We are so very thankful, impressed, and pleased with the tenderness, skill, loving care, and especially the high level of knowledge Dr. Volinski possesses. We have a 6yr old cat that suddenly developed seizures. Dr. Volinski's attention to detail and sharing of knowledge with regard to our cat, but his consultation and advice concerning the necessary medical treatment is second to none. Since this date of 5/5/19, our cat has been seizure free. I have two wishes, one: Dr. Volinski never leaves your hospital, and two: you consider opening your business to regular veterinary care. Thank you!!!

The most courteous people I think I've met when concerning a pet. They were very kind, and understanding through the process of putting my pet to rest comfortably. Recommend to anyone <3

From the kind, calm , professional voice on the phone , to being greeted right away upon arrival , I was informed of everything along the way , and all was very affordable. I can't thank everyone enough for the caring , professional experience for my Willow. I will highly recommend !

I brought my dog there for an emergency and was ignored pretty much. I got the "we be with you, we're busy" well, I'm not paying 150$ to walk through the door unless I get emergency services right then. We went someplace else and was taken care of right away.

Dr.'s Volinsky,Morris,Hernandez and the rest of the staff are great people. They care for your pet as if they were your own. You know they just wanna do what's right for your pet and you. There was no pressure in the decision making process and they were very helpful with all my concerns. I'm very happy I brought my cat there because they were able to save his life and now he is on the road to recovery and doing very well. I can't thank the staff enough for what they did. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give less then a star I would. I arrived at the hospital at approximately 5pm. As I walk through the door I'm immediately addressed. Maureen I bileave her name was but not with a friendly "hello" Or "Who do we have here" . No, I get "is that Zues" (that's not his actual name but along that line). which I replied "no". "who's that and what's wrong with him?" "Rosco, he has an issue with his paw or shoulder not quite sure". without saying anything else she grabbed a clipboard and pen saying "Fill this out and bring it back to me" i took about two step when I read what she wanted me to fill out and it was everything they already had on file. So I turn to her and say "excuse me how much of this do I need to fill out"? "Just the top""You already have all this information I've been here three or four times" "It's just in case anything has changed" "Nothing has changed" "Just fill it out anyways". Maureen MIGHT be good at the records part of her job I don't know? But she is terrible at the customer service. I filled out the paperwork and put it on the desk. Shortly after "Zues" came in. I don't know the story but what I do know is that the woman who brought Zues in was not his owner. The vet knew all this that's why I was mistaken for him.Anyways when Maureen handed her the paperwork the woman said " No this is not my dog and tried to hand Maureen a card with all the owners information. Maureen told her "I don't want that just copy her information on to the form". Well, at least I was not the only one she was rude too. The only people in the waiting room was myself and Zue's care taker. None of the other patient rooms had people in them nor was there anyone in the side rooms. No body was moving with a sense of urgency or even seemed to care we were there.. Over an hour went by and nobody said anything to me until my name was called. Sherrie was her name. A very brief shine of light on this experience. Pleasant, professional, asked what happen, took pulse. the entire interaction took maybe three minutes."The doctor will be right with you". "Thank you" 25 min later still sitting in the tiny room listening to what i'm guessing is Vet tech"s and doctors laughing in the back the entire time. Finally I step outside the room and ask Maureen if she knows if I will be seen soon? She standing at the computer looks over and says "I'll go in the back and check". As I turned to go back in the room she sat down and made a phone call. I looked out the door a few minutes later she was still on the phone that's how I found out her name was Maureen. I herd her say that while she was on the phone call. I sat there for another 5 min then grabbed my limping dog and walked out. There was no unfortunate incident they all had to attend to, no big life threatening emergency. I could have understood that. This is simply a business that has become complacent and has forgotten and grown cold to their customer and patient needs. it would have to be an EXTREME EMERGENCY to get me back again. Just a quick respond to their condescending reply . Unfortunately whomever responded did not comprehend my original post as he/she made several points that I myself made and distorted the rest. Any individual who reads both the review and response can clearly see the hypocrisy. This further cements my Original statement that this business has become complacent and has forgotten and grown cold to their customer and patient needs.

I had to bring our cat Gracie in over the weekend . She was in Kidney Failure. It was very hard since we had her for 12 years and Gracie went over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Hernandez was wonderful as well all the staff there. . Kind, Compassionate, and Caring.

