This Veterinarian belongs to the category of Animal hospital.
We love Dr. Hatch, he is very personable and a great diagnostician. He is conservative about testing and mindful of budget. His staff is good, friendly enough and welcoming. I like that he has coffee and candy to make the wait that much better.
All about money go to hoboken animal hospital half the prices
I gave my last visit 4 stars because the front desk service was terrible. The vet and the assistant were awesome. Walked in with my sick Maltese... I said hello... two people sitting behind the desk. The guy responded but the female never looked up from her apparently very important literature to say “hi”. Now ready to check out... my husband is standing at the desk... phone rings while he is waiting.. female runs to answer the phone and sits at her desk and has a conversation ignoring my husband. A simple “ someone will be with you shortly “ would suffice... or place the person on the phone on hold and deal with the person in front of you. Sad to say but someone needs to teach her the basics on human interaction.
Very Caring
Doctor was very nice and they always take good care of our dog
Friendly staff. Awesome doctors. Our dog loves going to the vet!
Excellent veterinary care
Dr. Hatch is knowledgeable caring
This is a very good animal hospital, run by Dr. Hatch. He is absolutely one of the most professional compassionate veterinarians that I have ever met. He knows this field well and has kept up to date with current trends.
Absolutely love this hospital they are the most caring wonderful people the front desk women make you feel at home thank you so much for taking care of my dog.
Excellent doctors and staff, they really care about your pets. They leave no stone unturned in helping your pet.
Love the entire staff ! After 17 years with my “freshie” kitty cat I as new to this town was so impressed with the genuine <3 felt love with my ailing kitty ! ! I since have adopted a rescue dog golden retriever , which I have learned has multiple health issues ! His animal Hospitol has gone above and beyond to help me with my dog “fiery, furry, love of my life “ ! They literally care deeply for our furry babies with genuine compassion!
Dr hatch is amazing
Dr. Schwartz is wonderfully compassionate. My cat was very sick and elderly and had to be put down recently. Dr Schwartz and the staff were all extremely helpful, kind and sympathetic. I am very pleased with how tenderly Kashmir was treated on both her visits. Thank you all.
Very thorough doctor and great bedside manner.
Our cats are part of our family and we have trusted Secaucus Animal Hospital with their care for nearly ten years. They are the best and we recommend them to everyone we know in the area (assuming they have a car -- public transit isn't easy for the location).
Wonderful animal hospital. Dr. Hatch was the best!!!
Dr. Lee was great. Even though our pup is not people friendly and a little difficult.
Excellent all around. Dr. Hatch and his team, from the vets down to the front desk, try hard to treat your fur babies like their own. Kindness and professionalism all around.
I brought my 2.5yr old English bulldog Curtis in this morning with hives over his whole body from eating raw hide. The staff was great and informative. They quickly firgired our he was allergic and gave him a steroid. 8 hrs later his skin is 90% cleared up. I’m planning on transferring him from Englewood after this great experience.
I took my 11 year old yorkie Lala to have dental surgery. Dr. Hatch did an outstanding job in removing Lala's bad teeth. After surgery the staff gave directions for aftercare as well. Lala is back to 100% and Dr. Hatch deserves the highest marks. Very professional, empathetic, treated Lala as if his own. He also followed up after the surgery and spoke with myself for an hour late Friday. Shows this is more than just a job for Dr. Hatch but his passion. If you are looking for the complete package in your vet. Dr. Hatch should be at the top of your list. Hearing horror stories of bad veterinarian experiences its reassuring to know there are still very skilled and caring vets like Dr. Hatch.
Great Doctors
The worst service ever.. I called and she hung up the phone.. rude service..
Great care
Everyone was kind from the reception to the doctor. There was sufficient parking. The wait was not very long.
Love Doctor Hatch, he is very loving to our dogs and knowledgeable to find the right solution for them. Other staff are really nice and helpful as well.
