I don't understand the bad reviews. I've been taking my dog for 6 months and they've been thorough, attentive and caring. She's been in for everything ranging from standard vaccine updates to removal and treatment for a malignant tumor. They routinely call to check on her condition and didn't charge us when we stopped in without an appointment to have them take a look at the wound. My pup doesn't have any anxiety when we go and gets genuinely excited to interact with the front desk staff and vets/vet techs.
Great location in Hoboken not in a very busy area. Vets are very nice people. Prices are reasonable.
The worst and I mean THE worst customer service. Doctors and nurses are awesome, the women at the front just mean and overworked obviously since they can’t seem to treat anyone with basic kindness and respect. The young black woman was very nice always has been but the two old women, one of them is a manager apparently are both the rudest most inattentive clerks I’ve ever met, both times I got all types of attitude for simple questions. Not to mention they don’t even know their prices. Was informed a rabies shot would only cost 66, but in reality it was the doctors visit for 66, and then 42 for the rabies shot. But the vet only weighed my cat and that costs 66 ? If you could take your furry one elsewhere. I’d suggest to do so
My cat had emergent urine block issue and was hospitalized by them for 3 days. All the people there are very professional, friendly and patient. I can visit my cat at any time I want as long as the hospital is open. Special thanks to Dr. Doyle!
All staff very friendly...great customer service and my cat Max loves it
Friendly staff and friendly doctors and very professional. They spayed my pup and all went as planned. The doctors are even available till 10:00 pm to help with questions or complications. They’re pricing is also more competitive than many other vets.
We took our cat for control after she was vomiting for a week. They did tests and told that she has no problems and we just need to change her food and give some medicine. They sold us expensive foods and 2 medicines. We paid almost $500. Literally 3 days later our cat collapsed in front of her litter box. We took her to hospital again immediately and they told us she have stomach cancer and needs to be put on sleep. While we were having our last moments with out cat they entered to room to ask another $500.
I love this place and trust the staff with my dog. My biggest complaint is that the communication is not always the greatest. Other than that they do a fantastic job.
Very good care from compassionate Doctors but they overbook constantly, so you can wait up to 2 hours after your appointment to be seen. Also, if you go, make your appointment early, because as soon as the other stores open, there will be no parking available on the street.
Great service. The team at the hospital was very helpful with my questions about taking my pet on an international trip. Also they did very thought check up and a follow up. I will highly recommend it.
This is a terrible animal hospital. The staff is extremely combative and rude, which could be excusable if they weren't so sloppy too. We took our puppy there for her shots and spaying. She came back to us with a horrible spay job (a giant gash, red and inflamed) and got an infection. The doctor prescribed additional medication ($70), which turned out to be the same meds we had from her initial visit. My husband got into an argument with the staff over this and refused to pay the bill. We won't ever be back. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for animal care.
Nice place caring. Adoptions too
I got my kitten spayed here with a friends of animals certificate, they let you know everything you need to know beforehand. Everything went smoothly. I am really grateful they are one of the few places that accept the certificate. Thank you for your service.
Took my pup for the first time to Hoboken Animal hospital. The staff at front desk are very friendly and courteous. The doctors are always there to answer your questions.
I am only giving them two stars because the actual veterinarians are excellent. Every time I’ve been there, they have identified what was wrong with my animals. However, the front desk people are completely unprofessional. I have been there a total of 10 times. Each time I am told to wait because they are busy and that is not a problem. During my wait though, I see that they are playing games on their phones and chatting to each other. When I would go to the counter again and talk to them, they would roll their eyes and begrudgingly begin helping me. This has been a recurring theme for all my visits. If you’re looking for immediate help from good veterinarians this place is not bad. However, if this is not an emergency I would avoid it. Extremely rude and unprofessional front desk stuff are really bringing this place down. Recommending replacing them since the quality of the veterinarians are excellent, especially with how much they seem to care about animals. I’ve brought in 6 cats/kittens and they have helped me with whatever problem I had.