Tech, McKenzie, and Dr. Volinski are awesome. My "booboo" foot girl is afraid of men. He is so patient and good with her. So happy my vet recommended we come here as they are great. (Plus, they didn't even recommend expensive tests even when I asked if she should have xrays-he said "we could but it is $312 that you don't need to spend when our treatment plan is same".) Seen quickly but not rushed. Not that anyone ever wants to go to a doggy ER, but if we have to, this will be the place!

Extremely professional, honest and fairly priced. Staff was very friendly and didn’t try to up sell on extra services. Thank you.

I had an exceptional experience here during a very traumatic situation with my dog. Each staff member I encountered, from the person I spoke with on the phone to each of the assistants and the doctor, I could see that they all love what they do and they are very qualified individuals. Dr. Koerber and her staff were very kind to me and my dog. Although I was not allowed in the back with my dog, I could hear them talking to her very sweetly. This assured me that she was getting the best care possible and means more to me then they could ever imagine. Although this was an accident and I was feeling guilty about the circumstances under which the accident occurred. At no point did the staff judge or make me feel bad about what happened. I am very fortunate to have found REVH and I feel very confident that they absolutely saved my dog's life. I would highly recommend this office.

Is very sad that I went to this animal hospital to take my daughter chihuahua to get help and yes the assistance was good but at the end I didn't know I had to pay right there up front full balance for the dog while I had to pick him up the next day and this ppl couldn't stay with my daughter dog because I didn't had the money right there I didn't had the cash on me because the bank is close and I have a passbook to draw money out of my account so they went and call the police on me let me go home with my daughter dog feeling sick and had to go home with my 5 years old daughter talking about those ppl are bad they want to take you to jail and want to let my dog die at my house and now I have to put my daughter on therapy for disorder of what they did in front of my 5 year old daughter in a animal hospital that's to show you how much of a heart this ppl have and care for animals so if you don't have the money sorry your dog will die for what they care while I even told them I will stay in the waiting area intill the next day so I could go to the bank and get the money so i could pay full for my daughter dog so I could get the help to get better and myself pay them in full I woke up with my daughter not wanted to go to school because of this hospital the so called assistant manager wich she needs to learn how to be one because don't even have a heart if my daughter dog would of die on my way home but I will not recommend this hospital to no one for there animals very bad ppl skills I belive in comma just because my daughter didn't want to go to school talking about if the animal hospital is going to call the cops on me and but my mom in jail thankx very much for what you guys did to my daughter hope you guys have fun what you guys did to a 5 years old .

This animal emergency hospital is amazing. Once we brought our dog Pandora there and then the other day we brought our Parrot Baby there for emergencies. The staff are great people and show how much they love animals. They keep you so well-informed throughput the whole process. They take care to not stress out your beloved pets to the utmost of their capability. Very fairly priced for emergencies. Hands-down the best emergency care for your non-human family members in Southern NH. Wouldn’t take my pets to any other emergency center. Thank you guys again for what you do.

(Translated by Google) Good experience, staff very human, very different from my experiences in Quebec. My cat had to be euthanized and a medical examination was required immediately, the vet found the severity of the condition of my cat and explained are printing. The review I have not been charged since euthanasia was the best option. So I feel I have helped my cat by aggregating their suffering without doubt that I could have done anything to save his life. Merci

Phenomenal. Staff is professional, caring. Care to animals is top notch. You wont leave feeling like you've been robbed. If you need an emergency vet, this should be your first stop.

I do NOT recommend this hospital. I was here with my cat who got hit by a car the other day and I’ll spare the details but after about an hour of dealing with the vet being extremely rude and giving us seemingly impossible options, we were with my cat in his last moments and we were told his heart stopped. We left after a few minutes with him. About 10 minutes later the vet came in and asked if we wanted her to give him euthanasia to put him out of his suffering because he was still jolting a little bit (which happens often to humans and animals after they die), even though he had already been dead for over 10 minutes now. Since we were emotional we didn’t even think twice or really understand what she said, I’m not even sure if we really responded. But we were charged over $200 to put down a cat that was already gone. I feel very taken advantage of because of how clearly emotional and vulnerable we were. Very insensitive staff and seem to use people for their money.