Our cat was suffering from kidney failure and our normal vet was closed on the day we knew we would have to put her down. Even though we had never visited this office before, the staff and doctor who helped us were incredibly comforting and sympathetic and did everything they could to help us through the difficult process of saying goodbye to our pet. I don’t know if we would have had the same experience at our regular vet. I plan on returning for our other pet’s health needs.
Dr. Hatch is by far the best! They can usually get you in quickly and the price is decent for a vet.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. All the vet techs are great people, Bieber they are all tiny humans abd not well sorted gor large, or extra large dogs.
Thank u all for being there for not only Steven my cat but me Michelle bed I wouldn't wht to do wth .bec if it wasn't for her saving her life.. Thank u so much MICHELLE ROMANO
They are so wonderful with your fur babies. The best veterinarian's around hands down.
On our very first visit we took our beloved Puggie to this hospital for his euthanasia and they where very respectful of our pain and always demonstrated true interest on how we felt. It was one of the hardest things we have ever done and they made it a little easier for us, they even suggested to send us the bill on the mail if we didn't feel like spending more time at the hospital.
Absolutely love this place. Everyone who works there is very caring and thorough. It is very clean and I've always had a great experience.
My vet told me to come here quickly after her did blood test with negative results on liver and pancreas. Also did pancreas test and that was positive. I drove here quick to just get nothing from them, answer I got was they were closing soon. Worst place!!! Good thing they are animal lovers..
After moving to Jersey City in 2017, we received a recommendation to take our dogs to the Secaucus Animal Hospital for their veterinarian needs. The clinic is very clean and efficient with lovely staff and superb vets who really care about their patients - and their owners. Both Dr Hatch and Dr Hansen have provided excellent care to both our dogs (one old, one young) including quick informative follow ups, post visit. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Secaucus Animal Hospital to any pet owner in the area looking for a good vet.
Very helpful and friendly. Gladly make the drive from Hoboken for this vet.
We took our cat Charlie here when he started seeming very down and out. We were given an appointment within an hour of calling, saying it was an emergency, and were seen by Dr. Karecky. We were there for a few hours, and were allowed to stay in a room the whole time while tests were taken to see what was going on. Our cat seemed to have developed kidney disease, and was severely dehydrated. We had him admitted for three nights, without incident, so he could be on IV fluids. He has since bounced back and has a treatment plans with follow up visits. We are so very happy to have taken Charlie to Secaucus Animal Hospital. They were very caring and understanding, answering questions multiple times and were very patient. Charlie was in good hands, with the vet assistants, Dr. Karecky, Dr. Hatch, and the front staff. All costs were laid out clearly and itemized. Treatment and reasons for recommended treatment were clear, and repeated if asked. Options for alternate treatments and costs were given. Highly recommended. Worth the drive from Jersey City!
Staff is great helpful and friendly. And they always provide the upmost care for your animals
Best Vet in the world!
Dr. Hatch and his team treat Ruby the poodle like a member of their family. They are patient, focused, loving, and very accurate with their diagnoses. I highly recommend their team for all procedures including routine checkups and more sophisticated procedures (like teeth cleanings).
Amazing staff. My dog actually jumps out of the car to go inside and see everyone.
I take both of my cats here. One is prone to UTIs and they have been great with her. They try to work with me on schedule and ways to prevent future problems. Everyone that works there seems to really care about the animals and their comfort level. They take their time to assertain the problem and thoroughly explain the issue and courses of action. I highly recommend them!
I have four pets, two cats and two dogs, who all go to Secaucus Animal Hospital. Evertime we have gone, our experience has been wonderful! The staff and techs are kind and helpful, while the vets are a great source of knowledge and help with all of our pet's health concerns. Thank you for doing a great job, keep it up!
