroglyph stuck to their original estimated price and did a great job! There was only a small incision and they provided all pain medications and printed directions (all included in the estimated). They even followed up with a phone call and emails. I will be returning for all my pet's medical needs!

I will NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER recommend this vet to anyone. After a recent emergency with our dog while in the mountains, we contacted them to notify them that we were en route with our dog who had sustained a rattlesnake bite to the eye. They assured us that they had anti-venom on site. We raced back, at break-neck speeds, making it back to town in about 30 minutes, to obtain emergency care for our beloved FAMILY MEMBER. We called again when we were 10 minutes away to let them know. They told us they were closing and would not see our dog. They REFUSED to stay open, forcing us to drive another 30 minutes across town. Refused! Furthermore, our dear friend contacted this clinic today to inquire as to why this happened. This clinic had the audacity to tell him that 1) an additional 30 minute drive across town would not have made any difference; and 2) that they we're dealing with other emergencies. Absolutely cold, callous and unconscionable! While rattlesnakes and various other poisonous creatures are invariably a part of life in New Mexico, life and death for not only humans, but animals as well, can be decided in a fraction of a moment and this office's response was completely unacceptable and shameful. Calling this office an emergency vet is a disgrace. This place should either not be open or someone else needs to learn how to run it for the health and safety of our FAMILY MEMBERS. We would have gladly paid whatever the charge to ensure her survival, but they appear more concerned with THEIR convenience than our animals. If you value your pets, I strongly discourage you from taking them here.

The level of compasion and care we received by the staff and the DR after my dog was viciously attacked by another dog was outstanding. We did have to put her down due to her injuries and they were absolutely amazing with their compassion.

We've had to bring in both of our cats, on separate occasions, on Sunday afternoons without an appointment. We were seen promptly, the waiting room was quiet and calm, and the employees even remembered us after the first visit. A few days after each visit, we received a follow-up phone call to see how things were going with the applicable cat.

Skip Chauvin

We have been dealing with them for several years. There is not a one time that we have had an emergency that they have been available. Even when we knew it was time to put my Hunter down and we had spent several thousands of dollars there we were told "well you can come and sit in lobby and we will get to you as soon as we can." Today we called because my Sofia is having an emergency we were told no appointment for a week and half. We told them it was an emergency. They did not care. I am going to look for another Vet today.

Stay away. Receptionist EXTREMELY RUDE and not my first rude incounter. Taking my money elsewhere. Thank u Taylor Ranch Vet for ur professionalism and empathy!.......Follow up to petroglyph's response ....Receptionist never gave me info about an available appt nor did she attempt to give me any information when I asked a question. The only reason she knew I was going to Taylor Ranch was because I called back hours later for his records. In the future responses should be related to the facts. Goes to show she's not honest either.

I took our 17 year old small chihuahua in to be put down. The price was very excessive at $243!!! Then I was offered several more expensive options. The price was so high that it detracted from the experience. I will call around in the future.

Excellent attention!!! Great service and especially love that they are open late. Thank you for helping mi lil one.

We had a puppy with some serious problems that our regular vet was unable to take care of. After looking around we found Petroglyph. the staff and Vets were great and really worked with us to care for our puppy's special needs. I am so greatful for the wonderful care.

If you are looking for care and compassion from Petroglyph, you can forget it. We took our dog in to have him checked out because he had diarrhea and vomiting. We took in a fecal sample for testing and since they send it off to California to have it tested we waited for over 3 days to get the results. Well when my wife calls to find out if they got the results back, there response was " yeah we got it", they didn't call us to let us know... we had to call them which is truly sad on their part. So when she asked what the results showed, to see if he had a parasite or something else, they said that a vet tech or doctor would get back to us..... when asked how soon would they call back the response was " oh, sometime today"..... SERIOUSLY!!! Again, no sense of urgency or compassion from this place. Never again will we give these people another dime of our money. DO NOT GO HERE if you really love your pet.

Andres Montoya

Convenient location for us. Dr. Ku is highly recommended for her empathy and patience and understanding. The systems occasionally have an issue where the back computers have information on file that the front doesn't or visa versa.

I've always had good experiences with this vet. The DVMs are professional, caring, and compassionate. The hospital has great hours and is open late, even on weekends. Whenever I find a stray dog (which is often), I always bring it here and they are more than willing to scan for a microchip, contact the owner when a chip is present, and coordinate the re-uniting of the pet with owner. These people are awesome in my opinion.

My Service Dog Sushuua was hurt badly and the staff were amazing and sincerely concerned. I am a Disabled Combat Marine Veteran who is so greatful....thank you all so much..

