What a great place. The doctors are very knowledgable and the place is very professional. They helped me with my sick dog and he lived longer than expected. I take my other dogs there and I am very happy with their service. They answered all questions I had no matter how silly they might have seemed. They always follow up with your visit with a phone call. I would highly recommend this place. I never had any issues with them. They are always friendly and courteous.

Russell animal hospital has been phenomenal with our pets. All of the employees there are super friendly. Jamie Kule is our vet there and she is absolutely amazing. Always very friendly, knowledgeable, and to the point. She remembers our dog every time and even calls her by her nickname. Our bills are generally half of what we are expecting. Definitely affordable and the care is unmatched.

I was a client for approximately two years. The care by the female veterinarians was very good and another family member had the same experience. But there were two basic problems. One of the two veterinarians left. And the billing was very aggressive. You are billed for exams even when the purpose of the visit is for routine, scheduled vaccinations. So for a puppy, you will be billed for three examinations in 16 weeks for routine puppy shots. Russell appears to mark up their medication 100% over compatible retail. I was also irritated when a "consultation" with a questionable dog trainer appeared on my bill. Russell did adjust the bill by $8 after I complained. You may get quality care from a veterinarian at Russell as you would elsewhere. However, each bill will be inflated and services will be unnecessary. So one might look elsewhere. I did.

I have used Russell Animal Hospital for all my veterinary needs since 1988. They have cared for my numerous dogs from puppyhood into adulthood through the senior years until end of life care, with knowledge, skill, and compassion. In the process they have educated me and I am a better pet owner because of them. Every member of the staff from receptionists to technicians to the doctors is friendly and kind. Each one is willing to go out of their way to help make each visit a positive experience. I have often thanked them privately and now am pleased to be able to do so publicly.

I do not recommend this place at all. We are changing vets because each time my boyfriend and I leave here, we feel terrible. The ladies at the desk are great, friendly and caring, but the two female doctors we had experiences with were horrible. They were condescending and rude and spoke down to us as if we were children. One doctor tried to jump down our throats and say that our puppy is illegal because I simply didn't have the flight information/ paperwork on me at the time. On the second occasion, the vet allowed the technician to get bit and informed us that this was "something we needed to work on." The puppy was 11 weeks old so I have no idea how they allowed themselves to get bit when it is their job to put a dog in a safety hold while giving injections. We are friendly, caring people and just can not get over how terrible we felt after these appointments. We are changing vets and I would like to warn others that this could happen to them.

The vets to a person have been caring, competent and great to deal with, including when I have had to make the decision to put down a well-loved pet.

I want to thank all the staff for making Einstein's first visit a successful one. I experienced excellent customer service for my pet and I. Did I mention how clean this place is? Did I mention how welcoming the front staff are? Well, this place is immaculate and welcoming. Dr. Frontz (loved her) and Lara answered all my questions and concerns with such care. I did not feel like they were a money hungry establishment. Matter of fact, they didn't ask me anything about money. I told them what I wanted done and they told me the price. Any other suggestions were negotiated on priority of need.. Believe me, Einstein is already feeling better. Thanks to Kristen, all the billing is correct. The TEAM here are worth visiting. Thank You for caring for Einstein today! :)

We've been taking our cats to Russell Animal Hospital for about 40 years. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians are excellent. Our calls are always answered promptly. Recently, another of our cats was diagnosed with a condition requiring prescriptions. The attending vet called us with instructions after our appointment and then followed up several times to see how things were going. There are not enough stars to reflect how highly I recommend Russell. I would give it 10 or 100 or 1,000,000 stars if it were possible. We even receive sympathy cards when a pet passes away.

They have also been caring of me as an owner, particularly when I have had to let my dogs cross that Rainbow Bridge. I don't think I adequately express how pleased I am with Russell Animal Hospital--but I'll try! Before becoming a client, I scheduled a time to meet with one of the doctors so I could ask questions and observe the office. I had recently moved from California and had started with another practice, but it wasn't a good fit at all. I didn't want that to happen again. I met with Dr. Kelly Heitz who was very nice, down to earth and answered all of my questions. I've seen every doctor at the practice and they are all great. One of my dogs had cancer and went for treatment in Massachusetts. Russell Animal Hospital was amazing during the entire process. I felt like they were going through it with me. One day recently I went in with one of my dogs. (I love that I can call and they are staffed with enough doctors, they can almost always get me in the same day) I met with one of the doctors who I hadn't seen in probably a year. She actually gave me details about my dog before looking at his chart. I was surprised that she knew anything. She said that they do morning meetings so they are familiar with the animals who are part of their practice. I was so impressed. And, the office staff and technicians are just wonderful. Friendly, helpful and professional. Also, they always call the day after a visit to see how the pet is doing if there are in for a bigger visit like shots. And, they are not the type of practice to bring animals in for testing or unnecessary visits. Their pricing is fair, I think they are worth every penny. They ALWAYS call me back if I place a call and need to speak with one of the doctors. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.