The Secaucus Animal Hospital is a great place. It also has the added benefit of being the closest veterinarian to my house, so its a double win. Its not the least expensive but I don't mind paying more for good service. I'd rather not penny pinch when it comes to my pet's well being anyways.
treated my dog with respect and never had any problems
I think it's ridiculous that I have a rescue cat from Clifton animal hospital that needs its nails cut I don't feel like driving all the way out to Clifton animal hospital so I called today to see if I can have the nails cut and I'm being told I have to get charged an office visit first these vets just love to pull money out of people's pockets that can't afford I'm just so angry right now never going back to this place again BTW I HAVE ALL MEDICAL PAPERS FROM CLIFTON VET AND I JUST GOT MY BABY GIRL A MONTH AGO UNREAL
They are the best vet by a long shot.
Great place very friendly very reliable but very expensive
Fantastic service by the doctors there, they really care about your pets
Everyone there very nice
Dr. Hatch was great, the facility is lovely.
Dr Drury is a wonderful and very compassionate vet. She saved my cat. I can't thank her enough. Very good hospital, all staff is kind and everything is clean.
Took my 100lb Rottweiler for his yearly check up. They tranquilized him in order to compete the exam. The doctor was unsure of the correct dose and gave him double the amount (that he was supposed to get.) This nearly poisoned the poor dog. Several days of other doctor visits and an upset stomach. Would not recommend
Dr. Hatch and Dr. Danforth are amazing! They take their time to discuss the best course of treatments before rushing to do anything unnecessary, which can be costly and traumatizing for everyone. They take time to educate you also. They are incredibly caring and really show their love and concern for your pets. I took my new kitten there on recommendations from my sister, who takes her pets there, and I'm taking my older cat there now too. The office staff and techs are equally caring, friendly, and skilled. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'll never take my pets anywhere else and will make the half hour drive because it's truly worth it.
Hello, my 12 year old beagle Gracie needed tobe eauthanized and creamated as I wanted the ashes the same day. I google same day cremations and came across Seacaucus animal hospital and they were able to accomadate me in the early morning. I arrived with my son and dog and was greeted by a wonderful caring receptionist, she had a room ready for my beloved pet and after weighing my beagle I was directed into a private room where I can spend sometime with my Gracie, a very nice young lady who is a vet tech knocked gently on the door and asked if she can come in and I said yes"....she kindly spoke softly and asked if we needed anything water, tissues and more time which was wonderful and very appreciated. Soon there after Dr Hatch came inside and greeted us with such compassion while comforting my Gracie. Dr Hatch sat down on the floor with us and explained the procedure of a intervnous sedative which will put my Gracie into a deep sleep and that it will take several minutes to take affect then I can spend more time with my Gracie before euthanization. Dr Hatch and his vet tech stood with us throughout the whole process and comforted us. The experience compassion and dedication of Dr Hatch and his staff made this journey for my son and I much easier than I thought.I commend and thank you all at Secaucus animal hospital.
My dog woke up limping. Came here for the first time with my pet since my usual vet was all booked up and this place is awesome!! The dr was amazing and the front desk staff was really friendly. Thank you guys for treating my dog so great!!
Staff very friendly
My cat was I'll and I called and got her in same day. Everyone seems to really care about animals and they diagnose and treat in a timely manner. Love them!
Very helpful
Great staff. Great experience.
I cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Hanson and her assistant for the level of care they give my Randy and Rosie!! As an added bonus we laugh and have a great time visiting for they wellness check up .
Dr. Hatch and the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable. He helped my dog with his current condition, eased my mind about future problems, and gave me insight on my dog's breed to help keep him healthy. This was my first visit and I felt as welcome and relaxed as a regular customer/patient. This will be my vet for as long as live in the area. Thanks Dr. Hatch.