Disorganized! We never see the same vet twice, and no one can ever find our pets' records. We have to fill them in on our pets' treatments and medications every time we go in (which is frequently for our cat who has severe allergies), because either no one is taking notes, or no one ever reads those notes. Ironically, I am often left waiting to check out for 15+ minutes waiting for the vet to enter her notes (that no one can ever find). Also, and on more than one occasion, we have scheduled an appointment for a specific issue, and the vet or tech has come in with no idea why we are there, or starts talking about a different topic entirely and has to be redirected. We once had a tech come in and set up to give our cat a rabies shot when we were just there to learn how to give her injections ourselves. More than a couple times they called me to tell me my cat’s prescription was ready to pick up and waiting at the counter, only to have “no idea” where it is when I get there because, “I don’t know who called you but it wasn’t me.” Have you people never heard of post-it notes? How about just talking to each other? How about taking some accountability for the job you’re meant to do? It took months to get allergy shots ordered for our cat, because no one could tell us the full story of what needed to be done to order them all at once. The vet told us she would order the shots. We call to inquire about them a week or two later, and no one has any information. Call back a few weeks later, and they must be late coming back from the manufacturer. Take the cat in for and appointment and get slapped with a bill about 10x higher than expected to pay for our cat's allergy shots—turns out they won't be manufactured until we pay first. Okay, why didn't you tell us that 2 months ago when we first asked you to order them? And on and on. The people are nice, the facility is nice, but no one knows what's going on at any given time. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a pet with chronic health issues. They're fine for vaccinations, a checkup, or an emergency, but not for any kind of extended care. If you need emergency care for your pet, I would recommend VCA on Montgomery. UPDATE: We took our chronically ill cat to a new vet. She faxed a request for her records to Petroglyphs, and they did not respond. At least they’re consistent.

These vet's are the most dishonest, uncaring, greedy, & unethical people, my wife & I have EVER had the misfortune to trust with the care of our beloved dogs!!! Imagine our surprise when, after spending North of $100 for a new puppy exam, being charged ANOTHER $45.00 for a fecal test that is INCLUDED in other vetenarian's "new puppy exams"!!! Then, we were informed that our older dog needed urgent dental work costing over $250!!! Added to that was if our dog needed any teeth pulled, that would add ANOTHER $250 PER TOOTH!!! We could have driven 1000 miles to Missouri, (where my wife used to reside) gotten the dental work done, and even if ANY teeth had to be pulled the bill would not have exceeded $250!!! When we called to discuss this outrageous price gouging, we received nothing but absolute lies, deceit, & stammering trying to justify these inflated billing practices. Also, because we were questioning their fees, suddenly, our new puppy needed to be treated for "hookworm". Yet, we took our new puppy to a different Vet, and no mention of hookworm at all!!! PLEASE RECONSIDER BRINGING YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!

Bryan Norman

My golden retriever puppy was bit in the face by a rattlesnake on Saturday evening while playing in our backyard. We called Petroglyph and they turned us away, stating that they were too busy. The person who "triaged" the call wasn't even a veterinary professional; she was a receptionist. Can you explain to me how a receptionist has the clinical ability to triage a life-threatening emergency? How is this ethical? I talked with the manager the next day, and she was courteous and professional, which I appreciated, but it still doesn't allay my concerns. Thankfully, VCA emergency vet hospital on Montgomery and Carlisle saved our puppy's life because he had indeed been injected with the deadly venom. If your pet is having an emergency, and you value their life, I encourage you to go somewhere other than Petroglyph. Petroglyph, you need to do WAY better.

lonnie hernandez

Read the other reviews before you read mine. I just wanted to let you everybody know that this is the worst Animal Hospital!!! I have gone to in my life. I have been a pet owner for a long time now I have 2 loving dogs now. I had recently got a 8 week old puppy precious little thing he was he ended getting very sick he was throwing up not keeping any fluid down so we take him to this petroglyph animal hospital the worst mistake the doctor misdiagnosed my animal there was no empathy for my dying animal I feel like I paid almost $100 just for my dog to get examined and the veterinarian didnt even touch him just told us it was parvo then paid another 300 for a misdiagnoses. And gave intravenous fluids to give him at home by no means we schooled in veterinary medicine. I feel like they did not help in any way they gave us that medicine and said hope for the best. I tried calling back because none of the parvo medicine was working my dog was still throwing up they told me I would have pay another 100 for my puppy to be seen again and this after they misdiagnosed my dog in the first place. So my poor puppy ended up dying not even 24 hours after been seen at this animal hospital. I just wanted to share my story with everybody of my horrible experience and horrible customer service petroglyph animal hospital if you want to call them that.

If I could give this place NO stars I would- DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!! All these people care about is money and over charging 80.00 for a walk in plus 59.00 for 5 pills that didn’t do anything for my dog. They are INHUMANE and don’t care about animals. Like I said, MONEY HUNGRY. You are a ticket number and once you’ve paid your questions will go unanswered. My dog fell off a cliff and all they did was give him pain meds for a total of 175.00$ . It’s not the money, it’s the attitude and carelessness of these people.

V Unzi

Horrible experience, we will NEVER return, they deserve 0 stars....we took our dog here yesterday and it was the worst experience. When we arrived we were told the wait would be about 2 to 2.5 hours, we decided to stay since our dog was actively bleeding and very uncomfortable. When we were done checking in, the front desk told us a tech would be out to triage us shortly, we waited for about an hour before asking when exactly the tech would be out to check on our dog. When we asked about it, it seemed like we were a nusance for asking. We waited for another 10 minutes before a tech came out to see us. The tech, her name was Martha, was incredibly unhelpful and uncaring, she seemed very annoyed that she had to be out there helping us. Once we finally gave her all of the info as to why we brought our dog in, she took our dog back into the back room to get his vitals, or so she said. She had our dog back there for about 10 minutes, when Martha finally returned, all she said was, its going to be 3 hours before someone can see you.....thats all she said....nothing about how our dog was or if his vitals were stable..... I replied that we've already been waiting an hour, how can it still be 3 more hours? She again just said it will be 3 hours before you can be seen, that's all she said over and over again. There is no compassion shown at this clinic, especially with the Tech Martha, I was shocked about how rude and uncaring she was. Moral of the story is..... if your dog is hurt/injured/actively bleeding- DO NOT BRING THEM HERE, they do not care. We left this facility and went to Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Centers of New Mexico where they took great care of our boy.