I called about a problem with my dog and had to bring him in and it seemed as if they were waiting for us to get there VERY nice staff, this was a complete game changer for us in regards for vet care for our pet. Thank you for the great experience.

I recently had to make some difficult decisions about my Kitty’s health care, everyone at this hospital was honest and compassionate. Thank you for your wonderful service during a very difficult time!

I brought my dog Maggie Lewis to the clinic tonight and I wanted to thank the vet tech who was there for taking care of Maggie and being so kind to me and to my daughter. Thank You. You really are in the right profession. I would recommend Rockingham Veterinary Hospital to anyone.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for end of life care. Dr Hernandez is the best. She’s full of compassion and care!

HORRIBLE experience. My 4 week old puppy was limping, no obvious fractures, but wanted to send to a radiologist to be sure, didn’t want to tell me that it cost $200+ since it was an “after hours report” when they are giving me a hard copy to take my vet anyway, and I found out after they ran my card for much more than I had signed for. But that’s nothing, that’s just money, not my puppy’s well-being. They called me the following morning with radiology report, left a voicemail, I’ve tried calling back numerous times to discuss the report with Dr. Morris as she asked me too, no one was ever available, no one called back. I finally got someone today, and explained how long I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone and that the issue is still happening and I still haven’t gotten a callback regarding the radiology report, the receptionist tells me, “ok, um you were when? Our doctors are taking care of actual emergencies right now so..” and then when I informed her that my 4 week old puppy is just as much as an emergency, and the fact that it has been 4 days since I paid $200 for a report I can’t even get someone to give the results of the full report to me, she looks over it herself and tells me, “well I looked it over and there’s no obvious fractures and to bring him back if it’s still happening” I told her that I knew that about the no fractures and that the doctor told me to call back to discuss it, and she tells me that doctor isn’t there and someone may be able to call me back way later tonight and makes me feel like a huge inconvenience over and over again, she then mentions there was “definite swelling in the soft tissue and that the radiologist said could be a soft tissue injury or an infection due to his age”, but no one thought if it could be a possible infection in a 4 week old puppy, that it may be important to maybe return my calls and explain any of that to me. If I could give this place a negative I would. And after the way that receptionist talked to me and treated me for no reason, I’m sure she does it to others and should absolutely not be working where she has to interact with people at all, nevermind in emergency situations.

Really great care by a really caring staff. We've called them for emergencies in the past maybe 4 times, this is the first time they ever said we should bring him right in. In the past, they had us follow up with our vet and saved us a lot. This time unfortunately, my dog was really sick. They told us upfront what test costs, nothing is cheap, but we understood what we were getting into. They were able to stabilize him so his surgery could be performed next day versus in an emergency situation. They even called to check in the next day to see how he was. I felt Dr. Hernandez truly cared about my dog Shadow. It was a really scary situation and she and her staff did everything they could to help. Expecting a full recovery for Shadow after surgery! Good luck

Dr. Hernandez and the rest of the staff were very helpful in getting my injured pet rabbit patched up after a fight w/ another pet rabbit in our home. They let me send photos of the injury to see if it was something they could handle, ahead of time, and they immediately got back to me to let me know my options. I was extremely grateful that the Vet on duty (Dr. Hernandez) was able to help her. Their costs were transparent, presented ahead of time, and reasonable. They sent us home with antibiotics, pain-reliever, and critical care feed for her, so I was well prepared for the post-op recovery from home. I am very pleased with their knowledge, kindness, and level of care, and would definitely recommend them. Thank you.

