Completely overpriced. Charged ridiculous fees for the most simple of tasks. My dog is heartworm positive (which we know, and has been treated for...), and the vet scared the living daylights out of us. Completed tests that were unnecessary. I got a second opinion from a different vet who has experience with heartworm, she put my mind at ease and knows exactly what to do! When I called BPvet to let them know what the second opinion said, he questioned her years of experience in heartworm knowledge/treatment (kid you not - He said - "She doesnt have years of experience with heartworm because she doesn't work in the south"... Um - she worked previously with the ASPCA and tons of rescue dogs who are heartworm positive..), and then proceeded to tell me incorrect and inaccurate information. I wouldn't fault him had admitted that he has little experience with heart worm positive dogs. YIKES! Not a good feeling. Do NOT recommend.

Love the vet Dr Kerry McLaughlin! Gave us a fast appointment to bring our dog in. Small intimate place with one vet. Receptionist was pleasant, helpful and responsive to requests after the visit. They have a stock of doggie essentials. They are part of a group of four vet offices including the Seaport Animal Hospital, the Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital, and the West Village Animal Hospital. Hours of operation - Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 7:00 pm , Sat - Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

When I brought my pup to this location the first time in 2017 they were very pleasant and approachable. However the facilities were uninviting and did not line up with the quality from other reputable and similarly priced vets near by. We had an emergency and went to the vet again in recently and the service was horrible. The veterinarian was very very rude, and he spoke to my daughter and I in a manner that was condescending. Brushing off the history and mishaps that caused this exacerbation of my dogs health risk and costs spent by our family as if it were not consequential and was severely unsympathetic. We had an allergy issue that was misdiagnosed by our family vet and when the groomer alerted us to the severity of the issue we could not get into a vet asap so we went back to this office. Even after the horrible manners of the vet my husband called to get medical record and the person who answered said somewhat balked out our request and seemed to be resistant to give us the information unless we came back for a follow up. I would go to NJ before I go back to this office that's closeby but the service quality and location is not worth the effort.

We've been really happy with Battery Park Veterinary Hospital. We feel like Prince is in good hands when we take him there, and Dr. Berk is absolutely a fantastic doctor. Highly recommended!

They are always super helpful and available for my two puppies. The wait isn't long and for a typical check up, it only takes about 20 minutes.

All of the vets here are extremely nice and helpful. This vet office is affiliated with one in West Village (and has great digital medical records for your pet!), so it is convenient for you in multiple locations. My Japanese Chin has gone here since he first came into my life... I am so thrilled to recommend this wonderful veterinary practice! It's pricy, but for your fur baby, the service is more than worth it!

The staff is pleasant, the space is small. My biggest complaint is that after dropping off the dog and paying $500+ before walking out, we then again owed $270 when picking her up. It would have been nice to have a total quote ahead of time. Nobody is arguing that you arent worth what you are charging, but it shouldnt be a guessing game. That poor communication is what caused us to look for another vet. We felt taken-advantage-of.

Such a helpful staff. We have been taking our dog here her entire life. We now live across the river and still come back here. They also keep accurate records in their system and send out reminders for health circle and yearly shots etc.

Are you kidding me? I have a post PU surgery tomcat and you guys have charged us ANOTHER $600+ to treat a routine UTI?! My cat is prone to them because of his PU surgery and you guys charge me as if it is a new, bewildering case. Terrible work ethic. I can't do anything because I am deployed and have to rely on my husband to get a friend into the vet while he is at work and we are at the doctor's mercy who stumbles through my cat's files. You JUST treated my cat in February for the same thing! We are done with you.

Friendly doctors, staff does a good job of scheduling visits and sending reminders. A little pricey and they recommend cleaning pretty early in dogs life compared to other vets.

This place is so close to home and they really seem to take care of Bella. They just redid their entrance to make it look more inviting too!