I brought my cat in today for an appointment to deal with a sore that had been growing on his hind quarters. The receptionists were extremely friendly as soon as I entered. I was seen on time and the vet and the vet tech were both extremely professional and kind. They took great care to make sure my questions were answered and they were very thorough. I felt at ease immediately! So glad to have this vet office so close to home!

I have been taking my cat here for a few years. I was going here because I live nearby and my cat is very skittish and is afraid of every thing. However every time I go there I see a different vet. Which is fine since everything is on the same computer system right? Wrong. Each vet I see tells me something different is wrong w my cat. First she needed a tooth removed which I had done since they're the experts right? Then a year and a half ago they said she had a kidney problem and needed special food. I took her in about a month ago and they said she does not have a kidney problem and probably NEVER had one! Um, ok... Then the vet said my cat had a heart murmur! They referred her to a cardiologist. Now I'm questioning whether she ever needed that tooth removed. I did not make an appointment with that cardiologist, but I am taking my cat to another vet for a second opinion. When I recently emailed them about my complaints, I never received a reply addressing my concerns. I must say I have not had any issues w the front desk staff there. But overall, I am very unhappy about all of these different "issues" my 6 year old cat has.

Poor/fair is an understatement. Complete rip off for their services. My dog had a swollen leg so we took him to petroglyph. After the exam($45) they said they needed to xray and it would be $120. After the xray they diagnosed my dog with cancer of the bone in his front leg. We had a choice to amputate or euthanize. He is a large breed (over 100 lbs.) so amputation was not an option especially with it being his front leg. I asked for pain meds for him until my wife and I could decide what to do. When my wife went to pay the cashier was very bubbly and smiling like the dog hadn't just been given a death sentence. We were charged over $400. $200 for the xray not $120 and another $200 + for the meds and office visit. I think that this is highway robbery. Two days later I receive an email from them saying my dog might look healthy but he should have his senior exam. Do they monitor the emails they send? Obviously not. I am angry at the greedy owners not the Dr. She was very nice and genuinely felt bad about my dogs condition. She needs to get a job at a new vet that doesn't have owners that will pray on people that have sick animals to make an extra buck. I will not return and am extremely disappointed.

Petroglyph made my cat's annual so easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy, from booking an appointment to seeing the doctor. Soooo glad I found them through The staff are professional, warm, and very caring. The doc did a great job with Bijou, performing a thorough checkup even though the cat was super determined to creep away and shrink into the nearest nook or cranny under the examination table. I'm actually excited to come back for the next annual!

Waiting over three hours to be seen, kept being told I was the next one. Then others would be taken back before me. Waste of money and a waste of time

Called late Sunday night without appointment as my dog Buttons had a severe blockage due to cancer. Dr Atkinson and the staff got me in right away, they should unsurpassed compassion and excellent professionalism. Big KUDOS!!

Our beloved older dog was having a rough weekend and we knew his time was coming to an end. We hoped he could make it until Monday to see his regular vet however life is never predictable and he was in obvious distress. We took him to Petroglyph and they were amazing and compassionate in what was a very difficult time for us. Dr Wilson is a sweet and caring Dr and she treated our dog as if he were her own pet. So glad that there are folks like the ones working at Petroglyph that are able to help out in such scenarios to give our pets love and care.

The Dr's and staff are amazing! We had an emergency situation. They showed humanity, compassion and generosity well beyond what I expected. If you can't afford the services, they will work with you to ensure that your furry family member will return home healthy and happy!!

After seeing how many TERRIBLE reviews are posted about this clinic, I should’ve stayed away. I think most people will do anything to save our loved ones... My dog collapsed at 430pm. This type of incident can be life-threatening due to her heart condition. I contacted Petroglyph to give advanced notice of the situation, and I arrived by 5pm. When I signed in, I was told “it will be just a couple of minutes”. There was only 1 other dog besides mine in the lobby area. By 5:45pm, a large German Shepard arrived with a limp in his left leg. Both dogs were taken back and treated by a doctor before mine. At 6pm, after I waited for almost an hour I asked the staff for an update . She replied “probably another 90 minutes or so because an emergency arrived while you were waiting and he was given priority”. So while the German Shepard was having his leg examined, my dog was suffering and potentially declining in my arms. Apparently a LIMP is considered more “life-threatening” than a heart condition resulting in collapse. SELECT ANOTHER CLINIC IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE THAT REQUIRES RAPID ATTENTION. *Ive been warned about Petroglyph Animal Hospital REPEATEDLY. There are complaints just like mine posted all over this page...This visit was against my better judgment but there are few, if any, emergency clinics within a reasonable distance. LESSON LEARNED!!