After going to the Vet this weekend for an abscess my Husky had, I am not the least bit pleased. They drained the abscess for $619.00 and it filled right back up the next day. I went back the following day “within 24 hours” so it should have been no charge and they charged me another 74.00 for their time. After that the abscess is large yet again and I wake up this morning to the Vet double charging me $619.00 . I called the Vet this morning and they told me sorry there is nothing we can do until their manager is there tomorrow, meanwhile my checking account is negative. I called the bank and they said they put an authorization hold on my account as if I did not already pay off the full services which I did! I would not recommend them to anyone for your pets! Not only were the services not good, they overcharge you as well! Terrible Experience to say the least.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE! THEY WILL ROB YOU! MISTREAT YOUR ANIMAL AND CALL THE POLICE ON YOU WHEN U TELL THEM THEY WILL BE RECEVING A BAD REVIEW! This is the most horrible veternarian hospital i have ever visited .. They where very rude deceiptful and unprofessional. I paid them their outragous estimate of $650 to give my animal sugar water and medication that was not needed for what was wrong with him. I paid cash for the estimated treatment, and was promised a return of cash if the treatment didn't exceed that amount. It didn't , so when I went to go pick my animal up at the time they told me too, they said to me "we don't have any money in the register, you can come back in two day and pick up a check for the amout of $108." I refused their offer because they have lied to me about that. So I told them to just credit the money to my account. Later on the day, tending to my poorly treated animal I decided to go to the store to get him soft food and check my account to see if it was proceeded or not.. Absloutly nothing, called my bank, no such transaction existed .. So I decided to call them, I asked them to cancel the deposit and I will come down and pick up the cash" Later on in the day they must of made atleast $108 in cash. Once again but with two different excuses this time repeating the first. 1. "We have no cash " 2. "We cannot return cash if cash wasnt deposited on the same callender day." 3. " We only have $100 in the register.. So I told them after the woman I spoke to got extremely rude on me I will be writing a bad review on every search platform . In the process of writing this review , I get a phone call from the whindham police deparment . No bullsh!t they called the police on me for what reason .? They refused to give me what was promised to me prior to the unnessary outrageous expensive visit to their horrible establishment. My animal personality has changed 100% he is not the same animal he was before the vist. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE

I am very disappointed that this facility refers to itself as a "Emergency " hospital when the simple fact is they do not even have an ultrasound machine. A standard piece of equipment that one would expect in an "Emergency" facility. After three visits in two days, with no direct answer at a cost of 1600.00, I had to rush my dog to an actual Emergency facility at 3AM in the morning. THANK GOD I did as that facility immediately took xrays, started much needed treatment and then did an Ultrasound. My dog would've died if I had followed the guidance of Rockingham. I gave a 2 star because 2 of the 3 vets my dog saw were attentive and did try to work with the tools available to them. They did the best they could with what they had to work with. I do believe if they had an ultrasound machine, this would have been resolved on the second visit. Not the first vet as she made it clear there was nothing wrong with my dog. I have left a message with the Medical Director and she has yet to return my call. In the best interest of my dog, I will not be returning.

Brought my dog Zippy in on Saturday morning thought he was choking on something. They took a quick look, checked his vitals and determined it was reverse sneezing. Who new? Never charged me a dime, we were willing to pay. Will recommend to all our friends and neighbors in Windham. Thank Again

I've been to Rockingham Emergency Vet twice now and have had a great experience each time. One of my cats had a stroke, and the other dislocated her elbow and they have both been taken care of wonderfully. They walk you through each step of the way -especially price wise- and don't pressure you to make decisions. I would most definitely recommend for fast, quality care of your pets.

We called ahead to let them know we were headed there with a small laceration on our 9lb maltese' leg at approximately 10pm 0n a Tuesday night, fortunately it was a quiet night and they took her immediately from us after a few proprietary questions to room they had set up waiting for her. The doctor was sweet and honest about pricing up front, and there are signs everywhere saying payment is due at time of service so that was not a surprise. Our dog came back a little stressed but that's to be expected and calmed down immediately when we got into the car. Overall great care in an emergency situation. Thank you

A week has past since our girl passed away in my arms.....the kindness and compassion the staff showed my family in our worst possible moment will never be forgotten. Thank you for allowing us to grieve with our girl. The pain of that day has not gone away but you have given us a special piece of yourselves. You are all very special to us. I am so grateful that you were there for us.

Wonderful, caring experience for an emergency with my 1 yr old yellow lab Ollie! Thank you!

Our family want to thank Dr Chris & her assistant for her compassionate care to our elderly dog and helped him be comfortable and not in pain before he passed. We appreciate it so much. My husband and I and our 2 children were there to say goodbye to our 15 yrs old corgi and it had helped with the grieving process.

I highly recommend REVH if your animal is in need. They are upfront with you about pricing before you even bring your pet in. Once in there, there is constant communication about each step they want to take, and pricing on that as well. All the staff were kind, courteous, and really showed a concern for my dog. The discharge paperwork that was given was better than you would receive from a Human hospital. While I hope to not have another emergency with my dog, if I do, I will go straight to REVH. Thank you all again.

