I started going to Coronado Pet Hospital with my 1st pet sooo many years ago. I have experienced nothing but the absolute best pet care for all my babies. Carly called me to follow up on a visit to their after-hours partner which is Petroglyph. WOW! They just really care about their patients! In Dec. my little Chihuahua had a major surgery performed by Dr. Brandt. She and Vanessa took such good care of her. Coronado has the most compassionate doctors, and staff. Dr. Brandt said my baby would be like a puppy again after she heals - and she was so right she's doing wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do!

We are new to the area, so when the cat got a severe infection, I had no where to go. We had seen Coronado Pet Hospital from the road, so I gave them a call. What a pleasant surprise! They got us in quickly; everyone was friendly, caring, and professional. The facilities were very clean and the prices very reasonable. Most of all the cat was promptly treated and is on his way to recovery. Thanks.

These people are absolutely wonderful! We are new to the area and Coronado Pet Clinic was recommended to us by a neighbor. Our two cats were fine until the younger one got terribly sick very quickly. The staff at Coronado got me an appointment right away. When my cat, after treatment, did not respond to the usual treatment, and, after bloodwork, it became obvious that she was much sicker than we had thought, they were kind, supportive, thorough and compassionate of their treatment of me, and our dying cat. There was no way to save our Gracie (because they tried valiantly) but they could not have been more wonderful in helping me through that process. I have had lots of pets over the years, and been to lots of vets in a number of states. These folks are truly wonderful.

My wife called last Monday to schedule an appointment to put our 19 year old dog down because of her age and declining health. The girl that answered the phone gave the price info but stated that no appointment was required. We decided that Wednesday would be the best day. My wife called again to confirm price and that we would be in on Wednesday, even though no appointment was required. We showed up Wednesday morning and were told that we did not have an appointment and that they operate strictly on appointments except for emergencies. My wife told the lady working that she had called on Monday and was told we didn’t need an appointment. Second-guessing ourselves, we returned home. My wife had taken notes and found that she had indeed spoken to someone named Monica at the same place and so we called back. The lady on the phone said there was nobody named Monica it working there. What? My wife, being distraught and confused ended the call. I told her that we still needed the service performed and so she called back a 4th time. The lady on the phone said she found out that they had another girl “covering the phone” on Monday and that she gave us bad information. Additionally they were not willing to work with us to have the service performed until the following week. Needless to say, we sought out a professional clinic in Albuquerque that could accommodate us later that day. Rest In Peace “Lucky”.

We looked around at different vet offices in the area and settled on this one. All things considered, we believe we made a great choice. They are conveniently located, their hours are great for us, and their staff is professional, caring and courteous. I highly recommend them.

Carly... one person has helped more than any other in the entire time I’ve been coming here. She’s usually the one who answers the phone, she knows your pet, and she’s going to work tirelessly to help you track down that impossible to find medication, and will help you in any way she can. The Drs here are all awesome, a caring environment with a late night sister clinic if you need emergency care.

The downward position of business posture ignites the ethical inquisition? FACT: No overnight patient care (Watchmen). 1) Doctor V says, "There is a better protocol of treatment." 2) Spent the same amount of $700 for additional treatment, not to exceed the initial quote of approx., $1,300 3) The negotiation of the initial quote by half is, and was the concern because this would have been the total of $700, instead. According to V, sorry we were not open for business for this ER situation. Could there have been a better direction of treatment to which to not take advantage? I have paper proof. Although waiting for commercial voting block. Therefore, Doctor you went against the usually prescribed medication list. I want my monies owed to me! I hope Barbara (Board Head) reads this! The involuntary action of law enforcement was from of conduct not becoming a doctor by taking the lower end instead of the higher road of decision making abilities. You got it half correct doctor.