How does this place stay in business? I would not trust any family pet to these people . Angelica is a very rude individual, not to be trusted. When I called to ask what happened to a dog I brought in for a chip scan, the receptionist left me on hold for 10 minutes, then finally came back and said she could not find any info on the dog (bad attitude) and she had to talk to a manager as soon as she could locate one. It took an hour to find out what happened to this dog? I do not trust this group. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS PEOPLE !!.The owners need read all the negative reviews and terminate the rude people there

Richard Medina

I have read several bad reviews about this place but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt because it is close to my house.. boy was that a mistake. The "receptionists" and most of the vets dont seem to really care about your animal. The front desk staff is very lacking in customer service and a couple of the times i went in acted as if i was bothering them by taking my pets in. I did however once get a vet that seems like she genuinely cared about my animals and i wish i could remember her name. Other than that experience every single time i visted this hospital it was very uncomfortable and i hated that i decided to keep taking my dogs there. I will go back to my previous vet even though it is across town, at least there they act as if they want to help. Do not go here if you really care about your pets and if you dont want to walk out broke as hell!!

The people seemed to care but not the vets. And my puppy comes home with ticks!! My apartments spray for all of that do it wasnt my house or the breeder cuz we would have seen by now. Vut after going to tge hospital we have found 3, 2 there and now one in our bed!! they tried to tell us ticks anr lyme disease is rare. They covered themselves.

I bought a 7 week old puppy who unfortunately had parvo. After realizing she was very sick on a SUNDAY, I brought her in. She was put in a room and tested right away. When it came back positive, I was given a few options as to how she could be helped. I knew that it was going to be expensive, but I respect that I was given different treatment options. She's been in the hospital so far from Sunday until today, Wednesday and she's still alive. From the friendly receptionists who always transfer my calls to the back when I request a status, to the techs and Dr's working on her around the clock, THANK YOU for keeping her alive this long. She was so tiny and I wasn't sure she would make it this long. I'm hopeful she will be able to rejoin us soon as we can't wait to snuggle and love on her. Your hospital has been nothing but a blessing to me. Love, Cali's Family

I went this hospital despite the bad reviews. It was an emergency and no other clinic was taking last minute walk ins. Dr. Pease (Shannon) was professional and welcoming. She was very nice and seemed like she truly cared for the well being of my dog. She went above and beyond to make sure he was okay, and made a correct diagnosis. He was better in no time! The end cost was fairly priced, and she even went out of her way to give me alternatives to save money. If you want a vet that will take good care of your pet, I highly recommend Dr. Pease.

I generally take my animals to Blue Cross Animal Clinic on Carlisle, where they see Dr. Wheeler as their regular vet. When we have an emergency or Blue Cross just can't see the animals in a reasonable time we go to Petroglyph, which is WAY on the other side of town from where we live, but absolutely worth the trip. They are quite possibly the most honest, down-to-earth animal hospital we have ever been to in town. They don't prescribe unnecessary meds, it's clean (I have no clue why anyone would say it isn't, it's always been clean every time we've had to go), it's cheap, and although sometimes there's a long wait, the staff has always been patient, nice, calming, and very thorough. They even call a few days after the visit to check in on your pet, which is awesome! This is also the only emergency animal hospital I have been to in Albuquerque where they don't automatically assume your pet has some kind of horrible disease and run up a huge bill with unnecessary tests, and believe me, I've been to most of them and experienced that quite a bit. I applaud them for their awesome customer service and will continue to take my animals there, and continue to recommend them to friends with pets who want good emergency care for a reasonable price.

I have taken my animals to Petroglyph for over 10 years and have always been happy with the service they provide. The staff is great and very caring towards my animals.

Melina Riecke

100% happy and satisfied. Dr.Rael is great!

Don't take your pet here. People in front office are rude, uncaring. I went to Taylor Ranch and saw Dr. Dana and had much better results

Kendall Gorman

Horrible experience. We waited for over an hour and never got to see a doctor. We had an 11am appointment. At 11:30 someone came by and apologized for the wait and said it would just be another 5 minutes. 30 minutes later, we still hadn't seen a doctor. We ended up having to leave, as I had to get back to work.

Gregory McCormick

Went to Petroglyph Animal Hospital today and was told there was a 3-4 hour wait. My dog was bitten in the face and had a puncture hole. I went all over town and found another vet that would help in 34 minutes. I started hearing the staff talk about Petroglyph and they said that Petroglyph Animal Clinic always tells their people the wait is 3-4hrs even if the wait is shorter. That doesn’t make any sense but I know it happened to me today. If other clinics/hospitals are talking then it has all the makings to be true. Who would turn business away and who would not want to insure our pets/children get the best care? Why would they not recommend another clinic who might be able to help if they are that busy? I was so upset by the staff’s lack of concern when I walked in to ask if we could be helped. It was as if they were put out by my question. To know that another clinic was willing and displayed sincere concern over our situation has caused the Petroglyph business to lose mine.

Thoroughly disappointed. Wanted to bring in my dog for a heart-worm test and to get her on preventative, and they said because she hadn't been in for 2 years they wouldn't do it without a full office checkup, despite her having had one at another vet in between. I think it's unconscionable that a vet wouldn't do heart-worm preventative just so they can bilk people out of money for an unnecessary office visit. I will definitely be reconsidering taking any of my animals here again.

The Dr and staff were amazing they were genuinely concerned for my pup they took great care of her made sure we knew instructions step by step. I found my pets permanent Dr. Thank you so much for all you do.

They staff and doctor were wonderful. But my hedgehog whitch was my baby and everything to me had to be put down due to old age and complications. We wanted our little guys ashes to have him close to us and a reminder of our love and time we spent together. But unfortunately the staff messed up on the cremation and put it for Communal ashes instead of private. I was very hurt to find out that I won’t be getting my baby back ever again.