I didn't use the Veterinary service but after the experience with the groomer I wouldn't use it anyway. Horrible experience. I don't know who the groomer thinks she is. If I didn't need my puppy groom for today, I would leave when they took first a customer that get there 5 min after than me. I actually should leave when the arrogant lady was cancelling the appointment when I was expressing my feelings about what happened with the other customer. I asked for a traditional pomeranian look, after told her that I was not expecting that my pup looked for a show because she is only 5 months months. She asked me to use Google and search for what I want... I still can not believe it! She suppose to be the expert... That is why I took my pup there! I searched what she demanded, and I told her "if you were taking the puppy to a show how you will groom her" and she said that she did not know... Wow so why she takes appointments for pomeranians and makes me waste my time if she does not know how to groom a pomeranian??? A 5 months old pomeranian!!! They are so bad that I called 15 places before them and all were booked. Only Hoboken grooming salon inside of Hoboken animal hospital has openings for today. I should know better. Shame on my that I didn't pay attention to the reviews. Please do not spend your money and time here. The groomer has a nasty Bedside manner.
Staff is great! Helped us trough the process of taking our dog out of the country, health certificate and USDA. Thanks a lot!
Poor diagnosis!
They are really nice and care a lot about Animals good place to take your pet
Horrible, horrible, drawn out and horrible experience. I went in with a Friends of Animals certificate to get my puppy neutered, as Hoboken Animal Hospital is a member of this national program. Even though this national program - which the hospital requested to participate in and legally agreed to abide by - covers "day of post operative care, including post operative pain care" - the hospital charged me $50 for a pain injection, and wouldn't listen to me when I argued that it should be covered under the certificate I had already purchased. Furious, I then contacted the Friends of Animals organization, who then contacted the Hoboken Animal Hospital and faxed to them the agreement they THEMSELVES had signed -- that explicitly states that post-operative pain care is included, and that I should be refunded the $50. BUT it gets better -- after chasing this credit down, the manager had the audacity to tell me that she was giving me this credit "out of courtesy" - not because this pain care is covered in the certificate. The manager still claims that they are not responsible for it. So -- if you plan on going here, watch out for this, because they WILL try to rip you off. Read the back of your certificate, print out the agreement that the hospital signed when they joined the program -- and call Paula at Friends of Animals and explain. UPDATE - my puppy has developed an urinary tract infection from the antibiotics Dr. Rich urged us to take home with us after neutering. 2 weeks later -- before he has even had his stitches out -- Dr. Rich refuse to treat him without charging an additional $47 exam fee, just to simply do take a sample of urine, do a urinalysis and prescribe medication. Not to mention how rude and insulting they were on the phone explaining all of this. Once this is all solved, I will NEVER again be returning here. Ever. And I urge you all to seek a different animal hospital, as well. While it is convenient, you pay -- in more than one ways.
Very attentive staff. Clean bench and room.
I have been visiting Hoboken Animal Hospital for about 30 years. The Doctors have been excellent and the rest of the staff has always been incredibly helpful . They know what they are doing. Over the years, they have seen me through the loss of 7 beloved cats and they have always been sensitive to how hard it is to make this difficult decision. I had to make this decision recently when one of my cats was in really bad shape and they did all they could to help. I highly recommend their services
Great late night emergency care the doctor was very smart and knew exactly what to do. Highly recommended for small dog care and puppys
I also don't understand the bad reviews. I guess experience depends on the Dr. you establish your pet with and there can be some turnover there but Dr. Sprague has been great with my dog and cat. My cat had bladder stones removed (surgery) and my dog has had multiple surgeries included an emergency Splenectomy. Dr. Spraque explained the risks, benefits and provides a very straightforward explanation. They can be a little on the expensive side but remember that you pay for the quality of the Dr. - Especially when it comes to surgery. That is one place you don't want to try to save a few bucks.
