Been using Doc since day one. Won't use anyone else! He is by far the most caring individual I know. His staff,bar none is the best! I recommend them highly.

Dr Hayes is not a nice man. He is very passive aggressive and does not have people skills. He comes across as very aggressive in a passive sort of way which is worse than someone who is just plain aggressive. They are also price gougers that will quote you one price and then after a procedure is done they will double the amount they told you it would be. I avoid this clinic and this doctor if at all possible. Life is too short to deal with a person like this.You can read other reviews and see I am not the only person who has this opinion of Dr Hayes.

Caused a distemper outbreak. when presented with autopsy they continued adopting out dogs so they could get the adoption fees out of them before they died. The facility is always filthy, office staff is very rude. Their "rescue" animals aren't in much better shape.

Nepotism at its worst? Price GOUGERS! The woman receptionist was so discourteous, abrupt and offhand that I actually complained to the Vet. He stated that she had to deal with so many rude customers that how could I blame her? Basically he was telling me I was being rude and that the way I was treated was my fault! I walked in the clinic in a happy frame of mind which THEN turned stormy after having to deal with his awful receptionist. Later I found out she is probably the vets RELATIVE. So, nothing will ever be done about her terrible attitude. I went in for my cats booster shots and to check his ears which were bothering him. The vet assistant was great, and the vet competently handled my older irascible cat. I was expecting a bill around $100. The receptionist (his relative that I had complained about) handed me a bill for $190!!! This for an ear check and vaccines. The vet is probably competent, but the fact that he puts up with his relative's terrible attitude is unallowable. His assistant was nice and knew her job. In my opinion, I would avoid this clinic like the plague. The nepotism and overall price gouging at this place will make it worth your while to seek a better place to take your furry family member!!!

Gambit was very scared to go to the vet, however the entire staff was very professional. I didn’t catch the name of the individual who was helping the doctor out, but he was the only one who gained Gambit’s trust.

I like and trust the vet. The front office staff seems short-handed, as every time I visit it seems I need to wait 15 to 20 minutes to pay the bill and be on my way. I used another vet for several years- he was great and the staff very good and quick. But, Button Brand works hard for the homeless dogs and cats- something the other vet did not appear to be interested in. I appreciate Button Brand's willingness to help the homeless.

On June 12th I took my pure bred German Shepard into your establishment. I had called previously to get the set price for a booster parvo immunization shot during pregnancy. I was told over the phone that it would be $17.50. When we got there the receptionists where very rude and clearly couldn't care less to have our buisness. I carried the dog, worried about the unsanitary conditions. The place reeked, the ground was filthy and animals barking in cages against the wall made it impossible to carry a conversation with the receptionist. We ordered a booster shot and were brought into a back room, where I then had to wipe down the smudge covered metal counter in the exam room. When Dr. Hayes came in we listed our concerns, regarding parvo and her pregnancy. He stated that our dog was indeed not pregnant and was simply displaying the signs of a false pregnancy, he said he would be absolutely surprised if she really was. He stated that he was going to go ahead and administer the booster shot as we requested which was a combination of rabies and parvo vaccinations. He then asked if we had dewormed her recently. I stated that I had, about three months ago. He carried on to say he did not believe in over-deworming. When we asked the cost he said about $10. So we figured, why not? When we got to the counter to check out the receptionist asked for around $70. We were expecting $17.50+$10, so around $30. She then stated the rabies shots and the parvo shots were seperate and $17.50 each. She also quoted the dewormer for $30, and when we explain that the Doctor had said it was $10 she said well it's $10 a tab and she needs three tabs for her weight so it's $30. I've read several other reviews since then that say that Button Brand Clinic often gouges customers at checkout. It is simply unacceptable to treat your customers in this manner. It is now 12 days later and my dog has given birth to 8 puppies. I doubt that a mere 12 days can make that much of a difference, we felt the puppies moving inside of her several days before the visit, and even informed the Doctor of that. I had done extensive research on breeding, selecting a male, mating, heat cycles, ovulation cycles and how to check for pregnancy symptoms, however Dr. Hayes insisted that he knew best and she for sure was not pregnant. Based on this visit, I have come to the conclusion that your establishment is a mess, the receptionists lack the proper personality to work with actual himans and the head Doctor could definitely use a refresher course it seems. We will not be visiting this veterinary clinic again and will be sure to tell our friends and family the FACTS concerning this visit.

My family and I have been going to Dr.Hayes for 20 years with all our animal needs - goats to cats, horses to dogs... he continues to be knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable & caring. I absolutely recommend Button Brand to anyone & everyone!

we had a dingo 7 year old had got in poison cynide ,.. we noticed about midnight he was laying in yard.. we called marvin he said he would meet at clinic,,,he did iv s and kept him he stayed til 2 am with wally (dog) and we asked him if we are waiting for him to die. marvin said no we are waiting for him to live,,..wally lived many more years. thank,you and the crew. that was beyond duty. . . .

We been with Dr. Hays pretty much since we moved here in 2001. We always been treated good and had good service. And just recently he took such good care of our Boy Rocky. We really appreciate your compassion for our Pets. There are our Kids and very, very important to us.