We took our puppy there one evening after she vomited several times. They were the closest vet still open at 8pm. The service was good and the staff was competent. While the cost was pretty expensive, they did refund some of our payment since they did not do everything they anticipated they might need to do. Overall a good experience.

I made an appointment for my dog to be seen, she is having really bad breath, fever, and not acting herself. We brought her in, turns out she has an infected abscessed tooth and they want to charge $900 to remove it!! Yes!! $900.00!! They did not even prescribe her antibiotics!! I called around and found another animal clinic that will care for this issue for $350 including antibiotics! Is there a reason why antibiotics were not ordered?!? There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't have at least given her antibiotics. Avoid this place!! UPDATE!! So I brought my dog to another vet and it wasn't an abscessed tooth at all!! It was 7 goat heads caught in between her jaw and cheek! I am very upset that Petroglyph misdiagnosed this! Btw...this other vet removed the goat heads as an emergency visit and actually prescribed antibiotics all for $304!! And Petroglyph....there was NO reason you could have ordered antibiotics until she was seen by a vet. What if we weren't able to afford to take her in as an emergency visit to this other place and she died from the massive infection in her mouth while we waited for her to be seen?!?! Sometimes people cannot get their pets into the vet right away due to schedules, availability and/or cost.

Do your research before you commit to get care at this establishment. My dog passed as a result of an incompetent vet.

Dr. Ku and her team are amazing! I brought my pug in for an issue and they were so sweet, caring and professional. Dr. Ku was informative and very personable.

I saw Dr. Kim Lavin today for concerns about my elderly adopted cat. I adopted Rosie a few months ago from my grandma, when she couldn't take care of her anymore. Rosie, who is 16 years old, had been having multiple vauge symptoms that had been getting progressively worse over the past few weeks. I was dreading taking this cat to the vet but we received excellent care from begining to end. I was able to make an appointment quickly and easily with a caring secretary. We were seen quickly after check in even though multiple emergent cases came though the door. The technician was very experienced and polite while collecting information about Rosie's symptoms. And the Vet was A+++ in every way. Rosie's prognosis isn't good but Dr Lavin helped me make a hard decision but is ultimately the most humane. Dr. Lavin understood that at Rosie's age pallitive treatment for a major illness (likely cancer) was probably the best course of action we could take. I was not pressured into costly tests for a confirmation of something we'd only symptom manage. I could not have asked for a better vet.

Victoria Rodriguez

Will never visit this vet again. We arrived shortly after 4pm w our dog who had a dislocated shoulder. There was 1 walk in ahead of us. We then sat patiently and after they took in a few appointments and the walk in ahead of us, they approched us around 5:15 and said you guys should be next and it shouldn’t be too much longer. Fast-forward two more hours of waiting and they finally place us in a room at 7pm. We then sit in the room for over an hour being completely ignored. We stuck our head out and asked multiple times if we were going to be seen soon and they kept telling us the same thing “you guys are next”. We watched the waiting room fill up and empty out at least 2 times! By the time they finally saw us, her shoulder went back in to place on its own. So 4 hours of being ignored and the problem fixed itself. They could have easily checked on her a few hours before and noticed her shoulder fixed itself and could have had us in and out in 10 min. I started to feel like we were being ignored on purpose. Paid $130 to sit in a waiting room for 4 hours and for a few pain meds. While the front desk staff was friendly and apologetic, their process of seeing walk-ins needs to be revised. They are very inefficient and did not manage their apporintments well at all. I would find another place to take your pet that knows how to actually handle walk-ins.

We brought a dog in that we found to see if he was chipped. He was, and they contacted the owner who said she would come get him the next day. We called the next day and the day after that to make sure the owner had collected him, but the staff just seemed annoyed with us for asking, and eventually told us the dog was no longer there but wouldn't tell us if the owner had collected him, or if he was at Animal Humane or the City or anything at all. When we tried to call them back, they hung up on us.

Mario Carrillo

Thank you so much for Abby. She was not in a good place 6 days ago. Today she is back to my shadow. Can't thank you enough.

Karen Bica

I couldn't have asked for better treatment for my dog and myself - from the person who answered the phone, to the vet tech, and the vets themselves! I had never used Petroglyph before, but had an emergency situation with one of my dogs so I called them. Everyone was considerate and helpful, which turned an upsetting day into a good experience. I highly recommend Petroglyph Animal Hospital and will use them again if the need arises.

I have never had a problem with either the doctors or receptionists. Polite and easy to deal with. This is an emergency room for animals, so I understand that coming in to buy food sometimes takes a backseat to someone's sick or injured pet. This is expected.

Cynthia Nodine

They took my puppy in, with a broken leg, literally minutes before they closed. They were the only ones to do so. I dont know what would have happened without them.

Kristin Edmondson

I have always had great service and my preferred vet is Dr. Ku. She has taken great care of all my pets. I like all the vets but she in particular remembered my caucasian ovcharka right away as soon as she saw me not that dog. That shows she cares about not just her clients but the owners as well. I will only use petroglyph for my pets services. I have a lot of dogs and only trust this facility with each and every one and their special needs.

If you need a veterinarian for an exotic pet, petroglyph is a good place.