I had to take my cat to Hong Kong so I called them on Wednesday asking about USDA certified vet’s availability. They told me to call on Friday and schedule an appointment. I then called on Friday and then they told me no one with the knowledge is available and asked me to call on Monday... I called on Monday and they told me they don’t do Hong Kong... giving 2 stars as at the end they still referred me to another animal hospital. Very frustrated and disappointed. However before all of these, I had taken my cat for rabies titer test. The doctors are very nice and friendly. Just the front desk is very unprofessional.
They are always kind with you and your pet.
I couldn't have asked for better, more compassionate care than Dr Jimenez and all the staff provided for my terminally ill dog. The support and medical advice I received was always top notch. Dr Jimenez in fact caught a condition that other vets had missed. My dog always reacted very warmly to her. I am so grateful for the support and care my did received, right up to end.
The lady who is picking up calls at the desk was very rude, and should understand that customer service is very important when providing quality care. If the front desk is not complying, how can i expect that the rest of my care will not be of the same standards?
!!!STAY AWAY!!!! I brought my 3 year old perfectly healthy cat to get a microchip inserted and for a wellness visit to this vet. I am now down $600 and left with a sick cat. My cat can be feisty , I but have never had any issues with other vets in the past being able to handle him. They had no idea how to handle him and asked me if they can administer his chip/vaccines in the back and I agreed. As I was waiting I could hear him screaming from the waiting room. When they returned him to me in his crate he was shaking and sitting in his own feces. Whatever they did in the back caused him to poop himself. They told me that drowsiness and poor appetite could be a symptom of the vaccines for a day or two. I took him here on Monday. By Thursday my cat was still not eating, was vomiting, had diarrhea, was lethargic and not himself. I immediately took him to another vet in the area that concluded that he had developed pancreatitis which can be induced by extreme stress, or as a result of a traumatic experience. On top of all of this, they told me that the chip would cost $65 and then I would be charged for the wellness visit. My bill came to over $300. I will make it a point to make sure I spread the word about how terrible this vet is and to prevent any other pets from going to this vet.
If you care about your pet, DO NOT COME HERE
Where is the ZERO stars button?? Anybody with a dog/cat please Stay FAR AWAY from this place!! They are the absolute WORST!! For months, they misdiagnosed my dog and were ultimately poisoning him with medication that was not for his condition and ultimately caused his condition to get worse than it already was. After thousands of dollars and no answers, Doctor Rich told me to put my dog down. (And handed me an additional $62 bill for his "expert" opinion). Completely distraught, I went to Oradell Animal Hospital and received a second opinion. He is now on medication for a manageable liver condition and is doing so much better. Thank god for the doctors there. It took them 20 minutes to figure out what Hoboken Animal Hospital couldn't in 4 months! We won't know the extent of the damage Hoboken did, but we're hoping for the best. Places like this should be shut down. Incompetent doctors who only care about the almighty dollar and not about the actual well being of your pet!
The morning started very frustrating taking in my puppy for a neuter not only were the staff very unfriendly they seem to have no compassion for animals. My husband brought my puppy and was greeted in a unprofessional matter by one of the clerks. They demanded for me as a registered owner to be present at the time of the surgery, I have simply asked if my husband can drop him off and I will follow an hour later to do paper work. As I went in, I was immediately greeted by a Nurse who first exclaimed to me that my HUSBAND was a "ladies man" again not only was this infuriating but it was out of conduct. She then babbled more about how nice my husband is and so on. WORD of advice, if you want to pick uo Men please do so at the bar or any other dating sites. UNPROFESSIONAL! I hope the management gets this message.
