I've been here a few times. I first brought my dog here a few years ago the staff was very nice and respectful and helped us to the best of their ability. I more recently brought my dog here for cremation and the staff were very sensitive and caring. They gave me a nice card a few weeks later.

The male vetenarian was ok not the nicest but quick and to the point the fee for appt was only 65 dollars so not too bad versus the animal hospital they guided me after my dog had pancreatitis

I have always used this animal hospital and the majority of the staff is very friendly (Karen at the front desk especially) and both Dr. Tighe and Dr. Melanson have been extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me. The only reason for not giving it a 5 star review is that Dr. Spitzer is working there as well. I have never met a lazier vet in my life, who only cares about big, high profile cases and could care less about your cat with a simple abscess. I have it marked on my chart never to see him, and know 3 other people personally who do the same, so beware of that. Sure, if your dog has a rare heart defect that he is able to find and treat that's amazing, but in my opinion a vet should put in equal amounts of effort into their patients, no matter how simple or small. He is the only negative aspect of this hospital.

Great staff with a wide spectrum of skills. They offer everything, but no pressure to do things you can't or don't want to pay for. Reptile care is very good too. They are a a compassionate group, responding to emergencies without hesitating, even when my lost dog was found and needed treatment, but they didn't know whose dog it was until after they went and picked him up, and made him safe. Our many animals have been seen here for 20 years. Dogs and cats, squirrel, duck, many reptiles.

My 18 yo Chihuahua companion recently passed away, it was a very sad time. The vets and staff at Plymouth Vet Hospital went out of their way to offer comfort to my dog and myself, they were very sensitive to the hard and deep emotions I was going through, I just want to thank them all for guiding and supporting me through my Maggie's disease process. So far my experience with this vet hospital has been amazing. My cat got very ill tonight with a life threatening condition that he has had once before but now I am across the country. They came to my mother-in-law's house (where the cat is) to see him and promptly took him to the hospital. The vet called me two hours later with a full update on his condition and she was staying with him all night. I am extremely impressed by their service and consideration of our cat.

I have taken 3 of my cats to this vet. They are always nice and friendly, suggest services but do not pressure you into dishing out a ton of money. As a poor college student, they understood money was tight, yet I still needed care for my kitties, and they did so at a fair price. I moved to mass and STILL drove to plymouth to have my cats tooth removed as their price was HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than vet in westford ma quoted me.

Having just moved to Plymouth, my dog and I were apprehensive about meeting a new veterinarian. Dr Bertrand was wonderful: gently examining my boy, and gaining his trust. The staff was great, on check-in and check-out. Their fees were below what I'm used to (no big city rent) and their warmth was far greater than other practices we've visited in other towns. A very welcoming experience.

I just retired and work on a 200 year old family farm in Concord NH. The owner passed away about 7 weeks ago, and his 'hired hand' died two weeks before that at 39. I, my daughter and her husband have been taking care of the farm. The owners son works and lives out of state and is very appreciative what we're doing, even using our own cash to maintain it, 35 polled herefords, 70 chickens, one pig. I brought my dog to PAH for I think 12 years. She's an Aussie and has always had skin problems, esp. if she pick up a flea as she's very allergic and this farm is loaded with them. It's terrible for me to watch her scrath and scrath and everything I do does little to no good. They've helped me a few times in the past with this. Now that my funds are limited and waiting for some re-imbursements, (we don't have accounts anywhere) and my dog really needs it, they wouldn't help. They wanted me to bring her in for a visit which would not have been a problem, but and I could barely afford the meds, let alone a short visit for the doctor to tell me what I already know. So I ordered fish anti-biotics because she has too many infected sores and I can't wait until the 20th when my retirement check comes in. I won't be back. "It's all about the money!"

Gave this place a one rating, it doesn't deserve that much of a rating..contacted them for an emergency with my horse at 12p.m. today, with a gash in his left his quater, the vet whom we spoke with tried to talk us out of even having it looked at by her. Finally agrees to see the horse after i insist he is looked at. proceeds to tell us that it will be two hours before she can be there. And also want us to have it cleaned up for her. An hour and a half later calls us and says she thinks she is going to wait and come tomorrow..we contact our varm manager to she what she can do for us she talks to this woman and she tells her that ok she will com bit will be a couple hours...three hours later after calling the emergency service trying to find out where she is she calls us back to tell us she is just too busy with other stuff to get there. But i cam come get antibiotics if i feel like he really needs them. I strongly suggest you don't use this vet if you really care about you're animals..obviously she doesn't care for them.
