Though I've only been here once so far, the experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly, and the doctor was kind and gentle to my somewhat timid kitty. He spent a couple minutes just petting him to make him feel more comfortable. I'm glad to (finally) have a vet I feel good about bringing my animals to.

Our cat became ill on a Saturday. Dr Davis made time for us that morning even though his appointment calendar was already full. We could not be more grateful. Our cat ended up being admitted, and the office called us every morning to tell us how she was doing. And they called the day after she came home to check up on her. Dr Davis made us so comfortable and eased our fears. Everyone in his office was so caring. And our cat is now acting like a kitten again, at almost 14 years old.

I have been bringing my older cat there off and on over the years and they have always been great. It wasn't until recently when our younger cat suddenly developed a severe health crisis that my daughter and I experienced the depth of the whole facility's compassion. Everyone, from Jill at the desk to the techs and doctors, were truly wonderful through the whole experience as we said good bye to our little guy. I could not recommend another group of people as much as I do everyone there.

Not sure where to start..... I'm from Boca Raton and my yorkie poo and shih tzu are my world. They are used to the best. Moved to New Hampshire and married my husband. He came with 2 bull terriers. I am used to the best of the best and north wood exeeded all my expectations. Better than any other vets and I don't say that lightly. Everyone who is there was meant to be there and do their jobs above and beyond.... Front desk to the techs to the vets. All highly skilled and on point. They are so calm and caring yet don't flinch in difficult situations. Dr. Davis and Dr. Treat are amazing and caring and seem to never tire. I know Jill's voice as soon as she picks up a morning call and is ready for anything. Everyone there, thank you. You are all saints. We love you. Highly recommend. I am very particular and this review is honest and heartfelt.

I called Northwood Vet about a week or so ago and i told them that there was something wrong with my dog and (i thought it might manage but i wasn't sure ) who is my pride and joy, and i told them i needed to help my current vet would not see me without money upfront and, I explained my situation that i was disabled and u have financial difficulties and i expected to hear I'm sorry but we can't help you, but it was not like that. The staff is amazing Dr.Davis is amazing he was so gentle with my baby he listened and then told me what he thought was going on and i agreed. I highly recommend Dr.Davis @ Northwood Veterinary.

Northwood vet...Dr..Treat and Dr. Davis are the kindest most compassionate people in the industry. Combine that with caring and compassionate vet techs and you have the best vet clinic there is. In the past we have taken our pugs there for annual check ups and for the passing to rainbow bridge. Recently our cat became very sick. Without hesitation they checked her out and admitted her. The process was flawless even allowing us "visitation" so we could actually see how she was. If you are anywhere near northwood this is the place to take your fur babies.

Dr Hugh saved my dog Honey’s life. We found her in a park lame. She developed a serious problem because of a ruptured diaphragm. We took her to the place Dr Hugh was on call in an emergency setting. She was vomiting and could not hold anything down. Dr Hugh performed surgery and Honey lives still because of his care and skill. We were so blessed to have him operate on Honey. Thank you again Dr Hugh!!!

Dr. Davis has been such a gift. I have driven up from Boston for the past 15 years. He has treated all of my dogs and is always available unless he's in surgery. I tried a new vet in Boston 2 weeks ago, only due to an emergency and I left and decided I'm not switching vets I'd rather drive 4 hours and get the BEST care!

Scheduled our dogs surgery for a Wednesday at 11. I called Wednesday night around 5:30 asking for updates, they called back around 6, explaining they didnt do the surgery when they said they were going to. So it was moved to the following day. Wasnt entirely impressed there especially after being referred from our vet

Exceptional service!!! We had an emergency when our dog decided to eat a porcupine (or at least attempt to) and the staff was able to fit us in within 5 minutes of arriving. Jill at the front desk, Dr. Treat, and the Techs were outstanding. The prices for a last minute emergency were very reasonable as well. We have found our new Veterinarian. Thank you!

The only reason for the 5 star rating is because they are willing to go beyond expectations. I was in a bit of a panic state with my mother in laws purse dog, who had a severely broken leg. They were willing to allow us in, took care of the break, gave a VERY accurate estimate of the cost, and helped us thought the healing process. Beyond this, they contacted me a few times just to "check in" and ask a few questions about the condition of the dog and to see if they could help is further. Other vets in the area have never shown this much concern or compassion. They also tried to find every avenue to assist us with caring for mom's dog, and were eager to do more to assist us. This was almost a 4 star rating because there was an issue with the "gruffness" in an exchange between a family member and a staff member. The incident was short and may not have been noticed by the staff member, as I think they may not notice how their words come off to others. On the whole, the experiences we have had since our first meeting have all been positive, and we now bring all our domestic animals to Northwood.

Dr. Judy Mahoney and her team take great care of your pets and go the extra mile to help you. I had a dog with ACL / pain issues and they helped me make him comfortable in his old age so he could be more active. Great vet!