Extortionists! I brought my puppy there in an emergency situation (broken arm). Costs were $884.15 paid in full before I left their premises. Told to return later in the afternoon to pick up. Soon after I got home, I received a phone call from them stating they couldn't proceed because they found flees on the puppy and couldn't "take the chance" of an outbreak in their office (b.s.), cornered me into another $97.85 for a 3 month supply of Frontline OVER THE PHONE. Final cost of the first visit $982.00. Told me they wanted to see puppy after six weeks to remove cast, but insisted on check ups every two weeks for additional x-rays (more pure b.s.). EVERY TWO WEEKS would have been roughly $225 per visit X 3? You do the math. I refused to go. Spoke to a couple of people I know in the field and they both agreed the price was extremely off. And although a checkup in between the first visit and last visit is considered standard procedure, six weeks for a cast on a puppy is a third too long and dangerous to the animal! And 3 (intermittent visits) is pure greed! In fact, when I showed one of my friend the itemized list, she flipped out over the $95.00 charge for the .01ml shot of telazol, (a medicine that costs $60 for 5ml bottle). Do the math. This place preys on people's emotion and lack of being "in the know" of how vets do what they do and robs us blind. It's not like we're in the middle of the desert, just about EVERYBODY has a pet in Hoboken! My friend's Dr. (boss actually), put two calls into this place to request the records be faxed to his facilities and they ignored his requests. They even called me to get my "authorization" (another b.s. move) and I gave it to them. Still ignored it. How would a Dr. know the name of the animal, know my name and they need to check into it?? So I go back there and insist they only remove the cast, no x-rays. They fired back a refusal to do so unless I agree to x-rays. I said ok, BUT ONLY ONE (+$112.00), they did TWO (che-ching +$52.00). Plus another .01ml of telazol, (CHI-CHING +$95.00). When they presented me the bill it was another $367.00! I refused to pay the additional film since they ignored my request of only one. They said they had to take more money, uh, I mean more x-rays. Then I said they need to work with me on the bill, they said nothing they can do, the price stays. Then I requested a payment plan, they said ok gives us $250.00 now and the balance in 30 days by post dated check. I agreed, paid them $250.00 and upon my return, wrote them a check for $117.00 dated 9/3/13. They ignored the agreement and deposited the check the next day! EXTORTIONISTS!! Don't use them for your animals' care! They don't care about your animal, or you. They just want your money and are full of B.S.!!!
I've been taking my animals here for years. Although there are a few vets I don't like, I still have a choice of very good vets too. I will continue to use them as I have been disappointed with the other vet businesses. Dr. Tudor is a caring vet and the admin staff is the best.
Why is it that the recording says 10 pm and I'm here since 8:50pm and the place is closed...did the hours change? This is the only reason why I didn't put a full 5 stars. Other than this they took very good care of my Toji. Place is a bit expensive charging 49 dollars per visit..well expensive for me since I take him often...
I love and adore this place
I have been taking my cats here for years. The staff is friendly and the the vets have always taken great care of us.
$700 bill for diarrhea that they couldn't tell me what was the cause. They took X-Ray's, blood test, stool test you name it. They basically took advantage of my wife who just wanted our puppy to stop discovering. It's just diarrhea. Still trying to reach the Dr. Do yourself a favor and don't go there.
Amazing staff, and willing to take in walkins
Great doctors, my cats love them
They have really great, flexible hours and their doctors are super warm, clear on the issues, frank about what needed checks are vs. the optional ones and open to further discussion on the phone if needed. I have had great experiences bringing my cats here. The prices are a little high, but worth it for the ease in appointment making and the great service from the doctors, vet techs and staff.
Been bringing my husky here since we moved to the area. Always ready for an appointment. Never have to wait. Very friendly and helpful with many reminders.
We took our 13 year old dog in late one night when he was having trouble walking and breathing. Our regular vet is further away from our house in JC and was not open as late, so we went to Hoboken for the first time. The staff there were very helpful and caring and we are now considering making this vet our primary one. I have called several times with concerns and each time the doctor has called me back promptly and spoke to until all my questions were answered - even once for 25 minutes at 9 pm. The staff is great and the hours are great - we couldn't be happier with the level of service that we and our dog received there.