Dr. Hatch is a very talented Vet with a great bedside manner. A few months ago he had the displeasure of telling our family our 9 year old Dane had cancer and it was going to spread. He laid out all the cards and told us that she was not in pain and did not know she had cancer and to call him when she quit eating or feeling pain. This week both no appetite and pain started to set. I also noticed during a bath large tumors that developed in the lower stomach and between the hind legs. I called Dr. Hatch's office for an appointment. Dr. Hatch knew why I was calling and the end for our Dane Cate was near. He told his staff to have us come in at 5:10. Dr. Hatch walked in the office and ensured us what a great job we did with our Dane. He told us she was in pain and there was no turning back. Our family has absolute confidence in Dr. Hatch and his staff. Cate was put to sleep while being held in our arms. It was so quick and painless. Dr. Hatch has the ability to cure animals and the courage to put them to sleep if there is pain and no hope. Dr. Hatch, his staff and facility are all first class. Your animal will have the best of care. Thank you, -MArtin Giroux
The compassion and love that is shown to every animal I have brought here is above and beyond. Vet's and all staff are the best.
When considering a new Vet for our two 10-year old bichons, I looked to online reviews as one of my resources. Fortunately, I found the most wonderful practice at Secaucus Animal Hospital and now it is time to return the favor. We have been taking our dogs, Spot and Rose, to Secaucus Animal Hospital for approximately two years now and in that time they have had regular check-ups, unscheduled visits, emergency visits, boarding and surgery, pretty much everything. We could not be more pleased with Dr. Hatch and the entire practice at Secaucus Animal Hospital. It is conveniently located, has parking, great hours and from the first time we entered their beautiful and clean facility I knew we were on the right track. Then we met Dr. Hatch, Dr. Danforth, the Vet Techs and Staff, and each and everyone has been genuinely caring, knowledgeable and professional. Now to the point of this review, Dr. Hatch, on his day off, and with the assistance of Dr. Danforth, Dr. Brown and the entire Secaucus Animal Hospital village saved our dog's life by removing a 3.5-pound mass, along with her spleen. From the moment we saw Dr. Danforth for the initial consultation to when Dr. Hatch removed her stitches two weeks later, everything was handled with the upmost care and concern for us as well as our pet. We were given detailed information to assist us in making an informed decision, followed up with a lot of support. In our last visit I told Dr. Hatch that even if Rosie had not survived the surgery, I could not have been more grateful for everything everyone had done, and I meant it. But she did make it (and so did we ;) So, if you are considering veterinarians, and if you are reading this you probably are, I would encourage you to make an appointment for a check-up. If your experience is anything like ours, you will be hooked.
i went without any appointment. My dog wasn´t feeling good. Although they were booked, they let me get in. It was quick and very friendly staff. Loved it!
Very helpful .especially when I needed certain medicine for my dog...very friendly..very clean
Dr. Hanson is the best!
Love all the doctors here. Best pet care around.
Dr. Hatch is the best! If you can see him then definitely worth it. Little to no wait time and you can always get an appointment the day you need/want it. Everyone in the office is an animal lover which is an absolute bonus.
I dive about 45 mins to this vet and it’s 100% worth it. They are the best around and I am glad I found them. Thank you again for all you do for my dog Zoey.
Its was great always...thank you holly for your help.everyone was pleasant.
Always professional and spot on with helping your animal. Staff is always polite.
Very thorough and caring. Wonderful vets!
I have been working with this Animal hospital for a few weeks now. They have been more than willing to work work me and the cats that I rescue. I have seen nothing but pure compassion and attention to detail from this place. I highly recommend any person to take their animal here. You can see the love in the doctors' eyes... they look at every animal like it was their own and will go to any extent to make sure it is well off. Please Please bring your babies to Secaucus Animal Hospital!!- Alicia
Vets have great bedside personalities.
Always short wait.excellent service
Dr. Hatch is fantastic. He cares about the animals and very helpful when explaining options for care of my dogs. He makes sure to answer all my questions and does not rush the appointment. He also takes time out of his busy day to return calls whenever I have questions or concerns. The staff there is pleasant and always able to find a time for my appointment when needed.
The best vets anywhere. They really care about the animals they treat.
Excellent service
Really liked the vet she was down earth and very easy to talk to. She performed a thorough exam and was very caring towards my pet.