Aubree Hesley

I have no inkling of an idea why this place has nasty reviews from dissatisfied customers. My puppy, 14w contracted Tremorgenic Mycotoxicosis last night with severe symptoms of tremors, vomiting, diharrea and excessive drooling. They were fast and professional when we arrived there and she was taken into the back immeadiately a couple hours before closing to be examined and have blood work done. They were exceptionally thorough at asking questions to narrow her treatment plan and care. I had called ahead 10 minutes and explained her symptoms, and they recognized on the spot who we were and my puppy we were bringing in. Yes, treatment can be expensive but also consider these are individuals who went through just as much schooling as doctors and nurses, they have a large scope of biological quirks to practice in. The treatment they give is just as complicated as treating human patients and everyone knows doctors visits are not cheap. The staff were very friendly and very compassionate, they let me hold my pup before they closed and told me to take my time. I am very satisfied with their emergency clinical treatment and believe whomever is posting such hateful messages are not telling the whole story of their experience. I would highly recommend as an emergency clinic. -aubree h.

I never ever right reviews on anything and after reading the negative ones I am shocked that people are so worried about the price for the Care of a family member no amount of money means anything to me when it comes to my family members ..I brought my pup of 10 years young to this facility in an emergency because the previous vet never ran tests to confirm my dogs heart failure and I saw the other vet since April and all they did was prescribe my pet multiple medications which ultimately cost him his life because he never had issues with his heart...when bringing him into him here they tried to save my pet and were completely honest during the whole process he fought as much as he could until we had to put him down on August 3rd and dr ku and dr Esposito were amazing they tired there best to save my little guy and were compassionate during this whole process even the staff was great with updating me how he was doing everyday he was hospitalized they even let me bring his parents in to visit him and also were there when we said goodbye which was the most heartbreaking thing of my life saying goodbye to my youngest pup dr ku explained everything and we all even sat on the floor and I was able to hold my pup until his last heartbeat ..they even said you can stay in the room as long as you want and I didn’t feel rushed at all... I will never ever take my other dogs to another vet unless it’s here they are accredited vet which not many are in New Mexico and they know what they are doing ....they even offered us a military discount since my husband was in the service the bill was expensive but they will work with you and I don’t care what it cost if I am trying to save a family member of mine I don’t have a bunch of money to just spend but if I am trying save a family member of mine no price tag matters please ..thank you again for being compassionate and helping me during this time !

We have a beautiful, new litter of puppies. Today was their first visit to the vet. The staff and manager were knowledgeable and so friendly! The office was busy, but we were in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. I really felt as though they cared about our puppies - even making a special bed up for the mom so she could stay with them during their visit. The charge was also very reasonable, especially when considering that the whole litter was there for care along with our mom dog. Thank you!! A+++++

I can not recommend this place enough. I had to put my dog down a few days ago and they were so incredible in the way they treated us. Immediately upon entering the building, they took one look at us and ushered us to a room away from other people. They were so sympathetic and understanding the whole time. The price they gave us over the phone, was actually the price we paid. They did not rush us but they also did not leave us just waiting in the room wondering where they went. As soon as we were done saying our goodbyes, they took us out the back door so we did not have to walk through the waiting room, crying our eyes out. Also, they gave us a complimentary paw print of my boy in a leather case, with a place to put his picture.

I brought my dog in due to an undefined ailment. He is walking and running sideways, "sort of" The Veterinarian did an x-ray and said that she observed a herniated disk, "sort of" I don't think he could run an jump with a herniated disk. Go figure. She did the x-ray with my permission, but I objected with the caveat that it would most likely lead to a dead end. Anyway my dog has symptoms of not eating, not much of a B.M. and just kind of acts listless. $267 later I'm back home with the same sick dog and $267 less in my funds. Not happy with the vet that diagnosed my dog. I feel cheated to say the least.

These people have no business treating animals. We had an appointment scheduled for 7:30am to which we arrived at 7:20am. We were there to have surgery on our GS to remove a cyst which we were quoted $900. We had his blood work done on Monday our dog had nothing to eat after 22:00 as instructed, so we were ready to go. We were put into a room at 7:30am and sat there for 20 minutes not talking to anyone with a hungry dog already nervous and obviously no feeling well. Our dog is vocal but harmless so while we were waiting he barked when it was only us in the room. Not once did he bark at a tech or doctor at that point. While we waited for someone our dog threw up, rightfully so, he isn't feeling well and the situation is a nervous one. Finally at 7:55am our first contact with what we assume is a tech. Immediately she was standoffish and rude. Spoke to us in a condescending manner acting as if our dog snarled, barked or acted aggressive to her which never happened. She actually didn't walk into the room she placed some paperwork on the counter told us that she would clean it up but that she wouldn't walk into the room but "we need to take him to the corner of the room and keep him close to us". We looked over the paperwork and the bill was for $1630, which as stated earlier was incorrect. We pointed that out to her and she replied with but he is having a (medical term I cant remember) to which we said no he is having a cyst removed. She said I will be right back I am going to go look at his record (shouldn't that have been pulled last night and prepared for already?). When she returned our dog sensed something and barked, and anybody with a little experience with a GS should know they sound scary that's who they are. Our dog doesn't lunge or snap or attack he just barks. We immediately disciplined him which our tech interjected her approval with "oh good your disciplining him". She said she was gonna prep him for blood work, which we said had already been done Monday. After that we were switched to another room in the transfer we were to walk against the wall with us between him and anyone else (picture a movie of when they transfer prisoners between cells, thats what it felt like). The whole time the tech was in a barricading stance acting as if she were risking her life to protect an elderly lady, please. After we got in the new room we decided that we had had enough and left it was 8:07am there was no one in the lobby except patients. I got a call at 8:17am from the clinic I guess they waited another 10 minutes to back into the room and found we were no longer there. What is the point of an appointment if your not going to be prepared for it? If you cant understand that an animal might be acting out of character because they aren't feeling well why are you in this business? If your not going to introduce yourself to the animal and just be intimidated how else do you expect the dog to act? The unprepared unprofessional manner in which your tech didn't handle the situation escalated an already stressful morning. If your tech cannot have compassion she is in the wrong business and should stay home with her 50 cats. We will never, ever go back and will spread the word of our experience during a stressful time for our family member.