This place has been in business for approx. 30 yrs. Opening up on 2nd. and Washington St. It has Never been the place to go. When first opening, heard of several animals dying in their care and apparently they have never gotten any better. Not the place to go!!!
Dr. Sprague is the best.
I saw a kitten being hit by a car this morning in front of my house and brought him in immediately to see the vet. The vet was very helpful and recommended to start immediate tratment or perform euthanasia, because the kitty was in a lot of pain and had head concussions I decided I would rather put him out of his misery and decided to put him to sleep. The staff and vet were very helpful and professional and I just want to say God Bless you for helping this little baby kitten. Thank you for your help....
I had an emergency with my 1 year old dog Snickers, and called this Vet for help. After reading these reviews I was scared what I was getting myself into but I decided to give them a try after my wife convinced me reviews mean very little, especially when folks bark mostly about price, excuse the pun. I was never a person to shop by price, especially for a hospital or doctor so I tried it out and found great staff, understanding, compassionate, helpful, empathetic and pleasant folks. I spoke to them with respect and I they treated me lovely in return. Maybe the bad reviews on google are coming from people who think the world owes them something, many Hobokeni's can be like that. Or maybe competition is trying to taint their reputation?? It didn't matter, I gained confidence in the hospital during my first phone call and about 20 seconds into our conversation. They did some tests on my dog Snickers and sent me home with meds, but my dog deteriorated so fast I couldn't get him to eat, drink or take the meds. In fact, his health got so bad over night, you couldn't hold him without making him whimper and cry. He laid motionless on my bed and frightened the crap out of my entire family. I thought he was done. We rushed him back immediately. It turned out, the dog was going through multiple phases of kidney and liver failure, bleeding and neurological symptoms which all proved very painful for the dog. He was in very bad shape. They admitted him for more tests and put the dog on IV, catheters, fluids and antibiotics. He was an inch from death. He spent a few days in their care and the staff allowed me to visit Snickers as much as I wanted, in fact they encouraged it. There were days I sat in the lobby for hours with my pet to help him recover from the depression that was setting in from being away for so long. I even had my family and work colleagues visit the pup, the hospital was very accommodating and the doctors were always available to talk to me when I had questions. Snickers is doing great ... these guys saved my pet. And even if it turned out worse than it did, it wouldn't change how I feel about the Doctor's, techs and admins here. I know down deep inside.... they did their best to save Snickers and they treated me fairly. Donald T
This place is old
I love the receptionists there. So caring and thoughtful. Dr. Doyle is wonderful as well. They are very informative, never pushy. They give you options and prices before you make any decisions. Great place, I trust them completely.
This happened years before but I'm so annoyed because it is the root cause of my baby being in pain and it was done without my permission. The vet assistant was to cut my cats nails and he took the initiative to cut his nails on his feet! Now per another more humane and patient facility, it has caused so many ingrown and painful issues for my baby. I'm so upset and angry. I remember that day vividly. He said it so casually and I was upset then but I'm even more upset now learning what it did. DO NOT TRUST THEM OR GIVE EXPLICIT DETAILS OF WHAT YOU WANT DONE AND WHAT YOU DONT! Garbage place.
I love this place! My family has used their practices since they opened
Very caring Veterinarians! And very caring Pussycat Nurses also!So caring that they have been calling me everyday since my cat was treated there for constipation! A little strange about that part!First twice a day then they narrowed it down to once a day! No heads or tails why they are calling to much! Lindamarie Faliero and such!
Staff was very rude. Was told conflicting information over the phone and then a different story in person. Price for services are robbery. Go outside Hoboken and pay half and enjoy a much better experience.