I don't know how I'd bring a pet some where else. Helped us through two rough situations with two senior dogs and were completely honest and straight forward about everything. Couldn't imagine anyone handling the situation better. Been to a few different vets over the years never did I feel my dog or cat was in better hands.
Doctor said our dog would be fine. 48 hrs later he's dead.
Can't even say enough about them! Dr. Hatch is top notch! I love Dr. Schwartz too! So compassionate and knowledgeable. I haven't seen any other docs yet but my family has and they said they are wonderful, too. They are local to me, great hours, fair prices, clean facility...just love them! I have had cats my entire life and have lived in different towns- therefore visiting different vets depending where I lived at the time. Secaucus Animal Hospital is by far my favorite
The staff and doctors are really nice and make your pets feel safe and at home. I highly recommend them.
Always kind to my pet
My pets aren't a big fan of going to the vet, but they're in good hands at the Secaucus Animal Hospital. The doctors and vet techs do a great job.
Never had a bad experience. The staff is kind and caring. They have always treated my pets with great care and patience.
The best thing they can do is have vets there 24/7/365 this way it will be a real hospital for animals. Other wise they are caring wonderful people.
Nice place and a very nice doctor can't complain.
Taking my pets to Dr Hatchs office for 20 years, they are amazing!
the worst hospital ever! dont even waiste your time or money.go to east rutherford nj
They treat our dogs here wonderful. It is a clean and beautiful facility.
Only think to say is fantastic Doctor's
Without question the best veterinary hospital in the area. Dr. Hatch truly loves the dogs and cats that he tends to and I would bring my dog nowhere else but there.
Always compassionate. Best service from the receptionist to the doctor abd techs.
I love them!!! They won't try to rack up your bill. The staff is kind and efficient, I would trust any of my cats with them.
Amazing staff and caring doctors. We had to put a cat down bc of severe cancer. And they did everything possible to help her. They were so wonderful and caring when the time came to say goodbye. They take care such good care of our two other cats. Best vet I've even been.
Doctor and techs were friendly and nice to my cat.
This is THE BEST place to bring your pets. The staff is extremely friendly and loving. Super clean and organized. They saved my cat Raven's life and are spot on every time with diagnostics. I don't know about the experience that the previous reviewers had, but when Raven was poisoned I called from around the corner and the doctor quickly came to the door and snatched her from my arms and took her to the back. I had never been there before and It was like 6:00 in the afternoon. Even though they are not a 24 hours care center, Raven was to weak to move and one of the staff members volunteered to stay with her overnight. Now tell me that's no animal lovers...I just took my dog Bella too, she had an infection and needed surgery. I explained the doctor I didn't have the money for the surgery and the doctor gave me alternatives for treatments that wouldn't hurt my pocket too much.
The entire staff is truly amazing! You honestly feel like you're at home with family, they're just completely kind-hearted loving people.
We got our two kittens from there, they are very cute. They were already fixed and with shots, so we payed one price that save us time and money to do it ourselves.
They love animals. It shows in their care of my pets, too.
Fantastic staff very attentive!!
Talk about caring about pets...had an emergency with my dog who's a regular here. They wouldn't see him because they're "not a walk in". Great to know that when you're in a desperate need of your vet, you can't have him checked out or have them even clean the wound. Never coming back.
I have been going here for 4+ years. They are little pricey, but totally worth it! They have the biggest passion for animals and it shows in the way they treat their patients.
Very attentive and helpful staff. Clean and welcoming location and easy to get to!
Knowing that finding a good vet can seem like a lottery and be very stressful - I feel compelled to write my first every google review. Today I'm not sure what brought more relief, getting our dog treated or finally finding a vet that I feel we can trust and return to. I can vouch for the other glowing reviews for this practice, its staff, and Dr. Hatch. Now thankfully only our dog has to dread going to the vets, I no longer have to. I would highly recommend this place.
I brought my friend here to get her cats rabies shot updated. They got her right away even though we were early. The vet seemed very good. I will consider switching to this vet from the one I go to now.