A couple of months ago, I brought our favorite cat, Mousey Mouse, to be seen for a large, nasty growth on her head. Previously I’d brought her to a Dracut vet againymy better judgement, only because they were close. They did a biopsy and sent it out for testing, only to say they didn’t know what it was. Her only symptoms were the lump and a slow decrease in weight. Rockingham not only diagnosed the cancer but was able to do it while I waited. Her prognosis was terminal, and the doctor laid out our options clearly and compassionately. This morning at 1:30, we returned to say goodbye to our Mouse. We were treated with dignity and respect for an acceptable cost. I can’t say enough about the hospital and staff to do them justice. Thank you, Rockingham, for helping us through this emotionally difficult time.

I cannot begin to say enough good about this place. I just came home from being at this facility for almost two hours with my rather larger cat Shadow. This facility was more than happy to be COMPLETELY up front and honest about the services that were needed and all of the options that were available. This place did not try to nickel and dime me and I was able to make a sound decision for my cat. If I ever need anything again I will never hesitate to call or go immediately. The entire staff from Veterinarian to the techs and the front desk lady were all super sweet and professional.

We just got back from bringing our cat there. I wish I could remember names better but unfortunately I can't. We got there right before shift change which meant that the initial team dealing with our situation left and passed the info on to the second crew. I wish we had gotten there just a little bit earlier because the second doctor we had was the the ruddest vet I have ever met. She belittled us for not having the $800+ for all of the diagnostic tests she wanted to run and continuously pushed us to agree to further treatment. We had previously agreed to the tests the first doctor had recommended and had discussed going back to our regular vet for the rest since there was nothing blatantly wrong. We had our emergency exam and the test doctor 1 had determined was the top priority which cost us nearly $300. A price I was happy to pay to know that we were not dealing with an emergency situation. The second doctor interrupted me when I was trying to explain our situation and then went as far as to make rude comments when I tried to explain why we couldn't afford their prices. I have never left an office feeling so belittled and put down in my 10+ years of pet ownership. All for an extra dollar. As a healthy care provider myself I could never talk to my patients the way this woman did. It's a shame becsuse everyone else we dealt with was wonderful.

Brought my dog in that passed away. They were very friendly and it wasn't that much to have my dog creamated separately from other dogs. I thought it was a reasonable price. Ty to all who helped

I think the hardest part of the past few weeks, even being hospitalized for illness, was thinking that something horrible was going to happen to my dog. He hurt his paw and seven hours later, I was able to bring him home with some meds for us to have a peaceful night. No matter how bad I feel or sick I am, my animals have always been there for me to come home to everyday. It didn't matter what my grades were (college student) or what job I had- what I looked like or how I feel, my animals brings the most peace and love to my household. The hardest part of the past few months of my life was thinking that my dog was in immediate danger of his health- and that I, the one thing he looked to and centered his whole world around, couldn't help him. Despite it being a wild Labor Day and spending a total of 7 hours there- which was OUT of mine and the staff's control. They worked and did their best with the volume of customers and the number of staff- they took care of my dog and checked him, I wasn't bombarded with extra costs I wasn't aware of. The extra costs were explain to me when it came to medicine. Dr. O, I don't know her full name, and her staff worked really hard. They kept getting bombarded with patients and still held the same professional and kind manners while scrambling to assist every patient from critical to least as fast as possible WHILE doing a thorough job. Dr. O was the only vet on staff and kept her composure even when the ratio of doctor to patient would be from 1:5 at times! That's superhuman ability right there! I don't know her full name, but she has long hair and magenta-fuscia glasses. This was my first time taking my pup to an emergency vet and I was really scared, anxious, and nervous- but the staff's manner and competence got me through and they were able to take care of my dog and give him the things that I couldn't and still send him home within the same day. Thank you. I'm so thankful for this emergency vet. I'm giving a 4 star rating because of our wait time of 3 hours to get a room, waiting several hours to be seen and get results, and then nearly an hour wait to be discharged, but I'm sure on a nonholiday we would have been seen a lot quicker and would have left sooner as well. I'd recommend having more than one doctor on staff for holiday emergency since every other veterinary office is closed and anything could happen.