Andrea Mullen

Sensitive and Caring Staff. We had to have our beloved family pet euthanized. They got us into a room that had low lights and a blanket on the table. There were even boxes of Kleenex available. The procedure was handled beautifully. They even came to the room to get payment so we wouldn't have to deal with it at the front desk. This was a particularly difficult situation and they made it as easy on us as possible.

Academy Boarding Kennels

From the owner of Academy Boarding Kennels: Kudos to the staff at Petroglyph Animal Clinic. Last weekend I brought in my 13 ½ year-old Cocker Spaniel, who was suffering from several hours of diarrhea. I called ahead to inform the clinic staff that I was on my way as a walk-in customer with an emergency. They quickly took my dog back to the treatment area and within ten minutes, a technician came out to tell me my dog was severely dehydrated and had a temperature of 92 degrees— normal is 101-102— and was close to going into shock. The technician also told me that they had already placed her in an enclosure to start warming her up and would need to re-hydrate her, possibly throughout the night. When I picked her up the next evening, my Cocker’s eyes told me that she was going to make it. After I fed her a can and a half of ID, I slowly started her back on her regular dry food. Now she is doing very well.

We had to take our dog in for an emergency. They handled my sweet pup with such care. The doctor (Dr. Kimberly Lavin) was amazing. She was incredibly sympathetic. Our dog did end up passing away, which left us totally heartbroken. Dr. Lavin went above and beyond to comfort us and bring us as best of an answer as she could. They set up my sweet little Mogli on a comfy bed with a nice blanket so the kids could say goodbye. It was very thoughtful. She later sent us a personalized sympathy note in the mail, which meant so much to me. Our loss was very great but knowing he was cared for by her in his last moments was very comforting.

It is very unfortunate that when you don't have a scheduled appointment and you actually have a serious life threatening issue with your pet this place will not be bothered to help you. I have some friends that were in Cuba and their dog was bitten by a rattlesnake at their cabin. She was bitten directly in the eye. They called ahead and advised the hospital to have all the necessary items needed ready for their arrival. With the land speed record broken they flew from Cuba to Albuquerque to go save their family member. I'm sure you can understand the panic they were feeling. When they were ten minutes away they called ahead to make sure.....that the staff was ready. They were advised that the hospital would not stay open and by the time they got there the hospital would be closed. ???????? Wth . Won't stay open ? To save or family member.I don't know about anyone reading this, but I will never, I mean never take my animals there . And I plan on telling everyone I know that these people don't care about you animals, except if you have an appointment.During regularly scheduled hours. Wow.

The young woman vet we saw on Memorial Day lacked compassion, acted very busy though no one was there and was just generally rude and unhelpful and not very knowledgeable and my opinion

I had a very sick dog....i had called many places then I called Banfield they unfortunately could not see my dying dog until Wednesday or so. With that they recommend that I call Petroglyph. Since they came recommended I had high hopes. When the desk person answered the phone I instantly asked if they had available space to see my dog as an emergency. I also told her that I could not afford any bill and that Banfield had recommended them. The woman responded with yes we have space...but we dont offer financial assistance. Then she said we offer care credit. After explaining that i would not qualify. Her response was rude, callous, and straight out cold. She told me to call Animal Control...Animal Control !!! when i asked if she met Animal Humane she said no Animal Control.... 1) Animal Control is ONLY OPENED DURING THE WEEK. 2) They dont offer Quality of Life Assements. She could of recommended another Vet or clinic...but animal control to an already griefing person. Needless to say I got my dog in at a wonderful clinic. At least at VCA they truely care for animals. 1 I will never ever take my animals to you. 2) i will never ever recommend your clinic. 3) im a dog trainer and i will never advise any of my clients go to you. VCA will have my business and they will be always recommended. When uncaring people work at your business they cost you more than just a bad review. Please dont waste my time responding because nothing you could possibly say will change my view of the service you provide or the lack of... I wasnt asking for a hand out. My dog was dying and all i truely needed was more of conformation. But no....nothing....I hope that you truely take my post to heart. Especially since my story isnt the only one here that received a less than i dont give a hoot about your animals suffering attitude. I also found out later through NextDoor that you guys actually have helped individuals that couldn't afford your services. This makes me even more upset that it seems you cater or profile people and only helped those that fit your "profile image". This has now been over a year but nevertheless disappointing...☹️ Sincerley,

Kimmie Shofner

I may update this later! But so far the visit seems like its going well. Saphira, my Leo, has been self mutilating off and on much to my ever frequent despair. I brought her in as an emergency, so I've been waiting for a while. They took her back to be examined (at about 11) and I'm still waiting for an update at 1:38. Apparently there's a meeting or something that takes priority? The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the staff is personable and very helpful, but I've been here in the lobby for a very long time while they've had my little bab back there and I have no idea what's going on, or how expensive this is going to be.