Pros and Cons. Doc is very friendly and knowledgeable. He actually cares about my animals and will even make house calls if needed. The prices are not high like a lot of these reviews say. I was waiting in the lobby and I even noticed a few people came in to make payments, so he is nice enough to offer that. I only give 3 stars for 3 reasons. 1. The smell is really awful. Idk why but it really is hard for me to stomach. 2. The girls at the front are very rude. 3. We always wait a very long time before we're seen, even when we have an appointment. Once two homeless looking people who were walking by came in and asked for a cup of water. The rude girl charged them 50 cents! The water is free in the lobby! I was disgusted with that girl. It was over 100 degrees outside!

I dont trust anyone with my animals except for Dr. Hays. He's always helped my cats get back to health. On top of that with such a busy clinic that button brand is he manages everything well. Which to me is astounding work. Also the staff work with you when it comes to payments no matter the amount and are very friendly. Overall I'd never go to another vet until Dr. Hays decides to retire.

We are so very pleased with everyone at Button Brand Vet Clinic. Excellent customer service, our animals are treated with the utmost care. Dr.Hays really takes the time to listen to our concerns and questions and is an excellent vet! We highly recommend Button Brand for all your animals needs! We have been going to them for years and will continue going there for all our animals needs. We have used them for everything from shots to ear infections to emergency visits, xrays, sugeries....and are pleased with everything.

When my dog's got Polo they were the only ones that took a payment plan and trusting me that I would pay them the doctor really cares about animals versus the other veterinarian clinics in town all they think about is money they don't care if your animals dying if you don't have money they will send you out the door with no remorse that's why I come 2 button because he will work out a payment plan with anybody God bless you

Was an out of town visitor when my dog displayed signs of a intestinal problem. Bunch Brand animal clinic got us in to see the Vet ( Dr. Hays) right away. Dr Hays diagnosed an intestinal obstruction. He stayed after hours to do the surgery to save my dog. The procedure went perfect. I have been involved with showing dogs for 35 years and have dealt with many Vets. Dr Hays ranks at the top of my list. He took the time to discuss my dogs situation and made us very comfortablewith his knowledge and experience. Would highly recomend this clinic.

Have been taking my Britney to Dr. Hays for over a year and I have been extremely satisfied with the care Brandy has received. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. The building, inside and out have always been well cared for and clean. I appreciate the record of shots she has had and those coming due, on the bottom of my statement after each visit. Horrible service i took my cat because something was wrong with its leg it was an infection the said they'd clean it but when I got it the next day they cut a giant whole stitched up just to find another tiny whole oozing bacteria witch they could oviecly see if they shaved it

You don’t give a rabies shot to a 17 year old dog it killed my dog. what about your code of ethics it states on the rabies vaccine to only give to healthy pets a 17 year old dog is not healthy. Shame on you!!! I really don’t know how you can sleep at night.

Dr Hays and his staff are caring and knowledgeable. They also work to get your pet seen when it isn't feeling well. I appreciate their willingness to work through lunch and late hours to make sure my pet got the attention she needed. My cat's leg had to be amputated after getting neutered there at 6 months as a kitten. Dr Hays tried to blame it on us, saying the cat must've experienced trauma at home... which was a lie because the cat came home from his routine surgery without leg function, and we brought him straight back (less than 24 hrs after surgery) when it became obvious that the leg wasn't regaining function as the meds wore off. We got a second opinion from another vet, who said it was nerve damage from the surgery. Dr Hays then agreed with the other vet, and he lied and said that he told us it was nerve damage from the beginning. We lost all trust in Dr Hays after the botched surgery and the lying. We went elsewhere for the amputation and now our kitten (who is now an adult cat) will have to be on meds for the rest of his life.

Dr.Hayes is excellent...I found a lump in my dogs neck, that appeared to come up over night, took my dog to the Arc, where I had him chipped, and they wouldn't see him made me make an appointment for a week later, I was scared to death, took him that same day to Buttonbrand and Dr. Hayes got me back quick and checked him throughly , assuring me that it was just scar tissue from him playing with my other dogs, told me if it got any bigger to bring him in immediately, Dr.Hayes was right several days later it had shrunk down to nothing...

my dog broke his leg and we took him in after hours to get him seen for emergency and they took him back gave him a shot for pain and took him back to where they keep the animals and it took them 3 days to do the surgery on him and the total was around 3,000 dollars but they were kind and understanding of the situation and they have payment plans for the different prices of the visit i do recommend this place but be weary of the prices and time if your animal is very injured.

Dr. HAYES came out to my house to look at my horse because the brand inspector was called saying my horse is skinny not being fed but we feed her twice a day sometimes 3 and she 27 1/2 shes old and is ready to retire and he agreed with me and my dad so yes id use him again.

I went to have my dog vaccinated here. I was expecting a bill for 50 bucks or so, as I only needed vaccinations. Well, it turns out after your dog is over a year old they only need rabies and distemper every 3 years. I told him he was vaccinated a year ago, yet they went ahead and gave him all these again. They also added a Exam/Consult fee which I didn't ask for, and charged almost $100 for sentinel spectrum tablets (much cheaper alternatives exist). Long story short, my dog didn't even need the vaccines and I wound up paying almost $300 for a visit that should have been less than $30. If you are going to go here make sure you get the price of everything they do beforehand, otherwise avoid at all costs.