I had to bring in urgently my old dog twice in the past month. I didn’t visit those vets before.... They took care of my dog immediately, they were very professional, caring and efficient.... Unfortunately, the second time, we had to put him down, but I felt they did everything they could and gave him the best care possible considering his age of 13.5. The whole staff was great and empathetic.
They’re very professional and friendly. My dog got spayed here and she recovered so quick. Very attentive. They call to check in on your pets.
Like everyone else previously stated their only doing it for the money. I have a pet guiena pig and just wanted to do grooming for her but the "Doctor" did an exam/office visit which was $57.00 Then they added a wound management clip? even though my guiena pig was fine but they charged me an additional $30.00. So basically they changed me about $117.00 for something a 7 year can do for free. I'm never going back there again
I've had multiple vets from this office work with both my cats and have rarely gone home feeling good about my experience. These vets go out of their way to prescribe expensive medication and perform tests that prove to be unnecessary. When I've gotten liquid medication, it wasn't enough to last the full time period prescribed. If you bring your pets here, expect the vets to immediately go the medication route. Be smart, ask questions, and push back when something feels amiss. At this office, if the vet senses you can afford it, expect to constantly be on your toes to not get swindled. After years of going to this animal hospital, I recently asked for a copy of all my medical records and am finally making the switch to a new office.
Last week I called the Hoboken Animal Hospital and they confirmed they are in the NJ Spay and Neuter Program. I confirmed with them that I have all required documents for the $20 surgery (NJ resident, Hoboken dog license, Adopted dog from registered NJ rescue). I reconfirmed this when they called me the night before the surgery. When I took my dog (Winston) in this morning they did all the paperwork, examined him, took him in the back, and then tried to tell me it will cost $390. They said it is because he is a brachycephalic dog (short nose). This felt like a bait and switch as they have even seen Winston before so they know what type of dog he is. I have now found a place in Hoboken that will do it for $20 (as will all of the other vets I now called). They wasted a lot of our time and they are advertising on the DoS website as a place to get the $20 surgery, which it seems they tried to get out of. On top of all of this, they charged me a $62 office visit for nothing. After talking to the NJ department of state they confirmed I need to be refunded. I had to go back in to get a refund! HUGE waste of time and energy. Avoid at all costs.
My elderly cat's regular vet is in the Poconos where she was being treated for 3rd stage kidney failure. While in town she began to crash - refusing to eat, moaning, weight had dropped to 6 lbs. and she was incontinent (for the first time in her life). I called Hoboken Animal Hospital and they told me to bring her right in. An examination and blood panel indicated liver involvement and an ultrasound revealed liver cancer. Hoboken Animal Hospital obtained the cat's records and consulted with the vet in the Poconos. Ultimately my cat had to be put to sleep. Dr Jimenez and her staff, particularly Lisa, Bonnie and Christine, were extremely supportive, sympathetic and professional. They made a very difficult and upsetting day a little easier to bear. I highly recommend Hoboken Animal Hospital. My visit didn't turnout as I'd hoped but I got to hold my cat while she passed and I said goodbye to a cherished pet.
Do yourself a favor, and go to the Hoboken Infirmary a couple of blocks away.
this is the absolute worst place that i ever took my pet to. the staff is dismissive and rude. the vet was the most arrogant, rude and non-caring vet i had ever seen. the facility is not good - it smells, and it is cramped. they were most interested in running up my bill. i went there once and would NEVER take my pet there again.
The place is filled with really kind people ...I have 2 Guinea pigs and I brought them here a few years ago . I moved so I go to a different doctor who is also great but I do miss the girls from this hospital so sweet and nice ... And the little bird they have clearance he is just the cutest !
Friendly staff, I usually go late on weeknights for my dog.
Great place! Knowledgeable, capable veterinarians, caring and compassionate staff.
Would not recommend this place. Very business mined and pushy
I just wanted to take the time to thank Bonnie for being a wonderful person. My dog had a last minute ear infection and she was able to accommodate my dog cinnamon and I to a quick vet visit. I would definitely recommend this place.