From the moment I walked in I was impressed at how clean and friendly the staff were. I've been here a few times already and Petroglyph is very consistent in their willingness to provide great caring service. I would recommend this Vet to any animal lover.

Unfortunately due to the circumstances of my dog being attacked back in April I was forced to bring him here. From the moment I walked through the door to his last breathe he took him my arms, the vets, office staff and techs showed so much support and compassion. I was able to visit him as much as I needed, I called them 100 times with questions, to check on him etc... And never did I get attitude or that feeling I was bugging them. He pasted away 3 days after his attack while I was there visiting him. I was given as much time as I needed with him. They let me say my goodbyes in a private room. They also made a foot print for me and sent it in the mail. As well as sending me beautiful flowers. I truly believe they did everything they could to save my baby but he just couldn't hold on anymore. Fast forward to last week! I finally got another puppy after losing my other one back in April, I had taken the new puppy to Vetco for shots ( bad bad choice) hours after his shots he started limping and wasn't himself. Being paranoid I took him to Petroglyph to get checked out. And once again I received excellent customer service!! I even received a call a few days later to check on the new puppy! Without a doubt this is one of the best places to take your pets.

Nicholas Aragon

All Petroglyph cares about is $$$. Worst customer service I have ever had. I waited in the office for over 45 minutes. When I explained to Dr. Rael that I could not afford the outrageous quote, she offered to preform the procedure without anesthesia which is "very pain full and inhumane" (Rael's exact words). We love our pet and would never subject them to this kind of practice. If you love your pet STAY AWAY FROM PETROGLYPH. They quoted us over $1100 dollars to drain an abscess, anesthesia and suture which is completely not affordable. When we declined they made us feel very uncomfortable and still charged us $81.00 for an "emergency" visit although it was only 4pm and we did not have an appointment we were considered a walk in, so therefor charged us the emergency fee FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We feel the doctor took advantage of us. I wish i would have read all the negative reviews before i walked foot in this place.

I brought my dog in for immediate attention as she was throwing up non-stop. After 1k dollars, they told me to go buy some Robotussin DM from a local store. They never even gave her any of the product to see if that would even help, nor did they give her any treatment to help such as antibiotics. Just sent me home with my dog in worse condition stating that it was viral and should go away in time. I am scarred that my dog didn't get any treatment and that while I wait due to instructions that the tech (that I could hardly understand) told me, could pass. She cannot keep anything down, even water as she throws up instantly. How am I supposed to keep this cough syrup down my dogs throat if she just throws it up? So needless to say, I am out 1k dollars and my dog has not progressed nor has had any treatment but than someone to tell me to get cough syrup which she can't even keep down. *** Follow up. I brought my dog back as the situation got worse from the statement above. Dr. Wilson was great and showed much empathy, confidence, and knowledge for hope that my dog would get good treatment. Unfortunately we had to put her down. I would rate a couple stars higher just for Dr. Wilson and her tech at the time. I believe if treatment was done by Dr. Nash, I think her name was, in the first review, she would still be alive. Again, she left in worse condition with instructions to just go and buy cough syrup when she couldn't even keep anything down. So, another 2,800.00 dollars spent to see my poor dog go when I think it could have been treated in the beginning. For this, I will not change my ratings and will never go back unless I knew Dr. Wilson was helping her.

Our cat was sick with a viral infection and the staff and doctors got her hydrated and gave her meds . Along with doing eberything they could to make her comfotable, going above anx beyond. I would take your animals there anytime . Our furr baby is doing great and is eating . Thank you so much petrogyph animal and a very special thank you from our family to the tech Eric and the vet Sharon Nash.

Veronica is beyond amazing! Dr Esposito was also amazing. We had a doggy emergency and they got me in instantly. They took care of us as if it were on of the their own pups. Will definitely be bringing all of my animals here from now on!

Petroglyph Animal Hospital is the parent hospital of Coronado Animal Hospital, where I usually bring my pets, as it is located in Rio Rancho, where I live. Unfortunately, I had an emergency during Labor Day weekend and Coronado was not set up for an overnight holiday stay. They referred me to Petroglyph. Petroglyph serves the city of Albuquerque. It is packed, and busy. But that didn't lessen the amount of care my feline friend received. Yes, I had to wait. Yes, it takes some time. But this is a large hospital, with multiple vets and technicians. The receptionists treated me kindly. They are open 8am-10pm EVERY DAY! if you come upset that you may have to wait, and yes, sometimes 40-60 minutes, then you may need to find a smaller clinic. But Petroglyph won't treat your pet any less. And for an emergency, or need to be seen late, without paying for emergency clinic hours, Petroglyph will certainly meet those needs.

We we visiting from San Diego, and stopped in with our very sick dog. Employees kept coming by, saying, “getting a room ready”, “be right with you.” “Just one drop-in ahead of you.” Then a hour passed. Then they stopped talking to us at all. We just sat there. Ignored. And we weren’t pushy! As our wait neared 2 hours, we just left. Never saw a doctor’s face. At least be honest, people. They did try to take our dog in the back “for observation”, while we waited. Whatever. I felt they were just trying to keep us in limbo. Shoddy. Very shoddy. (I do get emails from them though...trying to sell me things.)
