We were traveling from NC and had my dog picked up a parasite along the way. I was worried but the vet assured me he was going to be ok. She administered a shot and prescribed meds for him to take. She was extremely polite and fun to speak with. She answered all our questions before we left.

We have used doc allred for many years and we love him. He gives all he has to save animals. If you have an emergency, no matter what time it is, he will be there waiting for you. His staff can be rude at times.

My horse coliced when horse camping in the Gila. Dr. Allard knew exactly what it was (an impaction) and stayed up the whole night pumping stomach acid out, oil and fluids in. He was honest and straight forward with diagnostics and suggestions which I really appreciated. One of the best vets I've ever been to. He saved my horse.

I had to take my dog on a Sunday morning at 5am the Doctor was there when I arrived. He saw my dog right away. He gave me medicine to last til I could get to my vet. When I asked what I owe. He said nothing was due. I was amazed.

I went to college in Silver City New Mexico I took my animals to dr. Allarid when I was there. Let me tell you I live in Truth or Consequences now which is where I'm from I still take all my animals to that clinic when they are sick. Is well worth the cost they are not constantly trying to jab you for money it take wonderful care of your animals. In addition to that he won't hesitate to keep the animal overnight to observe it they are compassionate they are kind and they are good. I cannot say enough good things about them

FRIDAY MARCH 1, MY BABY LITTLE DARLING HAD GOTTEN OUT AND I WAS OUT RUNNING ERANDS. SHE HAD GOTTEN HIT BY A CAR AND A KIND MAN SEEN HER GET HIT AND TOOK HER TO THE CLINIC. I WENT TO THE CLINIC WAS GREATED BY FRIENDLY AND THEY WHERE VERY SENSITIVE TO MY SITUATION. THEY HAD TAKEN WONDERFUL CARE OF MY BABY OVER THE WEEKEND. SHE HAD A BROKEN FRONT RIGHT LEG AND WAS SCARED. THEY PUT A CAST ON HER AND WAS ABLE TO BRING HER HOME. TO THE ENTIRE STAFF THANK YOU FOR TAKING SUCH WONDERFUL CARE OF MY LITTLE DARLING.

Sadly, despite their amazing, caring, gentle & tireless efforts my big guy passed away the next day & the team @ Arenas Valley Animal Clinic were all extremely considerate, kind, caring & sympathetic to mine & my children's heartbreaking loss. Dr. Allred is without a doubt the BEST Vet we've been to. He's in the Silver City area. Went to another Vet and he didn't even check our dog and said it is just allergies. Dr. Allred was on call that weekend so we took our little dog to him. After checking she had an infection. He gave her an antibiotic which helped but didn't cure her. 10 days later he then took an X-ray and found she had an infection in her lungs. A stronger antibiotic did the trick.