I brought my very sick kitty in and he was whisked away where I couldn't go, I heard him cry which he NEVER does, and he was returned to me with his ear soaked (poking and prodding for a possible ear infection) and a bill of almost three hundred dollars MORE than I was originally told it would be. I was told to come back the next day for more testing and billing. An unpleasant and very unsatisfying experience.
DANGER : would literally give them no stars if that was an option. took my puppy in for a small cut she got on the tip of her ear and they suggested that THEY CUT PART OF MY DOGS EAR OFF - rather than to just bandage it and give her medication. even after I asked that they bandage her so I can take her to her actual vet (this was an emergency and they were closest to home) they still pushed the surgery (which was $900 by the way) and told me that was my only option. I still made them just bandage it (which fell off in a matter of hours but according to them should have lasted 5 days) and took her to see her vet in the city who was flabbergasted that they even suggested such a thing. puppy got a proper bandage and medication that cures the ear issue and is doing great thankfully. this place was dirty (as I helped to wipe my puppy's blood off the floor and table, dust and dirt was coming off of everything) and the doctors are inadequate. will never take her here again. literally ever.
Called that day and got appointment of my choice. Given a quote of services needed as sent by email to me. My dog, Satchel a beagle bulldog, needed a lot of work as he unfortunately has been a little neglected due to our life issues. I went in to the vet and said give him everything he needs. I knew I would be spending the money to get him correct, that’s ok. I was surprised a bit by the total that came out. It it was expressed to me in detail by the doctors there and I was good with it. All in all a great visit with professional, understanding staff and doctors. My dog, my first born, got his treatment and will be so much better for it. Thank you for a quick, professional and friendly event.
I recently moved to Hoboken. Came in to ask a few questions regarding traveling with my pets international, and getting annual vaccines. Ladies at front desk are very nice and helpful. I have many neighbors that recommend this hospital. I will make this hospital my primary vet.
Never went in after being put on hold on the phone. In the 3min. Holding on they picked up n just kept putting me back on hold 6 times without saying anything. I guess they were hoping I would finally hang up. But my dog was very sick and I finally had to do something else. I had to take him out of town. I guess I was better off because they didn't seem to care much anyway I don't think I would want them to have looked at my dog
去火葬了领养的小猫,很体贴很专业
Despite all the bad reviews we decided to give Hoboken Animal Hospital a shot after getting absurdly high quotes for Heart worm treatment at 3 other local vets. Its now been 3 months since we had the treatment and have since also had our dog neutered there. Dr Sprague and the staff including Bonnie have been nothing shy of Great! They treated our buddy with all the compassion we'd expect from a family member. I don't claim to discount the other bad reviews. All I can do is speak of our experience ,which has been great.!
It's just ok cuz it seems crowded all the time. The staff is genuine and the Dr is friendly. The pricing is always... Like what? But they do work with you.
UNBELIEVABLE HORRIBLE! I took my puppy to that place for vaccines. And Dr. Van Binsbergen (That's right! She is a horrible vet!) gave my puppy a same vaccine shot which the health record says it has been taken just five days ago! My puppy was very sick after that and it turned out a PNEUMONIA! I have to take my puppy to a larger hospital and spent me $1500+ for the first day treatment. But when I went back to speak with Dr Van Binsbergen, she admitted she made a mistake, but she refused to apologise nor to cover the reimbursement!!! Last words, this is not an animal hospital, this is an ANIMAL GRAVE! Think about it when you bring your dog to this place! They will try everything to suck the blood from your pocket and refuse to refund because they know you have to file a complaint to the Board of Veterinarian Medicine, and let the case turn to be a federal lawsuit. It takes more than a year for you to win and to suspend the veterinarian's license. They know you would prefer losing the money to wasting time on lawsuit. So wake up people, just stop going to this animal hospital for you own sake. Save some money and time.
Great Staff
